The Weeknd is easily one of the biggest artists in the entire world. When you have as much influence as Abel does, you are going to get a lot of people to follow your every move. Overall, being an artist in his position wields a lot of power. Ultimately, he has money that he can give to massive causes. Furthermore, by coming through with a simple action, he can influence others to match him, even if on a smaller scale. These are the reasons why a lot of fans want artists to be open and honest about their beliefs.

As many of you already know, there is a conflict going on in the Middle East. This conflict is between Israel and Palestine. The Palestinian people have been facing horrific conditions in Gaza. Up until the cease-fire, they were facing bombs and occupations, every single day. This has left many people displaced and without any food or water. Well, The Weeknd is using his role as a United Nations World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador to improve the situation.

According to TMZ, The Weeknd is donating $2.5 million to the organization. This will lead to 4 million meals making their way into the region. Overall, this is a massive move that will help out a whole lot of people. Palestinians have gone through so much over the last decades, and while this doesn’t bring an end to the conflict, it will improve the lives of many. You have to give credit where it is due here. Hopefully, others with The Weeknd’s money and influence will do something similar.

Kodak Black Admits He’d Donate $1 Million To Donald Trump

Kodak Black says he’d be willing to give Donald Trump $1 million if he needed it. He discussed his appreciation for the former president during a recent appearance on Drink Champs.

“Yeah, I f*ck with that boy. We ain’t even gotta talk too much about the sh*t,” Kodak said while N.O.R.E. brought up Trump pardoning him for a 2019 weapons conviction. When N.O.R.E. proposed the idea of Trump needing $1 million, Kodak remarked that he would give him the money. “Of course,” he said with no hesitation.

Kodak previously discussed his support for Trump after he was indicted, earlier this year. “I feel like these people on some other sh*t,” Kodak said on Instagram Live at the time. “So they know like, they gon’ try to get Trump out the way ’cause Trump a stand-up n***a, he a real n***a. He’ll let a bi**h do anything … Trump a real n***a, man, a soldier.” He added that he expects Trump to return to office. “He ain’t tripping on that, he ain’t flagging … They gon’ fake it ’til they make it. Latto Donates $35k To High School For Homecoming

Latto hooked up students at her high school alma mater with a $35,000 donation for their homecoming, last week. While attending the event, she hopped in a TikTok with the homecoming queen, brought WingStop for the students, and more.

When The Neighborhood Talk shared a compilation of posts from the night on Instagram, fans praised the 24-year-old rapper. One wrote: “This is sweet. I know those students were super excited. Always good to show love to where you come from.” Another added: “Some of y’all people in the comments are so bitter it’s sad…great job young lady! Under 30 and thinking enough of others to give back!”

Back in 2022, she provided $250,000 in Christmas gift donations to Clayton County, Georgia through her Win Some Give Some Foundation. “I owe a lot of my success to Clayton County, so it feels really good to be here,” she said at the the time, as noted by Vibe. “My old school Rex Mill (Middle School) is literally two minutes down the street and (as) we were driving past it, I was like, ‘Oh my God. Not only did he generously donate over $100,000 worth of brand-new clothing, but he also took the time to visit several schools in the Bronx. He personally surprised over 600 students. His act of kindness extends beyond material donations. He offered heartfelt words of encouragement to uplift and inspire the young minds gearing up for another academic journey. Fat Joe’s commitment to his community continues to make a positive impact.

Moreover, Fat Joe’s generous donation encompassed a wide range of clothing items. This included comfortable sweatsuits and trendy tracksuits to stylish t-shirts, shorts, and sneakers. He was telling us seniors how to stay out of the streets, stay focused in school.”

A true luminary in hip-hop, Fat Joe has consistently supported and gave back to his hometown. Notably, following the tragic fire that took place in the Bronx last year, he emerged as a leading advocate. He spearheaded a relief fundraiser. All proceeds were dedicated to aiding those affected by the devastating blaze, which claimed the lives of 19 individuals and left 32 with life-threatening injuries at the Twin Parks North West building. Fat Joe partnered with the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, rallying support from his close friends, Jay-Z and DJ Khaled, to encourage generous contributions to the fund.

Lil Baby Gifts A Bike To A Fan In New Video: Watch

At the end of the video, he hands the bike off to a fan before scampering off back to his car. Fans in the comments were both confused and amused by the video. “Resale going be crazy on that bike,” one fan jokes. “Why is he so damn funny…anything he do,” another commenter asks. This isn’t the only time recently that Lil Baby has been giving things away to fans. Last month he hosted a back-to-school giveaway giving tons of kids new pairs of shoes for the upcoming school year. Chrisean Rock Gets Emotional While Donating To Her Church

Chrisean Rock recently paid her hometown church a visit, blessing her pastor with a heartfelt gift. In a new clip, the performer and reality star stands on stage with Dr. Mike Freeman, reflecting on a moving experience she had as a child. She explains that as a kid, she was still coming into her religion, but could still “feel the presence of God.” Chrisean also says that she didn’t question the concept of tithes and offerings, and felt “motivated and amped up” about the word of God. “It’s what you owe him,” she says of the donations.

“I didn’t have nothing to give,” she reflects, “and I was hungry.” Chrisean reveals that although she didn’t have much to offer the church, she still wanted to donate something. She explains that a man nearby gave her $5 to hand to the pastor. “This could be some McDonald’s money,” she recalled thinking about the donation. Chrisean then reveals that Dr. Freeman ended up giving her all the donations from that day’s service, later asking her what she planned to do with it.

