Snoop Dogg Will Be Bringing His Distinct ‘Snoop Style’ To Join NBC’s 2024 Paris Olympics Coverage

Snoop Dogg will be helping out with some coverage of the Olympics this summer, as he will team up with NBCUniversal in Paris. The news came during the Sunday Night Football halftime on New Year’s Eve.

As for what to expect when Snoop starts helping out on July 26, he’ll be chatting with NBC’s Olympics host, Mike Tirico, and will “explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions and events and make visits to the athletes, their friends and families,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. And it will probably be very entertaining, even if you’re not super into sports.

“I grew up watching the Olympics and am thrilled to see the incredible athletes bring their A-game to Paris,” he shared. “It’s a celebration of skill, dedication and the pursuit of greatness. We’re going to have some amazing competitions and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix. It’s going to be the most epic Olympics ever, so stay tuned, and keep it locked. Let’s elevate, celebrate and make these games unforgettable, smoke the competition, and may the best shine like gold. Peace and Olympic LOVE, ya dig?”

As an early teaser, Snoop appeared in a video with Olympic stars from different sports, including “Suni Lee (gymnastics), A’ja Wilson (basketball), Jagger Eaton (skateboarder), and Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes (beach volleyball),” per the publication.

Back in 2021, Snoop Dogg had also provided some hilarious highlights commentary of the Tokyo Olympics on Peacock — which led to him being picked for primetime.

Drake Ended His 2023 By Showing Off An Enviable And On-Brand Gift Snoop Dogg Gave Him

Like many other social media users, Drake wrapped up 2023 with a post sharing some highlights from his year. Unlike many other social media users, Drake is Drake, so the things he saw and did were largely on a different level than most other people. Example: One of his year-end photos showed off a pretty neat gift from Snoop Dogg.

The post is captioned, “First thought for 2024: I’m not your emotional support dog.” (The first photo is of Drake wearing a dog mask.) A few photos in is a photo of a blunt on a piece of paper that reads, “July 27, 2023, Blunt rolled by Snoop Dogg, Death Row Records,” alongside a blue bandana.

Drake certainly had a lot to look back on for 2023. He released his latest No. 1 album, For All The Dogs, in October. The project yielded two No. 1 singles: “Slime You Out” with SZA and “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole. He and 21 Savage also kicked off their It’s All A Blur Tour, in support of their joint 2022 album Her Loss. Drake was one of YouTube’s most-viewed artists of the year, one of Spotify’s most-streamed, and in case his bank account was feeling a little light, somebody tipped him 20 cents.

Chrisean Jr. Isn’t Blueface’s Son, MILF Music Founder Maintains

The streets will tell you that Blueface is a father of three, but according to him, only two of those little ones are his. Javaughn and Journey, who the Californian shares with Jaidyn Alexis, are at the top of his priority list as he and the MILF Music signee navigate their apparent breakup and co-parenting situation. She sounds excited to be enjoying the single life, meanwhile, social media users are picking up on a bitter tone in Blue’s voice lately.

During a recent interview, the “Thotiana” artist was asked about his youngest child, Junior, who Chrisean Rock gave birth to last September. The infant’s life has been nothing short of chaotic in recent months, from Blueface posting an NSFW image of his medical condition online to trolls comparing the baby boy to Charles Barkley. “@theneighborhoodtalk, man, I see y’all always throwing shade. What’s up with that? What’s that about?,” he called out the gossip blog, known for chronicling the rollercoaster of his relationships in the video below.

Blueface Continues to Deny Chrisean Rock’s Son

“Naw, it’s serious. Scientifically proven,” Blue told the outlet during their chat at the Creators Inc. NYE event. He was, of course, continuing to deny his paternity of Rock’s baby. In the comments, some are wondering why Jonathan Porter continues to obsess over his Cr*zy In Love co-star if Chrisean’s namesake isn’t really his. “If it ain’t your son why won’t [you] leave the momma alone? [You] have no ties at this point,” one user points out.

