E-40 Dropped A New Song And Video About Sitting In The ‘Front Row’ After Getting Ejected From The Warriors And Kings Game

The Sacramento Kings are up 2-0 on the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, but the Kings took an L when E-40 was controversially ejected from Game 1 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Saturday, April 15.

The following day, E-40 released a statement explaining that he felt he “was subjected to disrespectful heckling” and was met with “racial bias” when Golden 1 Center security “assumed that I instigated the encounter and proceeded to kick me out of the arena” (as reported by Shams Charania):

E-40 issued another statement, this time alongside the Kings, on Wednesday, April 19, and it was determined “that there was a miscommunication regarding the circumstances” and clarified that E-40 “did not stand excessively from his ticketed courtside seat.” Here it is in full:

But today, April 20, E-40 had the final word. He dropped “Front Row 40” along with a video directed by Jae Synth. The visual finds E-40 reclaiming his rightful place courtside. “Front Row 40, four-seat Earl / Feet on the wood, me and my girl,” the Bay Area icon raps as footage cycles through of E-40’s past front-row adventures.

E-40 boasts about people saying “they watch the games just to see what I’m gonna wear” and “text me and say they see me on the Jumbotron.” Of course, the video wouldn’t be complete without a clip of Steph Curry dapping up E-40.

It’s likely that E-40 will be in attendance to root on his Dubs in Game 3 at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, but it sounds like 50 Cent might be a game-time decision. The Warriors will need all the juice they can get from their home crowd; they’ll be without Draymond Green, who was suspended for tonight’s Game 3 after stomping on Domantas Sabonis in Game 2. The game tips off at 7 p.m. local time.

A YSL Attorney Was Arrested For Bringing Contraband To Court And Throwing His Phone At A Deputy

The YSL RICO case — which has been underway since January, with court selection taking up most of the three months since — took yet another dramatic turn this week, as Atlanta local news reports one of the attorneys for the defense was arrested for battery and bringing contraband to court this morning.

Anastasios Manettas was handcuffed and charged with one count of simple battery against a law enforcement officer, one count of obstruction, and two counts of pills not in their original container after being caught allegedly bringing the prescription pills to the Fulton County courthouse and throwing his phone at a deputy. Manettas is the defense attorney for Young Thug co-defendant Miles Fairley.

He wasn’t the first person to be caught allegedly smuggling contraband into the courthouse. In January, co-defendant Yak Gotti’s mother was arrested and charged with a criminal attempt to commit a misdemeanor after trying to pass the rapper a bag reportedly filled with tobacco and rolling papers.

Meanwhile, earlier this week, another defendant, Rodaluis “Lil Rod” Ryan, was led out of the courtroom after being suspected of having marijuana in his possession but made a commotion loud enough to be heard in the courtroom, prompting the courtroom to be cleared.

In three months, not a single juror has been selected, although some potential jurors have been censured for not taking the process seriously. One of the defendants, Jayden Myrick, aka SetTrip, filed a motion in February to have the case declared a mistrial due to discovery material being made public and potentially biasing any jurors against him.

The entire case, of course, hinges on the state’s belief that YSL Records is not just a record label, but a criminal organization.

Soulja Boy’s Ex Testifies About Alleged Abuse In Civil Trial

Soulja Boy has found himself in more hot water as his ex-girlfriend testifies about the alleged abuse from the rapper in 2019. She also revealed photos of her injuries. Although Soulja Boy is known for his outrageous antics. From taking credit as the pioneer for just about anything, to saying Drake stole his entire flow word for word bar for bar, there’s never a dull moment with Big Draco. However, this situation takes the entire cake. Kayla Meyers, Soulja’s ex, showcased her injuries to the court as evidence for the alleged attack at a party in February 2019.

Although, this isn’t the first time Meyers sued the “Crank Dat” rapper. She previously filed a lawsuit against Soulja Boy (DeAndre Cortez Way) and his assistant, Tevin Anderson for sexual battery. The alleged assault and kidnapping occurred at Soulja Boy’s Malibu home, reportedly lasting six hours. As Meyers was leaving, an argument ensued between her and one of Soulja’s assistants. Moreover, she reports that she was knocked on the ground and kicked in the stomach. The artist allegedly then proceeds to tell her she was going to die as he held a “large” gun to her head.

Not only that, the rapper then allegedly directed a different assistant to tie her up with duct tape and shower her to clean her up from the beating. According to the lawsuit, Soulja allowed Meyers to leave at 8 a.m. He also supposedly remarked: “Now get this bitch outta here before I knock her down the stairs.” According to Radar Online, Meyers also showed text and DMs allegedly sent to her by the SODMG founder. Although, no further details were available on this matter.

However, in the past Big Draco was never criminally charged for the assault. Although, weapons were found in his home, which violated his probation. He was denied any wrongdoing as well as blaming a third party for Meyer’s injuries. The news of the civil trial after Soulja made headlines after making violent threats towards New Jersey fans. This was after fans from the Garden State said they would take $250 in food stamps over dinner with him. Despite the lack of criminal charges against Soulja Boy, the civil trial highlights some serious allegations. Let us know what you think about all of this in the comments below.

