JT’s Fans Claim She Disrespected Lil Uzi Vert On National Boyfriend’s Day

JT and Lil Uzi Vert have been dating since 2019. They are one of the longest lasting relationships in hip hop, excluding the marriages. Which is why fans were both surprised and disappointed that JT failed to post anybody on October 3. For context, October 3 is National Boyfriend’s Day. The rapper was called out online for what was perceived as a disrespectful move. The backlash grew so strong, in fact, that JT decided to hop on Instagram Live in an attempt to clear things up.

JT claimed that she wasn’t in a good headspace on National Boyfriend’s Day. “I was PMS’ing,” she said. “I was mean… like so b*tchy to my man.” The former City Girls rapper went on to reveal that she did have a post for Lil Uzi Vert planned. “I’m gonna make a post about my man on Instagram,” she claimed. “I was just like, looking for a song to use. I put ‘Cater 2 U,’ and then I put Keyshia Cole, ‘Trust.’” The Uzi Vert post never saw the light of day, however. JT didn’t have a reason why. “I don’t even know why I never got to post it,” she admitted. JT proceeded to delve into her own insecurities around sharing her life with the fans. She explained that she has a hard time opening up about her life, despite being “proud” of who she is with.

“I’m just not that girl, and I want to become that girl,” the rapper claimed. “I wanna start being more posty, and letting y’all know… I got a man, I love my man. And I love my life.” JT’s told fans that her big reason for being reluctant is that she believes people would want to see her sad if she posted about how happy she was all the time. “I am a happy person,” she confirmed. “I have a great f*cking life… should show y’all more.” JT’s timing could not have been worse, in terms of public perception. The last time Lil Uzi Vert spoke on their girlfriend publicly, they went viral for all the right reasons.

Lil Uzi Vert gave a street interview on August 3. The woman interviewing Uzi attempted to get their phone number, but the rapper refused. “I got a girlfriend,” they explained. “[I’m] dating JT right now.” When pressed further on the matter, Lil Uzi Vert doubled down and made an even bolder statement. “[I’m] dating JT forever.” The woman jokingly noted that Uzi’s comments ruined their interview, but the clip quickly went viral on TikTok. Many fans championed Lil Uzi Vert for being loyal to JT and for being proud of their relationship in a public space.

Halle Bailey & DDG Wipe Each Other Off Of Their Instagram Pages

DDG and Halle Bailey may have just had a baby boy not even a year ago, but it looks like they realized they wanted to go in different directions. Moreover, the former recently announced that they decided to break up, which was a shock for some social media users and an opportunity for debate and speculative criticism for others. No matter what your thoughts are, it looks like the couple is proceeding with their choice. For example, they each deleted all posts featuring the other on their respective Instagram accounts. While we can’t know the exact reason why they chose to do so, one can assume that they would want distance at this point before continuing their journey as co-parents.

As for why Halle Bailey and DDG broke up, fans have many theories and rumors to spread. Chief among them is the joke that Usher is to blame, since the rapper tried to snatch a cherry that the R&B legend tried to feed to Halle during a performance. It wouldn’t be the first time that Usher was the alleged root of a breakup, but that moment was probably just a playful antic without any serious repercussions.

Meanwhile, their co-parenting of Halo will probably maintain a strong bond between them regardless of their relationship status. All we can hope for is that things stay amicable and family-focused.

DDG Confirms Breakup From Halle Bailey With Heartfelt Statement

DDG and Halle Bailey seemed like a perfect match. The rapper/YouTuber and singer went public with their romance in 2022, and a year later, they started a family. Sadly, the relationship appears to have come to an end. DDG, born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., confirmed the split to the world on October 3rd. The musician posted a lengthy statement on Instagram, assuring fans that he and Bailey are still best friends and plan to co-parent their son.

DDG claimed that lots of discussion went into the decision to break up. “We believe it’s the best path forward for both of us,” he wrote. “I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.” The rapper and YouTuber made it very clear that there are no hard feelings between him and Bailey. In fact, the former couple consider themselves to be best friends. “We are still best friends and we adore each other,” he added. “We cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared.” He also requested that the fans of both be supportive during this difficult transitional period.

