Nelly Furtado Confirms She & Timbaland “Have Plans” For New Music

Nelly Furtado says that she and Timbaland “have plans” to reunite for new music. She discussed the idea during a recent interview with Vogue. Together, Furtado and Timbaland worked on the singer’s third studio album, Loose, which spawned the hit singles “Promiscuous,” “Maneater,” and “Say It Right.”

“We have plans, for sure. I actually talked to Timbaland recently, and we had this amazing two-hour FaceTime call,” Furtado said. “We were talking about when we made Loose, and getting into all these stories.” The comment comes as Furtado finishes work on her seventh studio album, which will be her first in six years.

Furtado also revealed that Timbaland praised her recent EDM collaboration with Dom Dolla, “Eat Your Man.” “He told me he loved how I sounded on ‘Eat Your Man.’ It was nice to have his blessing on the new stuff, because Dom [Dolla]’s a really big fan of his as well,” said Furtado. She also said that fans can expect her new album, “soon,” but didn’t provide a specific date.

Furtado isn’t the only collaborator Timbaland is reuniting with. He also recently confirmed that he’s got an album with Justin Timberlake on the way. Speaking with Variety, he explained: “I just left working with him, we just finished up and everything sounds great. Now it’s really on him how he plans to wrap it up and how and when he envisions it to come out. With an artist of his caliber, everything has to be aligned, but it’s done and it’s coming.” Timbaland produced Timberlake’s hits “SexyBack,” “Cry Me a River,” “Summer Love,” and “My Love” as well as the entirety of Timberlake’s 2006 album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, and his 2013 album, The 20/20 Experience. Cardi B really killed it last night at the Met Gala. Few celebrities can say that they turned out amazing looks even once at the event, let alone three times. However, that’s exactly what Cardi did. She was determined to outshine everyone else three times over for the biggest night in celebrity fashion. She appeared first in a glitzy pink dress with a peacock-like train. Then, she changed into a form-fitting black ensemble with a black rose-adorned crinoline as the focal point. She kept her striking silver hair throughout the evening while simplifying her appearance with a dress with a black and pink pattern. She even churned out another look for the afterparty.

As evidenced by her previous outfit selections, which were praised by her fans on social media, Cardi B is no stranger to making a fashion statement. Her previous looks at the Met Gala have been lauded by many. This time, she wore well-designed outfits that were appropriate for the gala’s theme. Before her much talked about walk on the Met Gala carpet, Cardi B talked to Vogue about the look and the inspiration behind it. In the beginning of the video, her stylist reveals that he and Cardi planned the outfit together. “Me and Cardi talked really closely,” he said. “Just to figure out how we can pay tribute to Karl and also highlight one of our favorite houses of all time, Chanel.” Furthermore, Cardi speaks more specifically about the pieces. “It’s just Chanel and Karl. It’s a little mix, because if you see the top, it’s giving the infamous Karl suits with the tie, the white collar,” she said. “At the bottom, if you see the skirt it has the camellias.”

In the video, Cardi also opened up about feeling anxious every time she attends the Met Gala. very single time that I got to the Met, it’s fun of course,” she says. “After my first time going to the Met, I always get anxiety. And the anxieties just grow and grow and grow.” Of course, in typical Cardi fashion, she lightened up the moment immediately. “Maybe because my looks are so spectacular that people just expect every year to be more amazing than the last,” she half joked. “And it’s so hard because imagine competing with myself. Doja Cat Meows Through Entire Met Gala Interview In True Feline Fashion: Watch

One of the many guests at last evening’s Met Gala who was fully committed to the bit was Doja Cat. True to form, she stepped out in her finest feline attire in honour of Karl Lagerfeld. It was notably the California native’s first time attending the New York-based event. On top of that, she was undeniably one of the best dressed in the vicinity. Oscar de la Renta and Messika Jewelry were responsible for putting together her purr-fect outfit. The look even came complete with claw-like nails – perfect for swiping at any haters.

Aside from just looking the part, the Planet Her hitmaker acted it too. In fact, during a Vogue interview conducted by YouTuber Emma Chamberlain on the red carpet, Doja proceeded to meow in response to every question she was asked. “So, tell me about this,” the content creator said, requesting a summary of outfit details from her fellow star. Keeping a completely serious face, she looked Chamberlain in the eyes and let out a cat noise. Obviously confused about how to handle the situation, the young girl said, “Wait, so who made it?”