“It was a clear understanding,” Chrisean says, beginning to get emotional. “I couldn’t explain what it was,” she describes, “It was beautiful.” Amid remembering the moment fondly, the performer says that she felt the need to give back. She pulls a fat stack of cash out of her pocket, handing it over to the pastor.

“Chrisean, what?” he asks her, in shock at the massive offering. “That’s how you gave it to me,” she says. As the pastor repeatedly asks her if she’s sure she wants to donate so much, Chrisean insists. “That’s what the lord put on my heart,” she reveals. It’s clear that the reality star has been prioritizing her faith in recent months, using it as a tool to guide her through the turbulence of her life.

6ix9ine did a pretty cool move recently. The man went down to the Dominican Republic to visit the people and give them the surprise of their lives. Seen in a video via his Instagram, as well as posted on DJ Akademiks’ Insta page, the rapper is seen hugging a bunch of crying ladies as he hands out handfuls of money to each person. He even hands a small stack of bills to a child being held by their mother. One older woman was crying and talking throughout the whole ordeal, with 6ix9ine offering her a couple of stacks and a big hug.

Later, he heads over to a group of kids. He explains to the camera that the eldest child is watching over everyone else while their mother is out working. For the first few people, he’s handing out crisp American $100 bills. For the kids, however, he hands $500k pesos to his partner in crime, internet personality Stephen Deleonardis (a.k.a. Steve WillDoIt). Steve hands the pesos to the main boy, with 6ix9ine saying it’s for them to have a better life. He talked to all of them in Spanish.

DJ Akademiks asks in his Instagram caption, “Has he successfully completed his villain arc and now turned into a hero for the [people]?” Back in the day, 6ix9ine dealt with numerous controversies and allegations. Born Daniel Hernandez, the hip-hop artist has a checkered past that involves a child sexual performance charge, a shopping mall choking incident, robbery, assault, kidnapping, shooting, and domestic violence.

He has also feuded with music industry heavy hitters, including Trippie Redd, Chief Keef, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber. However, it looks like he has turned a new leaf. Charles Barkley To Leave $5 Million To Auburn University In His Will

Charles Barkley has revealed plans to leave money in his will to Auburn University. The former pro basketball player and sports analyst says it’s his way of ensuring the Alabama university remains diverse. Auburn University is a Primarily White Institution (PWI), with enrollment of Black students falling just below 5% in 2022. Reports come after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled for Affirmative Action to be cut from college admission programs last week.

“In my will, I am leaving Auburn $5 million,” Barkley says, “I’m going to change it to be just for scholarships for Black students. That’s just my way of trying to make sure Auburn stays diverse.” Barkley attended Auburn University from 1981-1984, where he also played college basketball. He played for three seasons before being drafted by the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers as a junior.

“I love Auburn,” he says, “I’ve actually changed it to be used for kids from poor homes.” Barkley then refers to the ruling, revealing that ensuring the inclusion of Black students seems like “the right thing” for him to do. “After that ruling yesterday, my phone was blowing up,” he explained. “I was talking to my friends and said, ‘I need to make sure Black folks always have a place at Auburn. So, I’m gonna change my will and make it exclusive for Black students—all $5 million.” Barkley continued, “It’s just for me the right thing to do. I always want to make sure that Auburn’s diverse.”

The U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling is likely to have a major impact on the millions of students applying to colleges this fall. “The Court has effectively ended affirmative action in college admissions. And I strongly — strongly disagree with the Court’s decision,” President Joe Biden said following the ruling. “I believe our colleges are stronger when they are racially diverse. Our nation is stronger … because we are tapping into the full range of talent in this nation.”

Furthermore, readers may remember that Ross and Cole sat next to each other during Game 3 of the 2023 NBA Finals, and they actually chopped it up a little bit while sitting courtside. It turns out that the rapper actually respectfully declined a video idea from the streamer that involved community work because he didn’t want it to be filmed.

Beyonce Saves North London Restaurant With 10k Donation

As part of her Renaissance World Tour, Beyonce pledged to donate $1 million to various businesses and yesterday she made her most recent donation. According to the Jasmine Brand, the donation went to a Nigerian restaurant in North London which was struggling to pay rising energy costs. The restaurant, Chuku’s, opener in 2020 and struggled through the pandemic like many others. Despite managing to stay open it had clearly been a struggle for the eatery. Though they survived, mounting bills left the future of the establishment in question until Beyonce herself stepped in. Not only did they get the massive donation, but also the level of exposure that comes with it.

Beyonce made a stop on her tour in Paris on Tuesday alongside husband Jay-Z. The pair were in attendance for the debut of Pharrell’s first collection as head of Menswear at Louis Vuitton. On top of the attention she got for her flashy outfit, Bey was also going viral for a different video. A cute clip of her and fellow Destiny’s Child alum Kelly Rowland dancing perfectly in sync has gone viral in the wake of the event.

Beyonce has had a relatively quite 2023 so far musically. While she has released two songs, both of which are just remixes of tracks from her Renaissance album last year. Back in February, she released a “Wetter” version of a fan-favorite track from the album “CUFF IT.” Last month, she dropped a more substantial new remix of “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” which featured a new verse from Kendrick Lamar. While rumors have circulated about a potential Renaissance Deluxe edition, so far nothing has materialized.

Over the weekend Beyonce played a dazzling stop on her Renaissance tour which coincided with Juneteenth. To celebrate the holiday she wore outfits made exclusively by black designers for the entire night. The only problem fans took with the move was they Bey failed to tag the designers in her post about the undertaking.
