DJ Akademiks Clowned Online For Clip Of His Boxing Practice

DJ Akademiks is notorious for his many feuds and spats in the rap game, whether that’s with artists, other commentators, or anyone caught in the crossfire. As such, there have been plenty of challenges for him to face off in a boxing match, and it looks like he wants to keep those skills sharp… or at least try. Moreover, a clip recently emerged of the media personality sparring with a colleague, and the comments section under the video below is not very forgiving. “No wonder he only beefs with females,” one user commented, while another added, “All that mouth and that’s all he got to offer.”

Furthermore, a lot of people remarked that DJ Akademiks should stick to what he’s known for rather than try to pick a fight or go all out. It’s a fair point, and not necessarily a negative one: I’m happy to keep my 127 pounds glued to the keyboard rather than look for problems. But it’s ironic considering his dismissal of J. Cole’s apology to Kendrick Lamar for his diss, which he absolutely blasted as a cop-out and as a betrayal of hip-hop. While that’s another fair point, it also lacks the nuance of understanding that it’s much more brave to admit a lack of malice than to fabricate a lack of mercy.

Elsewhere, we’re sure that the former Everyday Struggle host will continue to battle his many opps. It’s curious to see when DJ Akademiks decides to invoke a physical confrontation and when he goes truly merciless with his words. There are a lot of examples to support these interpretations, so we’ll see if he ever proves himself wrong at some point.

Machine Gun Kelly is once again getting subjected to a lot of ridicule online, one that he thinks is unfair. Moreover, you might’ve seen on social media that he recently had an awkward interview with Sky Sports reporter Martin Bundle at Formula 1’s Brazil Grand Prix on Sunday (November 5). In it, the rap and pop-punk artist struggled to hear the questions due to the loud noises, and eventually left the interview in frustration. Furthermore, this led to a lot of people clowning him online, and even dragging him as rude or disinterested. Well, that’s exactly what the Houston-born rapper was, as he explained on Twitter.

“my vibe is ‘the worst’ how?” Machine Gun Kelly asked indignantly on the social media platform on Sunday night. “because someone put a microphone in my face essentially forcing me to do a random interview when i was just trying to enjoy an event? because car engines were so loud i couldnt hear him? please tell me more about why im the worst. my anxiety has won. i hate being in public.” All in all, it looks like there are plenty of reasons to blame for this interaction, none of which necessarily relate to either party.

However, there’s still something to be said for how MGK reacted to this, as well as how Bundle handled the situation. Still, it’s probably not enough to criticize them and not just laugh at a funny celebrity interview clip, of which there are too many to get mad over. After all, Machine Gun Kelly had other things on his mind around that time, especially following the Halloween season. He and Megan Fox donned multiple matching costumes this year, which re-sparked interest in their rocky relationship.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old recently got back into his hip-hop collaborative bag, teaming up with Lil Durk for an Amazon Music performance. Considering how much he jumps genres, it’s nice to see him blend these worlds together rather than pick one over the other. Moreover, fans clowned the College Park MC’s vampire-like fit online that he shared on Wednesday (October 25) via Instagram, whose defining questionable factor are the arcs that protrude from his shoulders. Honestly, if it wasn’t for that, he could’ve been just fine as a Playboi Carti clone in the Rick Owens vamp era. But alas, this extra detail and what many saw as a copycat fit as a whole drew some jokes online.

Furthermore, Rich The Kid’s IG comments filled up with roasts, jabs, questions, and pretty comical reactions. Offset Reacts To Kenneth Petty’s Stakeout Video

Seeing drama unfold between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B is really nothing new in the world of hip-hop, but now, the pair’s husbands are trading shots via social media. On Friday (September 15) evening, a video of the Queen of Rap’s partner, Kenneth Petty, standing outside on a stakeout for Offset caused the former to begin trending on Twitter. In the video, the sex offender and his affiliates made it abundantly clear that they were hoping to cross paths with Cardi B’s other half.

“Offset, where you at?” a voice behind the camera in the tweet below asks, filming a group of buildings outside. Upon turning to see their faces, we see Petty markedly mean mugging the phone with two friends, who only become more reckless as they continue recording. “Big Zoo outside ni**a,” the one holding the phone yells, panning his view to reveal that the group of men is drinking beside a pile of trash bags. “Don’t let these ni**as fool you, we run this city,” they continued to berate their haters.

According to Akademiks, while Minaj’s husband and his crew were on the hunt for the “Clout” rapper, he was having the time of his life at Kai Cenat’s place in Atlanta. Fans of Offset were beyond happy to see him letting loose and having a blast during their 24-hour stream in promotion of his upcoming album.

Of course, after what happened to Takeoff in 2022 there’s understandable concern for the lyricist’s safety. Still, he made it clear that he’s not bothered by Petty – or anyone else for that matter – in a response video flaunting his massive wealth.

Asian Doll Blasts People Rapping At Age 30 Or Older

Asian Doll doesn’t always land with great takes online in the eyes of her fans; but then again, who ever does? Most recently, the 1017 signee ruffled some often-ruffled feathers online by revisiting the topic of ageism in hip-hop. “Tryna rap at 30 is cr*zyyyyyyyyyy,” she tweeted, although she later deleted the post, perhaps because of backlash to it. That being said, plenty of people agreed with her in the replies, so it’s clearly a more contentions debate than it looks on the surface. In addition, it’s also in a much different context and implication than just blindly putting every rapper who’s hit 30 in a box.

