Doja Cat’s Mother Granted Restraining Order Against Allegedly Abusive Son

One of the most traumatic personal dramas in Doja Cat’s personal life seems to be resolved, at least for now. Dating back to last year there were reports going around that Doja’s brother was physically abusive. One particular example of his abuse included an incident where he knocked one of Doja’s teeth out and damaged some of her property. When approached by press and asked about the allegations, Doja’s brother didn’t give any comment at first. Ultimately he did though saying “I don’t have a restraining order against me.”

Despite what he claims, Doja Cat’s brother now very much does have a restraining order against him. According to Radar Online, the judge has officially granted Doja’s mom Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer a restraining order against her brother Raman Dalithando Dlamini. The first reports of a proposed restraining order first leaked online last month. Now just around a week later it’s been granted. Raman failed to appear for the scheduled court date and the judge sides with Swayer’s testimony as a result. The restraining order that was ultimately granted lasts for 5 years.

Doja Cat’s Mother Gets A Restraining Order Against Her Brother

Over the weekend like many other big musical stars, Doja Cat was in attendance at the Grammys. Even on a night full of memorable moments and standout looks, Doja’s outfit was turning heads. She went short hair with a sheer look that showed off a full display of tattoos alongside a glistening array of jewelry. The maximal look definitely left fans divided with some loving how bust it was and others dissatisfied with the entire concept.

Doja Cat was recently named as a headliner for this year’s Wireless festival alongside some big names. Also leading the way for the festival is 21 Savage, who dropped the biggest album of 2024 for far, and Nicki Minaj, whose viral beef with Megan Thee Stallion has been the biggest story in rap this year. What do you think of Doja Cat’s mother being granted a five year restraining order against her brother? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Set To Headline Wireless Fest Alongside Doja Cat, 21 Savage, And More

While it may not be the biggest news in Nicki Minaj’s world right now, she’s just been announced as one of the headliners of this year’s Wireless Festival. The fest will take place in July of this year in London and features an absolutely stacked line-up of rappers. Nicki will be joined by Future as a special guest while the other headlining slots are occupied by 21 Savage and Doja Cat. While there are still quite a few spots in the festival that haven’t been announced yet, it already has an impressive collection of talent. Ice Spice, Sean Paul, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Rema, Tyla, Teezo Touchdown, and more will take the stage. Check out the lineup so far below.

Much of the discussion surrounding Nicki Minaj right now has to do with her beef with Megan Thee Stallion. It started when she released her new album Pink Friday 2 last month. The record featured lyrics referencing Tory Lanez and his shooting incident with Megan Thee Stallion. Last week, Megan unleashed her new song “HISS” which took aim at numerous critics of hers. Among them was Nicki Minaj, though she wasn’t named directly in the song. That’s led to a pretty robust response from Minaj.

Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, And Doja Cat Headlining Wireless Fest

Since Megan dropped “HISS,” Nicki seemingly hasn’t been off Twitter for long. She’s posted dozens of responses and retweeted hundreds of fan posts across the past few days. One of her tweets in particular spanned hundreds of words and had fans talking about her incoherent demeanor.

Eventually she followed it up with a response track of her own called “Big Foot.” Unfortunately for Nicki, the song has been widely criticized online for it’s allegedly false statements and lyrics borrowed straight from her tweets. What do you think of Nicki Minaj headlining this year’s Wireless Festival? Do you think the announcement was made now to capitalize on her viral beef? Let us know in the comment section below.

Dr. Dre Surprises 50 Cent On His 48th Birthday

Dr. Dre made a surprise appearance at 50 Cent’s 48th birthday party in London, over the weekend. Tony Yayo, Jimmy Iovine, and Paul Rosenberg were all also in attendance at a Somali restaurant called The Village. 50 shared a video from the evening on his Instagram page, Monday.

In the clip, the group poses for a photo together before 50 jokes, “Everybody, please, could you stop taking my picture?” In the caption, he added: “Yeah man the guys came to see me for my birthday at this cool spot in London called the village.”

