Jim Jones’ Vampire Costume Gets Clowned Online: “Bent Black Force Energy”

Well, you see it on the page… Jim Jones’ vampire costume for Halloween isn’t the most traditional, right? Moreover, it looks like he wanted to mix bloodsucker aesthetics with El día de los muertos (Day of the Dead), which is an interesting and fair interpretation. However, fans weren’t too kind to the Dipset mogul and potential reunion leader in the comments section of his Instagram posts. If you’re curious, he wore this fit to the The Haunted Castle party hosted by Bernice Burgos & P-Reala in Huntington, New York on Hallow’s Eve. With a pair of black Air Force 1s, Capo didn’t go full Nosferatu, but he certainly wasn’t getting any Playboi Carti fans to rock with him.

Jokes aside, this is just one of many frankly ridiculous but perhaps over-hated Halloween costumes from celebrities these days. If we’re going by the worst of the worst celeb costume standards, then Jim Jones didn’t fumble the bag here nearly as badly as people think. Regardless, this creates a contrast between the traditional macho street image that he presents and his actually trick-or-treating aesthetics. But it’s Halloween, folks; can’t even the hardest rappers get goofy for some candy?

What’s more is that, if you really want to read too deeply into this and make mountains out of molehills, the New York MC’s homage to Day of the Dead aesthetics make sense considering his philosophy that dissing fallen rappers is “distasteful.” “When you’re talking about a dead person, he’s already defeated,” Jim Jones remarked to Talib Kweli on the People’s Party podcast. “What good does it hold you to talk about that person that’s dead? Especially the way they’re talking about it right now. These were things we were trying to stay far away from. If we were into that type of life of crime, these were things that we were trying to get away with.” Still, check out reactions to the vampire costume down below that ignore this respect.

Rich The Kid’s Halloween Costume Clowned For Bizarre Vampire Look: Fans React

Rich The Kid is enjoying the spooky season this week, as many other rappers, celebrities, and everyday people are, as well. However, when it comes to his costume of choice, turns out that he wasn’t so lucky to also enjoy some praise and respect for it. Moreover, fans clowned the College Park MC’s vampire-like fit online that he shared on Wednesday (October 25) via Instagram, whose defining questionable factor are the arcs that protrude from his shoulders. Honestly, if it wasn’t for that, he could’ve been just fine as a Playboi Carti clone in the Rick Owens vamp era. But alas, this extra detail and what many saw as a copycat fit as a whole drew some jokes online.

Furthermore, Rich The Kid’s IG comments filled up with roasts, jabs, questions, and pretty comical reactions. One user posted a GIF of Ryuk from Death Note walking casually, a character who walks around with wings. “Hell Wrong With This N***a Shoulders,” another added, although others seemed to rock with it more than anticipated. “Bro is actually tuff,” a fan expressed, and Quavo as well as his partner Tori Brixx, whom the 31-year-old had cheated on and apologized for, shared their support of it, as well.

So sad these celebs are in Hell!!” Another added, “This is straight Illuminati controlling these artist for $$ and taking away their freedom. Look at slide 6 they gotta worship so they can be publicized. Rich the kid is a [fire] artist one of the best but I’m just saying it’s cr*zy.” Check out more reactions to the vampire look down below.

As fans are curious about a new single he recently debuted on a radio show and an upcoming rescheduled tour, Cardi hasn’t said much. But he did share some new selfies for fans to chew over. In the pictures he’s leaning into his vampire image further than ever before. Sporting some new face piercings and red contacts, Carti looks pretty villainous in the three pictures he shared.

Fans has mixed reactions to his selfies online. “This y’all favorite rapper?” one of the top comments questions and the answers are divided. “Someone get me some damn holy water,” another one of the top comments reads. Elsewhere fans are less interested in what Carti is doing and more interested in what he isn’t doing, releasing new music. “Bro really haven’t dropped in 2 years like ts in insane I was still in high school when he dropped,” another highly upvoted comment explains. Playboi Carti’s New Pictures

Playboi Carti doesn’t pop up very often these days. The last time he appeared somewhere was at Ken Carson’s album listening party. His Opium label artist recently released a new album called A Great Chaos. The project features a guest verse from Lil Uzi Vert and a trio of appearances from Destroy Lonely. It’s also been met with tons of positive praise from fans since it released a few weeks ago.

Fans were hoping to hear Carti pop up on the new Offset album Set It Off. After a few weeks of speculation Offset recently confirmed that Carti didn’t appear on the album because he didn’t clear the feature for use. Waka Flocka Says Rappers Are Dressing Like “Vampires”

Waka Flocka is someone who has been around for a very long time. Overall, he has a ton of great hits. He is also someone who has never been shy to showcase his personality. He is one of those artists who always seems to pop out at the most random places. However, when he does show up on the scene, you know it is going to be an amazing party. All these years later, fans have a great respect for him, and it is most certainly well-deserved.

That said, there are still those who want to hear his opinion on all things related to hip-hop and the culture that surrounds it. A lot has changed since the prime of his career, and it is always interesting to get perspectives on the new rappers. While speaking to Complex, Waka actually gave his take on the fashion world and the way some artists dress. As you are going to see in the video down below, he doesn’t really approve of it.

Waka Flocka Speaks

Essentially, Waka Flocka believes that a lot of these artists are dressing like vampires these days. This is an especially poignant observation when you consider all of the Opium artists. Playboi Cart, Ken Carson, and Destroy Lonely are all leading the charge with all-black clothes and tons of designer. Their aesthetic very much correlates to what Waka Flocka is talking about here. Although, tons of fans love this look and they will defend it to the death.

The Opium style of dressing yourself will continue to be polarizing. However, expect young people to continue doing it. Let us know what you think of what Waka Flocka had to say, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always bring you the biggest releases from the biggest artists.