There have been rumors swirling that not all was what it seemed between DDG and Halle Bailey. In 2023, the former released the song “Famous.” The lyrics on the song allude to Bailey kissing her Little Mermaid co-star Jonah Hauer-King during the press tour for the Disney film. This was something that rubbed the rapper the wrong way, evidently. “Filmin’ a movie, now you kissing dudes. You know I love you a lot,” DDG rapped. “I don’t give a f*ck if that sh*t for promo / I don’t wanna see this sh*t no more.” Other lines allude to DDG being “insecure” about his relationship.

There were also allegations that DDG was being unfaithful to Bailey during their relationship. The rumors swirled because DDG’s ex, Rubi Rose, tweeted: “Having ur b*tch [wear] my clothes is crazy lol,” which of course led to speculation that she was referring to the rapper. To make matters worse, Rose shared a few screenshots of alleged DM conversations in which DDG asked about her location. “Nobody cheated on nobody,” DDG tweeted in response, seemingly putting an end to the allegations. Now, unfortunately, the relationship has come to an end as well.

Karlissa Saffold Has Change Of Heart After Blasting Chrisean Rock Over Son’s Birthday Post

Earlier this week, Karlissa Saffold took to social media to put the mother of one of her grandsons, Chrisean Rock, on blast. She accused her of trying to throw shade at another one of her grandchildren’s parents, Jaidyn Alexis, with a seemingly innocent birthday post. Chrisean shared a series of sweet photos alongside her son, Chrisean Jesus, and wrote a heartfelt caption wishing him a belated birthday yesterday. The only problem is that it was Jaidyn’s actual birthday yesterday, and Saffold thinks Chrisean was trying to steal her moment.

“This why I know there’s no good spirits because why do this on Jaidyn birthday? I rebuke you satan for using these people for destruction and distraction year after year,” she wrote. Luckily, it looks like Saffold has had a change of heart after a bit of reflection.

Today, she hopped on Instagram to take what she said back, and to claim that Chrisean is welcome to celebrate her child anytime she wants. “After a long night of thought prayer and soul searching you guys are very right,” she explained. “She should be able to post and enjoy her child every day of the year especially after missing his first birthday. I really don’t know what got into me. Happy birthday to them both and may God bless them with many more [kiss emoji].”

For the most part, fans agree with Saffold, and are glad to see Chrisean making the most of her newfound freedom with her son. Freddie Gibbs has been laying low for a few years. The rapper hasn’t had a full-length release since $oul $old $eperately in 2022. Slowly, but surely, though, Freddie Gibbs has been laying the groundwork for a return. He dropped a stellar guest verse on the remix to Leon Thomas’ single “Mutt.” He tweeted out that he loves to pick things up “where we left off.” The rapper kicked the anticipation for new music into high gear on October 2, though. His teased that something major was around the corner via his Instagram.

Freddie Gibbs posted the cryptic message “It’s almost about that time” on his Instagram Story. No photo or additional context, just a black background. He knows what fans want, and it looks like he’s just about ready to give it to them. Gibbs’ message, coupled with the earlier tweet about picking up where “we” left off has many fans theorizing that he could be working on a third joint album with Madlib. The rapper and producer combo have already dropped two beloved albums, Pinata and Bandana, so rounding out the trilogy seems like the logical next step.

Plus, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib teased a third joint album earlier this year. The duo performed a set to commemorate the anniversary of Pinata in May. They welcomed a passionate crowd at the New York City venue Rooftop, and before they played anything, they made an announcement. “Y’all ready for Freddie Gibbs?,” Madlib asked the crowd. “[I’m] about to drop this live sh*t on y’all. Montana up next.” Without any warning, the producer confirmed the existence and title of the next MadGibbs effort.

Freddie Gibbs has been quiet on the interview front, but he recently received a shout out from producer Kaytranada. The producer told Complex Magazine that Gibbs was one of the first rappers who made him feel comfortable after he came out as gay in 2016. “Freddie Gibbs was one of the first artists that was like, ‘I’m proud of you, man, keep doing your thing,’” Kaytranada explained. “I thought that was crazy. That gave me hope.” The two artists have worked on multiple songs together over the years, including “My Dope House” and the Kaytramine release “letstalkaboutit.”

Nicki Minaj dished out lots of kind words for her son’s fourth birthday. She posted numerous messages to her “Papa Bear” on Instagram and Twitter. One of them including her son and husband, Kenneth Petty, playing at a park. Minaj decided to throw her happy marriage in the face of those who criticize her and Petty in the media. One fan thought the timing was odd, given that the post was supposed to be about Minaj’s son’s birthday. “Only you could make your child birthday about a man,” the fan wrote. Well, let’s just say the rapper didn’t like that.

