When The Neighborhood Talk shared a compilation of posts from the night on Instagram, fans praised the 24-year-old rapper. One wrote: “This is sweet. I know those students were super excited. Always good to show love to where you come from.” Another added: “Some of y’all people in the comments are so bitter it’s sad…great job young lady! The release comes as Monae is currently on tour, having recently added several more North American dates. Latto also dropped her own single, “Issa Party,” last month. Abby Lee Miller Walks Back Thirsty Comments About High Schoolers: Video

Abby Lee Miller is feeling the heat of the internet’s wrath right now, and she’s doing all that she can to clear her name. The Dance Moms star was tapped to be a guest of the Sofia with an F podcast this summer. The popular show has heard interviews with people like Amber Rose and Lil Yachty in the past. Many of them reveal deep, personal reflections about their romantic and/or sexual lives. Miller was also willing to get vulnerable with host Sofia Franklyn. Ultimately, though, her confession was deemed too inappropriate for their chat to continue.

In a clip that went viral this week, the Pennsylvania native says that her “downfall” is her love for high school football players. Specifically, Tom Cruise in 1983’s All the Right Moves was a huge fixation for Miller during her teenage years. As criticism and hate continue to come her way, the 57-year-old shared an Instagram video on Monday (September 11) attempting to walk back her thirsty comments on underage boys. “I do like those hot, athletic, muscular types of guys — the jocks. I always have, and I always will,” she declared.

What the reality starlet wanted to make clear is that she requires men who have hot bods and are “able to go out to a club, gamble in Vegas, [and] rent an ADA-compliant handicap-accessible van.” As Page Six notes, Miller now uses a wheelchair after battling cancer. It’s possible that she values strength in others, especially potential lovers, even more after losing some of her own.

Even after her attempt to clarify her initial comments on Franklyn’s podcast, the internet continues to condemn her. Abby Lee Miller has markedly been cancelled numerous times throughout her career. It’s unclear if this scandal will be enough to prevent her from finding work elsewhere in Hollywood. See the dance teacher’s awkward interview clip at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Jonathan Majors Ends Fight Between High Schoolers At In-N-Out

Jonathan Majors has been keeping a (mostly) low profile since he was accused of assaulting a woman he was romantically involved with earlier this year. Many of his Creed III and Ant-Man co-stars reportedly distanced themselves from the embattled entertainer after hearing the news. However, he and Meagan Good have struck up a romantic relationship following her divorce from DeVon Franklin. The pair has been spotted travelling together, and the 42-year-old has been incredibly supportive. She’s even been showing up to court dates on Majors’ arm throughout this stressful time.

Back in August, we found out that Meagan’s man’s trial has been delayed to September. This left them time to enjoy the last of their summer together. It’s been a relatively lowkey few weeks for the pair. Acording to a report from TMZ, Majors may be channelling his on-screen hero abilities in real life this week. On Monday (September 11), the 34-year-old broke up a fight between two female high school students at an In-N-Out Burger. Hours after, the outlet caught up with him to chat about the incident.

Jonathan Majors Speaks on In-N-Out Incident

Though Majors didn’t have any idea what might have sparked the drama, he confirmed he was simply trying to be a helpful guy. The 34-year-old made it clear that he hadn’t met the high schoolers beforehand, and that he wanted to ensure that no one got hurt. When asked what message he has for his fellow In-N-Out patrons who were getting physical, JM simply stated, “Stay cool.”

As he awaits more updates on his fate regarding his assault charges, Marvel fans were surprised to see Jonathan Majors make a brief appearance in a new trailer from the Cinematic Universe. Earlier this month, the embattled star was spotted in the Loki season two preview, and we’re curious to see just how involved he’ll be in the actual series amid the harrowing allegations he’s facing. Abby Lee Miller Says She’s Attracted To “High School Football Players”

The world of reality TV is a notoriously chaotic one, but it’s been even more so than usual recently. Cast members from Love & Hip Hop have been getting arrested or feuding left and right. Elsewhere, Cr*zy In Love co-stars Blueface and Chrisean Rock welcomed their first child together. Another series that we don’t often report on, Dance Moms, is also in the news. This comes after Abby Lee Miller, known for coaching young women into professional performers, shared a shocking confession during a recent interview.

The 57-year-old joined Sofia Franklyn on her Sofia with an F show to discuss her infamous downfall, among other topics. Unfortunately, things took a turn when Miller admitted that she still finds herself feinding feelings of attraction toward high school football players, even at her age. “Oh, that’s my downfall. I like the high school football players,” the choreographer admitted. At the time, she and the host were discussing Tom Cruise’s All the Right Moves. “I still like them,” she clarified.

A post shared by The Neighborhood Talk (@theneighborhoodtalk)

While Franklyn tried to save the situation by suggesting that perhaps Abby is interested in coaches closer to her own age, the embattled woman declared, “Not one that used to be in high school but one that is.” As any responsible journalist would, the former Call Her Daddy personality wrapped up the interview immediately, skipping out on any other questions she may have had for the Pittsburgh native.

