Halle Berry Recalls Doctor Misdiagnosing Her With “Worst Case Of Herpes Ever”

Halle Berry spoke candidly about her experience with menopause and women’s health with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden during Propper Daley’s fourth “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit on Monday. In doing so, she recalled a doctor misdiagnosing her with the “worst case of herpes” they had ever seen.

“First of all, my ego told me that I was going to skip [perimenopause],” she began. “I’m in great shape. I’m healthy. I managed to get myself off of insulin and manage my diabetes since I’m 20 years old. So that makes one think, oh, I can handle menopause. I’m going to skip that whole thing. I was so uneducated about it at that time.” From there, she brought up experiencing pain after having sex with her partner, Van Hunt. “I feel like I have razor blades in my vagina. I run to my gynecologist and I say, ‘Oh my God, what’s happening?’ It was terrible,” she recalled. “He said, ‘You have the worst case of herpes I’ve ever seen.’ I’m like, ‘Herpes? I don’t have herpes!’”

Berry then confronted Hunt over the sexually transmitted disease, but he took a test and it came back negative. “I realize after the fact, that is a symptom of perimenopause,” Berry added. “My doctor had no knowledge and didn’t prepare me. That’s when I knew, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve got to use my platform. I have to use all of who I am, and I have to start making a change and a difference for other women.”

Halle Berry Film ‘The Mothership’ Scrapped at Netflix Due to Delays With Post-Production

Halle Berry Thinks Her Monthly $16K Child Support Payments is 'Extortion'

The Mothership has been taken off the release schedule at Netflix. The Halle Berry sci-fi starrer has run into problems, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

“Berry and the Mothership team already completed much of the filming on the project, but it was in need of extensive reshoots to get it over the finish line. Netflix opted not to move forward with those reshoots and shelved the film instead.” Then Variety reported, “The movie finished filming in 2021, but it couldn’t be completed after multiple delays in post-production.”

The story was set as Berry playing a “woman who discovers an extraterrestrial object beneath her home a year after her husband’s disappearance.” The film was written and directed by Matthew Charman and had an ensemble cast that included Molly Parker, John Ortiz, and Omari Hardwick.

With the state of the industry, it is not a huge shock when a project shows this degree of chaos. Just take Warner Bros. Discovery’s 2022 canning Batgirl, a DC superhero film that had wrapped production and was due out under the HBO Max streaming banner.

MRC was producing the film, and Berry, along with Danny Stillman, served as executive producers. Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones from Automatik were producers on board.

Berry has a deal with Netflix and will star in the upcoming film The Union along with Mark Wahlberg. She’s still running strong, and that matters!

While it doesn’t seem as though he was able to get her number, he was able to give her a sample of his music, which ultimately worked out for him in one way or another.

“I love Halle Berry right? So one day [when] I had [recently] gotten a record deal, I had just finished playing basketball in LA,” he explained. “I’m at the ATM and n***as is like, ‘Yo that’s Halle Berry next to you!’ I ain’t got no haircut, I got no shirt on,” Cam continued, “I’m like, ‘Yo, let me talk to you real quick!’ She’s like, ‘No, no, no, no, no, no. You have to relax.’ I’m like ‘Hear me out! Hear me out.’ So she walking to her car mad fast and I’m following her and I had a cassette tape.”

Cam’ron Reflects On Halle Berry Run-In

“My promo was cassette tapes at the time before CDs came out,” he went on. “So I’m like, ‘At least let me just give you my tape!’ So she rolled her window down [a tiny bit]. There was a n***a in the passenger seat laid back. I slid the sh*t through there and gave her my promotional tape. It wasn’t my album. It was one of them sh*ts where it got the snippet songs on there. So I gave her that sh*t.”

According to Cam, he later learned that the man in the car was none other than Larenz Tate, who told him he was a huge fan at the American Music Awards. “Larenz Tate was like, ‘Yo my n**a, I f*ck with you,’” he described. “You one of my favorite for years. You know that was me in the passenger seat with Halle when you slid that joint in there.’ I was like, ‘That was you my n***a?!’” What do you think of Cam’ron’s account of flirting with Halle Berry before he got famous? SZA & Drake’s ‘Slime You Out’ Collaboration Might’ve Been Sabotaged, Or So The Singer Questioned

Apparently, Nicki Minaj isn’t the only woman in music harboring resentment toward Drake over his latest solo album, For All The Dogs. Minaj’s long-awaited and frequently teased track with her Young Money alum didn’t make the final tracklist, so she dropped her own freestyle over a song that did appear. On the other hand, SZA’s collaboration with Drake did.

However, yesterday (October 30), in a sit-down with the Wall Street Journal, SZA questioned if Drake was back up to his Mean Girls’ Regina George-ish ways. When discussing “Slime You Out” with journalist Hunter Harris, SZA theorized that Drake might’ve sabotaged her.

“I just handed in the first draft to Drake, and he’s putting it on his album. I’m scared because I handed in the second vocals, and he didn’t use that. And now I’m like, ‘Are you trying to sabotage me?’ I know that’s not true. I literally know that’s not true, but that’s how bad I feel about my first draft. When things come from an effortless space, I almost can’t enjoy it,” said SZA.

Although she was sure to clarify that she was overthinking the scenario, fans online have verbalized their disappointment in the track. That certainly could’ve triggered SZA’s perfectionism. In June, SZA admitted to “punking out” of a guest appearance on Lil Tjay’s “Calling My Phone Remix” because she didn’t feel she could add anything to the record.

