Lizzo Postpones Another Tour Date Due To Illness

The strain of Lizzo’s hectic schedule is beginning to show. The artist has been keeping busy with shows all over the continent. She also recently attended the Met Gala in New York. Lizzo is currently in the midst of the second leg of her “Special” tour, which began in Knoxville, Tennessee. She invited several local drag queens to perform with her on stage during the show’s finale, which was a daring act of defiance against the state’s ongoing legal ban on drag. Lizzo’s actions are proof that the local drag scene is thriving despite the ban.

Lizzo shared the event with her followers on social media and thanked the drag queens for representing Tennessee with such pride. A rainbow of hearts was present in the background of the video, and her followers and fellow queens flooded the comments section with sincere messages of thanks. On her tour, Lizzo will visit Louisiana, Missouri, and Memphis. Currently, Missouri is attempting to pass legislation that would make adult cabaret performances on public property illegal. Meanwhile, Louisiana, a state with a conservative lean, may do the same in the future. Unfortunately, Lizzo’s prideful prowess has taken a hit after she got sick following the Met Gala.

Lizzo’s Mature Health Response

Late last week, Lizzo posted a video to her Instagram to speak directly to fans. In the video, she explains that she is extremely sick. As such, her Montreal date had to be postponed. Sadly for Lizzo fans, the same happened to her Hartford, CT date just a few days later. The pop star once again took to social media to explain the situation. “Hello Hartford, it is me. As you know, I canceled my Montreal show ’cause I was experiencing extreme flu-like symptoms,” Lizzo said. “I tested for COVID and it’s negative. However, I did test positive for strep throat. Though I’m feeling stronger, my body, my throat is still extremely raw and swollen.”

Although it is disappointing news, Lizzo points out that it is for the best. “In the past, I have pushed myself because I always want to bring you guys an incredible show. And I want to bring you guys the best of me,” she added. “And I’m realizing as I mature that this is not the best of me. I need to heal so that I can be the artist that you guys deserve and maintain my body. Still hurts to swallow, still hurts to speak, but it really hurts to cancel.” Stay tuned to HNHH for updates on Lizzo’s concert schedule.

Lizzo Cancels Montreal Concert Over Health Concerns

Lizzo’s insane schedule may finally be catching up with her. Between rushing to New York to attend the Met Gala to touring around the continent, she’s kept pretty busy. The artist is currently in the midst of the second leg of her Special tour. It started at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN. During the show’s climax, she brought several drag queens from the area onstage to perform with her. It was a bold and daring act of defiance against the current legal situation surrounding drag in the state. Despite the ban, reports indicate that the local drag scene is thriving. Lizzo’s actions serve as evidence of this.

Lizzo took to social media to share the moment with her followers. She expressed gratitude towards the drag queens for showcasing their pride in Tennessee. The singer captioned the video with a rainbow of hearts, and her fans and fellow queens flooded the comments with heartfelt messages, clearly moved by Lizzo’s actions. Lizzo’s tour will take her to Memphis, Tennessee, as well as Missouri and Louisiana. Missouri is currently trying to pass a law that would criminalize adult cabaret performances on public property, while Louisiana, being a conservative-leaning state, may see anti-drag legislation in the future.

Lizzo’s Unscheduled Break

Lizzo’s busy schedule seems to be impacting her health, as evidenced by recent events. Despite being on tour and performing at major events such as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and the 2023 Met Gala, she was unable to perform at her scheduled concert in Montreal due to health concerns. Initially, news of her flu-like symptoms was shared on Twitter, but her profile is now private. In a video posted on her official Instagram, Lizzo apologized to her fans and confirmed that she would not be performing.

“I had a sore throat last night and a headache and went to bed,” Lizzo said in the video. “I woke up this morning, and my body is weak, and I have chills, and my head hurts. Normally, if it’s just a cold, I’d shower, I’d eat, take some medicine, and it gets better. But this is getting worse.” Lizzo remained apologetic throughout the video, telling fans that she would find a new day to play the city. “I think it’s the flu, and I have to make the unfortunate decision to cancel today. I want to find a date to reschedule, but I just can’t perform tonight.” Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates on Lizzo’s tour.

Cardi B Talks Anxiety In Behind The Scenes Met Gala Video

Cardi B really killed it last night at the Met Gala. Few celebrities can say that they turned out amazing looks even once at the event, let alone three times. However, that’s exactly what Cardi did. She was determined to outshine everyone else three times over for the biggest night in celebrity fashion. She appeared first in a glitzy pink dress with a peacock-like train. Then, she changed into a form-fitting black ensemble with a black rose-adorned crinoline as the focal point. She kept her striking silver hair throughout the evening while simplifying her appearance with a dress with a black and pink pattern. She even churned out another look for the afterparty.