“Meow,” Doja responded matter of factly, as if Emma should know exactly who she was referring to. “What was your inspiration?” she further pressed, prompting a “Meow, meow, meow,” from the “Woman” songstress. Ice Spice Teases Vogue & eBay Announcment For Met Gala

Ice Spice teased a new partnership with Vogue and eBay in honor of the Met Gala in a video posted to social media on Sunday night. The New York rapper kept the details to a minimum but advised fans to keep a lookout for more information on Monday.

“Hi, It’s Ice Spice and I’m partnering with Vogue and eBay for a very special announcement coming to you on the first Monday in May,” she says in the clip. “Join me for fashion’s biggest night out. You do not want to miss this. Stay tuned.”

While the video doesn’t explicitly confirm that Ice Spice will attend the Met Gala, fans are excited at the idea. “Ice Spice went from being dismissed as a meme and a ‘one hit wonder’ with Munch, but now she has 2 Top 10s and has 3 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 at once, & also being invited to the met gala with NO ALBUM OUT,” one user wrote. “As an og fan, proud is an understatement of how i feel right now.” Another tweeted, “Ice Spice isn’t just invited to the met gala my girl is getting SPONSORED by VOGUE. She has direct lines with Anna Wintour.”

This year’s Met Gala honors the late designer Karl Lagerfeld with attendees encouraged to dress “in honor of Karl.” As for who else will be in attendance, it appears that Rihanna plans to walk the iconic red carpet. She made an appearance in New York this week, stepping out for dinner. In doing so, she rocked pieces from Chanel’s fall 1994 collection, designed by Lagerfeld himself. Kim Kardashian also recently arrived in New York City for the event. More celebrities rumored to be invited include Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and more. Aoki Lee Simmons Calls Out Vogue for Snubbing Her Mom From Their Karl Lagerfeld Tribute Cover

Kimora Lee Simmons’ 20-year-old daughter Aoki Lee Simmons called out Vogue Magazine after her mom was left off of the cover celebrating late designer Karl Lagerfeld. Kimora definitely hit the scene as one of Lagerfeld’s legendary muse’s. She signed an exclusive contract with Chanel at just 13-years-old and went on to close his haute couture show in 1989.

Recently, Vogue posted their May 2023 issue announcing it is a celebration of Karl Lagerfeld and the models ‘he loved the most’.

Their creations appear on ten of the models that Lagerfeld loved most: Anok Yai, Shalom Harlow, Kendall Jenner, Liu Wen, Adut Akech, Natalia Vodianova, Naomi Campbell, Amber Valletta, Gigi Hadid, and Devon Aoki.

Kimora’s daughter Aoki then responded on her social media defending her mom and her legacy.

Beyoncé Unveils Balmain x “RENAISSANCE” Couture

Beyoncé just unveiled some stunning outfits and designs modeled as part of her Balmain x RENAISSANCE couture. Not only that, but the pieces themselves are lavish, eye-catching, sometimes obtuse, and just as full of vision and personality as you’d expect. After all, the star singer had one of the most successful, acclaimed, and opulent albums of last year, so it’s only right that her fashion forays follow suit. Moreover, there are creative incorporations of objects like (or semblances of) chandeliers, vinyl records, and lamps. Also, she shared a picture of herself alongside designer Olivier Rousteing and a message for her collaborators.

“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” the 41-year-old wrote. “Designing alongside you was freeing—thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself. To the @voguefrance team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world.” Of course, the stunning designs appeared as part of a cover story on Vogue France. With these designs, she continues to establish herself as a visionary and as an impactful creator in many different fields. However, she can’t do it alone, and much of its greatness is owed to Rousteing.

Justin Bieber interviewed his wife, Hailey Bieber, for next month’s cover story of Vogue Australia. In the piece, the two discuss their marriage, their appreciation of SZA’s latest album, SOS, fashion mishaps, and more. The two have been together since 2018. They dated for just one month that same year before getting engaged.

When asked about her favorite aspect of their marriage, Hailey admitted that honesty is one of their strongest assets. “My favorite thing about being married is honestly the companionship I feel we have,” Hailey confessed to her husband. “Genuinely, you are my best friend in the entire world. There’s nobody I would rather spend more time with or do anything with.”

