Sexyy Red celebrated her birthday and went out twerking. The issue in certain social media sectors is her son, who is looking on in the moment. Red’s butt is in full view of the child, and another woman would playfully interact with him.
The reaction is split as some supported Sexyy Red, with one social media user writing: “So yall don’t dance in front of yall kids?? Yall just 2 step ok.”
You can see the moment below. What’s your take on it?

Soulja Boy is the first rapper to do a lot of things, but he certainly isn’t the first rapper to wind up in court with an ex-girlfriend. Since 2021, the Chicago native has been wrapped up in a harrowing lawsuit with a past former flame known only as Jane Doe. She claims she was beaten to the point of suffering a miscarriage at the hands of her then-boyfriend. At the time of the incident, the alleged victim was living with Soulja, real name DeAndre Cortez Way.
During a “simple conversation” the MC “quickly became irate and violent,” according to the suit. “During their conversation, (Way) began to punch (Doe) in the face and chest, until she could no longer stand on her feet.” When she fell, Soulja reportedly continued to attack and kick her in the stomach. “Soon thereafter, (Doe) suffered a miscarriage and was unable to carry her pregnancy into full-term,” court documents declare. Despite this, Doe stuck by her man, though he struck again in 2017. According to her, the 33-year-old put his hands on her for wanting to visit her grandmother, only stopping when security came in.
A judge has ruled that Doe will be awarded $10M in damages from her alleged abuser. She’s getting $5M for pain, suffering, and inconvenience, and another $5M for emotional distress. “It took her years to escape the psychological and physical grasp of her abuser,” attorney Neama Rahmani told USA Today of her client’s struggles. The same lawyer is representing another Jane Doe taking legal action against Soulja, citing experiences of sexual abuse and kidnapping.
Soulja Boy seems to have drama with virtually every woman in his life. Not only will he have to pay up millions to his ex, but another person claiming to be the “Crank That” hitmaker’s baby mama is now going viral for brutally calling him out online. Sexyy Red was one of the biggest breakout stars in all of rap last year and she’s proving she won’t slow down any time soon. She’s already had a pretty big 2024 so far, giving birth to her second child. The story of her childbirth was spun into a fictionalized version for the visuals of her Drake and SZA collaboration “Rich Baby Daddy.” The song dropped last year on Drake’s For All The Dogs and has been a stable hit in the top 40 of the Hot 100 ever since. But now she’s shifting her focus back to releasing her own new music.
She got that train started with a teaser she shared to twitter. She shared a snippet of new music alongside a video that fit the vibe perfectly. The clip she chose is a throwback video of Soulja Boy in 2008. While he’s doing some choreography to a different song in the original video, it fits perfectly with the snippet Red shared. The video has already racked up more than 22k likes as fans build up hype for her next release. The track doesn’t have a release date yet but it seems to be on the way very soon. Check out the snippet she shared below.
The music video for “Rich Baby Daddy” has spawned a full month of hilarious back and forth between Drake and Sexyy Red online. It started when Red joked that Drake should have to pay her child support. The jokes didn’t stop when Drizzy started buying her designer bags and leaning into the joke that their association was starting to get expensive. It’s probably paying off in the end though as the song has more than 260 million streams on Spotify.
What do you think of the snippet Sexyy Red shared on Twitter? Do you think it fits perfectly with the old video of Soulja Boy dancing? Let us know in the comment section below.

The Role Of His Music
Soulja Boy’s music career has been the cornerstone of his wealth. He broke onto the scene in 2007 with his debut single “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Although they did not match the phenomenal success of his debut, they have kept him in the public eye and generated steady income.

Soulja Boy has never been a lyrical wizard or storyteller throughout his career. However, that is not a bad thing. Not every rapper needs to have those qualities to deserve credit for their work. Listeners go to different artists for different things and it helps make music more diverse. What fans go to Soulja Boy for is party bangers and that is what “25 Drop” has the potential to be. The track appears on the Chicago, Illinois MC’s latest record Swag 6.
This is one of multiple mixtape series in his prolific discography. Installments three through six are available on streaming with the third dropping back in 2020. Soulja’s Swag 6 is the longest LP out of the four entries, hitting the 20-track mark. “25 Drop” kicks things off and hits you with an immediate wave of nostalgia.
“Soulja Boy Tell’em” rings throughout the first few seconds and then the beat comes in. It has a vintage video game feeling with what sounds like a xylophone looping in and out of the production. Impressively, Big Draco handles everything on this track and it pays off. The lyrics are not anything new, but again, that is not what he specializes in. “25 Drop” is all gas and it delivers a good time from beginning to end. Fans agree, flooding the music video comments with things like, “I won’t lie, I don’t know what I was expecting but I’m blown away! This s***is hard AF!”