As evidenced by her previous outfit selections, which were praised by her fans on social media, Cardi B is no stranger to making a fashion statement. Her previous looks at the Met Gala have been lauded by many. This time, she wore well-designed outfits that were appropriate for the gala’s theme. Fans noted that her first two outfits were reminiscent of Karl Lagerfeld’s iconic looks, and even those who were unaware of the source of inspiration praised her sense of style.

Even Cardi Gets Anxious Sometimes

Before her much talked about walk on the Met Gala carpet, Cardi B talked to Vogue about the look and the inspiration behind it. In the beginning of the video, her stylist reveals that he and Cardi planned the outfit together. “Me and Cardi talked really closely,” he said. “Just to figure out how we can pay tribute to Karl and also highlight one of our favorite houses of all time, Chanel.” Furthermore, Cardi speaks more specifically about the pieces. “It’s just Chanel and Karl. It’s a little mix, because if you see the top, it’s giving the infamous Karl suits with the tie, the white collar,” she said. “At the bottom, if you see the skirt it has the camellias.”

In the video, Cardi also opened up about feeling anxious every time she attends the Met Gala. very single time that I got to the Met, it’s fun of course,” she says. “After my first time going to the Met, I always get anxiety. And the anxieties just grow and grow and grow.” Of course, in typical Cardi fashion, she lightened up the moment immediately. “Maybe because my looks are so spectacular that people just expect every year to be more amazing than the last,” she half joked. “And it’s so hard because imagine competing with myself. That is sickening.” What did you think of Cardi’s Met Gala looks? Let us know in the comments!

Diddy And Doja Cat Host Met Gala Afterparty

Diddy and Doja Cat capped their night at the Met Gala with a big party. The pair hosted a glamorous afterparty for the event at The Box nightclub in New York City. The event was attended by a plethora of celebrities, including Cardi B, Paris Hilton, Emily Ratajkowski, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny. The hosts pulled out all the stops. Nearly-nude women danced on a platform for guests. Another woman flew back and forth on a swing hanging between the ceiling’s chandeliers. It was a party for the books.

The stars in attendance were all dressed to the nines, as well. Doja Cat looked stunning in a 1920s-inspired outfit. The singer no longer had her cat face prosthetic on, but her afterparty outfit did feature cat ears. No word on whether or not she continued to vape. Emily Ratajkowski wore a stunning backless sequined dress. Diddy donned a shimmering black silk top that exposed his chest. Jared Leto, who wore a cat mask at the Met Gala, carried the mask at the afterparty and mingled with other guests.

Diddy and Yung Miami treated the Met Gala as a “date night.” Recently, Miami told The Cut that the two had broken up. “We’re still friends! We’re still good friends!” she said in the interview. “But we’re single. That’s not my man. We had our own situation. I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were f*cking with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him.” However, it looks like they may not be as broken up as they thought. The two spoke on their relationship status while on the carpet for the event.

“We definitely go together real bad!” Diddy said of their relationship. “She’s my date for the night. … We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles. This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.” Yung Miami chimed in to agree with Diddy, simply saying that it was indeed a good date night. What do you think of Diddy’s afterparty? Janelle Monaé Dances On Bar In Bikini At Met Gala Afterparty

Janelle Monaé is enjoying every bit of the spotlight. Even though the artist hasn’t been releasing much music over the last few years, that certainly doesn’t mean she has been out of view. Monaé has appeared in several acting roles, including a critically acclaimed turn in last year’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The film was a sequel to the hit 2020 film Knives Out, which starred Daniel Craig. Monaé’s role in the film even earned her several awards. However, many fans have been eager for new music. The artist’s last release, Dirty Computer, was released more than five years ago.

Luckily for fans, Monaé has still managed to keep fans satisfied with a few singles. Since her last album, she has also released the singles “Stronger” and “Say My Name (Hell You Talmbout).” Additionally, she contributed to the Lady & The Tramp soundtrack with her song, “That’s Enough.” Earlier this year, fans finally got more music from Monaé. In February, she released her latest single, “Float,” after a two-year break. While Monae showcases her vocal skills in the song, she also incorporates hip-hop elements. It was a bit of a switch-up in style for her, but “Float” is a catchy tune that’s likely to get stuck in your head.

