Kelly Rowland Allegedly Walked Off “Today Show” Due To Small Dressing Room

Kelly Rowland’s new movie Mea Culpa comes out soon, and according to a new Page Six report, The Today Show with Hoda Kotb invited her as co-host on Thursday (February 15). She showed up for the 8AM local time slot, mostly for just a brief conversation about the movie, but she was apparently supposed to appear at 10AM as well to be a co-host for the hour. However, an allegedly close source to the program reportedly told the publication that the Destiny’s Child legend and her team supposedly left before the second part of this press run could manifest. The reason? Apparently, it was too small of a dressing room.

“Kelly and her team were not happy,” the alleged source remarked. “They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving [Kotb] without a guest host for the 10AM hour.” Furthermore, it seems like Kelly Rowland and her crew asked for other rooms, but Jennifer Lopez was already in the big green room. She had her own media to promote, and when they couldn’t find other rooms, the team just left and caused a lot of confusion for the show producers.

“She’s beloved at Today,” another alleged source shared about the situation. “She was getting the full hour, and Hoda’s the biggest hype woman on the planet! It made no sense.” Whatever happened here, it’s unclear whether Kelly Rowland will elaborate on the situation further or if this will stay a rumor mill mystery. Either way, we know that she’s not opposed to speaking her mind and setting the record straight. After Jay-Z’s Grammys speech, calling the Recording Academy out for not giving his wife Beyoncé her proper flowers, the 43-year-old praised him as “one of the greatest men she knows.”

Lola Brooke New York Listening Party Pepper Spray Incident Led Event Awry: Report

Leading up to her debut project, Dennis Daughter, arriving today (November 10), Lola Brooke kept fans interested with a well-planned rollout. Singles like “You” and “Pit Stop” preceded her work, showing how the East Coast icon can hold her own alongside seasoned emcees like Bryson Tiller and French Montana. Plenty of her female contemporaries later came through to help Brooke too, including Latto, Coi Leray, and Yung Miami.

Ahead of sharing her album with the world, the “Don’t Play With It” hitmaker hosted a listening party in her home state. Unfortunately, a new report from Page Six alleges that things didn’t go exactly as planned after an alleged pepper spray incident at the Soho venue. “I was partying in the back having a good time and all of a sudden I could not breathe. My throat started to burn and my eyes teared up,” one attendee dished to the publication. “I think too many people were trying to get too close to her in her VIP section so the situation had to be handled with mace,” they hypothesized.

Brooke’s team told Page Six they “were unaware of that incident” taking place. Though the lyricist was seemingly unbothered by the chemicals in the air, many others “desperately dashed to the bathroom – and to the bar – for water to flush their eyes and throats.” Others opted to simply leave the party early. “I could not breathe, and had to leave, I could not take it. I honestly don’t know where it came from. One minute everyone was drinking and vibing to her music, the next minute people were coughing, choking and gasping for air. Everybody except Lola though,” another attendee noted.

Now that Lola Brooke’s debut LP has finally hit streamers, the rising starlet is already busy planning her next creative ventures. We’re impressed with the roster of collaborators she tapped for Dennis Daughter and can’t wait to hear who else she’ll be hitting the studio with next. NSYNC Might Be Teaming Up With Justin Timberlake For Their First Song In 20 Years

Legendary pop group *NSYNC might just be back soon after all, thanks to a new Entertainment Tonight report. Moreover, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass might reunite on wax for the first time in over twenty years for the soundtrack of the next Trolls movie, Trolls Band Together. Not only that, but the source who spoke to the publication of this alleged development also claimed they will have secret roles in the film itself, which releases on November 17 of this year. Given Timberlake’s strong involvement in the franchise as both a character and soundtrack contributor, maybe this is the perfect setting for everyone to get a big, fat check for nostalgia’s sake and have some fun.

Furthermore, this isn’t the singer’s only reunion this year. In addition to the boy band that launched him coming back (reportedly), Justin Timberlake went back in the studio with Timbaland and even called Nelly Furtado for the sessions. But while the Timbaland news saw confirmation and teasing for quite some time, the news on the NSYNC front had been quite reserved until now. For whatever reason, though, this blockbuster is looking like a solid chance.

Trolls Band Together Trailer Hints At NSYNC Reunion

After all, the trailer above even hints at this reunion in a corny but playfully funny way. “We’re out of sync,” singer Troye Sivan’s character tells Timberlake’s character in the teaser. “We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: to the back streets.” Sure, maybe you find all those boy band and male group references to be a bit of an eye-roll, but this is Trolls we’re talking about. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if NSYNC’s return isn’t on this big stage, but rather performed by these cartoon characters for a kids movie?

Irony aside, die-hards fans of NSYNC are probably really excited with this news, given that the last song they ever put out was a single for their last album, was back in 2002. They’ve reunited either partly or fully on occasion, most notably when the group except Timberlake joined Ariana Grande at Coachella. Kanye West’s Sunday Service Serves Salmon & Steak On Autopsy-Style Tables With No Utensils

Kanye West is another year older as of last week, but that doesn’t mean he’s put his antics behind him. At his birthday party on Saturday (June 11), he served sushi on the bodies of naked models, causing something of a stir on social media. For his Sunday Service the following day, the “Power” rapper took a slightly more wholesome approach, instead offering patrons food to eat with their bare hands, placed on top of autopsy-style tables.

As Page Six notes, the scene looked comparable to American Horror Story, with choir members donning white robes and guests also sporting the colour of purity. There were no utensils in sight, forcing those brave enough to eat either salmon, steak, or chicken for their main course. Afterward, some indulged in treats like watermelon and ice cream for their dessert, also laid out on the eerie silver tables.

There didn’t seem to be any recognizable faces at yesterday’s worship session, however, a few celebrities did join Ye at his birthday party. Among them were Chloe Bailey, who looks to have sustained an injury recently, Ty Dolla $ign, and Freddie Gibbs. Aside from eating sushi and connecting with friends, the father of four was also seen rapping along to “Off The Grid.”

At the same time, North West was recording him with a camera nearly the size of her. It’s possible the footage could be for the DONDA track’s music video, or it could just be creative exploration with his eldest daughter. Regardless, we’re certainly curious to see what inventive ways the 46-year-old will serve up food next. Elsewhere in the news, Jay-Z has Kanye West to thank for helping him reach a record career milestone. The pair’s Watch the Throne collaboration, “Ni**as In Paris” just received a new certification from the RIAA, marking Hov’s first Diamond single.