To date, Berry is the only Black woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress. Her lead role in Monster’s Ball earned her significant acclaim and brought her widespread praise. Regardless, there are so many films she’s been a part of, including some massive Hollywood blockbusters. While they may not be her most critically acclaimed endeavors, these large-scale movies have contributed to making her a huge box office success.

7. Gothika (2003)

After getting into a car crash, she wakes up to find out she has become a patient in her own hospital. Additionally, she is now a suspect in the murder of her husband. To solve the mystery of her husband’s death, Miranda must first escape the asylum, which proves a great challenge. Gothika earned over $140 million worldwide and showcased Halle’s acting range.

6. John Wick: Chapter 3- Parabellum (2019)

In this action-packed sequel to the popular John Wick franchise, Halle Berry starred as Sofia, an expert dog trainer and assassin. The film was a massive hit at the box office, grossing over $326 million worldwide. Halle’s combat skills were showcased in intense action sequences, and her presence in the film was well-received by both fans and critics. Stryker wishes to build his own version of the mutant-tracking computer, Cerebro, to find and kill mutants. The mutants band together to eliminate the threat and find the key to Wolverine’s past. X2 was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $407 million worldwide. 3. Die Another Day (2002)

Die Another Day is a film in the iconic James Bond franchise. Halle Berry made her mark by portraying Jinx Johnson, an NSA agent. After being betrayed, Bond is captured by the enemy and serves a prison sentence. Bond must escape and find the terrorist before it is too late. This film was a massive hit at the box office and grossed over $431 million worldwide. Die Another Day remains one of the most important entries in Halle Berry’s successful acting career.

2. X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

Halle’s third appearance as Storm in this film marked the conclusion of the original X-Men trilogy. The film kicks off when a government-supported lab discovers a cure for mutations. This forces mutants to choose between giving up their powers, retaining them, and remaining isolated. The cure causes a rift between the followers of Professor X, who wants peace, and Magneto, who wants a mutant-only world. Halle Berry’s Storm plays a pivotal role in the movie’s events. Although the film had a mixed critical reception, it was a box office hit, grossing over $460 million worldwide.

1. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

Halle reprised her role as Storm in this time-traveling X-Men epic. Days of Future Past follows Wolverine as he goes back in time to seek the help of the X-Men of the past to save the future. After the creation of Sentinels, robotic weapons that can detect and track mutant genes, mutants are facing extinction. This movie combined the cast of the original X-Men trilogy and the prequel series, making it a highly anticipated and successful installment in the franchise, grossing over $746 million worldwide.

Halle Berry Is Not a Fan of Drake Using Her Slime Photo as Single Art: ‘I Thought Better of Him!’

Halle Berry Is Not a Fan of Drake Using Her Slime Photo as Single Art

Halle Berry isn’t feeling a picture of her being slimed during a Nickelodeon event is the cover art for Drake and SZA’s new single “Slime You Out.”

After the song’s release, Halle posted an image on Instagram that reads, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy…even if you’re a woman!”

A fan questioned the statement, to which she responded, “didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool I thought better of him!” In a separate comment, she wrote, “When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

Drake’s “Slime You Out” Cover Art Results In Negative Review From Halle Berry

Drake’s music isn’t for everyone, but those who support the father of one go incredibly hard for him, even in times of trouble. He’s currently travelling across North America on his It’s All a Blur, while also putting the finishing touches on his For All The Dogs album. The surprise project was first announced several months ago, and while it seemed as though it would be arriving shortly after the news broke, Champagne Papi has been taking his time perfecting his work. So far we’ve heard just one single, “Slime You Out” featuring SZA. However, that’s already gotten a notably negative review from Catwoman actress Halle Berry.

The track hit streamers at noon on Friday (September 15), and many Twitter users have already admitted to being in their feelings over it. “Slime You Out” finds the former lovers singing to each other about their failures in romance, slipping in a few toxic bars just for good measure. Rather than posing together for the cover art, Drake went with a throwback photo of Berry full of slime at the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards, perfectly matching his single’s title.

Not long after the Scorpion rapper shared his latest release, Berry’s Instagram lit up with a message reading, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… Even if you’re a woman.” When a fan dropped by the comments to ask how the mother of one feels about Drake’s image selection, she made followers aware that she doesn’t approve. “Didn’t get my permission, that’s not cool. I thought better of him,” the starlet revealed. “Hence my post today,” she continued. “When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

Now that the world has gotten a taste of what Drizzy is cooking up on For All The Dogs, they’re hungrier than ever to hear the finished project. However, the 36-year-old confirmed on Instagram this weekend that he’s dealing with some delays, and is anticipating on dropping his album in early October. Drake Used A Picture Of Halle Berry For ‘Slime You Out’ And She Said It Was ‘Not Cool’ Without Permission

Just a few hours after Drake dropped his “Slime You Out” collaboration with SZA, actress Halle Berry has some thoughts. Specifically, she took to social media after finding out the Canadian rapper used her photo to promote the track without permission.

The photo is of Berry covered in slime, which actually happened at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Her Instagram post was a simple photo that read: “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… Even if you’re a woman!”

Berry then replied to a fan who flat out asked her what she thought about it — and she did not hold back. “Didn’t get my permission,” she said. “That’s not cool I thought better of him!”

“Hence my post today,” Berry added with a second comment. “When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on.”

After the news broke, fans on social media pointed out that it’s not even used as the actual single cover, but Drake’s For All The Dogs album art is. Still, others get where she’s coming from. “The wild part is that Halle Berry probably would’ve been cool with Drake using her photo if he would’ve just asked,” wrote one user.
