Summer has yet to officially begin, but already, June has graced us with plenty of great music, sunshine, and social media content from our favourite stars. Ever since the City Girls, Diddy, and Fabolous came together to release their “Act Bad” single, that’s the exact theme we’ve been seeing across Instagram and TikTok, with several stars already strutting along to the club banger while showing off their curves and designer looks. Though she didn’t reference the song in her latest post, it’s obvious Ari Fletcher got Sean Combs’ memo about the vibes for summer from the salacious and flirtatious nature of her carousel.

She didn’t hold back at all in the first photo, showing off her toned and right body while posing in a golden bikini on all fours. In an attempt to turn down the heat, water droplets fall down on top of Fletcher, who’s rocking smokey makeup. She then shared a snap with her boyfriend Moneybag Yo, wrapping herself around his thigh as he’s sprawled out on the couch. That could obviously only be followed by a video teasing the mother of one’s twerking skills, which she proudly showed off during a night out with friends.

Her photo dump carried on with a look at some flashy ice on her wrist and finger, and what appears to be a vacation snapshot of the YouTuber grabbing her booty in a bright, beautiful skirt. Her and G Herbo’s young son, Yosohn, makes an appearance near the end as they dance in the mirror together, though the juiciest part of the whole upload was definitely her texts from Bagg on the final slide. “Wyd? I’m landing,” he wrote to her recently.

“Just go out of the shower. I’m leaving out in like 45min tho,” the black-haired beauty texted him back. In response, her man practically begged her to wait around for his arrival, and to “stay naked.” They may have plenty of flirtatious fun on social media, but that doesn’t mean Ari Fletcher and Moneybagg Yo are without issues. While appearing on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast at the start of June, the Memphis native admitted to cheating on his partner. Keke Palmer Alleges Discrimination At Airport Over Breast Milk

Any mother out there knows that pumping breast milk for your child can be an arduous task, and one that airport security seems to have little regard for according to Keke Palmer. Moreover, the entertainer recently claimed on Twitter that she was a victim of “breast milk discrimination” at a Houston airport. According to TSA regulations and what we know of her testimony, it seems that the issue arose from the amount of breast milk permitted in carry-on baggage. Currently, quantities greater than 100 milliliters can pass through carry-ons just fine, yet she faced some pushback at the screening.

“Breast milk discrimination at the Houston airport ruined my mood,” Keke Palmer shared. “I should’ve popped my tit out right then because the discretion and comfort of pumping is thwarted with threats to throw out over 16oz my babies food?!?!!! Why is that not a crime?? I’M A MOTHER for crying out loud,” she concluded with some crying emojis. For those unaware, Palmer just recently became a mother, giving birth to her son with Darius Jackson, Leodis, back in February of this year.

Keke Palmer Calls Out Airport For Almost Making Her Throw Out Breast Milk

In other news, the 29-year-old recently released her first album in over a decade, Big Boss, which is also a visual album and her directorial debut. One of the many themes discussed on the album is the issue of sexual assault, abuse, and violent culture in the music industry, which she expanded on in an interview with People magazine. “We know bad things happen in all of them, but it’s almost like the acting world represents a union and the music industry represents non-union,” Keke Palmer remarked. “It’s happening in the actor world but eventually, it’s going to come to a damn halt. Somebody’s going to get called out. Something’s going to happen. At some point, we’re going to come to some kind of understanding.

“With music, it’s like everybody is being paid, and everybody’s a crooked cop,” she continued. “So, it seems like nothing will ever really come to a head. It almost feels like it’s a coming-of-age story for a woman. Being a woman is like, ‘Damn, the biggest mistake you can make is trusting somebody.’ Damn, I just shouldn’t have trusted someone? Lil Yachty Will Answer Fan Questions & Give Advice On His New Podcast

Georgia-born rhymer Lil Yachty was just 18 years old when he blew up thanks to SoundCloud in 2016. In the years since, he’s delivered projects like Teenage Emotions, Nuthin’ 2 Prove, and most recently, the experimental Let’s Start Here. Lil Boat’s talent has also allowed him to forge close friendships with huge figures such as Drake, who’s never been one to shy away from giving his young pal his flowers. Earlier this month, the pair linked up to do a Stake live stream together via Kick.

