A video appearing to show Lil Baby at the airport getting ready to board a Spirit Airlines flight is circulating on social media amid the holiday season. While many fans took the opportunity to roast the rapper for using the budget airline, many others have come to his defense, including Rick Ross.

When NoJumper shared the clip, Ross responded: “Wise man. I did it 15 yrs straight.” Another user joked: “NoJumper is committed to the degradation of the Black culture.” Many others explained why he might be flying the cheaper option.

Ludacris Opens Chicken & Beer Restaurant At LAX

Ludacris celebrated the grand opening of his second Chicken + Beer restaurant location on Wednesday at the LAX airport. He posted a picture of his restaurant workforce gathered together under the Chicken + Beer logo. Located in Terminal 3 at the giant Los Angeles airport, it serves way more than just chicken and beer. Commenters on Instagram were raving about other food items, such as the “Grown Folk Mimosa” and high-quality shrimp and grits.

“ITS OFFICIAL!!!!! CHICKEN & BEER LAX IS NOW OPEN! …LOS ANGELES, [LET’S] GO!!!” Ludacris shouted from his Insta caption. The first Chicken + Beer location is Gate D5 at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. That first restaurant launched in 2016, making this second location a whole seven years in the making. The name of the restaurant is an homage to Luda’s 2003 studio album Chicken-n-Beer. The official Chicken + Beer website claims to serve “all the flavors of Southern soul food.” This includes fresh-made waffles, mac and cheese that’s “better than your mama’s,” and crispy fried chicken.

Ludacris Is A King Of All Trades

Ludacris has had his hands in multiple industries for quite some time. While he got his start in music — and still performs to this day — he is now better known as an actor. He plays a pivotal role in the Fast & Furious franchise. Owning a couple of restaurants is par for the course for the talented multi-hyphenate. And it all reflects in his massive net worth. He also got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in May, making him one of only a few rappers to achieve the feat. During the Walk of Fame ceremony, Ludacris choked up when his daughter, Karma, went up to say a few words about her dad.

Keke Palmer Alleges Discrimination At Airport Over Breast Milk

Any mother out there knows that pumping breast milk for your child can be an arduous task, and one that airport security seems to have little regard for according to Keke Palmer. Moreover, the entertainer recently claimed on Twitter that she was a victim of “breast milk discrimination” at a Houston airport. According to TSA regulations and what we know of her testimony, it seems that the issue arose from the amount of breast milk permitted in carry-on baggage. Currently, quantities greater than 100 milliliters can pass through carry-ons just fine, yet she faced some pushback at the screening.

“Breast milk discrimination at the Houston airport ruined my mood,” Keke Palmer shared. “I should’ve popped my tit out right then because the discretion and comfort of pumping is thwarted with threats to throw out over 16oz my babies food?!?!!! Why is that not a crime?? I’M A MOTHER for crying out loud,” she concluded with some crying emojis. For those unaware, Palmer just recently became a mother, giving birth to her son with Darius Jackson, Leodis, back in February of this year.

Keke Palmer Calls Out Airport For Almost Making Her Throw Out Breast Milk

One of the many themes discussed on the album is the issue of sexual assault, abuse, and violent culture in the music industry, which she expanded on in an interview with People magazine. “We know bad things happen in all of them, but it’s almost like the acting world represents a union and the music industry represents non-union,” Keke Palmer remarked. “It’s happening in the actor world but eventually, it’s going to come to a damn halt. Airport Employee Talks About Being In “The Hillbillies” Video

Last week, Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar dropped “The Hillbillies”. A surprise release from both of them, the song included a sample of Bon Iver’s “PDLIF” and an interpolation of Drake’s “Sticky”. It was the first collaboration between the two cousins in almost two years. Many people were excited for the new song. “it’s a great summer song. got a good bounce to it and kendrick and keem both have dynamic performances with their lyrics and their voice. also the hook by keem is hard asf,” a fan wrote on Twitter. However, not everyone was thrilled about the song. “its cool but if this is the single for a collab album then im worried,” one person wrote on Twitter.

