Cardi B Turns Up During Community Service, Says She’s Back In The Studio

If there’s one thing you can always count on Cardi B to do, it’s turn up. For the past few days, much of the rap diva’s time has been spent serving court-ordered community service. She was previously sentenced to 15 days after taking a plea deal. She ultimately failed to meet the requirements earlier this year but thankfully, she was granted an extension by the judge. Now she has until the end of February to finish her sentence.

In her usual style, the Grammy Award winner has been showing up to work in designer duds, documenting many of her outfits for followers on Twitter. In nearly every upload, she’s been reminding users to “obey the law,” and not make the same mistakes she has. Since it went down in 2018, Cardi has been able to do plenty of reflecting on the infamous strip club brawl that landed her in court.

As DailyMail reports, the 30-year-old and her crew were accused of targeting Angels Strip Club employees over a personal dispute. Prosecutors say that Cardi asked eight people to visit the Flushing, Queens establishment and assault two sisters, Baddie Gi and Jade. A plea deal was rejected by the New Yorker in 2019. Following that prosecutors presented the case to a grand jury. At that time, they also obtained an indictment with two felony charges.

“The victims allegedly had glass bottles hurled at them, alcoholic drinks thrown in their faces and one woman’s head was slammed into the bar,” attorneys alleged while setting the scene. When all was said and done last year, Cardi wound up pleading guilty to two misdemeanour charges. She got off nearly scot-free, as a whopping ten other counts (including the aforementioned two) were dismissed.

Cardi B’s Community Service Style

Ahead of the weekend, the “Hot Shit” hitmaker checked in with Twitter to reveal yet another OOTD. “My brains are burning from waking up early,” she wrote in the caption. “Community service then studio… But I did the crime, ‘I only have myself to blame,’” she added. Fans were obviously pleased to see her look, but what’s really creating a buzz is Cardi’s confirmation that she’s back in the studio.

Fans have been waiting for the follow-up to her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, since 2017. If we’re lucky, maybe the fashionista will have her sophomore project on DSPs before the end of the year. For practically as long as Eminem has been famous, the world has heard all about his daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers Scott. The 27-year-old inspired several of her lyricist father’s early hits, and even provided the hook to his fan favourite “My Dad’s Gone Crazy.” Over the decades, many have been following along with her life via social media, as if she’s a personal childhood friend of their own.

Earlier this year, Scott revealed that she’s reached yet another major life milestone – becoming a fiancée. After her long-time boyfriend Evan McClintock surprised her with a proposal after six years together, she happily accepted. Of course, before he got down on one knee, a blessing had to be given by Slim Shady himself.

On this Friday’s (February 26) episode of the Just a Little Shady podcast, the Detroit-born entertainer invited McClintock to join her. They answered some of listener’s most burning questions, including how they first met and what it took for Evan to get his future father-in-law’s approval. He asked the “Mockingbird” rapper the big question on Christmas Day, which also happens to be Hailie’s birthday, knowing that he may not have another opportunity to speak with Eminem.

“I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like, ‘I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time,’” he explained to his fiancée. “So I just followed him downstairs, and, thankfully, he was just down there getting your cake and I made it happen.” McClintock makes it sound as though the ask was easy, but he notes that finding the perfect ring for Scott was the real challenge.

Just a Little Shady

As it turns out, Eminem’s other daughter, Alaina Marie Scott, came to the rescue with some tips for her future brother-in-law. “She basically told me what for sure not to get,” he laughed on the podcast. “That’s all I told her, so it makes sense,” Hailie responded.

Since launching Just a Little Shady last summer, the recently engaged star has consistently been releasing episodes. Early episodes saw her recalling her time in college, answering questions from fans, and telling ghost stories. More recently, she’s discussed growing up with her Uncle Nate, Miley Cyrus’ latest single, and her own music career. Adam Sandler Cookie Monster: Man With Same Name As Actor Harrasses Santa Cruz In Costume

Last year saw a significant rise in celebrity doppelgangers, with figures like “Fake Drake” using their resemblance to stars to get ahead. After OVO sent him a cease and desist letter a few months back, Izzy humbly agreed to stop performing as the Canadian artist. Unfortunately for Adam Sandler, a man who bares the same name as him isn’t being so kind about giving up his foolish antics.

For his part, the actor has been busy working on his “insane” 340-page script for his next collaboration with the Safdie brothers following their wild success with Uncut Gems. Elsewhere in the country, the other Adam Sandler has been dressing up in a Sesame Street Cookie Monster costume and harassing locals. According to TMZ, things are so bad that police are issuing a warning about the man wearing blue.

On Wednesday (February 22), the Santa Cruz PD put out an official notice for citizens in the area to beware of Sandler. He has no relation to the Grown Ups actor and is wandering around the beach and wharf while making uncomfortable comments to strangers and acting out erratically. Cops say that no crimes have technically been committed, but they’re remaining vigilant as he has a “history of unpredictable vulgar comments and troublesome behaviour.”

