GloRilla Teams Up With Tons Of Female Memphis Rappers For Gnarly Cut, “Wrong One”

Memphis songstress, GloRilla continues to have a knack for bringing wild energy to a track. Even when a song is a bit more low-key, the rapper can turn the levels up to 1000 in a hurry. For example, look at her feature from Don Toliver’s latest record, Love Sick. She lays down a feature on the third track, “Leave The Club,” which also includes Lil Durk. Toliver is singing and rapping about leaving the nightlife to head back to his place to get things more intimate if you will.

However, near the backend of the track, the beat picks up and changes to where GloRilla can come in and dominate it. Her deep rumble provides a menacing element that you might not expect. But, that is what she can do for a song. It is a skill that is helping her blow up in the mainstream and fans are starting to pay attention to her unique sound.

Lil Baby Gifts A Bike To A Fan In New Video: Watch

Lil Baby has been in the news for all kinds of strange reasons recently, very few of which have much to do with music. Recently a clip of the rapper started making the rounds where he’s talking to fans on the street. Throughout the video he’s seen holding a bike, for what reason is unknown. At the end of the video, he hands the bike off to a fan before scampering off back to his car. Fans in the comments were both confused and amused by the video. “Resale going be crazy on that bike,” one fan jokes. “Why is he so damn funny…anything he do,” another commenter asks. This isn’t the only time recently that Lil Baby has been giving things away to fans. Last month he hosted a back-to-school giveaway giving tons of kids new pairs of shoes for the upcoming school year. The giveaway took place in Baby’s hometown of Atlanta and clips from the event featured excited kids getting their new shoes. Baby is a notorious sneakerhead and when he ran into Fat Joe last month it was the main thing they had to talk about.

While Lil Baby has largely been quiet on the musical front recently, he did join one big song last month. He teamed up with Future and Lil Uzi Vert for a stacked new single from DJ Khaled. The song is called “Supposed To Be Loved” and serves as the lead single for Khaled’s new album TIL NEXT TIME which is expected to drop later this year.

Lil Baby also made a different kind of musical move last month. He cosigned Rylo Rodrigues by signing the rapper to his Glass Window Entertainment label imprint. Drake Says He Would Live In Phoenix For At Least A Month

Drake always knows how to get his fans uncontrollably excited. Whether it is teasing albums, bringing out special guests for his shows, or saying anything really, the Six God has that type of effect. People are really buzzing about him right now because of his next album, For All The Dogs. So much information has come out throughout the past few months, but alas the project is not out just yet. The original rumored date was August 25, when Amazon Music was hinting at it on Twitter.

The music world was highly disappointed, but Drizzy never actually confirmed the reports to begin with. At one of his shows, he addressed the issue. “I know everybody’s upset because I didn’t drop my album last night. I didn’t say it was dropping last night. So don’t be mad at me. I just said it was coming soon,” he said. Hopefully, it does drop soon, as we recently discovered a unique tease of a possible release date from Drake’s IG. In other news from the other night during The Boy’s show, he made a statement during his performance in Glendale, Arizona.

Drake took a moment to talk to the crowd, as he has done continuously throughout his It’s All A Blur tour. The rapper says that he has always enjoyed his time whenever he has shows in the desert. So much so, that he is considering moving there for a little bit. In this video clip from ourgenerationmusic’s IG account, Drake says, “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world, I love it here.” He continues, “I told my manager… after tour’s over, once I get my birthday out the way, Ima come live in Phoenix for like a month.” Not surprisingly, fans were screaming at the mention he would consider living in the Valley of the Sun.

Mariah The Scientist Shows No Signs Of Straying From Young Thug As Rapper Remains Behind Bars

Spending the past year and a half in jail has been trying on Young Thug’s mental health, but it’s also left a hole in the life of his girlfriend, Mariah the Scientist. The pair began spending time together romantically just months before he was arrested on RICO charges, and the YSL leader has done his best to make sure she can feel his love through the distance. Seeing as she’s a rising R&B star in her own right, Mariah likely has plenty of suitors sliding into her DMs. However, in a recent interview, the Atlanta native confirmed that she’s holding out for Thugger’s release, no matter how long it takes.