While the Canadian kept us laughing with his painted nails and declined credit card, fans were obviously happy to have Yachty in the vicinity too. It remains unclear if the heads at Kick followed through with Drizzy’s idea of signing the “Broccoli” hitmaker to their platform. Nevertheless, Yachty is obviously feeling inspired as he announced via his Instagram Story earlier this week that his first-ever podcast episode will be dropping soon. Rather than using his platform to discuss topics of his own choosing, the 25-year-old is eager to give fans an opportunity to connect with him on the show.

YNW Melly Requests Prayers Ahead Of Double-Murder Trial Day 2

YNW Melly looked pleased to finally be in court for his double-murder trial yesterday (June 12). Years after surrendering himself to authorities in 2019, the Florida native is now facing the death penalty if found guilty of killing two of his associates – YNW Juvy and YNW SakChaser – in a brutal shooting. Not only got he receive the fatal sentence, but Melly is actually the first person to be tried under new state law allowing a jury to convict with a minimum 8-4 vote rather than the usual unanimous 12.

On the first day of proceedings, we heard testimony from prosecutors and their witnesses on the Law & Crime live stream. It was alleged that Melly recruited fellow lyricist Fredo Bang to pick him up after the incident went down. While the “Murder On My Mind” hitmaker was running from the scene of the crime, his accomplice, YNW Bortlen, drove the shooting victims to the hospital. While in court, footage of the vehicle driving up outside was played. Melly even appeared to shed a tear while seeing the bodies of his late friends carried into the building.

The 23-year-old’s former attorney, Bradford Cohen, has said that it will be very difficult for Melly to be found guilty. Perhaps the most difficult part will be proving beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused pulled the trigger. “When I was on the case, I had a very clear path to the defense. I believe there are some large holes in the case for the prosecution,” the celebrity lawyer wrote on IG yesterday.

Kanye West is another year older as of last week, but that doesn’t mean he’s put his antics behind him. At his birthday party on Saturday (June 11), he served sushi on the bodies of naked models, causing something of a stir on social media. For his Sunday Service the following day, the “Power” rapper took a slightly more wholesome approach, instead offering patrons food to eat with their bare hands, placed on top of autopsy-style tables.

As Page Six notes, the scene looked comparable to American Horror Story, with choir members donning white robes and guests also sporting the colour of purity. There were no utensils in sight, forcing those brave enough to eat either salmon, steak, or chicken for their main course. Afterward, some indulged in treats like watermelon and ice cream for their dessert, also laid out on the eerie silver tables.

Kanye West Hosts Another Sunday Service

There didn’t seem to be any recognizable faces at yesterday’s worship session, however, a few celebrities did join Ye at his birthday party. Among them were Chloe Bailey, who looks to have sustained an injury recently, Ty Dolla $ign, and Freddie Gibbs. Aside from eating sushi and connecting with friends, the father of four was also seen rapping along to “Off The Grid.”

At the same time, North West was recording him with a camera nearly the size of her. It’s possible the footage could be for the DONDA track’s music video, or it could just be creative exploration with his eldest daughter. After hanging out with Lil Wayne and other rappers in the early days of her career, she felt pressure to get butt injections in order to keep up with the women they were bringing around and praising. Minaj is clearly very confident in herself and has been candid about her history of cosmetic procedures. Rather than continuing to amp up her voluptuous figure, this weekend she seemingly revealed that she underwent a breast reduction.

As @theshaderoom reports, the “Moment 4 Life” artist expressed a desire to make her chest smaller after recovering from the birth of Papa Bear nearly three years ago. “I should’ve took them off then,” Minaj reflected during an Instagram Live session in 2022, revealing advice she got to get the surgery a while back from another woman in the industry. “Is you ready for that?” her friend asked. “Yes! A-cup season,” the Trinidadian joked, obviously desperate to get some weight off of her chest.

Throughout the teaser, the Queen hitmaker shows off various makeup looks and outfits. Among them is a white tank top which she’s obviously opted out of wearing a bra under. Boosie Badazz Appears At YNW Melly Trial, Gets Annoyed With Man Sleeping During Testimony

It’s been a wild few months in terms of rappers on trial, from the YSL RICO indictment finally making headway (though they’re still stuck in the jury selection process months later) to Tory Lanez’s arrest after he was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in late 2022. Today (June 12), another case is beginning to unfold in Broward County. YNW Melly, who’s on trial for double murder, is currently in court and could be sentenced to death should prosecutors have their way.

