Playboi Carti Responds After Fans Couldn’t Stop Roasting His New Hair

Playboi Carti is an artist who fans on the internet love to give a hard time to. Overall, a lot of this is because he tries to remain mysterious, all while being ambiguous with when he plans to drop new music. Although he still has a huge fanbase, there are plenty of fans out there who are sick of his schtick. After all, he has all but canceled his most recent tour. Not to mention, he has dropped six singles over the past few months and hasn’t even announced his album. This rollout has been a huge mess, and fans are ready to go on the attack, regardless of what Carti does.

A pretty solid example of this took place at the end of last week. As we reported, Playboi Carti popped out with a brand-new look. Overall, he was rocking some braided pigtails, and he seemed to be content with this look. Unfortunately, fans immediately pounced all over him, and made fun of the look. It all felt very mean and cruel, especially since he wasn’t doing anything particularly controversial. As it turns out, Carti saw the hate, and over the weekend, he opted to respond.

Playboi Carti Is Sick Of The Roast Sesh

In true Carti fashion, he didn’t actually say much. Instead, he just implied that he wanted people to stop playing with him. He understands that hating on him is the cool thing to do, and he is certainly annoyed about it. However, this is the internet we’re talking about here. No one ever shows mercy, not even to their favorite artists. It’s sad, but very much true.

Let us know what you think about Playboi Carti and his newest look, in the comments section down below. Are you excited about his new album I Am Music? What are your expectations for this new project? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Future Posts Up With His Children On Instagram

Future recently took some time off from being a superstar and enjoyed his life as something much greater: a father. Corny intros aside, he recently posted a picture of his children on his Instagram Story in which they were all posing for the camera and showing off their fits. While it’s not the whole family, it’s wholesome to see Fewtch spend some quality time amid what must be a very busy, hectic, and distracting time for him. Sure, he doesn’t exactly have the most amicable or simple romantic history and life, but that energy never translates negatively into his love for his kids.

Of course, Future is probably quite preoccupied right now and deserving of breaks like these thanks to the recent release of his collaborative album with longtime producer Metro Boomin, WE DON’T TRUST YOU. The project has been very successful so far, getting a lot of fan love, plenty of commercial success, and a lot of media discussion. Furthermore, tracks like “Type S**t,” “Everyday Hustle,” “Young Metro,” and more have really taken off and stand among fan favorites of 2024 so far. But it’s all kind of overshadowed right now thanks to the track with Kendrick Lamar, “Like That,” and the beef that it seems to represent.

Future’s Sons Pose For The ‘Gram For New IG Pic

On this song, the Compton lyricist disses Drake and J. Cole, and it seems like Future and Drizzy are no longer the collaborative duo they once were. On top of all the other sides and players in this feud, fans were shocked when some bars and reevaluations of previous releases pointed to a rift in their relationship. After all, they have supported each other for over a decade at this point, and crafted one of the most high-profile team-ups in rap with the What A Time To Be Alive mixtape in 2015. Regardless, this is all pretty speculative, as nobody’s really launched a whole lot of explicit jabs except Kendrick Lamar.

In fact, Metro Boomin himself seemed to shut down rumors about Pluto and The Boy being at odds. He responded to a fan on Twitter to simply “enjoy the music” and not follow the gossip for clicks. However, it’s still technically possible that he’s just denying that their beef is over a woman, not the existence of the beef itself. As such, we’ll have to wait and see for more signs, and hopefully celebrate more family time and much more beneficial and important things to champion. For more news and the latest updates on Future, log back into HNHH.

Russell Simmons Receives Lawsuit From Server In Bali, Reportedly Expresses Shock

The various accusations of sexual assault against Russell Simmons have seemingly followed him all the way to Bali, where he currently resides. Moreover, AllHipHop reports that process server Daniel John Ayoub handed him a lawsuit from fellow former music executive Drew Dixon for defamation concerning his staunch dismissal of her sexual assault claims against him. The story goes that, on March 5, Ayoub went to the Gdas Bali Health And Wellness Resort, which Simmons owns, to serve him with the filing at around 12:30PM local time. After passing two security checkpoints, he searched for him for an hour before finally spotting him.

