2 Chainz and NE-YO Announces as Guest Stars on Season 3 of ‘BMF’

2 Chainz and NE-YO Announces as Guest Stars on Season 3 of 'BMF'

2 Chainz (The Enforcer) and NE-YO (Dance Monsters, Hip-Hop Family Christmas Wedding), both multi-hyphenate Grammy Award winners, have joined the third season of STARZ’s popular drama series BMF in recurring roles. The two join the series’ impressive run of guest stars, including Eminem, Serayah, Caresha “Yung Miami” Brownlee and Snoop Dogg.

In his role as “Stacks,” 2 Chainz will portray an Atlanta native and distributor whose presence and wisdom command respect wherever he goes. Stacks, who adheres to the street code and is fiercely loyal and committed to supporting his family at all costs, questions Meech’s management style. “Rodney “Greeny” Green,” an Atlanta-based player who is all about making the bag, will be played by NE-YO. There is more to Greeny than what first meets the eye. He exudes confidence and an enterprising attitude.

“BMF” is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through his G-Unit film and television, alongside showrunner, executive producer, writer and Detroit native Randy Huggins, and interim showrunner and executive producer Heather Zuhlke.

2 Chainz & Ne-Yo Join The Cast Of 50 Cent’s “BMF”

50 Cent’s empire is expanding. Though things with Starz seemingly fell through, despite shows like Power and BMF generating massive revenue for the network, Fif hasn’t allowed this minor setback to impact his goals as a television mogul. The new season of Power Book II: Ghost is expected to debut next month while fans are at the edge of their seats to find out what happens next with the Flenory brothers and the Black Mafia Family empire during this season.

Though the cast of Power and BMF have traded shots at each other over the past few weeks, each has cemented its places on television must-watch lists. While the second season of BMF might be coming to an end soon, it’s apparent that the demand is high. STARZ recently renewed the show for a third season, which will likely debut next year. Already, 50 Cent began plotting out how he’ll expand the cast further and it seems he has some more star power to back it up.

2 Chainz & Ne-Yo Will Join The “BMF” Cast In Season 3

Over the years, we’ve seen how 50 Cent included many of hip-hop’s favorites in his television world. Kendrick Lamar appeared in the original Power series, Method Man and Mary J. Blige have roles in Power Book II, and Kash Doll has held it down on BMF as Monique. However, it appears that BMF will get even more star power in the near future with the inclusion of 2 Chainz and Ne-Yo. 50 Cent hit Instagram where he confirmed both artists will appear on BMF season 3.

According to Variety, 2 Chainz will take on the role of an Atlanta-born distributor named Stacks. “Fiercely loyal and determined to provide for his family no matter the cost, Stacks lives by the street code and challenges Meech’s leadership style,” Starz described Chainz’s role. Ne-Yo will also play the role of a local Atlanta hustler named Rodney “Greeny” Green whose primary focus is making money, though he’ll unveil layers to his character throughout the season. We’ll see how this all pans out in the next season but we’re certainly excited to see how they shape up to be on screen.

Ne-Yo’s Baby Mama Speaks On Getting Pregnant During His Marriage

Ne-Yo has written some beautiful love songs throughout his career, but that doesn’t mean they’re inspired by his romantic life. Unfortunately for the R&B artist, the last year has been a tough one for his personal relationships. Last August, his wife, Crystal Renay filed for divorce from the vocalist. At the time, she claimed he welcomed a child with another woman.

Those allegations have proven to be true in recent months. While he and his ex were able to finalize their separation a few days ago, the other woman in his life is venting her frustrations about the situation on social media. In a recent upload, she reflected on the pain of finding herself pregnant with Ne-Yo’s baby while he was married to someone else.

Recently, @itsbigsade shared maternity photos on her feed, along with a lengthy message airing out her feelings. “Angel of mine,” she began. “Coming to terms with the delicate circumstances. When I felt like I just couldn’t take on another load, especially at the expense of another person’s happiness… Sometimes even my own… Wasn’t the easiest decision.”

“However, I have to choose me,” the expecting mother went on. “Therefore, I have to choose you. The JOY Braiden gives me every day strengthened me and let me know I can do this gracefully.” She adds that her intention is to go through pregnancy with “love, compassion, and penitence” for her wrongdoing.

In conclusion, Sade says she’s patiently waiting for her little one’s arrival and is ready for the journey they’ll go on together. Additionally, she acknowledged that plenty of lessons and blessings lay ahead for them both. “I can’t wait to meet you my buttercup!! xoxo MOMMY.”

At this time, it remains unclear if Ne-Yo plans to play an active role in his new child’s life. However, the expecting father has been using his new status as a single man to get up close and personal with some fans. Ne-Yo’s Soon-To-Be Ex Wife Speaks Out, Says no Chance of Reconciliation

Ne Yo

Ne-Yo’s marriage appears to be close to officially over. After accusing the “So Sick” singer of cheating last month and filing for divorce, his soon-to-be ex wife, Crystal Renay, briefly addressed the situation, saying that the two will not be getting back together.

Video footage shows a TMZ reporter approaching Renay as she exits LAX and asking her “what are the chances that you and Ne-Yo can work it out?”

She quickly responds, “there are no chances. God is good.”

The reporter continues to press, asking her if she is sure and she responds that “we’re moving on to better lives” and adding that “certain things can’t be forgiven, but God will forgive and so will I.”

When asked if she was going to start dating again, Renay shrugs and says “only God knows.”

Renay filed for divorce after claiming that Ne-Yo fathered a child with another woman. Paperwork filed in Atlanta cites that the couple’s marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation.” Renay and Ne-Yo have three children of their own: Isabella Rose, 14-months, Roman-Alexander Raj, 4 years, and Shaffer Chimere Jr., 6 years.

While some might find the reporter’s questions odd, it would not be the first time the couple has filed for divorce only to reconcile later. After getting married in 2016, Renay filed for divorce in 2020, but withdrew the filing. They then had a “second wedding” celebration in 2022.

So far there has been no word on the mystery woman or baby that Ne-Yo allegedly fathered.
