Royce Da 5’9″ Reveals Grudge Over Kanye West & Big Sean Upstaging Slaughterhouse

During a recent appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast, Royce Da 5’9″ spoke to its titular host about their rap group Slaughterhouse’s time at SXSW in 2012. They performed for S.O.B.’s 30th anniversary party and were the last show of the night with a lineup that also included 2 Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly, and Big Sean. The latter, Royce’s fellow Detroit MC, brought out Ye to perform “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” and the crowd went ballistic. Now, Joe and his Slaughterhouse partner recalled how they felt when the G.O.O.D. Music duo (at the time) upstaged them and killed a lot of hype for their performance with something grander that came right before in the form of the Chicago artist.

“I’m still mad at [Ye] about that,” Royce Da 5’9″ shared on the podcast, although not in an overtly serious or combative tone. Him and Joe Budden got around to talking about it when the latter brought it up, and Budden even joked about still having nightmares about it. “I’m mad at Big Sean too,” the podcast’s special guest continued. “He’s the one who brought him out. He was on stage. He f***ing showed me, I’ll tell you that.” For what it’s worth, neither artist seems to hold any true animosity for the Yeezy mogul.

Royce Da 5’9″ Appears On The Joe Budden Podcast: Watch

Their conversation around Big Sean, Ye, and SXSW begins at the two-hour, 14-minute, and 30-second mark (2:14:30).

“Big Sean was up at SXSW, Slaughterhouse was closing… Why?!” Joe Budden told Royce Da 5’9”. “Man, we back there doing our little Slaughterhouse chant. ‘All hands in the middle! Slaughterhouse on three! One, two, three!’ Then from the stage, [we heard], ‘La, la, la, la, wait ’til I get my money right.’ Everybody’s like, ‘Ahhh!’ I said, ‘Give me my hand! I ain’t f***ing with y’all! Y’all cr*zy as hell!’ By the time we went up there, it ain’t look like the same crowd. I was tight.”

Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband Demands Back Alimony Amid Financial Dispute

In the latest development of the ongoing saga surrounding former daytime talk show host Wendy Williams, her ex-husband Kevin Hunter has taken legal action to demand two years of back alimony payments. This move comes after Wendy’s guardian claimed she had no remaining funds, sparking a financial battle between the former couple.

According to recent reports from The Sun, Kevin Hunter is insisting that Wendy resume the payments that he claims were agreed upon in their Marital Settlement Agreement. These payments abruptly ceased just before Wendy was placed under guardianship in 2022, leaving Kevin without his expected income for nearly two years.

In exclusive court filings obtained by The U.S. Sun, Kevin Hunter expressed the impact of the sudden halt in payments on his financial stability. He stated, “I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses and having been without this income for twenty-three months has affected me greatly.”

Kevin’s legal filings reveal his intention to bring the matter before the court once again after failed attempts at out-of-court mediation. He has petitioned the court to compel Wendy, through her guardianship, to immediately fulfill any outstanding severance payments owed to him.

Kevin Hunter is seeking resolution regarding Wendy’s AFTRA Retirement Plan. He requested the court’s intervention to ensure Wendy signs the Qualified Domestic Relations Order for the AFTRA Retirement Plan or appoint him an Attorney in Fact to execute the document if Wendy fails to comply within seven days of the court’s order.

“I would not have to file this motion if the plaintiff did not stop my severance payments and if the plaintiff would have signed the qualified domestic relations order for the AFTRA retirement plan,” Kevin emphasized in his filing, indicating his frustration with the lack of cooperation from Wendy’s side.

The legal dispute between Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter underscores the complexities of financial matters in high-profile divorces. As the legal battle unfolds, it sheds light on the challenges faced by individuals navigating post-divorce financial arrangements, especially when one party’s financial situation becomes uncertain.

Meek Mill Labels Kanye West “Smart” But “Off A Lil”

Meek Mill shared his opinion on Kanye West in a post on Twitter, on Tuesday, following their past feuds. Meek says Ye is “smart” but “off a lil” and reflected on listening to his music in prison. Their relationship soured when the Philadelphia rapper condemned West’s “White Lives Matter” merchandise and in turn, West dissed him during an interview on Drink Champs.

“Random but: I think Yeezy smart but be off a lil but because I bought like 17 pair of Yeezys since we been trading rap shots … and I listened to your music to get me through my bid you a super legend I was more confused of why you was going so hard to go at me in the beginning …” Meek wrote in one post. Following up, he added: “When you see us going at it it’s always rap beef we know each other personally and would never let it go to far! It’s a bloody sport gotta be rough wit it.”

Kniko Howard Sr. is the father of 21-year-old Kniko Howard Jr. The oldest of her kids, Draya Michele gave birth to Howard Jr. in 2002 when she was 17. For a while, fans were unaware of Michele’s oldest child’s father, nor did they question it. However, in early 2016, rumors began to spread about the paternity of Kniko Howard Jr. People were starting to believe that former NBA player Gilbert Arenas was the boy’s father. However, that was not the truth, and Draya Michele subsequently made that clear in a now-deleted Instagram post from February 2016.

“Here is Draya ….. At 17 years old I got pregnant by a man who became incarcerated for 10 when I was 7 months pregnant. With help from my mom, I was able to survive. Now, judging by how under-developed and young I was, besides living in a very small city in PA….. There’s no way in 2002 I got pregnant by some athlete. If I had, there’s not a chance in fucking hell I would have wasted 7 years of my life working “in the club” because clearly child support would be on fleek. I have never received A DIME of child support in my life and that’s ok. I have also NEVER attempted to say anyone other than who my son is named after (yes he’s a junior) was the father,” she wrote.

She added, “My son’s father lives in pa and makes an honest living being a barber.” Not much else is known about the man, or what he looks like.

One of those was Ice Spice who is shockingly more famous during this year’s Academy Awards than she was just one year ago. While some fashion spotters were stunned by her see-through black lace dress, others took issue with the similarity to other looks she’s worn.

Spice has never been one to bite her tongue so when she saw the tweet, she fired back. “lets see u b*tches in custom dolce” she replied in a quote tweet. That was the most direct response she gave, but not the only one.