“I recognized him as the person named in the service papers as Russell Simmons,” Ayoub reportedly expressed. “[He’s] a well-known celebrity and widely known in Bali, Indonesia as well as in the United States and other places.” Simmons had sat with some associates by the time the server approached him. “I said ‘Excuse me, Mr. Simmons, sorry to interrupt your meeting,’” he reportedly claimed. “I then handed Simmons the service documents in an envelope and said, ‘This is for you.’” According to reports, the Queens native expressed shock at the move, and made some calls to his security staff and other unknown contacts.

For those unaware, this case began when Russell Simmons vehemently denied Drew Dixon’s accusations of sexual assault against him. He called her a “liar” and insinuated that the people accusing him of this behavior simply want the fame and money that such a high-profile case brings. Dixon then sued for defamation, as she claims these comments negatively impacted her professional and personal life in a massive way. She seeks compensatory and punitive damages, and this is a separate case to another related to sexual assault from another former Def Jam executive.

Meanwhile, Dixon also accused music executive L.A. Reid of similar abhorrent behavior, who has also denied any and all claims. According to court documented reportedly obtained by AllHipHop, both legal teams are considering settlements in their respective cases. But it’s unclear what the future will hold in terms of proper evaluation of evidence, accountability, and industry change. For more news and the latest updates on Russell Simmons, check back in with HNHH.

Gisele Bundchen Doubles Down On Cheating Rumors

In her interview with The New York Times, Bundchen stated that any rumors of her cheating on Brady were false. The interview was a very emotional moment for the interview, claiming that women always take the blame in these types of situations during big time celebrity breakups. However, the former Mrs. Brady had a particular reason as to why she believes women take the blame for this situation. Bundchen stated that the sexist attitude toward women among the public could be contributed as to why so many vile rumors were spread about her personal life.

Whatever the case, both parties are ready to move on from the situation. Both have repeatedly mentioned not wanting to make this a bigger deal than it already is for the family’s sake. Flau’jae & NLE Choppa Team Up For Uber-Confident “AMF”

Flau’jae and her LSU Tigers are doing a good job defending their title so far in the March Madness tournament. The three seed has taken out each opponent, (14) Rice and (11) Middle Tennessee State, by double digits. Against the latter program, they wound up pulling away in quarters three and four, thanks in part to Louisiana State’s star guard. She posted 21 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a pair of blocks. Number four was also efficient, shooting 60% from the field, 50% from three, and 80% at the free throw line.

To help celebrate reaching the Sweet 16 again on Friday, Flau’jae decided to drop a new song “AMF.” However, this is not just a solo single, though. NLE Choppa, a first-time collaborator, joined her in the recording booth for this boastful banger. If you take a look at the lyrics, there could be a subtle shot toward Middle Tennessee State.

Listen To “AMF” By Flau’jae & NLE Choppa

I walked in so it’s up, it ain’t my fault / Hella tears in the lobby, it ain’t my fault,” Flau’jae raps. This could be a subtle reference to the star player who fouled out in the third quarter after getting tangled up with Angel Reese. A video went viral where she got really upset walking back to the bench after picking up her fifth and final foul. So much so in fact, that she wound up crying as she had to watch on from the sideline the rest of the way. “AMF” could have been made before that happened, but it is all up for speculation.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “AMF,” by Flau’jae and NLE Choppa? Do you think she can have a stable rap career regardless if she goes to the WNBA, why or why not? Is this one of her better songs as of late, why or why not? Do you think a new project is on the way soon? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Flau’jae and NLE Choppa. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

50 Cent Expresses Regret Over Vivica A. Fox

50 Cent says he regrets flirting with Vivica A. Fox after accepting the award for Best New Artist at the 2003 BET Awards. He shared a clip of the viral moment he complimented her on stage on Instagram, Sunday, admitting he needs to learn when to “shut the f*ck up.”

