Nicki Minaj Unleashes Megan Thee Stallion Diss Track “Big Foot”: Stream

After a weekend of social media warfare, various Instagram Live shots, Twitter tirades, and a whole lot more, Nicki Minaj’s diss track aimed at Megan Thee Stallion, “Big Foot,” is finally here. If you’re just catching up on this story, here’s the gist of it. Megan dropped her single “HISS” last week, which contained a not-so-subliminal dig at her fellow femcee, plus plenty of other names. After folks reacted wildly to it online, Nicki came through with some responses on social media: some typed, others spoke, but none recorded or rapped as bars. Now, we finally have the response cut, and all that’s left to do is see whether the Houston MC will respond in kind.

On that last note, up until this point, Megan Thee Stallion’s been content to ignore the hullabaloo for now and enjoy the success of “HISS.” But these new bars from Nicki Minaj, taking aim at her skill level, the Tory Lanez case, and her inner circle, might inspire the “Cobra” to leave the cave. As far as the instrumental, it’s classic Barbz fare, with the energy and bombast that you would expect to contain and highlight such a powerful personality. However, “Big Foot” isn’t perfect (no diss song is, and that’s what makes them compelling), and fans will likely debate its worth until the next one drops. While it’s sad to see two females clash in a male-driven world that’s profiting off their beef, we can’t pretend like this competitiveness and foot-on-necks attitude isn’t exciting, compelling, and commendable.

Regardless, the “WAP” hitmaker has plenty of proven talent, supporters, and fire to bite back hard, so we’re excited to see the showdown as long as the bars are good. If it’s just for social media, why bother? But enough about us: what did you think of Nicki Minaj’s new Megan Thee Stallion diss track “Big Foot” and the shots fired here, both spoken-word and with raps? Chance The Rapper Delivers New Single “I Will Be Your” Dedicated To Black Star Line Festival: Stream

Chance The Rapper is gearing up to drop Star Line Gallery in spring of 2024, fans believe, and this new track “I Will Be Your” is a great indicator of that. Moreover, the song is dedicated to his Black Star Line Festival in Ghana, and as such, themes of community, perseverance, support, and hope in the face of adversity are very present. It makes for one of the Chicago rapper’s most emotionally resonant singles in his post-The Big Day run, although these other cuts did not have a lack of meaning. Instead, this song amplifies it with a light-hearted tone, both delivery-wise and production-wise, even if its artist is speaking on large issues. What’s important is that he tackles them with the care and levity with which you’d speak to a family member.

Furthermore, a soulful sample provides the bed in which Chance The Rapper lyrically lays, proclaiming that “I will be your everything.” By cutting out the last word, he switches between being different roles for a loved one, all of which communicate the idea of him as a leader. Think what you will of the “Writing Exercise #5” MC’s last project, but don’t doubt that he has this capacity. Sure, some may read this as a little too savior-complexed, but we’d be lying if we said that it wasn’t an inspiring sonic pallet. Lyrically, he’s colorful, charismatic, clever, and seems very focused on building a lively and comforting narrative.

SleazyWorld Go Unleashes On His Enemies On New Single “32 Bars”

SleazyWorld Go had a massively successful year in 2023, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Following the 2022 release of his album Where The Shooters Be, the Michigan-born performer unveiled various singles. He unleashed “Got Me Hot” back in September, and later came through with “Major Leagues” just ahead of the new year.

He even shared a romantic track called “With My Boo” a few months ago, which would surely make a great addition to listeners’ Valentine’s Day playlists. Earlier this week, he dropped off yet another single. This time, he’s gone back to his roots to diss his ops on “32 Bars.”

SleazyWorld Go – “32 Bars”

The track sees SleazyWorld Go spit menacing bars about taking down the competition over a simple lively beat. So far, his boastful rhymes have listeners impressed, and they seem to want to hear more. His comments section is flooded with demands for him to drop another full-length project, though it remains unclear if or when he plans to do so.

