Takeoff Death Jokes Anger Quavo And Offset Amid Latter’s Cardi B Drama

Cardi B and Offset have spent the past few years building a beautiful family together. Unfortunately for them, even their two children aren’t enough to keep the couple from fighting on the internet. This past week, the New York native was clearly in her feelings as the former Migo was bombarded with cheating allegations. Even those who are speculating that the whole situation is a publicity stunt, as we’ve seen from Cardi and her man in the past, were convinced that something more serious is going on after hearing the anguish and pain in the femcee’s voice.

“I’ve been sparing you, b**ch a** ni**a. Your b**ch a** album is s**t,” she publicly ranted to Offset. “F**king doing me dirty after so many years that I helped your motherf**king a**. Not even a f**king thank you.” As per usual, some internet users decided to take the low road. They’ve been making untasteful jokes about the father of five’s late partner in rhyme, Takeoff. This left a bad taste in both Quavo and Offset’s mouths, and they weren’t afraid to call out weirdos online stirring the pot.

Quavo Dismisses Woman’s Dirty Talk During Hilarious Blind Dating Video

From his music, you know that Quavo likes to have fun in the bedroom, but just like anyone else, he’s not always in that mood. Moreover, he recently participated in a new video titled “20 WOMEN VS 1 RAPPER,” uploaded on YouTube by Noluvmar. In it, the former Migo meets 20 random women and has to pick between them in a speed dating-like scenario. It’s a pretty hilarious video– albeit a questionable concept– that other rappers like Boosie Badazz have also done in the past. This time, though, Quay had a particularly hilarious reaction to one woman from Kentucky, Riley, who was a bit too excited to get intimate with him.

In the clip below, you can see him ask this woman some questions about what she likes to do: hobbies, interests, you know the drill. They mention Six Flags, traveling, and then out of nowhere, the woman says that she likes “f***ing and sucking d**k” for fun. “Damn, why everything is that with you?” the soon-to-be flautist asked Riley. “Besides, you know, f***ing and sucking d**k, what else?” he asked, which caused him, Noluvmar, and Riley to chuckle and giggle.

Quavo’s Hilarious Response To An Overenthusiastic Suitor: Watch

“I don’t know if I can eat at a table with her,” Quavo told the host after she walked away when her time was up. They joked about not being able to take her to your mother’s house, and you can tell by her reaction and the laughs that everyone took it in stride. Of course, we know that the Georgia trap icon’s interests are much more varied and eclectic than what many might assume. For example, he recently practiced his karate skills in Japan, adding yet another skill to his growing portfolio.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old is still having a lot of fun on the music side of things, so don’t think he’s getting distracted at all. After all, Travis Scott recently brought him out at his Miami concert to great success, hyping up the crowd and showing off some potent chemistry. So if you ever meet Huncho, just know that you don’t have to try too hard to get him excited. For more news and the latest updates on Quavo, check back in with HNHH.

Why Did Lil Yachty Have A ‘Friendly Beef’ With Migos Early In His Career?

In hip-hop’s 50 years, crews, groups, collectives, labels, or whatever you’d like to refer to them have always been around. Some of the most prevalent back in the day include Death Row, Roc-A-Fella, Cash Money, and No Limit Records. But in today’s time, the first record label to come to mind for most is Quality Control Music (or QC). But standing out against the big wigs isn’t as simple as it may seem.

The Paradigm” rapper Lil Yachty spilled the beans behind his early days on the label. His confession revealed that, at one point, there was even some pinned-up energy between him and the label’s biggest act, Migos. So, why did Lil Yachty have a ‘friendly beef’ with Migos early in his career?

Yesterday (December 14), on his podcast, A Safe Place, while chatting with QC’s founders Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas, Yachty recounted the brotherly tension. “Quavo used to be so mean to me! It became like a friendly beef. It was like this thing of battling with me against all three Migos when it came to cars, when it came to jewelry, when it came to women, when it came to clothes, everything,” said Yachty.

He continued, “When Quavo got a new chain, I had to get a new chain. Offset got a new chain, I get a new chain. Takeoff get a new watch, I would go and get a new watch. I used to always feel like everyone was trying to little bro me. At first, they thought I was weird as sh*t. They was like, ‘This n**** is weird as f*ck.’”

Eventually, the two became close friends after Yachty was able to make it through that haze-like period.

Watch the full interview above.

Lil Yachty Opens Up On First Signing To Quality Control, Feeling Competitive With Migos

Lil Yachty doesn’t face some of the same standards and expectations as other rappers. He’s always positioned himself as an outside-the-box artist and never taken himself too seriously. But even Yachty faced some old-school hip-hop competitive rivalries when he first joined Quality Control Music. During a recent appearance on the Safe Space podcast, Yachty spoke on his early days with the label including a friendly beef that developed between him and Migos.

Quavo used to be so mean to me! It became like a friendly beef. It was like this thing of battling with me against all three Migos when it came to cars, when it came to jewelry, when it came to women, when it came to clothes, everything. Quavo got a new chain, I had to get a new chain. Offset got a new chain, I get a new chain. Takeoff get a new watch, I would go and get a new watch, Yachty revealed in the interview. He also revealed how much he felt like an outsider at first. “I used to always feel like everyone was trying to little bro me. At first, they thought I was weird as sh*t. They was like, ‘This n*gga is weird as f*ck.’” Check out the entire interview below.