Gus and Lucia wanted to recruit a new playmaker into their game, urging Lucia to do something she promised never to do. Since her father’s demise, Lucia had even more of a craving for authority and this was the perfect opportunity for her.

9. Surrender (Season 2, Episode 8)

Gustavo was resolute in his steadfastness to keep Lucia, despite the dispute. Soledad wielded no physical violence, yet the threats she made were gruesome: imprisoned gang members would beat and murder him on her orders so that her team stayed clear of it. Regardless, he seemed impervious. What could break through? Lucia called, distressed; seeking out Gustavo. She rushed off to find help and clear her innocence with one bold move—the recipe had to be made to attest its authenticity. With a deep breath and steady hands, she readied herself to cook it.

7. Cash and Carry (Season 3, Episode 3)

Franklin had never been aware of the extent of Avi’s drug dealing. In this dangerous game, Franklin’s closest ally had ultimately betrayed him. The Mexican venture saw Avi attempt to steal his money while pretending it was just a loan. With tensions high, Gustavo confronted Soledad and fired a shot. Meanwhile, Teddy sought to gain control of an airstrip, so he could smuggle drugs and weapons. Everything unfolded quickly, forcing Franklin to face the consequences of his choices.

6. The Game That Moves As You Play (Season 3, Episode 4)

Franklin’s world was rocked when the cops barged into Jerome’s abode, leading to a violent stand-off. Instead of backing down, he retaliated with strength and determination. Leon found out about Avi’s disastrous scheme and wanted to take action. Teddy came to know that Gustavo was the reason for Lorena’s death, and put her in the ground deep in the woods. This monumental twist was a harbinger for Franklin’s major character arc through the best episodes of Snowfall.

5. Aftermath (Season 2, Episode 9)

The weight of the situation packed in tightly, and for the first time Franklin was without a solution. Taut tensions ran through the room as he mustered the courage to visit his mother before committing to any conclusion. Matt, after enduring a cruel bout of cocaine infliction at the behest of Avi and friends, was confronted with an unpalatable option concerning his brother.

Lucia had committed treachery yet paid no mind to her activities. She and Gustavo were immediately embroiled in a scuffle that resulted in his being punctured with a blade. Nothing had gone their way in one of the best Snowfall episodes. Ultimately, Franklin chose a course of action that nearly condemned him to a life behind bars; the police had been tipped off.

4. Education (Season 2, Episode 10)

Franklin learned a hard lesson when he found himself behind bars. His former status meant nothing in the harsh prison environment. As soon as he arrived, his new shoes were taken from him and he quickly realized that in this place, friendships are fleeting. He was almost killed by Ray Ray, the same man who was forced to take his friend’s life. Fortunately, Teddy was able to get Franklin away before any serious damage could be done. Now, it’s time to get back to work.

3. Pocket Full of Rocks (Season 3, Episode 7)

The search for Mel was in motion and Andre had to ask Franklin for assistance. His feelings for her had long since dissipated, but Franklin still remembered the girl he had once been willing to do anything for. To locate her, he made it clear that no one should supply her with anything without getting in contact with him first.

Franklin wanted to leave the criminal underworld behind, whereas Leon wanted to dive further into it. Manboy desired to become Franklin’s most trusted lieutenant, though he understood Leon held onto that position at present. Teddy believed only one more job was required before he could escape forever.

2. Hedgehogs (Season 3, Episode 8)

Franklin and Teddy encounter each other, conversing regarding the latter’s personal life. Convinced of Teddy’s CIA allegiance, Frank exploited this knowledge. Eventually, Mel was located, and upon Franklin’s arrival, he observed the accuracy of all that had been professed regarding her transformation.

Garnishing intelligence from Kate, Andre traveled to Franklin’s house in search of governmental involvement evidence. Upon noticing Andre in his abode, Franklin began a discourse at Wright’s home before suddenly shooting him in the head.

1. Blackout (Season 3, Episode 9)

Mel understood that Franklin had been the one to end her father’s life. She informed Officer Nix of her suspicions, who then proceeded to make a plan. He told Mel that the postmortem concluded that her dad had taken his own life, but she did not believe this was true. Later, at the burial service, Franklin followed her home and she pulled out a gun. He received a bullet in the shoulder before trying to make an escape. Nonetheless, Mel fired another round, this time hitting him on the back. Critics consider “Blackout” to be one of the best Snowfall Episodes.

Lil Uzi Vert Addresses Leslie Haters

Lil Uzi Vert recently turned heads yet again when they debuted a new alter ego, Leslie, at Rolling Loud Thailand. Unfortunately, the androgynous moniker and personality didn’t get the best reception from fans and media online, or at least the hate was enough to warrant a response from Uzi. Moreover, they recently took to their Instagram Story to stand by the new identity and to defend their new look and style. Of course, the Philly icon is always one to subvert, change their flow, and make headlines for their art in all of its facets.