Also notable was the music video. Filmed on a VHS camcorder, the video featured retro visuals as well as outtake footage from Lamar’s Big Steppers Tour. Notably featured in the video was an airport worker at Dublin Airport. Dublin Airport is a common hub and layover between Europe and North America. “So he literally came up to us while we were just waiting at reception,” the man said in a recent video. “Literally came through the door, full of life. Polo G Found His New Artist CNN Mikey At An Airport

Sometimes, artists strike gold in the most unlikely of places, whether you’re looking for talent or a talent waiting to be found. Moreover, Polo G recently pulled up to Real 92.3 in Los Angeles with his new label signee CNN Mikey, introducing him to the world. For those unaware, the Chicago MC created the ODA label (Only Dreamers Achieve) in 2020, which was part of a partnership deal with Columbia Records. Furthermore, Mikey hails from Toledo, Ohio, but relocated to L.A. when Polo found him. In fact, the story of their link-up is a rare occurrence, but nonetheless an inspiring one for rising artists.

When Polo G and a friend made their way through the LAX airport, CNN Mikey went up to them to say hello. Although they hesitated at first, they loved the couple of songs that the young buck played for them. Shortly afterwards, they got him singed to ODA. “Any artist that I ever scouted or got something to do with, I’m big on creating real relationships and genuine relationships,” the “No Time Wasted” MC remarked to the radio station. “That’s what it’s all about,” the recent signee added.

Polo G Introduces CNN Mikey

Just this week on Wednesday (May 24), CNN Mikey released “FOR MY PEOPLE” along with a music video for the track. Hopefully there are greater things to come for Mikey, and for Polo G’s label. In terms of musical moves, he’s been relatively scant for the past year, likely preparing for a big drop that fans beg drops soon. However, that’s not to say he hasn’t been busy, as he appeared on the Hulu series RapCaviar Presents as one of its protagonists. During his episode, he broached a variety of compelling and important topics, such as his relationship with Juice WRLD and drugs.

Unfortunately, one of his recent statements had many concerned for his safety and criticizing his boasts. When the 24-year-old bragged about not needing security, many brought up the untimely deaths of rappers lost to violence. D.C. Rapper MoneyMarr Arrested For Trafficking Fentanyl

Authorities recently arrested MoneyMarr, a rapper from the D.C. area, for trafficking one of the deadliest substances in the U.S., fentanyl. According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, a multi-agency task force seized 5,000 pills shipped from Los Angeles to Maryland with intent of illegal sale and distribution. Moreover, an investigation into the operation began in November of 2022. Furthermore, pills resembled OxyContin and were set to reach a single-family home in Waldorf. Instead, they led to the indictment of suspects MoneyMarr (real name Marvin Bussie), 20, and Quecealla Turner, 22.

Not only that, but officials charged the pair with conspiracy to import, possess, and distribute a dangerous controlled substance, along with other related charges. Turner received her indictment promptly, but MoneyMarr went on the run until April 4. Then, the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested him in Largo, Maryland. To elaborate, he had an open warrant from the DEA for attempting to ship 12,000 fentanyl pills out of L.A. the previous year. On April 5, authorities ordered MoneyMarr to remain in the Charles County Detention Center without bond.

MoneyMarr Arrested For Trafficking Fentanyl

“Fentanyl is extremely dangerous in the hands of dealers who often disguise what it is,” Sheriff Berry stated. “We are committed to dismantling the networks that traffic dangerous narcotics. We especially want to recognize the partnerships between the assisting law enforcement agencies who helped in the recovery of these dangerous pills. These arrests reflect successful teamwork among local, state and federal agencies.”

“Whenever someone uses the U.S. Mail to send anything illegal or potentially dangerous, Postal Inspectors will find them and bring them to justice,” Damon E. Wood, Inspector in Charge of the Washington Division, expressed. “Fentanyl is killing many of our young people,” added Johnny L. Hughes, U.S. Marshal for the District of Maryland. “Unfortunately, those taking these pills do not realize the consequences. This case demonstrates the commitment and strength of multiple law enforcement agencies working together to arrest those responsible for these crimes.” Moreover, this substance has taken far too many lives without justice. Hopefully authorities can focus on keeping it off the streets and acknowledging that dealers may be thrust into those situations. Boosie Badazz Throws A Fit Over Airport Food

Boosie Badazz must have been having an extremely bad day. The Baton Rouge rapper frequently suffers from a case of foot-in-mouth disease. So, it should come as no surprise that he’s once again portrayed himself in a not-so-flattering light. Boosie recently took to Instagram Live to chat with fans. In the clip, he is at the airport, waiting for his flight to start boarding. During the downtime, he decides to get something to eat. That’s when Boosie decided to start acting out.

