There is a large crowd out there that believes Lil Yachty is on a quote-unquote “generational run right now.” While that may be hard to believe for some, it is kind of hard to argue against that at this moment in time. The Georgia multi-hyphenate’s tear began in January of last year when he released Let’s Start Here. We talk about it a lot here on the site, but it is difficult not to when the album is so out of left field. Not only that, but it mainly stuck the landing.

Yachty’s psychedelic rock record is arguably his best work ever. Because of that, it seems he is more motivated than ever before. He was always consistent when it came to releasing music, but not with this level of aptitude. Lil Boat’s 2024 has been great so far as well, crossing over between genres. He is building on it with “A COLD SUNDAY.”

What is impressive about this 1:47-long track, is the lyrical prowess Yachty is displaying. It has similar vibes to his and J. The new Lyrical Lemonade album All Is Yellow is finally out, and to name highlights off of it would be a much longer article than needed. Still, there is one track in particular that its team, artists, and fans seemed to take a liking to in particular: Chief Keef and Lil Yachty’s “Say Ya Grace.” Moreover, as expected from a creative like Cole Bennet, its visual treatment is pretty stunning from a technical standpoint, even if it’s not the flashiest of most complex presentation on paper. Some yellow tarps, filter effects, simple outfits, and cameos from Denzel Curry, G Herbo, and Big Sean make this a compelling package.

But all this is unsurprising if you’ve been following All Is Yellow‘s rollout, which contained no shortage of bangers as both singles and music videos. Take for example “Doomsday” with Juice WRLD and Cordae, which is a refreshing spin on old ideas in both lanes. For what it’s worth, Lil Yachty and Chief Keef still come through with a lot of charisma and personality in the video despite their simple set-up. Seeing MCs bring life to ad-libs and contrast their recording delivery is always a really fun part of visuals, and they don’t disappoint here.

Furthermore, while it’s Chief Keef’s only appearance on All Is Yellow, Lil Yachty also appears on the cut “Fallout” with Joey Bada$$ and Gus Dapperton. Back to “Say Ya Grace,” though, it’s a Sosa-produced cut that pairs an ethereal sample with icy drum patterns, and the two rappers provide all the energy necessary to take it over the top. Their vocal chemistry is potent here, and though we would’ve loved to hear more trade-offs, their matching tones are enough to satisfy. Hopefully it’s not the only collab that the two have in store.

Meanwhile, with other bangers like “Stop Giving Me Advice” from Dave and Jack Harlow, we’re excited to see how All Is Yellow ages throughout 2024. Travis Scott’s explorative fourth studio album UTOPIA was bound to be a major success when it dropped. It has become just that. Everything from the rich soundscapes, standout features, and sales numbers, to the theatrical tour, Scott made sure to give the fans what they had been yearning for. Another draw of the record is the performances by La Flame himself. There are a lot of great ones to choose from, but “I KNOW ?” is arguably the best of the bunch.

The Houston, Texas multi-hyphenate brought a mysterious and alluring quality to the track. From the hypnotic and eerie piano instrumental, to the storytelling, along with the melodic mastery, there is nothing to nitpick. Scott details his druggy utopia that he feels safe in but also acknowledges how twisted it is. On top of that, there is a theme of betrayal on his part. He is entangled with two women at once.

Travis illustrates that in the visuals that have just dropped moments ago. Directed by himself and Dave Meyers, the superstar rapper plays out scenes with supermodels Emily Ratajkowski and Anok Yai. There are some simple but effective shots, especially when he and Emily’s faces mesh together. The story comes full circle at the end when Travis drives back to his house and the shots go back and forth between Anok and Emily as to who he is living with. It adds nicely to the hallucinogenic feelings he is dealing with.

21 Savage is taking the music world by storm with his brand-new album american dream. It has been a long time coming for the UK-bred rap superstar. The last time we got a new project from him was back in December of 2018 with i am > i was. Fans are really enjoying what he is bringing to the record. While it is not a change-up from his signature murderous style, 21 has seemingly taken it to new and exciting heights. It might be a bold take for how fresh this is in our minds, but this may be Savage’s best performance ever. “redrum” features a killer beat (pun intended) from London on da Track. It effortlessly weaves in a sample of “Serenata do Adeus,” which is a famous piece by Brazilian composer composer Vinícius de Moraes. According to fans, hundreds of singers have redone this classic. The one singing is Elizeth Cardoso or Elza Laranjeira. Regardless of who it is it sounds fantastic and haunting.

But the dual single and music video also serves a dual purporse. The Colombian-Virginian singer announced that she is pregnant with her first child, whose father is her boo Don Toliver, and we and the rest of fans couldn’t be more excited for them.

Furthermore, this is exactly the narrative that the “Tu Corazón Es Mío / Diosa” music video portrays. For example, the couple cooks some eggs and other foods together in their opulent house, and it also features home recording footage of the two stars growing up. Travis Scott, Rob49, & 21 Savage Deliver Borderline NSFW “Topia Twins” Music Video

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in the entire world at this point. Overall, he is someone who is always pushing his sound forward, and that was more than evident with UTOPIA. Although it is an album that has proven to be a bit polarizing, there are a lot of fans who love it. In fact, some would argue that this was the best album of 2023. Critics would have something to say about that, however, Travis does not care. He is doing his thing and the fans continue to support it.

There have only been a couple of music videos for this album so far. He has the Circus Maximus movie, however, it only encompasses a couple of the songs. Now, however, he has come through with the music video for the track TOPIA TWINS. This is one of the best collaborations on the project and it features Rob49 as well as 21 Savage. It is a high-octane song with some pretty raunchy lyrics. It is a truly fantastic track, and this music video is one that will have you changing tabs if your mom walks in the room.