50 was in London to perform at the city’s Wireless Festival on Sunday night. The performance comes ahead of his upcoming Final Lap Tour, which will kick off in Utah on July 21. In addition to the highly-anticipated concerts, 50 also confirmed that he’s been in the studio with Dr. Dre, earlier this year, to work on a new album.

“As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoke to Dre, and that Dre is in there and he got some cr*zy stuff for me to go hear,” he said in an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood in January. “This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”

Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, And Latto Show Out At Wireless Fest After Party

However, Scott didn’t perform his July 8 set at London’s Wireless Festival entirely alone. At one point in the proceedings, he brought out Sexyy Red, who performed alongside him in a red cropped hoodie and black leggings. Red is currently enjoying a meteoric rise to stardom. She earned major industry attention for her track “Pound Town”, which was later remixed by Nicki Minaj. That remix, dubbed “Pound Town 2”, peaked at #66 on the Billboard Hot 100. She followed that with her second mixtape, Hottest Hood Princess.

Red performed “Pound Town” and “SkeeYee” while getting major hype from Scott. However, it’s unclear wherever there is anything more to this guest appearance. It’s very possible that Scott was simply giving some airtime to an up-and-coming star. However, could this be a backdoor teaser for a feature on Utopia? After all, Utopia will have some features. The Weeknd reportedly appears on the album, although that’s about all we know at the moment. However, Scott and Red didn’t just leave it at a guest appearance during his set.

Scott And Red Perform “SkeeYee” At Tape

Tape London promotes itself as an “exclusive nightclub”. The club can be found on Hanover Square in the affluent neighborhood of Mayfair. Once hosting the London homes of the social elite, the area has a much more commercial feel to it now. Behind Tape is an Elizabeth Line entrance for Bond Street tube station. The London office of Vogue can also be found in Hanover Square. 15 Hanover Square, where Tape is now located, once belonged to George Orby Wombwell, 4th Baronet. Wombwell, a former soldier who survived the Charge of the Light Brigade, was well-known for his fashionable taste.

Tape posted a host of videos from the official Wireless afterparty on their social media. Many of them featured Scott and Red performing from behind the DJ’s desk. In one, Red performs “SkeeYee” for the crowd. However, they weren’t the only ones there. Latto also showed out, performing “Big Energy” for the crowd before declaring that it was “shots o’clock.” Other performers at the afterparty included Bryon Messina and Bryson Tiller.

Yeat Came Out To Massive Headliner-Sized Crowd At Wireless Festival

Rage music is killing it on the festival circuit these days, whether you’re a genre pioneer like Playboi Carti or the next wave of the movement. Moreover, Yeat came out during Wireless Festival in London this weekend, and amassed a gigantic crowd on onlookers during his set. In fact, his performance was so packed that many posted online that it was basically as if he was the headliner. Of course, performing on the main stage amid a slew of other anticipated performers will certainly give you a leg-up when it comes to crowd size. Regardless, those people stuck around for a reason, and got an energetic and invigorating show from the rapper as a result.

Furthermore, Yeat is capitalizing off of the success and cult acclaim behind his latest album, this year’s AftërLyfe. While it’s 22 tracks long, it actually might be one of the best and most boundary-pushing rage projects since Carti’s Whole Lotta Red. Through his performance alone (something that translates into his live shows as well), the Oregon-raised MC showed off a lot of versatility within such a specific niche. Not only that, but sticking true to those limitations while expanding on them outwardly is probably what’s made him such a phenomenon in the first place.

Yeat’s Wireless Festival Performance Snippets

Of course, this is far from the first time that the 23-year-old’s live shows resulted in newsworthy rowdiness. Still, it seems like that’s only going to continue to be the case moving forward as he works with more people. For example, Yeat recently previewed a Travis Scott collab that hopefully releases sooner rather than later. With those two fanbases colliding, an actual performance from both should be nothing short of ballistic.

Meanwhile, the “Split” artist is a true character in the rap game as well, which just adds to his cult status. Earlier this week, he revealed that he apparently met an alien in his youth that told him what to do. He’s a singular force in the industry, and about as much of an alien as a skinny green UFO pilot. Travis Scott Brings Out Sexyy Red During Wireless Fest Set

Travis Scott is currently a very busy man. Alongside the constant teasing and promotion of Utopia, Scott is currently doing the festival set circuit. He has primarily spent the last few weeks in Europe before he performs at Rolling Loud in Miami later this month. So far, Scott has given a fan the clothes off his back while performing in Dublin. Also in Ireland, Scott performed “Aye”, his track on Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape for the first time.