“Chow understand people always don’t like ways of Chow,” Lil Uzi Vert posted on their Instagram Stories on Wednesday night (April 19). Furthermore, that confirms that Leslie is a reference to Leslie Chow, a character in the film The Hangover portrayed by Ken Jeong. It’s an unsurprisingly eccentric point of inspiration that’s as tongue-in-cheek as it is challenging. “But Chow don’t give af Chow rich and never look back ….. Suck my monkey tail LESLIE OUT.” It was a succinct and quick response, which actually differs from the more thoughtful and elaborate reflections Uzi offered on topics like sobriety.

Lil Uzi Vert Defends Leslie

Regardless of their new namesake, many in the industry clowned Lil Uzi Vert for the announcement, whether lightly or insensitively. For example, Nicki Minaj suggested that they looked like her in the “Bedrock” music video, which is a light and generally harmless jab. However, people took more issue with people like Karlae responding in the comments on Uzi’s post with laughing emojis. Even though that seems harmless as well, it’s a fine line to walk when other bigoted people have an issue with this new identity. As such, many felt like this was an indication of people not taking Uzi seriously.

Meanwhile, JT recently blasted people criticizing her and Lil Uzi Vert’s style, defending her boo. Through replying to detractors on Twitter, she asked people to stop making so many assumptions and criticisms of their choices. After all, their movement and artistic choices are for nobody else but them. Still, both artists have a lot more on the horizon when it comes to their careers that makes these criticisms moot in the long term. With that in mind, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Lil Uzi Vert.

Draymond Green Speaks Out For First Time Since Incident

Draymond Green has finally broken his silence after the incident in the game with the Sacramento Kings. Green has been suspended for Game Three of the Warriors-Kings series after stomping Domantas Sabonis. The stomp has elicited a lot of discussion on the punishment handed down to Green. However, some are wondering how Sabonis avoided suspension. As his actions are the entire reason the incident even occurred. But the league felt a technical foul was sufficient enough punishment for Sabonis.

On Wednesday night, Green took to an Instagram story to give a mysterious comment on the moment. “Because winners always win,” posted Green in the Instagram story. It seemed as if Green was against the world during the incident. The Sacramento crowd began heavily booing Green during the official timeout to review the play. Green then began giving it right back to the crowd. As he began jawing with fans behind the Warriors bench. However, whatever case Green may have made on the floor didn’t help his cause. The Warriors forward was ejected from the game.

Draymond Green Shares Cryptic Instagram Post

The Warriors will be without Green as the team looks to avoid a 3-0 series deficit. In the Golden State Steph Curry era, the team has never been down 2-0. The Warriors will be looking to make a statement when the series begins on their home court. However, Warriors fans will have to be extremely loud to match the atmosphere in Sacramento. Coaches and players involved in the series have discussed the impact the fans played on the first two games of the series.

Green has a long history of being on the wrong side of on the court altercations. The former Michigan State Spartan was suspended in the 2016 NBA Finals for his on the court physicality with LeBron James. Green’s absence in that series changed the entire tone. The Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Finals. However, many wonder if the series would have gone Golden State’s way if Green wasn’t suspended. Do you agree with the NBA’s suspension of Draymond Green? Let us know in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, stay locked in here at HNHH.

E-40 Honors His Warriors With “Front Row 40” Single

E-40 recently had a bit of an incident with the Sacramento Kings. Although he was minding his business during Game 1, he was ultimately kicked out of the arena. Subsequently, the legendary Bay Area rapper accused the team of racial bias. Of course, the Kings took that accusation very seriously and immediately launched an investigation. Now, the series is headed back to San Francisco, and E-40 is going to be in the stands. This is where he will be cheering on his favorite team.

In fact, E-40 has just dropped a brand new song in support of the Warriors, as well as all other Bay Area sports teams. This new track is simply called “Front Row 40” and it is an homage to how he is always sitting front row at football and basketball games. Moreover, he even professes his love for hockey and baseball. Overall, it is the perfect song for the playoffs, which may even act as an anthem of sorts for the Warriors. God knows they need it.

E-40 Demonstrates His Love Of Sports

As for the situation with the Kings, all of that has been handled. In a joint statement today, the Kings and E-40 claimed this was all a misunderstanding. Hopefully, they will welcome him back to Sacramento, if the series extends that far. “After a series of thoughtful and transparent conversations, both parties agree that there was a miscommunication regarding the circumstances that occurred during the Kings vs. Warriors game on Saturday night,” the statement reads. “Contrary to speculation, Mr. Earl “E-40″ Stevens did not stand excessively from his ticketed courtside seat; the outcome resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding between two parties.”

As for whether or not this song was always going to come out, that remains to be seen. Either way, E-40 has taken a negative situation and turned it into a positive one. Hopefully, for the artist, the Warriors can win tonight and push this series to at least five games. Let us know your thoughts on the song, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world.