Abby Lee Miller may not have worked out on Sofia with an F, but still, the show has had some impressive guests in the studio over the past few months. Amber Rose joined the host earlier this year to discuss a multitude of hot topics, such as her plans to remain single forever and her past relationship with Kanye West. High School Football Coach Arrested After Punching Player On Live TV

With documentaries like BS High hitting streaming platforms, there is increased scrutiny on High School football. Overall, there are some bad people associated with high school athletics. While some claim to have your child’s best interest in mind, that is not always the case. It can be extremely difficult to navigate these spaces, especially when you think about what is on the line. Although the coaches are now under more scrutiny than ever, some are still abusing their positions of power.

According to TMZ, a coach at an Atlanta high school was arrested recently after punching a player on the sidelines. The game was being televised, and consequently, the punch was caught on cameras. This match was between Mays H.S. and Douglas H.S. Subsequently after the punch, the player was in quite a bit of pain and was even clutching at his stomach. It was a horrific display that was immediately dealt with. According to Atlanta Public Schools, the coach is being investigated, as we speak. The coach will also be charged.

High School Football Under Scrutiny

“Video from the live broadcast of the game appears to show the lay coach physically assaulting a player,” APS said, according to TMZ. “The adult will be charged with simple battery and faces administrative charges from the district as well. The safety and well-being of all APS students remains a high priority for the district and all APS employees are held to the highest standard of conduct and professionalism.” Overall, it is good to see the school system acting swiftly in this instance. Otherwise, who knows what that coach could have done to another player?

This is all very distressing and we hope this is not part of a larger trend. Players have more of a platform than ever before, so hopefully, they can stop more coaches like this from getting away with abuse. Let us know what you thought of the whole situation, in the comments section above. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Yeat Allegedly Used A Young Thug Lyric As His Yearbook Quote

Yeat is one of the hottest up-and-coming rappers on the scene right now. His last three albums, 2 Alive, Lyfe, and AftërLyfe, were all top-ten hits. The latter even peaked as high as #4 on the US mainstream charts. Meanwhile, a collab with Young Thug earlier this year hit #6 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and peaked at #8 in New Zealand.

What’s more, Yeat is doing all of this at just 23 years old. He has already found massive fame and success and is likely set for a long and successful career if the trend continues. However, fans have discovered an amusing Yeat anecdote from his high school years, which is now doing the rounds on social media. First posted back in May, it appears to show a pre-existing link between Yeat and the aforementioned Young Thug.

Yeat’s Yearbook Quote Was A Young Thug Mashup

According to images shared online, Yeat’s yearbook quote is lyrics attributed to “Thugga”. Except the quote is wrong? Or at the very least, it’s not one continuous lyric. According to the image, Yeat submitted “I got hundreds on top of hunnids. That blue cheese, NOT ranch.” But this appears to a mashup of two lyrics. The first part of the quote is from “Problem”. Meanwhile, the second half of the quote is from “Homie”. The two lyrics in full are “I got hundreds sittin’ on hundreds, that blue cheese, I’m not ranchin’” and “I got blue cheese on me, all hundreds/Blue cheese no ranch.”

However, that’s not the only thing people were reacting to in the image. While most people have a very standardized yearbook photo. Meanwhile, Yeat is draped in tartan and wearing ski goggles, which is certainly a look. However, the combination of the irregular photo and the weird lyric has led many people to declare that the image is faked. Furthermore, the image has been circulating since late May, around when Yeat and Young Thug collaborated on “My Wrist”. Do you think it’s real? Let us know in the comment.

Future Opens Atlanta STEM Learning Center

According to a January 2023 report, just 20% of high school graduates are prepared for “college-level coursework in STEM majors.” STEM refers to the education and careers defined in the industry of “science, technology, engineering, and mathematics”. However, that 20% is presumably much lower in areas without sufficient or inequitable educational funding.

Legendary rapper Future was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, the Atlanta Metro area had been named one of the best areas for a STEM career. However, there is a great disparity between the corporate world and STEM education at the high school level. However, Future is now doing something to help fix the inequity at the high school level. According to a press release shared with Yahoo!, the rapper is founding the I Am A Dreamer STEM Lab at a school in Atlanta.

Future Founds STEM Lab

“It’s important that all students receive access to STEAM education regardless of their background,” the rapper said in a statement. “Our Freewishes Foundation, with the support of the 2K Foundations, has helped make this possible in our Atlanta community. We’re thankful for their commitment to support our initiative.” The Freewishes Foundation was founded about a decade ago and has been focused on helping communities in Georgia.

Furthermore, Tia Wilburn, Future’s sister and executive director of the foundation, gave additional comments. “We are creating a science technology, engineering, art, and mathematics lab as an extension of Freewishes’ educational initiative. We wanted to add art because both Future and I support creativity.” She continued, “Our objective in providing educational opportunities is to ensure inclusive and quality education for all students, regardless of income and background. There is a major gap in STEM education that impacts marginalized communities, and we want to close that gap so that no child is left behind.” Follow all the latest music and society news here at HotNewHipHop.