The video, which was captured in part and posted by HipHopDX, shows Boosie ordering food. The camera is pointed at the ceiling, but you can hear the conversation between the rapper and the cashier. She asks if Boosie wants mayonnaise or mustard with his sandwich. Boosie then says, “You don’t have jelly?” The cashier responds, telling him that they do not. Boosie took the opportunity to throw a fit.

After collecting his food, Boosie makes sure to make a rude comment while he’s still in earshot of the employee. “How the f*ck you sell sandwiches and ain’t got no f*cking jelly,” he says angrily, his face barely in the frame. Then he takes his disappointing meal to a table and makes sure to prop up the camera for viewers to see him. He makes his displeasure clear as he rips open the paper bag while shooting dirty looks at the employees. One would be forgiven for asking what kind of sandwich needs jelly in lieu of mayo or mustard. Maybe it was actually a biscuit. At another point in the video, Boosie continues his rant. “How the f*ck you gonna sell a biscuit with no muthaf*ckin’ jelly,” he said. “This sh*t done blew me, man.”

Still, whether or not Boosie’s attitude was necessary is debatable. This isn’t the first time Boosie has said or done some regrettable things. Recently, he leveraged some homophobic insults at Terrence “Gangsta” Williams. He also said that crack is “healthier” than fentanyl. Those comments can be explained, at least. T.I. and Boosie BadAzz ran into each other at an airport, as caught by a photo that began circulating on social media, Sunday night. The meet-up seems to have come after the two engaged in a public feud throughout recent months. No further details about T.I. and Boosie’s run-in were provided.

Despite a lack of context, people had plenty to say about the picture. “Boosie always dressed up as a 19 year old who be taking off guards at a gas station,” one user joked on Instagram. Another theorized, “Boosie tryna get that n***a to be in one of his films.” One more joked, “Why TI standing there like n***a don’t hit me.”

T.I. and Boosie’s spat began after the former admitted to snitching on his cousin to avoid charges years ago. Afterward, Boosie went on VladTV and revealed that he scrapped a collaborative album with T.I. because of the alleged snitching. T.I. later claimed that his comments were taken out of context.

“It came from a conversation that my partner and I were having,” T.I. said at the time. “That conversation was, ‘Hey bro, if me and you catch a case together and I die before you, it’s mine.’ He was like ‘Nah, I can’t do that.’ [I said] ‘Yes you can. It’s mine. Why can’t you? I don’t understand it.’ He said, ‘Nah, I can’t do it.’ You know what I mean? He said, ‘I can’t really say nothing about anybody who do, but I can’t do it.’ So off of that conversation, I created a set of circumstances. You know what I mean? And I thought that the embellishment was clear when I said I talked to my cousin and he told me.” T.I. also shared official documents from the time in an attempt to prove his innocence. Lil Meech Facing No Charges After December Airport Arrest

Lil Meech is best known for his work with 50 Cent on BMF. Last December, though, he made headlines for a different reason entirely. Mid-way through the month, the 22-year-old was at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Unfortunately, TSA agents uncovered a 9MM gun in a carry-on bag he put through the security scanner.

According to TMZ, it was actually the actor’s bodyguard who owns both the luggage and the weapon. At the time of the incident, airport employees were informed of the mix-up. They chose to ignore the guard and bust Meech because he had placed the problematic bag on the belt himself.

The Detroit-born star worked with Bradford Cohen on the case. The attorney was able to present indisputable evidence to Broward County prosecutors that the pistol belongs to the bodyguard. He shared the weapon’s purchase receipt, holding case, and permit for the firearm.

Additionally, the celebrity lawyer noted that Meech and his bodyguard have similar tastes in luggage. While they were rushing to catch a flight, the Taurus star accidentally grabbed his staff’s bag, apparently leaving his behind.

The Broward County State Attorney’s Office has since confirmed to TMZ that prosecutors are declining to file a misdemeanour charge against the rapper. This decision comes “because of the facts and evidence available in the case, and the statements made by [Lil Meech] and his employee.”

Upon hearing news of their friend’s arrest last month, famous faces like 50 Cent couldn’t help but tease the young star over his arrest. “What the f*ck! Lil Meech didn’t hear them say cut,” the “Candy Shop” rapper joked in a since-deleted post.

Power star Michael Rainey Jr. chimed in with, “When [tryna] prove ‘BMF’ is more realistic than ‘Power’ goes wrong.”

In other news Meech recently revealed exactly how much cash he dropped on his iconic BMF chain. The tea was spilt during the actor’s appearance on GQ‘s “On The Rocks” series.
