JT Recalls A Fan Trying To Rap Battle Her At An Afterparty: “Y’all Getting Bold.”

JT says that a fan approached her at an afterparty in an attempt to go against her in a rap battle. She explained the incident on social media and clearly wasn’t feeling it. She began by explaining that the fan pulled up on her at the club with the challenge and it was not the right environment.

“I’m like, ‘This ain’t even a performance. This is an afterparty and you wanna pull up on me and battle rap again sideways?’ Y’all getting bold. Pulling up on me at an afterparty and trying to battle rap is bold.” From there, she told her fans to behave and accused them of “getting out of hand.”

When LiveBitez shared the clip on Instagram, fans had mixed reactions. “Wait I thought she been doing the battle thing the whole tour? She even posted about battling some of her fans. That’s probably what they were thinking,” one user wrote. Another labeled the confusion a generation difference. “As a rapper you can be called out at any time,” they wrote. “I don’t know why this new generation is acting slow.” Check out JT’s full recollection of the incident below.

Travis Scott Cutting Sexyy Red’s Music At Wireless Fest Afterparty Goes Viral

A video of Travis Scott cutting Sexyy Red’s music mid-performance is going viral on social media. In the clip, Red can be seen rapping alongside Scott when he suddenly cuts her music. As she looks over in confusion, Scott can be heard saying “nahhh” as the crowd boos and jeers. The clip appears to come from an afterparty the pair threw at Tape, an exclusive nightclub in London, back in July. The pair rolled up after Scott brought out Red as part of his set at Wireless Fest earlier in the day. Check out the video below.

Tape posted a bevvy of videos from the afterparty on their social media. Many of them featured Scott and Red performing from behind the DJ’s desk. In one, Red performs “SkeeYee” for the crowd. However, they weren’t the only ones there. Latto also showed out, performing “Big Energy” for the crowd before declaring that it was “shots o’clock.” Other performers at the afterparty included Bryon Messina and Bryson Tiller.

Travis Scott Brings Out Rob49 To Perform “TOPIA Twins”

Meanwhile, one person who isn’t getting their music cut by Scott is Rob49. The rapper was brought out by Scott during a Circus Maximus tour stop in Phoenix. Together, the pair performed “TOPIA Twins”, their collab on Scott’s recently-released album, UTOPIA. For many, the track is one of the most underrated and lowkey hardest-hitting features on the album. The song, which also features 21 Savage, peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Elsewhere, early returns for the tour suggest that fans are all-in on Scott. Despite having to abruptly the third show of the run, sales projections suggest the tour could make over $80 million. That’s widely impressive for a tour that’s doing less than 50 shows in total. Furthermore, merch sales are allegedly exceeding $1 million per night. Additionally, Scott became the first rapper to sell out SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. While the numbers pale slightly in comparison to the likes of Drake, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé, it is pertinent to remember that those tours were much bigger in scope than what Scott is doing.

Lil Baby Superfan Says She’s Over The Rapper Following Afterparty Interaction

Looks like Lil Baby’s lost a fan. A woman has posted video from a concert afterparty in which Lil Baby appears to tell her “don’t touch me” when she tries to get his attention. “Yall can have @LilBaby i mean i respect ppl privacy but im a fan i just fanned out at the moment. i paid for front row seats and VIP at the after party for this?! i thought he was humble but “don’t touch me” is wildddddddddd! He lost my support,” the woman wrote on what appears to be TikTok.

Overall, it’s not be a great week for Lil Baby in terms of his fanbase. People were reminded of the tragic shooting that occurred at a concert earlier this year. However, the story is one of mixed blessing. While it’s terrible that Lil Baby has the shadow of the shooting hanging over him, the victim appears to be doing well. CEO Jizzle, a cousin on Young Dolph, posted to Instagram to talk about how his recovery is going. Jizzle showed himself getting ready for the day, listening to music and going about with a special despite the extensive bandages on his body.

Lil Baby Appears To Diss Blueface

Meanwhile, the rapper himself is up to some antics of his own. ”Put a hunnit up a million times the fuck is a Blueface?” Baby rapped in a snippet of a new song he previewed on Instagram. Baby’s beef with Blueface is an interesting one. It’s very one-sided, with Blueface causing most of the drama in it. However, it appears that Baby is finally putting his foot down.

As far as anyone can tell, the beef stems from Blueface disrespecting Chrisean Rock about how she interacted with Baby at a party back in February. “I think you be letting too many rap n-ggas be in your face. “Y’all had an empowerment conversation at 5 a.m? With him all up in your face like this? He damn near up in my face, cuz! He wanna fuck me too? Cuh wanna fuck me? Any n-gga in your face is in my face … It makes no sense,” Blueface ranted at his on-off partner.

Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, And Latto Show Out At Wireless Fest After Party

However, Scott didn’t perform his July 8 set at London’s Wireless Festival entirely alone. At one point in the proceedings, he brought out Sexyy Red, who performed alongside him in a red cropped hoodie and black leggings. Red is currently enjoying a meteoric rise to stardom. She earned major industry attention for her track “Pound Town”, which was later remixed by Nicki Minaj. That remix, dubbed “Pound Town 2”, peaked at #66 on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed that with her second mixtape, Hottest Hood Princess.

Red performed “Pound Town” and “SkeeYee” while getting major hype from Scott. However, it’s unclear wherever there is anything more to this guest appearance. It’s very possible that Scott was simply giving some airtime to an up-and-coming star. However, could this be a backdoor teaser for a feature on Utopia? After all, Utopia will have some features. The Weeknd reportedly appears on the album, although that’s about all we know at the moment. However, Scott and Red didn’t just leave it at a guest appearance during his set.

Scott And Red Perform “SkeeYee” At Tape

Tape London promotes itself as an “exclusive nightclub”. The club can be found on Hanover Square in the affluent neighborhood of Mayfair. Once hosting the London homes of the social elite, the area has a much more commercial feel to it now. Behind Tape is an Elizabeth Line entrance for Bond Street tube station. The London office of Vogue can also be found in Hanover Square. 15 Hanover Square, where Tape is now located, once belonged to George Orby Wombwell, 4th Baronet. Wombwell, a former soldier who survived the Charge of the Light Brigade, was well-known for his fashionable taste.

Tape posted a host of videos from the official Wireless afterparty on their social media.

Jay-Z Performs Classics At Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

Pharrell had some tricks up his sleeve for his first-ever runway show as the new creative director of Louis Vuitton. Zendaya, Rihanna, & A$AP Rocky, and Kim Kardashian all came through to witness Pharrell, along with Jay-Z and Beyonce. However, Jay didn’t limit his appearance to a front-row seat. The billionaire mogul also hit the stage with Pharrell at the afterparty to dive into a few of his biggest records, including one of his collaborations with Kanye West that would only be appropriate to perform in France’s capital.

Jay hit the stage, dripped out in a custom Louis Vuitton jacket, as he performed records like “N***as In Paris,” “PSA,” and his verse on MC Panjabi’s “Beware (Remix).” Of course, he also joined Pharrell on stage to deliver a performance of their single “ I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)” and “Frontin’.” Clearly, Pharrell had to do it big at the Louis Vuitton show which debuted the LV’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 Collection. The stage itself was located in front of the Louis Vuitton headquarters.

Jay-Z & More Pop Out For Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

Pharrell pulled from his wheelhouse of collaborators for his debut as Louis Vuitton’s Creative Director. Besides Jay-Z touching the stage, Skateboard P also pulled a few of his close collaborators for the presentation. Pusha T and Malice walked the runway, debuting a new Clipse single that seemingly addresses the beef with Jim Jones. The Dipset rapper hasn’t responded so far. However, it seems like the Louis Vuitton runway show could be the beginning of a surgical summer.

The legendary producer spoke to WWD ahead of the Louis Vuitton show where he detailed his journey to get to the position at LV. “Every day, I gotta pinch myself because it’s an appointment, and I was chosen,” he told WWD. “Pietro saw something, and I’m touched by that and I honor that every day.” Check out the footage from Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton after party above and sound off with your thoughts in the comment section below.

Finesse2Tymes Afterparty In Atlanta Reportedly Disrupted By Shooting

An Atlanta afterparty reportedly hosted by Finesse2Tymes allegedly resulted in a shooting, and a clip surfaced online of patrons running out of the venue. Moreover, the Memphis MC performed at the city’s Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash, which featured a host of other artists. As of writing this article, very little details emerged as to this incident other than the online clip, so it would be wise to take the footage with a grain of salt. Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the first instance of this nature to take place at one of the rapper’s events. Back in January, two people received charges for a shooting that left three injured after a fight broke out at one of his shows.

On the other hand, other antics reported in relation to his live shows have fortunately been less life-threatening. For example, Finesse2Tymes recently blasted a concert promoter for not having enough money for him to perform at a scheduled show. While many reacted with little sympathy, given that it still resulted in a canceled show, it goes to show that these live settings bring about a lot of complications behind the scenes. Hopefully this latest reported incident wasn’t as a result of those responsible for the afterparty.

Alleged Footage Of Shooting Aftermath At Finesse2Tymes Afterparty

Regardless, the 31-year-old’s live shows tragically represented what incidents could happen at a concert. His show with GloRilla resulted in a crowd surge that caused three deaths and other injuries. Both artists expressed their sympathies to the families of those lost, and recent developments hint at an incoming lawsuit. These incidents all occurred under different circumstances for different reasons, and it goes to show the unpredictability and danger that artists like Finesse2Tymes and promoters have to look out for with a heavy heart.

