Kanye West’s Balmain Jacket Appears In Kim Kardashian Holiday Pics, He Takes Kids To Lakers

The last few months of Kanye West’s life have been mostly about finishing and promoting his mysterious Vultures project. As has become tradition with the Yeezy founder’s rollouts, this one has been tumultuous and riddled with postponements. During an album listening event earlier this month we got a taste of what to come. At least one song is a collaboration with 10-year-old North, his eldest child. We’ve seen her showing her famous father plenty of love this year, from recreating one of his most famous looks for Halloween to flying overseas to be with Ye in Dubai as he finished his LP.

In the fall, sources were suggesting that West was planning to remain in the Middle East for Christmas. It was said that ex-wife Kim Kardashian might fly their four children to Italy to be with the DONDA rapper and his new partner, Bianca Censori. We now know they came to a different agreement. The evening of Santa’s visit the kids were at the annual Kar-Jenner festive gathering. Blue Ivy Carter also spent her night at the star-studded function. On Christmas Day, North and her two little brothers hit up the Lakers game with Kanye.

As Page Six reports, Chicago West didn’t appear to be with them, though she did join Kim, North, Saint, and Psalm for their family photos which appeared on Kardashian’s IG today (December 26). Everyone is dressed to the nines, as expected. However, his firstborn was sure Ye’s presence was at least felt by wearing his Balmain jacket from the 2016 Met Gala, even if Kimye isn’t on strong enough terms to post for portraits together at this time.

Ice Spice’s Debut Met Gala Look Is Giving “Princess Diana”

The Met Gala has barely begun, but already, we’re seeing what may be some of the evening’s most impressive looks. Co-chair Michaela Coel absolutely stunned in a golden Schiaparelli gown. Elsewhere, La La Anthony undeniably gave major goddess in her white gown. A fresher face who we’re excited to see make their debut at the event today (May 1) is Ice Spice, who was specially selected as Anna Wintour’s guest for the evening.

The 23-year-old worked with designers at Balmain for her gown, which came with a train that looks almost as long as another of the rap diva. It’s a relatively simple white piece, with flirtatious, sheer panels of fabric running along either side of her body. The elegant yet statement-making piece feels fitting following the arrival of her “Princess Diana (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj. If anyone deserves the title of the people’s princess in 2023, it’s obviously Ice Spice – especially in this dress.

Rather than wearing her hair in the famous red curls we’ve come to love, the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker opted for a sleek, straight look with side-swept bangs. Fans were quick to notice that she’s not carrying a purse in hand for once, as she frequently does in her photos. Instead, she’s got a bedazzled camera, perhaps for capturing memories from her first time inside the Met Gala on film to cherish (and hopefully share on Instagram).

After sauntering down the carpet and sitting pretty for plenty of photos, the rising star briefly spoke with La La Anthony. “I’m just so grateful,” she gushed of her experience so far. “I was really nervous, like, approaching the carpet. Once I heard everybody screaming, I felt better.” Keep scrolling to see more of Ice Spice’s 2023 Met Gala content, and tap back in with HNHH later this evening to catch more iconic outfits from your favourite celebrities.

Beyoncé Praised Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing And Reflected On The ‘Freeing’ Design Experience For Their New Collection

Today, just a day after announcing the end of her partnership with Adidas for Ivy Park over creative differences, Beyoncé got to announce some good news in the form of a new collection with Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing. Rousteing, who was inspired by Beyoncé’s new album Renaissance, said of the collection, “I was sketching and sketching as I listened, and sometimes you can’t control the emotion of your sketch… it wasn’t something I was supposed to be doing but I was just inspired by the music to do it.”

Over on Instagram, Beyoncé offered her thoughts on the collection, thanking Rousteing and Balmain and calling the experience “freeing.” “Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” she wrote. “Designing alongside you was freeing—thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself. To the @voguefrance team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world.”

The collaboration marked the singer’s second major collaboration with the French design house. The first, in 2018, produced the pieces that she wore during her historic headlining set at Coachella. Rousteing was responsible for that collection as well, which consisted of HBCU-inspired pieces like hoodies and t-shirts as well as the elegant, diamond-draped gown she wore on stage.

Each of the new looks is inspired by a different track from Renaissance, which you can check out on Vogue‘s website.

Beyoncé And Balmain Co-Designed The Glamorous ‘Renaissance Couture’ Collection, Inspired By ‘Renaissance’

Beyoncé has the fashion girlies buzzing, and they are ready to swarm all over her latest business endeavor. After news broke that the “Cuff It” singer and sports clothing manufacturer Adidas would be splitting ways due to “creative differences,” fans were curious as to what that meant. Now, with the announcement of her latest fashion collaboration, any residual confusion has been cleared up.

In a new interview with Vogue, Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing revealed that the “Flawless” singer and the fashion house had been secretly working on a line dedicated to her Grammy Award-winning album, Renaissance.

Each garment in the 17-look couture collection, titled Renaissance Couture, was designed to emote lyrics and concepts from the vocalist’s album. When asked how he was able to get the entertainer onboard with the idea, Rousteing, replied, “I contacted Marni [Senofonte, Beyoncé’s stylist] and B. And I said, ‘honestly, I want to create a couture collection with you.’ And they were like: ‘Wow, that’s a big surprise.’”