“What would you say to people who had something to say about you saying, ‘Free my baby daddy,’ or ‘Free Thug!’”? the journalist speaking with the “Church” artist asked. “I feel like, and this is in all honesty, there is nobody on planet Earth that can get between me and supporting my man,” The Scientist confidently responded. “I’m sorry, it’s just not gonna happen,” she assured any doubters out there.

Mariah then called out people on the internet for making assumptions about her and Thug, among other things, and being judgemental. “They have a lot to say, but I’m sorry to hear that you don’t understand what I got going on,” the 25-year-old continued to clap back at haters. “Maybe one day you will, but the odds are you won’t. I don’t feel the need to explain and express to somebody the love I have for somebody else… It’s not gonna change what I have going on, what people have to say.”

Unfortunately for Young Thug and Mariah the Scientist’s love life, it doesn’t look as though the So Much Fun hitmaker will be freed from jail anytime soon. Quavo Puts Out Visuals For “Galaxy” From “Rocket Power”

“I gotta go up for Take’.” That is exactly what the head of the Migos, Quavo did back on August 18 of this year. The day reflects the release date of his sophomore solo project, Rocket Power. The 18-track LP is a tribute to his late nephew and trio member, Takeoff. He tragically passed on November 1, 2022, after he was fatally shot after a dice game went south. It put the world of hip-hop at a standstill as many, especially the Migos, mourned his untimely demise.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, we received the rapper and singer’s new project. The album did not perform well sales-wise, with about 32,000 copies sold. However, it is most likely safe to say that Quavo cares more about the impact of the record and the music behind it, rather than the dollar amount. That shows throughout the tracklist in different packages. The opening track, “Fueled Up” is an epic way to start the album with Quavo rapping about doing this for Takeoff. Simultaneously, this all performed over some amazing production.

A track that takes a different approach to showing emotion is “Galaxy.” It is more of an R&B cut, where Quavo is doing more melodic singing here. This song is about showering his lady with love and wanting to splurge on her. The beat has a nice groove as well that you can dance to or just sit back and relax and feel the vibe. The music video above features him with a woman in some Latin American country while also taking in the surroundings of city life. There are plenty of gorgeous shots containing the architecture and the native people.

Carlee Russell’s Ex Shuts Down Clout Chaser Allegations, Confirms They Haven’t Been In Contact

Earlier this summer, the disappearance of Carlee Russell sent shock waves across the internet. Initially, people were concerned about the well-being of the missing Black woman, who claimed to have pulled over to the side of the road to assist a child. When Russell resurfaced at her parent’s house a few days later, however, questions began to arise about the validity of her claims. Ultimately it was discovered that there was no toddler on the highway, and then most of what Carlee shared with authorities wasn’t exactly accurate.

Now that Russell is facing criminal charges, her ex, Thomar Simmons, is sharing more of his thoughts on the situation. “I mean we had a little argument but it wasn’t nothing to kidnap yourself over,” he reflected. “I’m confused, like what happened? What made you do this? I don’t understand.” In his podcast episode, the creator also made it clear that he had nothing to do with Carlee’s scheme, and that he’s not seeking any clout from the incident.

A group of Lizzo’s ex-employees have filed a lawsuit against her for her apparently inappropriate behaviour, though she’s since responded with a countersuit.

Some people would be too embarrassed or anxious to step outside amid so much drama. The “Truth Hurts” hitmaker seemed to initially lay low, though she eventually resurfaced and has frequently been seen with a smile on her face ever since. In August she flew overseas to Shibuya where Lizzo was sure to spread plenty of love. In honour of Labour Day long weekend, she’s spending some time in the sunshine with friends.

Thankfully other artists in the “Water on Water” hitmaker’s community have since stepped up to ensure his legacy lives on. Outside of being a talented rapper, Dolph was also known to be a family man through and through. His fiancee, Mia Jaye, and their young children were devastated upon hearing news of his 2021 murder.

On Saturday (September 2), the widow decided to express herself musically on social media, sending out a message to his accused killers. In an acapella video posted to her Instagram Story, Jaye sang, “How could you take a father from his family and kids / Mr. Shooter, dear Mr. Shooter, what the f**k was you thinkin’/ You done f**ked up now.” The emotion in her voice is obvious. It also isn’t surprising considering the fashion designer has frequently spoken about the pain she feels while mourning Dolph.