Meanwhile, these might be circumstances that many believed to cause the rapper to skip his own events. To elaborate, he responded to claims that he sent his brother out to perform at a club in his place, calling cap on all accusations. As one of the hottest rappers coming out of Memphis right now, he’ll surely have to keep his eye out to prevent these incidents from occurring again. Diddy And Doja Cat Host Met Gala Afterparty

Diddy and Doja Cat capped their night at the Met Gala with a big party. The pair hosted a glamorous afterparty for the event at The Box nightclub in New York City. The event was attended by a plethora of celebrities, including Cardi B, Paris Hilton, Emily Ratajkowski, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Bunny. The hosts pulled out all the stops. Nearly-nude women danced on a platform for guests. Another woman flew back and forth on a swing hanging between the ceiling’s chandeliers. It was a party for the books.

The stars in attendance were all dressed to the nines, as well. Doja Cat looked stunning in a 1920s-inspired outfit. The singer no longer had her cat face prosthetic on, but her afterparty outfit did feature cat ears. No word on whether or not she continued to vape. Emily Ratajkowski wore a stunning backless sequined dress. Diddy donned a shimmering black silk top that exposed his chest. Jared Leto, who wore a cat mask at the Met Gala, carried the mask at the afterparty and mingled with other guests.

Diddy and Yung Miami treated the Met Gala as a “date night.” Recently, Miami told The Cut that the two had broken up. “We’re still friends! We’re still good friends!” she said in the interview. “But we’re single. That’s not my man. We had our own situation. I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were f*cking with each other hard. We were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him.” However, it looks like they may not be as broken up as they thought. The two spoke on their relationship status while on the carpet for the event.

“We definitely go together real bad!” Diddy said of their relationship. “She’s my date for the night. … We don’t put titles on it. Everybody wants us to put a title on it, we don’t put titles. This like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me with. And I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.” Yung Miami chimed in to agree with Diddy, simply saying that it was indeed a good date night. What do you think of Diddy’s afterparty? Janelle Monaé Dances On Bar In Bikini At Met Gala Afterparty

Janelle Monaé is enjoying every bit of the spotlight. Even though the artist hasn’t been releasing much music over the last few years, that certainly doesn’t mean she has been out of view. Monaé has appeared in several acting roles, including a critically acclaimed turn in last year’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. The film was a sequel to the hit 2020 film Knives Out, which starred Daniel Craig. Monaé’s role in the film even earned her several awards. However, many fans have been eager for new music. The artist’s last release, Dirty Computer, was released more than five years ago.

Luckily for fans, Monaé has still managed to keep fans satisfied with a few singles. Since her last album, she has also released the singles “Stronger” and “Say My Name (Hell You Talmbout).” Additionally, she contributed to the Lady & The Tramp soundtrack with her song, “That’s Enough.” Earlier this year, fans finally got more music from Monaé. In February, she released her latest single, “Float,” after a two-year break. While Monae showcases her vocal skills in the song, she also incorporates hip-hop elements. It was a bit of a switch-up in style for her, but “Float” is a catchy tune that’s likely to get stuck in your head.

Janelle Monaé Lets Loose

Last night, Janelle Monaé was in attendance for the Met Gala. Upon arrival, she was demure and elegant. She paid tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, as was the theme of the event, with her stylish red carpet look. When she arrived on the scene, she was wearing an oversized monochrome Thom Browne coat. Then, in a stunning reveal, she stripped it off to show off her body in a two-piece and see-through hoop skirt combo. Monaé owned the look and flaunted her trim figure as she walked up the stairs to the gala.

At the afterparty, Monaé let loose completely. In a video posted to Instagram by The Shade Room, the singer can be dancing on top of the bar at The Boom Boom Room in NYC. In the spicy clip, Monaé is adorned in the same two-piece from the carpet look sans-hoop skirt. A crowd cheers her on from behind as she moves her body to the DJ’s beat. It looks like she’s really living her best life. What do you think of the clip? Sound off in the comments below!

Megan Fox Attends Oscars Party Without MGK

Megan Fox attended the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty by herself after the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The appearance came amid reported relationship problems with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. Kelly was booked to perform at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California on the same day.

“She seemed really happy and light. Super nice to everyone,” an insider told PEOPLE regarding Fox’s presence at the party. She was reportedly also not wearing her engagement ring. Another source close to the couple told the outlet: “They’re not completely done. They’re still trying to sort through things, but most of their friends think it is likely over. They’re just not ready to totally call it yet.”

As for the reasons for their alleged relationship problems, there were initially rumors of a cheating scandal; however, Megan Fox shot those down in a post on Instagram from February. “There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind,” Fox wrote at the time. “You need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now.” The post came after Fox had hinted at infidelity and shut down her Instagram. “You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath,” she wrote online, referencing Beyoncé’s 2016 album Lemonade.

“She’s now posted that there was no cheating, but she initially thought there was and now is backtracking a bit,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “She was definitely hinting at infidelity with her first post. She regrets making it all so public, but was really upset in the moment.” Amid all of the drama, the two were spotted by paparazzi outside of a marriage counseling office in California, last month. Kelly and Fox first announced that they had gotten engaged back in January 2022. They dated for nearly two years beforehand after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass.