However, Scott most recently found himself at Wireless Festival in England. First held in 2005, Wireless is a staple of the British festival circuit. Wireless has been held in several venues across London and England but appears to have settled on Finsbury Park in North London. Beyond Scott, the lineup for the 2023 festival was absolutely stacked. Friday saw Playboi Carti, Ice Spice, Latto, Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, and Yeat to name a few. Saturday had Lil Yachty, FLO, and Mariah the Scientist. Furthermore, the show will close out on July 9 with 50 Cent, Lil Durk, GloRilla, and Popcaan.

Playboi Carti Previews New Music At Wireless Festival, Spends Time With Fans

Playboi Carti is without a doubt one of hip-hop’s best performers of the moment, which he proved yet again with his Wireless Festival performance on Friday (July 7) in London. Sure, he might just scream his songs through, but you aren’t hearing that energy on any studio recording. Regardless, not only did his set contain some of his biggest hits, but he also previewed new music for the U.K. crowd. Moreover, an aerial shot of the concertgoers shows just how rowdy people were, and the same can be said for a recording of his rendition of the legendary Lil Uzi Vert collab “Shoota.” With that, the Atlanta artist really covered all the bases with his concert as fans beg for a new album soon.

As far as the teased unreleased track, it’s kind of hard to make out with this video. Still, it sounds exactly like what you’d expect from Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red era. It’s loud, aggressive, bass-heavy, guitar-led, and above all energizing, which is what made that 2020 album such a live hit. All that being said, Carti’s always one to switch things up from project to project, so who knows if this will be the same energy he brings to his next offering.

What’s more is that the 26-year-old also extended his appreciation for fans to the streets- or rather, thanking them in person. Furthermore, Playboi Carti seemed to hang out with a few fans after his show, as one social media clip shows. In it, a fan recorded Carti as they listened to his collab with The Weeknd and Madonna, “Popular.” When he spotted the fan as he took a video, he cracked a smile, took a fan’s fist bump in his palm, and pulled him in with his arm for a hug.

Ice Spice Shares Her Impeccable London Looks & Fits In Instagram Photo Dump

Ice Spice recently performed for a massive crowd at the Wireless Festival in London, England on Friday (July 7), and of course had to show how killer her fits were for the occasion. Moreover, in her recent Instagram post, she shared two distinct looks she rocked for the stay, and remarked how jet-lagged she was in the process. The first in the photo dump, which she wore onstage, is a tight black top and a flannel-like beige skirt with fishnets, topped off with her sleek bright orange hair and Balenciagas on her soles. Another fit features her long curls, large white boots, a colorful skirt, and a sheer pink top with an orange bra.

Naturally, the comments filled up with people thirsting for the Bronx MC or just remarking how good she looked. Maybe she got so much London love that she’s more compelled to drop that “Munch” remix with Central Cee she recently revealed was real. Regardless, Ice Spice certainly pleased the crowd with another collab that fortunately saw the light of day- and took over the world. The one and only PinkPanthress popped out to perform their smash hit “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2.”

Ice Spice’s London Slays

In other Ice Spice news, the 23-year-old recently reflected on her relationship with Nicki Minaj in an interview with The Guardian. “She be telling me to learn from her mistakes,” the “Princess Diana” hitmaker remarked. “Just watching her in general, if you pay close enough attention, you gonna see what you should do. I love to talk to her about things that I can’t talk about publicly. It just means so much to be able to have somebody like her.”

Meanwhile, in another interview with Capital XTRA, Spice spoke more about Barb’s work ethic. “She’s so hardworking,” she expressed. “I knew that already, but meeting her in person just like, completely reminded me of that. Being around her showed me that you really gotta hold your ground. You’ve really got to say ‘no’ when it’s time to say ‘no.’ People really listen to her.” With that in mind, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Ice Spice.