Elsewhere in the piece, Justin asked Hailey about her biggest fashion regret. She recalled a specific pink dress she rocked a few years back. “I feel like I have a lot, but the biggest one that comes to mind in this moment is, a couple of years ago I wore this pink … it was this boxy-looking vest dress, and I thought it was going to be the cutest thing ever. I wore it, and I saw the photographs after and it legitimately looked like I was inside a box,” she said. “I looked like a present, and it was so bad.”

Hailey also spoke about the music she’s been listening to, revealing that her favorite album right now is SZA’s SOS. When asked by Justin for her favorite track, she named, “Far.” SZA’s second studio album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, where it spent 10 non-consecutive weeks. The feat made it the longest-running number-one female album of the decade and the first R&B album to spend its first seven weeks atop the chart since Whitney Houston’s Whitney in 1987. SZA recently kicked off The SOS Tour in promotion of the project. Perhaps Hailey will be looking to catch the TDE singer on the road this year.

Gisele Bündchen Looks Unrecognizable In Vogue Cover Feature

Gisele Bündchen just put on a stunning new look for her latest Vogue cover feature, her first since her divorce from Tom Brady. Moreover, she showed off her hair, painted a deep shade of red, and wore some subtle but eye-catching makeup. Furthermore, she tied it all together with a sheer red dress, and all those elements render her unrecognizable. Her look is all Maison Valentino with matching red nails, Kenneth Jay Lane earrings and Patricia von Musulin bracelets. Overall, her cover (which releases on February 28) stuck to “daring” as a theme, as more snaps from the magazine show some more crazy looks.

In addition to her literal cover image, the 42-year-old posed in a Saint Laurent lambskin jacket and a body-hugging viscose dress. Also, she made sure to accessorize in style with silver earrings and bracelets, both from Patricia Von Musulin as well. Other looks she pulled off were a Dolce & Gabbana silk veil dress, a Givenchy lace bra, a satin trench coat, and an Off-White sleeveless dress. While she harkened back to some classic looks and the usual glamour, most of her offerings in the magazine remained unorthodox.

Meanwhile, this is Bündchen’s first Vogue cover since her divorce from Tom Brady finalized. The former NFL quarterback, 45, officially divorced after 13 years of marriage in October of last year. Furthermore, official paperwork of the proceedings obtained by People indicate that they declared the marriage to be “irretrievably broken.” Moreover, the former New England Patriot and Tampa Bay Buccaneer spoke on the split via Instagram.

“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” he wrote. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for so many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written.” For her part, Gisele commented on his post with some words of her own. “Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life,” she commented, adding a prayer-hands emoji. Drake & 21 Savage Settle Vogue Lawsuit Over “Her Loss” Promo: Report

The rollout for Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss was one of the best in the Canadian rapper’s career. The two delivered a fake promotional campaign that included mock performances on SNL and Colors. Additionally, they gave faux interviews alongside folks like Howard Stern. However, it all began with a makeshift Vogue cover that fans felt were real. However, it only led to bigger headaches for Drake and 21 Savage down the line.

Around the time Her Loss dropped, Vogue’s parent company filed a lawsuit against the two rappers for the fake cover. Despite Drake claiming Vogue and Anna Wintour gave him their blessing, Conde Naste confirmed they “have not endorsed [“Her Loss”] in any way.” Additionally, they stated that they’ve made numerous attempts to have the fake cover stories removed from their social media profiles. The judge immediately granted a temporary injunction but only recently have the parties come to an agreement.

Drake & 21 Savage Put Vogue Lawsuit In The Past

Per TMZ, Drake and 21 Savage finally reached a settlement with Vogue in the lawsuit. At this point, it’s unclear how much the two coughed up to put the case to rest. However, sources close to the publication said that they settled the lawsuit outside of court. Conde Naste asked for $4M in damages at least. It seems as though Drake and 21 Savage can finally put this issue behind them and put their focus on their upcoming tour. 

Prior to reaching the settlement, Drake and 21 Savage removed all posts of the fake Vogue cover from socials. Sources close to the Canadian artist said he was confused by the publication’s frustrations since NPR and Howard Stern were on board with it. Condé Nast general counsel said the settlement money will go towards “[bolstering] our ongoing creative output, including Vogue editorial.”

“As a creative company, we of course understand our brands may from time to time be referenced in other creative works,” Bowes said in an internal memo obtained by Semafar. “In this instance, however, it was clear to us that Drake and 21 Savage leveraged Vogue’s reputation for their own commercial purposes and, in the process, confused audiences who trust Vogue as the authoritative voice on fashion and culture.”