He did recently hop on Instagram to tease an accompanying music video for “32 Bars,” however. He shared a short black-and-white clip from what appears to be the music video, telling fans to let him know if they want to see the rest. “Yall want the music video to this ? Lmk and ima let this mf fly,” he wrote. What do you think of SleazyWorld Go’s new track? Will you be adding “32 Bars” to your playlist? Chuck Strangers & The Alchemist Get “Ski’d Up” On New Single: Stream

Pro Era’s own Chuck Strangers is gearing up for a new album very soon. Moreover, his next project A Forsaken Lover’s Plea is set to drop on March 15 of this year via Lex Records, and we already have some singles to tease how great this LP will likely come out. This newest one, “Ski’d Up,” sees the Too Afraid To Dance MC pontificating on family over a buttery smooth beat from none other than The Alchemist. Overall, it’s exactly the kind of reflective, measured, and grounded boom-bap that the Joey Bada$$ fronted Pro Era collective burst onto the scene with over a decade ago. Fortunately, the rapper proves that it’s still as captivating as ever.

Furthermore, that’s largely due to Uncle Al’s simple but ridiculously effective beat here, which is a bit more calm and woozy than Chuck Strangers’ usual output. For example, the woodwind loop here is an ethereal and meditative melody for the “Regular Season” artist to flow over, and one that lends itself well to spontaneous and focused flow switches. In addition, The Alchemist’s percussive treatment slightly mutes the kick and snare to make them small details which still loom large over such a minimalist beat. As the Brooklyn lyricist delves deeper into family relationships, his day-to-day, and his motivation to keep finding success, subtle pads and echoes give “Ski’d Up” more atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the California beatsmith has works of his own to look forward to and celebrate, such as his Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine collab tape Hall & Nash 2 and his (presumably) upcoming link-up with Kid Cudi. As we wait for A Forsaken Lover’s Plea, we can’t imagine Chuck Strangers failing to engage listeners with his rhymes and perspective. As such, we’re glad “Ski’d Up” points in that direction. Nicki Minaj Announces New Single, “Bigfoot”

Nicki Minaj has announced the release of a new single, “Bigfoot”. The track will drop at 3 PM PST on January 28, according to a tweet from Minaj herself. Furthermore, Minaj announced the track with the inclusion of an image of Megan Thee Stallion looking unimpressed. For many fans, this signaled that the track could be a direct musical response to Megan’s recently released “Hiss”.

The beef between the two rappers absolutely exploded this week after Megan’s new track took shots at Nicki. Specifically, Megan took aim at the various connections to sex offenders that Minaj has in her life. The line “Megan’s Law” in “Hiss” refers to the sex offender registry law that Minaj’s husband fell afoul of. Kenneth Petty, who was a childhood friend of Minaj’s, served four years in prison for the attempted rape of a minor. Minaj’s response has mostly been limited to Twitter until the surprise track announcement.

Fans Discuss Problematic Nature Of Nicki Minaj Alter Ego

However, the beef has proven divisive among rap fans. While some believe that Megan went too far, others are starting to see a disturbing trend for Minaj. The beef led some fans to take a closer look at “Roman Zolanski”, the alter ego that Minaj occasionally drops verses as. However, many fans are now only learning for the first time that Minaj has never shied from Roman’s name being a play on that of Roman Polanski. Polanski is an Oscar-winning director who is perhaps best known for pleading guilty to statutory rape of a minor. The girl was 13 at the time of the rape and had also been drugged by Polanski.

Nicki has already dipped into the Roman well at least once during this beef with Megan. “Megan’s law. For a free beat you could hit #MeganRAW,” Minaj tweeted late Friday night. Furthermore, the tweet was signed “Roman”. While the tweet could be taken several ways, one popular theory is that it refers to rumors about Megan’s ex, Pardison Fontaine. As noted on Megan’s late 2023 track “Cobra”, she allegedly walked in on her ex having unprotected sex with another woman in her bed.

Offset’s Baby Shark Voice Acting Leaves Fans Stunned

Elsewhere, Offset closed out 2023 by surprising some fans with his voice acting ability. Offset, Cardi B, and their children appeared in the children’s animated show, Baby Shark’s Big Show. The famous family appeared as shark versions of themselves – namely “Sharki B” and “Offshark”. In their brief cameo, the couple (and their kids) are chilling in their green room when their security catches protagonist Brooklyn “Baby” Shark (Kimiko Glenn) trying to sneak in.

However, the famous couple’s voice-acting skills are under scrutiny. While some fans have praised Offset, others found his line delivery stilted and awkward. “Idk why but when he was in NCIS, I always thought the delivery of this line was funny lol,” one commenter replied, including a clip of Offset’s awkward line delivery from the long-running police procedural. Check out the clip below and let us know what you think of Offset’s performance.