Furthermore, the obvious examples of rappers older than 30 come to mind: Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Tyler, The Creator, Jay-Z, and so on. However, it seems like Asian Doll is referring instead to people trying to start a career at age 30 or older. Hip-hop’s always been a pretty youthful genre, so it’s understandable why some would think that age leaves people out of the culture. Still, there are plenty of late bloomers in the industry, even though they’re outnumbered by people who make it early and, ironically, fail to age and change with the times.

This is a topic that many in the game have discussed and debated, and a recent example is Wallo, Gillie, and 03 Greedo on the former two’s podcast. “F***ing right there’s an age limit to rap,” Gillie Da Kid told them on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game. “If you ain’t poppin’ by a certain age, let that s**t go. Finesse2tymes is among the many Memphis stars that burst onto the scene in the 2020s so far. However, he’s still not among the most beloved, or at least, that’s what the recent response to one of his Instagram Stories suggests. As a hard-working and focused MC, though, he’s sure to beat these allegations soon, and they certainly won’t slow his hustle down. Still, many fans thought he was overshooting when he named various great rappers and credited them as influencing his hybrid style. Rather than think about whether his music sounds like theirs in concept, they went for his throat on the quality and status end.

“If you put 50 cent, Doe b, Yo Gotti, and Gucci mane all in one pot, U get Finesse2tymes,” the 90 Days artist wrote on social media. In addition, he included a fire emoji and a thinking emoji, and users definitely made their thoughts clear. “More like Bart Simpson and manny fresh mixed in da pot,” one commenter savagely wrote, with another adding “And the lie detector determined that was Cap” with laughing emojis. However, there were still many fans who came to his defense or just disagreed with him with no disrespect, just from a style angle.

Fans Clown Gunna For All His Anti-Snitching Bars

He can’t catch a break, can he? Gunna just got clowned on social media, particularly Twitter, after a fan compiled many of his anti-snitching bars. Of course, given his plea deal in the YSL case, such lyrics ring particularly false in hindsight. Moreover, fans immediately started to joke around and blast the Atlanta rapper for his unfulfilled promises. However, many also pointed out that nobody knows how they’d act until they’re put in that position, so many the hate is undue. Still, despite Gunna’s previous claims that he refused to cooperate, courtroom videos and the industry’s reactions suggest otherwise.

For example, his name recently got censored on a Lil Keed track off his posthumous album, Keed Talk To ‘Em 2. For those of you curious to hear the cut and Wunna’s omission for yourself, it allegedly happened on the song “Hottest.” In addition, other rappers unfollowed him on social media and threw out apparent subliminal disses on song leaks. As such, it’ll be interesting to see where Gunna goes from here in the rap game, and how (or if) he recaptures his audience.

Still, according to DJ Akademiks, the “Drip or Drown” artist has a new album ready to drop. Not only that, but it’s reportedly unaffiliated from YSL and will be part of a new major record label deal. With that in mind, if he’s to continue his music career, it’ll likely take a much different shape. Sure, the style might be the same, but he already seemed to cut some ties. However, he did show love to Young Thug in his first IG post following his plea deal.

In addition, these rumors received a boost on Sunday (March 19) after a new song snippet surfaced online. Moreover, his friend and model Brittany Reshaun posted a short clip onto her Instagram story, In it, he seems to refer to YSL. “Heard the rumors said I’m packing up and flying out / We ain’t going nowhere I’m staying here, gone fight it out,” he raps. “I meant like f**k it / Let’s just give these n***as dark clouds / Been gone for months and I just keep seeing these dark clouds.” Overall, perhaps Gunna will never dodge snitch allegations and his YSL friendship-turned-beef. Jordin Sparks Gets Clowned By Social Media For National Anthem Performance

Twitter’s just never going to be a very nice place, is it? Jordin Sparks recently got clowned on social media for her performance of the national anthem at the Big 12 Championship game. Moreover, many people compared it to Fergie’s infamous national anthem performance during an NBA All-Star Game. However, many also said that Sparks’ rendition wasn’t that bad, as Fergie’s spread like legitimate wildfire online. Still, whether you have an opinion on that, it’s always a bit sad to see so much hate thrown on social media sites for performances like these.

Still, people are entitled to their take, and it probably says something significant if a lot of people did not like your performance. With all that said, it’s not like Sparks is constantly in the public limelight, so hopefully she’s not getting an absurd amount of haters down her throat. In fact, her most recent big story before this performance was that Chris Brown’s abuse of Rihanna caused their collab “No Air” to get snubbed at the Grammys. Given how Brown’s career’s progressed since then, maybe it was best for Sparks to get a little distance.

“Honestly, I think that shouldn’t even be a conversation anymore,” she remarked, defending his history of violence. “It’s about his talent, and they just shouldn’t have canceled the performance. That’s how I feel about it. People deserve to be able to grow and learn. Be able to live their life without things hanging over them. Everybody deserves that.” While her comments obviously didn’t land with people in the most positive way, she does make a point about growth. It’s all about how people move forward from those things, or how they stick by old ways.