“I’m just happy to be present with all of these beautiful people in here… I want to thank Vivica Fox for wearing that dress too,” he said at the time. In the caption of his post, he added: “I look back at some of the sh*t that I did I gotta learn to shut the fvck up. Look at that look at end that’s trouble. [grinning face emoji] WTF.” 50 and Fox dated for a brief period afterward, but have made headlines for speaking about one another numerous times in the years since.

After 50 said that Black women “get mad” and “get angry” during an appearance on Lil Wayne‘s Young Money Radio back in 2020, Fox slammed him on Cocktails With Queens. “He just has such f*ckboy tendencies,” she said at the time. “When I read that, I was like, ‘Really?’ You would say that because you don’t want anyone to challenge you or talk to you. You want somebody to sit over there and be a pretty little dog that you can just pay. You can’t handle a Black woman, can you?” 50 ended up accusing Fox of still being in love with him afterward.

The Best Bars From Big Sean’s “Whole Time” Freestyle

On March 20th, Big Sean made waves online when he released his new freestyle “Whole Time” on social media platforms X and Instagram, along with new visuals. Setting the tone for the release of “Precision,” which arrived two days later, the track’s video features the Detroit MC dropping bar after bar as he walks around a room in his LA home. “Whole Time” uses a slowed-down sample of Pharcyde’s classic beat on “Drop” by J. Dilla. It’s laced with smart, witty writing, and a few jabs here and there. However, some lines stand out as the best on the track — affirming Sean’s position as one of the greats. Clearly, Big Sean is back, and here are seven of the best bars.

“I Just Haven’t Had The Energy To Compete With Enemies / Or Y’all So Called Bigger Three”

Big Sean opens the “Whole Time” freestyle admitting how inconsistent his career has been without necessarily stating the cause. Nonetheless, he quickly makes it known that he is not in competition with anyone. “I just haven’t had the energy to compete with enemies / Or y’all so-called bigger three,” he raps. Naturally, many who have seen this quickly compared it to Kendrick Lamar’s bombshell in his surprise cameo for Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” where he goes: “Motherf*ck the Big Three…it’s just f*ck the big three…it’s just big me…” However, there is little chance Kendrick could have been sneak dissing Big Sean, considering he would have submitted his verse long before Sean’s freestyle, though many joked that his scathing verse on “Like That” overshadowed the release of “Precision.”

“Every Verse I Lay, Fans Love To Say Man N***as Is Sleep / But 200 Million Records Up Tho, It Isn’t  A Dream / Even If You Was My Son, You Couldn’t Belittle Me

A fan of double entendres, Big Sean makes it clear in his freestyle that he won’t be put down or underestimated, even if he never achieved similar commercial success as a few of his peers. He quickly brags that he has an undeniable impact, selling over 200 million records throughout his career. On the flip side, Big Sean and his longtime girlfriend Jhene Aiko welcomed their baby boy Noah in 2022. Therefore, it’s safe to say that Noah will have to discover his own identity since there can only be one Big Sean.

How Long You Been Plotting On A B?…Back When You Was a Fly On The Wall And Dropped Out Of School To Help Ye Finish Graduation?

ANAHEIM, CA – JUNE 03: (L-R) Rappers Kanye West and Big Sean perform onstage at the Power 106 Powerhouse show at Honda Center on June 3, 2016 in Anaheim, California. (Photo by Scott Dudelson/FilmMagic)

The theories that Big Sean wrote several songs off Kanye West’s Graduation (without getting credits) continue to swirl around timelines, though it appears that we received confirmation. Top considerations of Big Sean’s Graduation contributions include “Champion,” “I Wonder,” and “Barry Bonds.” Regardless of absent evidence, however, Big Sean may have confirmed it in the “Whole Time” freestyle when he asks about the now-famous bar. This is also quite interesting, considering how important the album is to Ye’s discography. Ye also proclaimed that signing Big Sean to GOOD music was “the worst thing I’ve ever done” on an episode of Drink Champs. Big Sean subsequently retorted that Ye owed him money, when he visited the same podcast, though the two have seemingly squashed any beef between them.