Nicki Minaj rolled up her sleeves and let said fan have it full blast. She literally provided a bullet point list of reasons as to why she was right, and the fan questioning her was wrong. The opening section of the tweet is absolutely vicious, and would have gotten the point across by itself. “Dear weak loser,” it stated. “Tweeting about someone else’s bday b/c you have nothing to rejoice about in your own sad existence. & clearly don’t feel loved & definitely not paid attention to due to your ugliness…” That was how the tweet started!

From there, Nicki Minaj justifies her reasoning for posting about Kenneth Petty. She points out that a pic takes one second out of the day, so the focus was still very much on “Papa Bear.” She noted that people who have too much time on their hands are obsessed her. Most importantly, she noted that Petty was the father of her son, and not just a random man. “His father, my husband,” she wrote. “Not a man, you funky piece of filth.” If you are a fan of Nicki Minaj meltdowns, then you are in for a treat. It gets more intense as it goes on.

The bulleted tweet just becomes an excuse for Minaj to call the fan every horrible name she can think of. Seriously. “GO TEACH THAT DINGY P**SY OR B**SY SOME NEW TRICKS,” she wrote in all caps. “You’re gonna need it when those Twitter checks clear up. GAGGGGGGGG.” Nicki Minaj proceeds to make yet another list in the same post. This time, of her many (and admittedly impressive) accomplishments over the years. There’s dunking on a rude fan, and then there’s whatever this is. The rapper also finds time to promote her St. Louis concert. Read the whole thing for yourself (above). LeBron James Warms Up To Drake Music After Being Unfollowed On IG

Drake and LeBron James have always been linked. They were championed as the successors to JAY-Z and Michael Jordan, and for many, they’ve lived up to the hype. They are defining pop culture figures of the 2010s, and continue to put up massive numbers despite being veterans. The parallels were easy to make because Drake LeBron James were friends. They supported each other’s careers, and spoke very highly of each other’s skills. Then, the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle happened, and all that changed.

LeBron James seemingly took Lamar’s side in the battle. He attended the rapper’s “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. He went viral for dancing in the audience to multiple performances of the Drake diss “Not Like Us.” LeBron James was also filmed telling Steph Curry how much he liked the song during the U.S. Olympics run. It makes sense that Drake felt betrayed by his high-profile friend. The rapper decided to unfollow James on Instagram on October 1. Then, a day later, James decided to throw it back and play Drake music during warm-ups.

LeBron James Took Shots To Drake’s “Free Smoke”

The Lakers Daily Twitter account posted footage of LeBron James and the rest of the L.A. team getting ready for practice. The legendary athlete is front-and-center, taking shots while Drake’s 2017 song “Free Smoke” plays in the background. The specific choice of song is worth noting. Drake’s kickoff to the More Life playlist is packed with subliminal bars and disses aimed at his enemies. There’s a certain irony in the fact that LeBron James is now seemingly counted among these enemies.

Rumors of Drake and LeBron James falling out have surfaced in the past. There was a going theory for a while that the Toronto rapper took shots at James on the 2023 song “Songs About My Brother.” There’s a few bars in which he tells an unidentified person that they aren’t on the level of the late Kobe Bryant. It didn’t gain much traction, though, as others theorized (and provided more evidence) that Drake wanted smoke with Kung-Fu Kenny instead. Regardless, the Instagram unfollow makes it pretty clear that things between these generational talents are not good as they once were. Nothing was the same.

Westside Gunn Unveils Release Date For New Album “Still Praying”

Westside Gunn has been quiet, but he’s also been busy. The Griselda rapper has been popping up every few weeks on social media to give fans new pieces of information. He dropped the album cover and title for his upcoming project, Still Praying, in September. He also claimed to have recorded his next release in a single day. The information fans were really waiting on, though, finally came to light on October 2. Westside Gunn confirmed the release date for Still Praying, and it’s sooner than we anticipated.

The anticipated album will drop on November 1. Westside Gunn confirmed this date on Instagram, along with a lengthy message on what Still Praying means to his career. Evidently, the album is much more than another collection of hard beats and bars. “Still Praying is the beginning of a new era of Griselda Records I promise y’all,” he wrote. “I’m a make sure y’all never forget this sh*t, just support the art and watch how life change for the better.” Westside Gunn then compared the new album to Flygod Is An Awesome God, which remains one of his most beloved releases.