The First To Do It is something that Soulja Boy will always live by. While he might not be the originator of every hip-hop trend, he certainly deserves a lot of credit for what he has done. It does have less to do with lyricism and more so how to market yourself in a cutthroat industry. The Chicago, Illinois native has recently been in the news for things outside of music.
Over the past month, Soulja Boy has fallen into the deadly Blueface trap. He is someone else is making headlines for everything but his material. The reason these two are tangled up with one another because Blueface claimed he could out rap Soulja in a Verzuz battle. Since then, things have escalated quickly and they continue to beef into February.
However, we do not have an update on that conflict. Today is all about Soulja’s newest project Swag 6. This is the sixth installment in the series, which began releasing onto streaming back in 2020 with the third tape. One thing all of these LPs have in common are loaded tracklists with one to no features. Unfortunately, this does not really lead to anything exciting. Still, if you want to check it out, use the links above.

Soulja Boy and Blueface’s feud, which was kind of funny when it was just about which of the two rappers has more mainstream hits, has continued long enough that we’ve reached the “death threats” portion of the program. While Blueface did try to escalate the beef to the point of physical altercation a few weeks ago (a week before Christmas, no less), it ultimately came to nothing, but it sounds like Soulja Boy is willing to take things even further.
During an Instagram Live stream, Soulja denounced the back-and-forth on the internet, inviting Blueface to a shootout instead. Blueface took the opportunity to mock his would-be rival in a Twitter response, posting a circus tent emoji and offering some baby talk.
The dramatic response may seem outsized when you consider that this all started during an interview in which the LA native suggested he could win in a Verzuz hits battle with Soulja, prompting an aggrieved comeback from the Atlanta rapper. “You gon’ perform bust down ‘Thotiana‘ five times in a row?” he taunted. “Don’t make me go into the vault and start pulling sh*t out with Bow Wow… You know how many songs I got, buddy? I got songs with Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Trey Songz, Omarion, DJ Khaled.”
The two rappers seem to like the attention they’ve been getting for this “beef,” but let’s hope that Soulja Boy ends up disappointed.
Soulja Boy is ready to put his life on the line as his beef with Blueface escalates. During an Instagram session, Soulja asked Blueface to “meet up and die.”
This beef has escalated over the possibility of a VERZUZ battle. But it is taking an unfortunate turn.
“All that Internet shit, playing back and forth,” Soulja said. “Let’s die, let’s meet up and die. Let’s die. ASAP. Let’s meet right now. Whenever you see this Live, DM me the addy. Let’s shoot it up, let’s shoot it out.”
One of Blueface’s many beefs continues. The California hitmaker and the one who claims to be the originator of every trend in hip-hop, Soulja Boy, are still trading shots. The most recent artist to make a jab was indeed the “Thotiana” writer. A couple of days ago, Blueface hopped on a remix of his lady’s hit song. His verse on Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” raised a lot of people’s eyebrows.
He also roped Offset, Cardi B, and Chrisean Rock into the lyrics. “Offset upset Cardi got the update / Soulja Boy mad he found out his b**** f****d late.” The latter refers to Blueface continuing to tease the “Crank That” songwriter that he was messing around with his baby momma before Soulja got linked. On top of that, the two even scheduled to squabble back in late December.
Predictably, it never went down, but Blueface may really be pushing things to the brink. In the video above from No Jumper‘s Instagram, the attention-seeker is stepping all over a Soulja Boy plaque. Blue was performing a show at a smaller venue recently and the video shows him walking over to it. He then proceeds to rap while stomping on it. Honestly, it is a race to see who will take Blueface on first.
What are your initial thoughts on this latest video of Blueface stepping on a Soulja Boy plague at his recent show? Do you think this will lead Soulja to respond at all, why or why not? Who will win this beef and why? Did Blueface take it a little too far? Will this be the final straw that leads to both of these guys fighting each other? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Blueface and Soulja Boy. Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the music world.