Lil Yachty And YUNGBLUD Work Perfectly On First Song Together With “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)”

“Tonight worlds collide… it sounds like heaven. Close yer eyes n get soaked in it.” Those were the words of English multi-hyphenate singer YUNGBLUD on a recent Instagram post. He and Georgia rapper Lil Yachty flicked up together to announce their first-ever collaboration together. The new track is called “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?).”

For YUNGBLUD, this is his first offering since October 17, 2023, when he came through with “Happier.” It was part of a trio of tracks he put out that year with the other two being “Hated” and “Lowlife.” For Lil Yachty, this just continues his incredible run as of late. Listen To “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)” By YUNGBLUD & Lil Yachty

He took a pretty big jump to the psychedelic rock space with his Let’s Start Here. record back in January 2023. That venture has opened so many doors for him as it allows Lil Boat to make an easier transition to other styles of production. “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?)” is a perfect example of that. It is a gorgeous piece of rock/alternative that you will get lost in but in a good way. Yachty whips out the “Poland” vocals and they match beautifully with everything going on.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “When We Die (Can We Still Get High?),” by YUNGBLUD and Lil Yachty? Is this a duo you need to hear more from, why or why not? SiR Brings All The Soul On “No Evil”

Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) may be the best label in all of hip-hop/R&B. However, they are also the most elusive collective as well. For example, ScHoolboy Q has not dropped an album since 2019. Up until 2022, we had not heard from Ab-Soul in six years. Kendrick Lamar waited five years before returning in 2022 with Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. SiR is part of that bunch as well.

For the Inglewood, California singer, it has been nearly four years since we got his last full-length record, Chasing Summer. But, that drought appears to be coming to an end for SiR as well. Just about 24 hours ago, the 37-year-old announced that his next project is done and that he will be going on tour. In that same message, he revealed that a new song would be dropping.

That track is “No Evil” and it is a fantastic listen all throughout. SiR delivers some high-pitched and growling vocals that have that soulful feel. Taylor Hill handles the production with ease and works in some groovy guitars and heavy bass. It all comes together so well and that stank face will show up on your face, we promise you that. Your going to want to add this to your rotation and it will be on repeat.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “No Evil,” by SiR? Where would rank this amongst the rest of his discography and why? Are you excited for his upcoming album? Ice Spice Hits The 305 For “Think U The S**t (Fart)”: Watch The Music Video

Ice Spice’s new single “Think U The S**t (Fart)” was turning listeners up before it ever officially dropped, so what better way to solidify that splash with some visuals in the 305? Moreover, she just dropped her official music video for the song, featuring the Bronx rapper and her entourage (including producer RIOTUSA) in Miami. They ride jet skis, party with locals, ride around in expensive cars, hit up some delis and small stores, and of course, shake it for the cam’. It’s overall a really fun watch that sees her enjoying herself just as much as fans are as they take a look. Few music videos can ever really reach that connection, so props to Spice and the whole cabinet for prioritizing a good time.

While these folks were up in South Beach, some fans think that this new track will send shockwaves deep within Atlanta. Sadly, no femcee’s success is complete without fanbases, media, and competitive spirits consistently pitting them against one of their peers. Folks think that Ice Spice sent a not-so-subliminal shot at Latto on “Think U The S**t (Fart),” who sparked beef rumors in the past. “I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up, she all on the floor, told her get up,” she raps on the cut, an apparent reference to the 777 hitmaker’s “Put It On Da Floor.”

Ice Spice’s “Think U The S**t (Fart)” Music Video: Watch

Regardless of whether there’s any real basis there, perhaps this fiery and combative spirit is something needed in hip-hop right now, even if they might base things on personal matters rather than actual skill. Nevertheless, it’s not the only aspect of the 24-year-old’s life that folks are clawing to get a glimpse into. Her upcoming Super Bowl commercial might reveal her ex, teases suggest, but don’t keep your hopes too high. Still, as Ice Spice enters what will probably be another big year for her, we’re sure that we will get other peeps behind the curtain.

Meanwhile, if complete secrecy keeps pumping out hits like “Think U The S**t (Fart),” then we’re happy to stay in the dark. If nothing else, hopefully people stay most interested in the art for their own personal sake -– and for Ice Spice’s. We’re sure she doesn’t plan on having to address pregnancy rumors just for the whims of the Internet. Check out the music video above and stay posted on HNHH for more great music drops around the clock.

However, nothing has been confirmed by SpaceGhostPurrp. The track we have in front of us could very well be a throwaway or some sort of demo.