“Flygod Is an Awesome God, when everybody thought I was just chillin,” he added. “I was actually curating the illest art (wrestling/fashion/music) I ever made. But now it’s time to show y’all everything I been working on. I’m a show y’all why it’ll never be another Westside Gunn.” The rapper also gave shout outs to various people who helped with and inspired Still Praying. The “perfectly curated” album will also boast one of the coldest album covers in the entire Griselda catalog. Gunn chose a textless photo of the late wrestler Sid Vicious. The rapper is a longtime fan of the sport, and Vicious, a personal favorite of his, passed away in August.

Westside Gunn and the rest of the Griselda label are known for dropping multiple albums a year. Gunn, for example, put out eight projects between 2020 and 2022. It’s truly a mind-boggling state, one that makes Future looks like he needs to put more work in the studio. The rapper has taken his foot off the gas in recent years, however. His last album, And Then You Pray for Me, was released in 2023, and he’s been taking his time ever since. We can’t wait to hear what he’s been cooking up.

Drake Unfollows Diddy On Instagram Following Mogul’s Allegations

Drake continues to exercise his right to unfollow celebrities on Instagram. The rapper decided to cut several notable figures off on October 1. Some of them needed little in the way of an explanation, like Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar. Others, like LeBron James and Playboi Carti, were surprising given the seemingly good relationships Drake had with them in the past. The 6 God decided to unfollow one more celebrity on October 2, though, and this one made all the sense in the world. Drake is no longer following Diddy on Instagram.

The Diddy follow was actually a point of discussion the day before. Drake fans and haters, both of whom are a passionate late, debated the meaning of the rapper’s continued follow. Diddy has, after all, become a pariah in the music industry. The Bad Boy founder has been hit with several federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. More allegations against Diddy seemingly come out every couple days. Drake cutting ties is unsurprising. This is not, however, the first time the Toronto rapper has appeared to draw a line in the sand between him and Diddy.

Following Diddy’s arrest in September, Drake posted a cryptic message on his burner account. It was a film clip from The Big Short (2015), in which Ryan Gosling’s character claims not to hang out with his co-workers. “I never hung out with these idiots after work, ever,” the character noted. “I had fashion friends.” Drake loves to use film clips to do his talking for him, as we all learned during the K. Dot battle. Drake and Diddy’s relationship has never been friendly, however, dating back to the early 2010s. Diddy accused the Toronto rapper of stealing the beat for the song “0 to 100 / The Catch Up” and the rumor goes that he slapped Drizzy outside of a club.

The Game alleged that Diddy tried to have a hit put out on the rapper in 2014. There’s nothing to validate this bold claim, however. The only time the Compton legend spoke on the matter was during a VladTV interview. What is verifiable, however, are the shots that Drizzy took at the Bad Boy founder on the 2016 song “4PM In Calabasas.” He not only borrowed Diddy’s flow and lines, but threw subliminal digs at him throughout his verses.

Yung Miami’s Alleged Texts To Saucy Santana Spark Rumors About Having A New Man

Yung Miami allegedly has a new man in her life, according to Saucy Santana, who shared a text exchange between himself and the City Girls rapper on Instagram, earlier this week. In the messages, Santana complains about not being able to reach Miami, who replies that she was on the phone with her man. Santana answers: “CARESHA PLZ! It’s always a man witchu!!! That’s AGGRAVATIN! This new n***a got yo head gone! Imma pray for u.”

When The Shade Room reposted the texts on Instagram, fans theorized that Santana leaked the move in an effort to help Miami distance herself from Diddy. “She wants us to know that she’s not with Diddy anymore [laughing emoji]. I would’ve paid paparazzi to catch me with a new man a couple times to make it look more believable,” one fan commented. Another wrote: “She ain’t slick. She just trynna distance herself from Diddy lol. Because what else was the purpose of leaking this?”

Miami previously opened up about her experiences dating Diddy during the premiere of the second season of her show, Caresha Please. Speaking with Santana for the episode, she broke into tears when the Bad Boy mogul was brought up. She had been in a relationship with Diddy prior to CNN publishing security camera footage from a hotel in 2016, showing him hitting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. In the time since, authorities have arrested him on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. Miami has said she never witnessed any of the alleged behavior of which Diddy is accused. He’s also already pleaded not guilty to the charges.