As Blueface continues to deny the role he played in creating Junior’s life, his mother remains confident that the 26-year-old and Megan Thee Stallion are fixing to reunite. In 2023, Blue told Jason Lee that he and the femcee previously hooked up, at which time he “might’ve got some head.” Now. Karlissa Saffold is rooting her son on as he shoots his shot by following Meg on IG. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Dwight Howard Signs New Basketball Contract: Details

Dwight Howard is someone who has been involved in quite a bit of controversy as of late. Overall, he is someone who has been accused of sexual assault and coercive behaviors. Although he has denied any wrongdoing, there is still a lot of speculation surrounding him. In the midst of all of this, he has tried to continue his basketball career. Unfortunately for him, he has not been able to keep stable employment. While he was able to play a bit in Taiwan, he has not been able to make it back to the NBA.

However, Howard did get a bit of good news recently. According to Shams Charania, the former NBA star has found a new place to play. Essentially, he will play for a club called Strong Group which is based in the Philippines. The team is set to play in the Dubai International Basketball Championship, which is a two-week tournament-style event. Overall, this is not the biggest look, although it is one that allows him to continue his basketball playing endeavors.

Dwight Howard Goes On New Journey

At this stage, there is no telling whether or not this will actually help him achieve his goal of getting back to the NBA. Based on the allegations surrounding his name, and the amount of time he has been gone, it seems unlikely he will ever return. However, playing overseas has certainly helped him expand his brand and his fanbase. Plenty of players have gone overseas and have had a lot of success. It seems as though Howard is seeing that first-hand. Whether or not he chooses to continue in the Philippines after this tournament, remains to be seen.

Let us know what you think of this move for Howard, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sports world. Beyoncé Best Bars: 7 Times The Superstar Flexed Her Rap Skills

While many know her for her singing and performing abilities, Beyoncé has been rapping for a while now as well. Evidently, the global icon’s talents extend far beyond her powerhouse vocals. Indeed, she has effortlessly proven herself as a powerful force in the world of rap. In fact, in a recent exclusive interview with HipHopDX, Trina called Queen Bey the “No. 1 female rapper when she does rap.”

Unsurprisingly, many stars in the industry recognize her undeniable talent and impact as a rapper. There have been some who have disagreed with Trina’s statement, but the fact remains that Beyoncé is a phenomenal rapper whenever she does decide to dip her toes in those waters. Moreover, Trina has since doubled down on her claims. Nonetheless, for a glimpse into her bar-spitting portfolio, here are seven of her best bars.

7. “Flawless (Remix)” Ft. Nicki Minaj (2014)

Of course sometimes shit go down when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator.

“Flawless” is a boastful classic from Beyoncé’s acclaimed self-titled album. Featuring none other than the queen of rap herself, Nicki Minaj, the song sees the two divas exchange hard bars. Although Beyoncé was expected to be out-rapped by Minaj, her verse is just as memorable as Nicki’s. Some would even argue that Beyoncé’s verse stole the show.

6. “Formation” (2016)

Y’all haters corny with that Illuminati mess / Paparazzi, catch my fly and my cocky fresh.

Released as the lead single from the groundbreaking album Lemonade, “Formation” is a defining song in Beyonce’s catalog and easily, one of her best songs ever, period. With a blend of unapologetic lyricism and cultural resonance, her rap verses on this song are a powerful vehicle for social commentary. Rapping with effortless sophistication on this track, Beyoncé ushered her listeners into a new era with its release. Plus, the ode to Blackness is littered all around the track, as well as an appreciation for hot sauce! What’s not to love?

5. “Top Off” – DJ Khaled Ft. Jay-Z, Future, & Beyoncé (2018)

I’m the only lady here, still the realest n*gga in the room / I broke the internet, top two and I ain’t number two.

Over a year before DJ Khaled’s Father Of Asahd dropped in May 2019, “Top Off” was released as the lead single from the album. Despite being featured alongside two iconic male rappers, one of which happens to be her husband, Queen Bey arguably has the best verse on the song. While Jay-Z and Future’s parts are great, Beyoncé went off rapping flawlessly on the track. Her confidence is off the charts, evidently put on display through her verse. Overall, there’s no mistaking that she knows she’s the queen.

4. “Partition” (2014)

I sneezed on the beat and the beat got sicker / Yoncé all on his mouth like liquor.”