Janelle Monaé Lets Loose

Last night, Janelle Monaé was in attendance for the Met Gala. Upon arrival, she was demure and elegant. She paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, as was the theme of the event, with her stylish red carpet look. When she arrived on the scene, she was wearing an oversized monochrome Thom Browne coat. Then, in a stunning reveal, she stripped it off to show off her body in a two-piece and see-through hoop skirt combo. Monaé owned the look and flaunted her trim figure as she walked up the stairs to the gala.

At the afterparty, Monaé let loose completely. In a video posted to Instagram by The Shade Room, the singer can be dancing on top of the bar at The Boom Boom Room in NYC. In the spicy clip, Monaé is adorned in the same two-piece from the carpet look sans-hoop skirt. A crowd cheers her on from behind as she moves her body to the DJ’s beat. It looks like she’s really living her best life. What do you think of the clip? Sound off in the comments below!

2023 Met Gala: Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Cardi B, And More All Rumoured Invitees

As April comes to a close, the next major event celebrities have on their social calendar is the annual Met Gala. Taking place in New York City, this year’s theme is a tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld. The designer left an incredible, albeit tainted, legacy behind in the world of fashion. At this time, it remains unknown which stars we’ll see sauntering down the red carpet in their designer duds. Recent years have seen a slew of famous faces attend. However, rumour has it that Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has cut down the guest list considerably for 2023.

On Saturday (April 22), @PopHive revealed a list of stars who are rumoured to be attending the upcoming gala. Nicki Minaj is apparently going to be in attendance after working with Burberry on her all-black look last year. Her rival rap diva, Cardi B, is also said to have received an invite. For her part, the mother of two teamed up with Versace for her spectacular golden gown in 2022.

2023’s Rumoured Met Gala Guests

Perhaps the name fans were most excited to see is Beyoncé. She hasn’t stepped out for the Met Gala since 2016. Following the arrival of her RENAISSANCE album last summer, the Houston native has been emerging back into the spotlight. We certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see her bring one of the best looks of the evening. Others who have previously donned noteworthy duds at the party include Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and Zendaya.

All of them could potentially show up on the first Monday of May, along with Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Bad Bunny, and Jenna Ortega. Though they’ve made it on the list for several years past, it’s been said that none of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters are welcome this time. Keep scrolling to see some of our favourite past Met Gala looks from rumoured 2023 attendees. 2023 Met Gala: Kardashian-Jenners May Miss Out On Invites From Anna Wintour

The first Monday in May is still several weeks away, but already, the guest list for the upcoming Met Gala is weighing heavily on the minds of fashion lovers. Last year’s theme, America: An Anthology of Fashion, brought out plenty of interesting looks (not to mention some major misses), and 2023 is sure to bring even more. According to recent, rumours, however, this may be the first time we don’t see any of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters walk the red carpet in their designer duds.

This time around, patrons will be honouring a late designer and style icon with the Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty theme. Throughout his illustrious career, the creative designed for the likes of Jean Patou, Chloé, and Valentino. He sadly passed away in 2019 at the age of 85, having fulfilled many lifetimes worth of dreams and goals.

The 2023 Met Gala

Due to Lagerfeld’s unbelievable archive of creations, fashion lovers are ecstatic to see which of them will resurface on the red carpet later this year. As of late, many are eager to know what this guest list looks like as well following 2022’s star-studded affair. As Page Six notes, this was the first time we saw the Kardashian-Jenner family at the Met Gala together. Previously, Kim, Kendall, and Kylie, as well as matriarch Kris Jenner were lucky enough to attend.

This time, however, Vogue‘s editor-in-chief is reportedly cracking down on her invitations and doesn’t plan on sending any to the reality starlets. Of course, there’s no official confirmation of this gossip. Additionally, there are conflicting reports from the Kardashian-Jenner’s insiders denying their banishment from the annual celebration. Last year, Kim’s Marilyn Monroe dress undeniably overshadowed some of the evening’s other major fashion moments, which could be why they’re being “punished.”

Kardashian-Jenners Attend Over the Years

The mother of four’s first Met Gala was in 2013 when she joined Kanye West while carrying their first child. At the time, Kardashian faced no shortage of backlash and criticism, which she addressed in 2019. “I went home [and] cried of insecurity,” she wrote on Twitter. “I didn’t know anyone [and] I’m sure no one wanted me there.”

In the time since, she and her sisters have gone on to break necks in New York, wearing designs from some of the biggest names in fashion. The SKIMS founder’s incredible roster of gowns comes from names like Vivienne Westwood, Balenciaga, Balmain, and Givenchy, just to name a few.