Police have asked patrons of the city to stay away from Sandler should approach or provoke them. If anything inappropriate happens, locals should feel free to contact authorities and report the incident. Their warning also makes it known that the troubled man isn’t an employee of the city – and this isn’t his first time behaving in such a manner.

Adam’s Previous Antics

Over a decade ago, in 2012, Sandler was one of the many costumed figures wandering around New York City. At that time, he opted to play the role of another Sesame Street favourite, Elmo, but instead of spreading laughter and joy, he ranted about hateful topics, including antisemitism, in Times Square. He was arrested at the time, and ultimately plead guilty to disorderly conduct. University Of Idaho Murder House To Be Demolished This Semester: Report

There are still several months until we’ll see Bryan Kohberger officially stand trial for the accused brutal murder of four University of Idaho students. Before his identity was revealed to the public late last year, internet sleuths all over the world came together in hopes of finding a suspect and getting answers for the families and friends of the victims. True crime fanatics anxiously wait to see what will happen this summer. Still, occasional updates surrounding the tightly gag-ordered case continue to pour in.

According to the latest from NewsNation, the student residence/party house where Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, Ethan Chapin and Madison Mogen were stabbed to death is due to be demolished in the coming weeks. Local police, the FBI, the prosecution, and the defense have all had an opportunity to thoroughly examine the chilling crime scene. Now, the residence’s windows are boarded up to prevent curious bypassers from snooping or sensationalizing.

Moscow Murder House’s Final Months

The news comes from the U of Idaho’s president. He stated in a memo that the home’s owner extended an offer to the school that they’ve since accepted. As a result, the property at 1122 King Road in Moscow will be demolished later this semester. “This is a healing step and removes the physical structure where the crime that shook our community was committed,” the recent note explains. “Demolition also removes efforts to further sensationalize the crime scene.”

The residence spans nearly 2,200 square feet and has three levels. It contains six bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of the former on each floor and one of the latter. Additionally, it has a highly accessible sliding back door where Kohberger is believed to have entered the residence. The victims were found in or near their bedrooms on the second and third floors. The discovery was apparently made by friends several hours after the tragic murders. At this time, their school is working toward building a memorial dedicated to the victims on the Moscow campus.

As he awaits his fate behind bars, the world has been diving into the accused killer’s harrowing past. Last month, it was revealed that he previously tried his hand at rapping. He even uploading one of his songs to SoundCloud many years ago. Labelled “Rise up instrumental- test,” the nearly four-minute posting finds Kohberger saying some chilling things that potentially foreshadow his alleged murderous antics in Moscow.

“You are not my equal / You are evil but I’m devil,” he tells listeners. “End your life you get no sequel / Leave your loved ones crying like some seagulls / Don’t f*ck with us / You underestimate.” Elsewhere in the news, it’s been said that the former Ph.D. student’s phone was searched. It allegedly contained numerous photos of one of the young women he killed, though authorities have yet to confirm. Following the birth of her son last May, many Rihanna fans expected the 35-year-old to take some time out of the spotlight to adjust to such a major life change before making a major comeback. Their predictions weren’t exactly inaccurate, though many thought that she’d be announcing the arrival of her next album before revealing another pregnancy. During her Super Bowl Halftime performance earlier this month, the singer proudly put her budding bump on display, sharing the exciting news without actually saying a word.

Her first time carrying a child saw Rihanna boldly experimenting with her style. Many of her outfits were very revealing, giving the Fenty Beauty founder a chance to hone her confidence while waiting for her firstborn. This time around she’s been a bit more conservative as far as showing skin, though we can’t deny that her “Fashion Killa” status is still intact.

PETA Puts Pressure on Rihanna

After taking some time to recover from the intense preparation that went into her return to the stage, one of the first looks we saw the Barbadian-born beauty rock was baggy jeans, a graphic tee (featuring her bump peaking out the tiniest bit), and a long fur coat. Her vibe is effortlessly “cool girl,” and while many fans think she looks fabulous, PETA is calling Rihanna out for allegedly wearing real fur. According to TMZ, senior vice president Lisa Lange wrote a letter to her team expressing concerns over her outfit.

“As a mother, you know what it’s like to feel protective and to want to make sure no harm comes to your family,” she wrote to the lingerie designer. “Please understand that this desire – this instinct even – is shared by the minks, foxes, and rabbits who are torn away from their families and killed for their fur.” The animal rights organization then asks Rihanna to consider making a pledge to stop wearing fur upon reading the letter.

Additionally, they offered to take any animal items out of her closet and donate them to those struggling in Syria and Turkey due to the recent earthquakes. Seeing as they’re requesting the Bad Gal give up a seriously stylish piece, PETA is also helping to relieve her burden by sending over a faux fur coat from Unreal Fur in an effort to make the cruelty-free switch easier on her. It’s worth noting that Rihanna has been wearing real fur for years, though she previously won an award for creating faux leather products at Fenty.