B.I.G. But Somehow I Need A Shrink

Big Sean has always been vocal about his struggles with mental health, and he makes a few references throughout the freestyle. “I used to be held back and hide behind fear / but F.E.A.R is just false evidence appearing real,” he spits. However, none hit harder than “B.I.G. but somehow I need a shrink.” It’s pretty self-explanatory, but it’s been commended for his vulnerability.

INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA – MARCH 16: Rapper Big Sean performs onstage during day 2 of Rolling Loud 2024 at Hollywood Park Grounds on March 16, 2024 in Inglewood, California. (Photo by Scott Dudelson/Getty Images)

Sean seemingly intended this bar on “Whole Time” for the cultured fans. Although Hip Hop now transcends genres, it is still a lifestyle and a statement, and Big Sean was the first to speak Pow Chains into existence. He disclosed how he started the Pow Chain trend in a 2012 interview with GQ. “Verbal from the Teriyaki Boyz in Japan gave me and Kanye samples,” he said. “We were the first people to have it. Then I became homies with Verbal, and I told him it’d be so tight to have these iced-out and a little bigger… Chris Brown came up to me and was like, ‘Yo, I try to get my chains like this.’”

“Living A Dream Inside of a Dream / I Feel Like I’m Leo Inside Of Inception

Sean speeds up his flow numerous times in “Whole Time,” like with his Inception bar. However, before then, he first dropped this round, “I hate when people tell me it’s never that serious / You ain’t have to shoot your first album cover at Sears.” Rapping in the second person, he makes a few more references to when he first started his career: recording at Earl and A-Tone’s basement and the same studio as J.Dilla in just 30 minutes. The nostalgic walk down memory lane ends with his dedication to growing his career. “Before you made a dollar off of rap / But it was your full-time job though regardless

Sh*t, How Long You Knew Your Mind Was A Goldmine?”

Big Sean closes the freestyle in the most self-assured way possible. From the start of his music career, through the downtimes with the label, he has never doubted his talents. “Right now I’m talking to the old Sean / Sh*t, how long you knew was your mind was a goldmine? / Before you got signed? Sh*t, both times? / How long you knew it be like this? / N*gga, the whole time.” Big Sean is cocky all through, and he’s definitely earned the right to be.

OVO Chubbs Laughs Off Drake’s Beef With Metro Boomin & Supposed NAV Rift

Rap fans seem to be witnessing the start of a civil war within the game, and a lot of affected parties are starting to remark how overblown and dramatic it’s being presented as on social media. Moreover, OVO Chubbs -– Drake’s security guard, close friend, and much more -– recently commented on a post that reported on his partner’s current beef with a couple of opponents. Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, and supposedly NAV, Future, Rick Ross, and others are against The Boy here. However, with just a simple crying-laughing emoji to offer, it seems like Chubbs is relatively unbothered about all this.

What’s more is that, given Drake’s recent speech during last night’s (Sunday, March 24) Big As The What? tour stop with J. Cole -– who’s also caught smoke in this beef -– it seems like he’s unbothered by this, too. “I got my head held high, my back straight, I’m ten f**king toes down,” he told the crowd. “And I know no matter what there’s not another n***a that could ever f**k with me on this Earth.” This seemed more of a direct reference to Kendrick Lamar asserting the hip-hop crown, but could also apply to other spats.

A post shared by DJ Akademiks (@akademiks)

One of these, fans think, is Drake’s rift with NAV, as the latter seemed to unfollow the former on Instagram, something that Rick Ross also apparently chose as his stance. While it’s not really clear if this actually coincides with the release of Future and Metro Boomin’s new album, that’s still the prevailing narrative online. NAV is likely loyal to Metro Boomin, who has been supposedly beefing with Drizzy for a while now, as they have a collab tape together. But it’s also quite odd to see so many supposedly tight relationships crumble.

As such, a lot of fans are still calling cap on the whole affair, either it not being as deep as people think or it being impossible that the “Scholarships” duo is at odds, since Metro Boomin seemed to shut this down recently. But from what this beef story has held so far, it seems like anything is possible. Maybe we won’t ever get direct confirmation on these conflicts, but they definitely paint the rap world under a different context. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Drake.