Of course, the 23-year-old’s family members are supporting him, but Melly also had another lyricist drop by. Just a few hours ago, Boosie Badazz posted up on Instagram in a flashy orange and black suit and plenty of ice on his neck, wrist, and fingers. “@ynwmelly TRIAL!!! Opening Day,” the Louisana native wrote in the caption after recording himself walking through the hallway. He obviously wasn’t able to record while inside, but thankfully journalists provided hilarious updates on Boosie for fans.

“@BOOSIEOFFICIAL, supporting @YNWMelly is annoyed by the man sitting next to him sleeping during testimony,” one of the messages reads. It’s easy to picture the 40-year-old’s reaction to the situation, and his annoyance may even be why Boosie opted not to return after they broke for lunch.

Other information we’ve learned over the past few hours reveals that the “death qualified” jury of 12 consists of six Black people, and nine total females. The last time the fatal sentence was given out in Broward County was in 2015, also to a Black male convicted of first-degree murder.

We’re now two weeks deep into Abel Tesfaye’s The Idol series, and what audiences have seen so far has elicited nothing short of shock. When the show premiered at Cannes Film Festival last month, critics made it clear that they weren’t impressed with the abundant nudity and hypersexualization present on-screen. The premiere previously showed off a scantily clad Lily-Rose Depp in practically every scene, and the second episode wasn’t much better. Those who are curious about The Weeknd’s bone-chilling character will be happy to know that E2 gives more insight into his day-to-day life. Not only does he own the nightclub where he and Jocelyn met, but he also runs a cult-like management company where clients have been known to receive shock treatment.

YNW Melly Trial: Rapper Seemingly Cries As Victims’ Hospital Footage Plays In Court

Emotions are running high in Broward County, Florida today as YNW Melly’s double-murder trial finally kicks off. The embattled star has been behind bars since 2019. Now, attorneys will attempt to prove his innocence in the gruesome slaying of two affiliates nearly five years ago. Fans have heard semi-regular updates from Melly via Instagram during the wait. They’ve chiefly included details of the alleged abuse he’s endured at the hands of correctional staff.

When appearing in court on Monday (June 12), the “Murder On My Mind” hitmaker seemed to be in good spirits. His long hair was pulled out of his face, and he donned a navy blue suit, looking far more grown up than when he was first locked up on first-degree murder charges. So far today, those in attendance have heard opening statements that, according to Melly’s former lawyer, Bradford Cohen, prove the prosecution has “an uphill battle ahead of them.”

YNW Melly Reportedly Emotional in Court Today

As per AllHipHop, Cohen shared via Instagram that there are many “difficult issues” for them to prove, such as Melly’s pulling of the trigger. “The faulty investigation, motive, no DNA, no GSR [gunshot residue], no murder weapon, no evidence that he pulled the trigger. Very tough case for a prosecutor,” the celebrity attorney explained. Part of what was presented today included footage of YNW’s alleged accomplice arriving at the hospital with the two victims, claiming they had been a part of a drive-by shooting.

As the video played, many women related to the deceased left the courtroom. At the same time, the accused killer appears to wipe his eyelids, seemingly overwhelmed with deep feelings. It’s likely YNW Melly’s emotion is only amplified by the potential of the death penalty looming on his shoulders. While it was previously removed as an option in his case, more recent updates have made it easier than ever for the 23-year-old to receive the fatal sentence. Governor’s Ball 2023: Ari Lennox, Kendrick Lamar, And Ice Spice Among Best-Dressed Performers

Summer is nearly here, and New York City is more abuzz with celebrities than ever. The past two weekends have seen some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B taking the stage at Hot 97 Summer Jam, and more recently, Governor’s Ball. While the former gave us performances from Cardi B, Lil Tjay, and Coi Leray (among others), the latter saw Lizzo headlining on Friday (June 9), and Kendrick Lamar closing things out on Sunday night.

This isn’t the only time we’ve seen K-Dot outside since wrapping up his Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers World Tour. Earlier this month he caught our attention at Primavera Sound, where the Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist brought out clones to make a creative statement. His set in NYC last night was equally as riveting, and saw him wearing an orange and white outfit paired with a backwards blue cap.