Just like with the record-breaking album, Rousteing points out that this collaboration will also go down in the record books.

“This appears to be the first time that a Black woman has overseen the couture offering from a historic Parisian house,” the designer said. “And those designs were created in partnership with the first Black man to ever oversee all the collections at an historic Parisian house.”

By no means is this the first time that Beyoncé and Balmain have worked together. In fact, the high-end fashion brand played an intricate part in the beloved garments during the singer’s epic Coachella performance, which went on to be immortalized in her documentary film Homecoming.

Beyoncé Unveils Balmain x “RENAISSANCE” Couture

Beyoncé just unveiled some stunning outfits and designs modeled as part of her Balmain x RENAISSANCE couture. Not only that, but the pieces themselves are lavish, eye-catching, sometimes obtuse, and just as full of vision and personality as you’d expect. After all, the star singer had one of the most successful, acclaimed, and opulent albums of last year, so it’s only right that her fashion forays follow suit. Moreover, there are creative incorporations of objects like (or semblances of) chandeliers, vinyl records, and lamps. Also, she shared a picture of herself alongside designer Olivier Rousteing and a message for her collaborators.

“Thank you @olivier_rousteing and @balmain for bringing RENAISSANCE to life in couture,” the 41-year-old wrote. “Designing alongside you was freeing—thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, to take artistic risks, to push boundaries and to freely express myself. To the @voguefrance team, thank you for trusting in our vision and sharing it with the world.” Of course, the stunning designs appeared as part of a cover story on Vogue France. With these designs, she continues to establish herself as a visionary and as an impactful creator in many different fields. However, she can’t do it alone, and much of its greatness is owed to Rousteing.

Beyoncé Shows Off Balmain x RENAISSANCE Couture

“Dear @beyonce creating this couture collection with you was more than a dream,” Olivier, who is the creative director for Balmain since 2011, penned on IG. “You inspired me everyday since the beginning of my career. Renaissance is more than an album it’s FREEDOM , it’s STRENTGH , LOVE and BATTLE FOR A BETTER FUTURE. 16 coutures couture looks for 16 songs and now our couture Renaissance is out and I have tears in my eyes when I see all what we did. Thank you for being You. For creating together on the rhythm of Renaissance and sharing both arts: music and Fashion together. You were right it’s our Virgo Power and I love You forever.

“You know, I was just a kid from Bordeaux dreaming about Fashion, dreaming of finding my place in this industry that has been really tough,” he continued in a separate post. “But today I celebrate 2 incredible chapters. One is this incredible Renaissance couture designed with you @beyonce, inspiring me everyday and sketching alongside with you is UNIQUE and that’s definitely what you are. Two is the honor to be on VOGUE COVER. Fashion industry hasn’t always be easy on me and thank you @eugenietrochu to believe and let express our ART. People sometimes forget how hard it is to create your own space in this industry but thank you for being supportive and show the world what I believe in, what I’m fighting for, simply who we are.” Check out the incredible designs above and stick around on HNHH for the latest on Beyoncé.

Beyoncé Dons Black & White Balmain To Virtually Accept Her BRIT Awards: Video

There’s no one doing it quite like Beyoncé. Since making a triumphant return to the stage during her legendary performance in Dubai, the “Telephone” singer has continued to prove that her talent truly knows no bounds. Most recently, her hard work was recognized on Saturday (February 11) night at the BRIT Awards.

The Texas-born star didn’t make the flight overseas to accept her trophies in person. Instead, she gave a virtual speech to the crowd in London. As Daily Mail notes, Queen B won in two categories – International Artist of the Year and International Song of the Year for “BREAK MY SOUL.” Though she didn’t walk the event’s red carpet, she still made sure to dress up in designer duds before snapping a few photos for the ‘gram.

While thanking those who gave her the awards, Beyoncé said, “Thank you so much for this incredible recognition. I’d like to say thank you to all of my friends out there in Britain for your continuous support over the years.” Afterward, she reminded viewers that this is only the beginning of RENAISSANCE‘s three acts. “I’ll see y’all on tour,” the Destiny’s Child alum promised. “Thank you so much for this honour!”

In her IG photo dump, Bey proudly poses with one of her sleek new trophies. Looking as fashionable as ever, her black and white Balmain outfit perfectly hugs her curvy hips and behind. On the unique dresses’ arms, striped fur creates an unmissable air of luxury and fun.

The majority of headlines surrounding Beyoncé lately have been focusing on her undeniably successful RENAISSANCE album. The project had an impressive run at the Grammy Awards. Consequently, it led the singer to tie the record for most trophies granted to one artist. However, that’s not all people have been talking about.

During a chat with Art of Dialogue, Big Gipp shared his thoughts on Bey’s marriage to Jay-Z. During the interview, he specifically said that, if Tupac were still alive, the “Baby Boy” hitmaker would be with him instead of Hov. Read the Atlanta rapper’s full thoughts on the matter here, and check back later for more music news updates.