Clearly, the “Desperado” singer isn’t letting PETA’s request bother her too much. Rather, she’s embracing the finer things in life overseas at Milan Fashion Week with her beau A$AP Rocky. Paparazzi snapped photos of the couple arriving in the country earlier this week, RiRi happily carrying her baby boy in her arms after deplaning. The Testing rapper was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the Gucci show, and following that, he and his partner stepped out for date night in Italy.

Rihanna opted to wear various shades of orange for their night on the town, including a sleek silk dress with a flirty leg slit and a darker-coloured bomber to keep her and her bump warm. Rocky donned jeans with a unique silhouette, a white tee, and a black leather jacket. In 2022, awards season was undeniably overshadowed by what’s become known as “The Slap” between Chris Rock and Will Smith. Thankfully, this year, things have been relatively calm throughout the ceremonies we’ve seen so far. While the physical violence has been at a minimum, the viral moments have still been steadily coming, from Ben Afflecks’ grim expressions at the Grammys to Ariana DeBose’s outlandish opening performance at the BAFTAs.

It’s since been clarified that the former reportedly knew he was trending on Twitter in midst of the show. Even with the internet poking fun at him, he continued to take in various legendary performances while wearing a pained expression beside his wife, Jennifer Lopez, who was obviously much happier to be in attendance. As for the latter, DeBose likely wasn’t expecting such a negative reaction to her song and dance last week.

Ariana’s Awkward BAFTAs Flop

During the BAFTAs last weekend, she sang a cover of Eurythmics’ “Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves” and Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family.” While she was crooning, DeBose took creative liberty by including a rap verse name-dropping all the female nominees at the event in London. As she spit bars about them, the starlet’s faces appeared across the screen, some of them obviously unimpressed with the singer’s antics.

As criticism poured in on social media from unhappy viewers, the North Carolina native shut it out by deleting her Twitter account. Going viral online certainly isn’t easy, but when Lizzo recreates one of your most embarrassing moments, it’s safe to say you’ve made it. During a concert in Amsterdam on Thursday (February 23) night, the Special songstress had her audience in stitches when she sang some of DeBose’s lines. Surrounded by backup dancers, she encouraged the crowd to “shake it off” with a shimmy before singing, “Angela Bassett did the thing, shake it off.”

For several weeks now, celebrities and fashion lovers alike have been flocking to various cities all over the world to catch the countless designer runway shows taking place this season. Now, things are unfolding in beautiful Milan, where the Gucci F/W 2023/24 collection made its debut earlier today (February 24).

The fashion show was the first designed by creative director Sabato De Sarno, who took over at the Italian house last September. The collection included several bold sheer moments, as well as dramatic fur coats, sleep businesswear, and pops of bold colour. Among those sitting in the audience to take in the runway were DDG and Halle Bailey, who have been aggressively fighting off breakup rumours this month.

Despite the world’s pleas, Bailey proved that she and the 25-year-old are still very much together during today’s Gucci runway. Looking as stunning as ever in a light pink strappy dress, the Atlanta native sat beside DDG in the venue’s front row. Paparazzi photos show that she didn’t hesitate to show her man affection, resting her head on his shoulder while he cooly looks off into the distance.

Tory Lanez Sentencing Delayed, May Not Happen Until April: Report

Since he was convicted of three counts related to Megan Thee Stallion’s 2020 shooting, we haven’t heard much from Tory Lanez’s camp. Lanez took to the internet, interviews, and his music for years to mock Megan and deny he was responsible for her injuries. His dedicated fanbase stood by him, and outlets even advocated on his behalf. However, a jury later found him guilty, and he was set to be sentenced in just a few days.

Reporter Meghan Cunniff kept the world updated on what happened in the courtroom during Lanez’s trial. Today. (February 24), she offered more news on the rapper’s sentencing, suggesting it has been delayed. “Tory Lanez is scheduled to be sentenced next Tuesday for shooting Megan Thee Stallion,” tweeted Cunniff. “The notice from LA Courts just now calls it only a ‘hearing.’ DA Alex Bott tells me, ‘No firm date yet but likely a date in late March to mid April.’”

It Could Be Months Before Tory Lanez Learns His Fate

“This is not unexpected,” Cunniff continued. “Bott and his co-counsel Kathy Ta said in court last month that they would be willing to continue the sentencing again, depending on the availability of the trial transcripts that Lanez’s attorneys need for their motion for new trial.” Additionally, “The motion has not been filed. Motions like that are a lot of work. Harvey Weinstein’s lawyers got his sentencing delayed once so they could have time to put together their new trial motion, and they were Weinstein’s original trial counsel. Lanez has new lawyers post-trial.”

“There will still be a hearing Tuesday, in which we should learn the new sentencing date. Unless other issues come up, it could be a very brief hearing. Lanez should be there; Weinstein was in court on the day his sentencing was delayed. Judge has to ask him if he agrees to delay.”

Immediately following his conviction, Lanez reportedly hired several new lawyers. Some stated it was because he was upset about his trial lawyer’s methods. However, it was later noted that the trial lawyer doesn’t handle appeals, so Lanez would need new representation for the next phase of his case.