Lil Yachty’s Friendly Beef With Migos

Earlier this year, Lil Yachty shocked rap fans online with his new album Let’s Start Here. The project was an experiment into psychedelic rock that pulled heavy inspiration from some of the greats of the genre. While fans were divided on the project it received quite a bit of praise from critics almost across the board. After returning to rap for a series of singles released earlier this year, Yachty recently dove back into the world of rock with his song “The Paradigm” for the new Netflix film Leave The World Behind.

But for rap fans, Yachty was sure to let them know he had more conventional hip-hop material on the way soon. He shared two snippets of unreleased music last month that kept fans in anticipation for when his next rap project drops. What do you think of Lil Yachty’s new revelations about his early days at Quality Control? Let us know in the comment section below.

What Is Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s Rumored ‘Vultures’ Tracklist?

Information and rumors about Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s forthcoming joint album, Vultures, are slowly leaking out. Ty Dolla Sign posted the tracklist last weekend, and Ye held a relatively lowkey listening party in Miami early Tuesday morning, December 12, as per Billboard.

Below is what you need to know.

What Is Kanye West And Ty Dolla Sign’s Rumored Vultures Tracklist?

Ty Dolla Sign already posted purported song titles on Instagram, but the Apple Music pre-save page for Vultures confirms the tracklist, as seen below. The features are based upon the livestream of Ye’s Vultures preview event (as captured by Complex).

1. “Everybody” Feat. Charlie Wilson, Lil Baby
2. “Back To Me” Feat. Freddie Gibbs, Offset, Quavo
3. “Fuk Sumn” Feat. Playboi Carti, Quavo
4. “Time Moving Slow”
5. “Beg Forgiveness” Feat. Charlie Brown
6. “So Good”
7. “Paid” Feat. Future
8. “Timbo Freestyle”
9. “Slide”
10. “New Body” Feat. Nicki Minaj
11. “Promotion”
12. “Vultures” Feat. Bump J, Lil Durk
13. “Lifestyle”
14. “Drunk” Feat. Bad Bunny, Kodak Black
15. “Worship”
16. “River” Feat. Young Thug
17. “Gun To My Head”
18. “Unlock”

When Does Vultures Come Out?

The UK’s Independent relayed that the album is due out this Friday, December 15, citing that West confirmed the date during his Miami rave. If and when Vultures is released, it will mark Ye’s first traditional album release since Donda in August 2021. (Although, I guess it is presumptuous to assume anything about Vultures will be traditionally executed.) He dropped Donda 2 in February 2022, but it was a clunky rollout, to say the least. The 16-song album was only available in its full form via his Stem Player platform.

Freddie Gibbs and Young Thug are Warner Music artists. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Takeoff Shirt Catches Quavo’s Eye In Japan, Fan Immediately Removes & Gives It To Rapper

It’s now been over a year since the untimely death of Takeoff, but still, the loss weighs heavy on the hip-hop community. In particular, Quavo continues to grieve his partner-in-rhyme’s passing daily, though he wears his pain well. Due to the mass impact the uncle and nephew duo had in the Migos alongside Offset, the “WORKIN’ ME” hitmaker continues to see reminders of Take everywhere that he looks for them. During a recent trip to Japan, Q happened to cross paths with a group of fans – one of them wearing a fresh shirt with the Rocket Man’s face all over it.

Obviously loving the representation, the Atlanta native praised his new friend for his fit before asking if he could keep the shirt for himself. “Ohhh, let me see that shirt boy!” a voice behind the camera yells in the video below. “Yea boy, you got that motherf**ker on! Ooo, that shirt hard! Where’d you get this?” he excitedly asks. “Lemme get one, please! Can I have it?” Quavo continues while recording the Japanese local, who can hardly believe the interaction he’s having.

Takeoff and Quavo are Big in Japan

“You?!” he replies, seemingly in shock that one of his favourite rappers is jacking his swag. The Takeoff fan looked happy enough to just be crossing paths with Q, but ever the gentleman, he couldn’t leave without offering some money. Much to viewers’ surprise, all the kind soul wanted was a replacement top to put on for his night out. As reactions pour in on social media, some are suggesting that it was Takeoff checking in on his uncle from the after life, reminding Quavo that they’re always together in spirit.

As for the third member of the Migos, Offset, he’s also been in the news lately for reasons related to his fallen friend. When asked why he didn’t include a Takeoff tribute on his recent album, the lyricist had a poignant explanation that respects both his art and the Rocket Man’s legacy. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Surviving Migos Members Quavo And Offset Posted Emotional Tributes To Their Late Bandmate Takeoff A Year After His Death

Yesterday marked one year since the death of Takeoff in a bowling alley shooting. His surviving Migos bandmates, Quavo and Offset, both posted emotional tributes to him on social media for the anniversary, mourning his untimely death and vowing to carry on his legacy.

“Can’t forget it won’t Forget It NEVER Forget it” Quavo wrote alongside a rocket emoji. The rocket was a favorite motif for Takeoff, who named his one and only solo album The Last Rocket. Quavo titled his latest solo release Rocket Power as a tribute to Takeoff as well.

Meanwhile, Offset posted a video compilation of Takeoff moments set to a fan mashup of Takeoff’s verse from “Last Memory” with Floetry’s “Say Yes” beat. The caption reads, “The times we spent is priceless what we built in this game they never wanted to give us our flowers we influenced the world…I Love you Take you still here with us I just know you are!!!! Migo 4Life!!!!!!”

In May this year, the man accused of shooting and killing Takeoff was formally charged with murder. Meanwhile, Quavo and Offset reunited at the BET Awards after spending the past two years throwing veiled insults at each other. Quavo also insinuated that a posthumous Takeoff album is in the works.