Another standout track from Beyoncé, on “Partition,” the artist’s rapping is sensual and exciting. On the track, she seamlessly transitions between sultry vocals and razor-sharp rap verses. From intimate revelations to bold expressions of desire, Bey’s rap delivery adds a layer of sophistication to the unforgettable track. It’s been almost a decade since it was released, but the song remains one of Beyoncé’s most unique tracks.

3. “Feeling Myself” – Nicki Minaj ft. Beyoncé (2014)

Changed the game with that digital drop / Know where you was when that digital popped, I stopped the world.”

Much like Beyonce’s digital drop, this collaboration also stopped the world. Months before “Feeling Myself” dropped, “Flawless (Remix)” had been released, so fans got two collabs from the icons in the same year. Beyoncé rapping on “Feeling Myself” was not something fans expected, but as usual, the singer is full of surprises. Not only did she spit bars on the track, but she was on par with Nicki Minaj on the track.

2. “Apes*it” – The Carters (2018)

Gimme my check, put some respek on my check / Or pay me in equity (Pay me in equity) / Watch me reverse out of debt.”

Beyoncé and Jay-Z, as The Carters, released their Hip Hop album Everything Is Love on June 16, 2023. Throughout the album, Beyoncé was in her bag, rapping like the virtuoso she is. However, on “Apes*it,” she absolutely devoured, almost eating Jay-Z up in the process as well. Not many rappers can go toe-to-toe with the rap legend, but Beyoncé did it, and arguably bested him on the song.

1. “Savage (Remix)” – Megan Thee Stallion ft. Beyoncé (2020)

Hips tick-tick when I dance / On that demon time, she might start an OnlyFans / Big B and that B stand for bands.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” was already pretty popular when it dropped in March 2020. However, the remix with Beyoncé that followed afterwards shot it into the stratosphere, and rightly so. Honestly, Queen Bey and Megan Thee Stallion delivered some of their catchiest lines on this track. Additionally, soon after its release, “Savage (Remix)” topped the Billboard Hot 100. The song is a banger and remains one of the best examples of Beyoncé rapping like it’s her full time job.

Despite the song’s popularity, Doja recently admitted that she wasn’t a fan of “Paint The Town Red” initially. Speaking with Ebro Darden for Apple Music in December, she explained: “I thought ‘Paint The Town Red’ reminded me of like, Target or like Macy’s. It reminded me of like, GAP. I don’t why. It just kind of is that. And I know it starts with a curse word and it’s like a little bit edgy in that sense and I say, ‘I’m a demon, Lord!’ Like yeah, I get that, but that song just had a very pants-up-high vibe. And you know I think strategically because I can be strategic. I think it was a good addition to the album and a strong addition to the album. I know that it’s a strong song. And I did [expect it to be as popular as it is] and I was kind of running that from a little bit. I didn’t really want to have that pants-up-high song, the goofy, kind of palatable…”

Doja Cat’s “Paint The Town Red” Finishes As Most-Streamed Rap Song Of 2023

While Doja had the most popular rap song of 2023 on Spotify, she didn’t have the most popular rap album. That honor went to Metro Boomin and his project, Heroes & Villians. Be on the lookout for further updates on Doja Cat on HotNewHipHop.

Logic Finally Delivers Update On Long Lost “Ultra 85” Project

Logic is an artist who has dropped a lot of music over the last couple of decades. Overall, he burst onto the scene with his mixtapes in the early 2010s. Subsequently, he dropped some massive albums with Under Pressure and The Incredible True Story. However, when he dropped Everybody, he got hit with quite a bit of criticism. Some felt his subject matter was repetitive, and with each subsequent release, those criticisms got louder.

However, after a brief retirement, Logic has returned with some of the best material of his career. Heading into 2024, fans have been optimistic about what he may come out with next. Well, as it turns out, he has something interesting up his sleeve. Taking to Instagram recently, he posted a blacked-out photo with the caption, “Ultra 85 2024.” For those who may not know, Ultra 85 is an album that Logic has been teasing for years at this point. In fact, some thought it was the original name for Everybody.

Regardless, the album is now set to drop this year, and fans have a reason to be excited. That said, as you can see from the comments section, some are a bit perplexed by the announcement. While people are excited, the optimism does seem at least a little bit cautious.
