DDG Lays Up With Someone New Following Split From Halle Bailey

DDG is catching some heat right now thanks to some new photos and videos making the rounds on social media. One in particular is drawing people in and encouraging them to leave their two cents, though. Akademiks TV shared an image of the Michigan rapper laying up with a girl not named Halle Bailey. In one shot, the woman has a hand on DDG’s thigh, and some folks aren’t too happy to see this. To be more specific, it appears to be Ahna Mac from the Baddies reality TV series. “Keep doing lame n**** s***,” one X user writes. “Poor this Z- listed rapper. No more clout from Halle,” another adds. However, others are blasting Ak’s second social media page for jumping the gun.

They would be correct, as the YouTuber is getting ready to drop a new song this Friday, November 15. “WHAT U BAD FOR” is the title and DDG has been promoting it heavily on his various platforms. Some of his fans are coming to his defense for the backlash he’s been receiving for this, with one saying, “He can’t promote his song without yall on his wood? Y’all burning me out.” “Why are people mad at this😂 it’s a video.. take a chill pill sheesh.”

Overall, it’s been a rough year for DDG, but not just because of the Halle Bailey breakup. He’s been in the middle of multiple beefs, most notably with Joe Budden. Him and the former got into it over the split with the singer and actress because the podcaster didn’t know who he was. “Who the f*** is DDG and why am I supposed to care about his thoughts on anything?” he said on his show.

That set the vlogger off and led him to clap back. “Pump it up went gold after 20 years u old b**** @JoeBudden i’m on u. N**** got 30 years MAX of life left & speakin on a relationship of people the same age as yo son you’n take care of.” Things seem to be a bit better between them now, however. Hopefully, DDG will be able to have a reset in 2025 and thrive once again.

Kanye West Sounds Reminiscent Of The Old Ye In Extended Snippet Of “Beauty And The Beast”

We think we can speak for most Kanye West listeners when we say that his last two projects have been less than desirable. Vultures 1 and Vultures 2 felt rushed, incomplete, and almost soulless at times. That is all due to the poor mixing, vocal performances, and lackluster verses from both Ye and Ty Dolla $ign. We could have been in the middle of an outstanding trilogy given how immensely talented these two artists are. Instead, the projects have sort of come and gone and we aren’t really sure how many people actually want them to complete it.

However, Kanye West does have a chance to rejuvenate this latter part of his career with his upcoming solo album, Bully. At the end of last month, he announced it during his show in China and also on Instagram. Furthermore, he teased the album at the concert by playing one of its songs, “Beauty And The Beast.” Then, about a week or so after the performance, it was reported that Ye is going to be producing the entire album. That’s how he became the icon (whether you like it or not) in music. The way he was able to put enough energy into the beats and his performances, especially earlier on in his career, led him to craft some of the best hip-hop tapes ever.

Whether or not that happens with Bully remains to be seen. However, this extended snippet of “Beauty And The Beast” has our attention. The reason why is because it has that “chop up the soul Kanye” vibe to it. NFR Podcast reposted the song preview on X (Twitter) and according to Ye, this recording was taken from his Haikou, China show. It features a lot more singing that rapping and it sounds dreamy, soulful, all while being fairly minimal. It feels like it’s from multiple eras such as 808s, MBDTF, TLOP, and of course College Dropout. Fans are digging it so far and it’s apparently coming very soon.

What are your thoughts on this new snippet of “Beauty And The Beast” by Kanye West? When do you think we are getting the single and Bully? Do you think this will be a massive improvement over the two Vultures projects? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Ray Vaughn & SiR Keep It Real On “Everybody Dies” Collab

If you haven’t been paying attention to Ray Vaughn’s career trajectory, you may want to consider doing so. The Long Beach, California native is one of TDE’s newest signees and one they see carrying the label moving forward. We can see the vision on that outlook for him because he’s got a lot like. For one, his voice is pretty standout and versatile. It meshes well in both serious and fun applications. Additionally, it comes across as effortlessly and genuinely passionate. Some artists deliveries can come across as forced, but not Ray’s. Additionally, he’s a pretty clever writer already and we can only see him improving more over time. Both of this sought after skills are prominently displayed on this newest Ray Vaughn single, “Everybody Dies”.

He hasn’t announced anything yet, but this one of many records he’s put out in the last seven months. To be exact, this is his eighth solo release of 2024, with a ninth alongside NLE Choppa coming this Friday. We aren’t really sure why we haven’t gotten world on his debut yet, but we hope something comes through soon. We say that because nearly all of these tracks have had something compelling to offer. GloRilla Takes Swift Action Following R-Word Controversy

One of Memphis’ leading ladies, GloRilla, has been one having such a fantastic 2024. It’s been a mini resurgence of sorts, with some people out there feeling that her career was on the downswing. However, those theories are currently out the window as she has put out hit after hit it seems. “Yeah Glo!”, “TGIF”, and “Wanna Be” are just a few to list off. Unfortunately, the uber-confident MC put herself in a little bit of controversy this past weekend. GloRilla posted a snippet of an upcoming single on her social media and in the preview, she drops the R-word.

Me and my b**** r******d,”, she openly states on what figures to be a song titled “Holon”. This led to heaps of backlash. “Why are we still using the R-word in 2024? I can’t get with this one”. “Ion like that R-word so it’s a no for me”. These are just a couple of disappointed reactions from fans online. Some were trying to defend her word usage. However, it is a very sensitive thing to say in any context. In fact, the Special Olympics says it’s even a form of hate speech.

So, with GloRilla seeing all of the hate and perhaps coming to a realization that she did make a mistake, she took quick action. According to AllHipHop, Big Glo took to Instagram to re-tease the future record with the new change, “Me and my b**** go naughty“. This has since pleased a lot of people and see this as a sign of maturity from the young artist. “Awwww she changed the lyrics just in case it did hurt someone’s feelings 👏🙌”, one user replies. “I love how you changed the R word out the song. I wasn’t offended but that’s real. Very mindful… very cutesy, very demurrrrrre”, another adds.

What are your thoughts on GloRilla removing the R-word from him recently teased track? Do you think this show’s that she’s mature? Or do you think she should’ve never used that word in the first place? Do you think this will go on to be another hit for her this year? Is the Memphis rapper having the best 2024 of any femcee? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding GloRilla. Victoria Monet’s Ambiguous Tweet Has Fans Speculating About Her Relationship

Victoria Monet has her fanbase all wound up over a pretty vague tweet from late last night. The R&B superstar said, “I’m way too sexy to be alone…”. This has led to her supporters theorizing that she could be splitting from John Gaines. Her and her fitness model/motivational speaker boyfriend have been together since 2020, according to theJasmineBrand. They even share a daughter together, Hazel Monét Gaines as of February 21, 2021, making her three years old. It doesn’t seem like these two have had any issues, at least that have gone public anyway. But still, fans are pretty nervous for Victoria.

“I hope this is a lyric from SOS and not you telling us there’s no more Mr. Monet?”. More on that “SOS” part in a second. More reactions just like this one were all over X. “Aren’t you and your man still together?”. “You cannot play with our emotions like this! 😭”, another adds.

Now that we’ve gone over that, what is this “SOS” thing that fans feel that the singer is hinting at with this ambiguous tweet? Well, Ms. Monet has been teasing the release of some new music to help celebrate one year of JAGUAR II. If you were wondering, it will officially turn one on August 25. That new material is a single called “SOS”, which she says will be out next Tuesday, August 27. She made the announcement on her Instagram about a day ago with the caption, “🆘🆘🆘 8//27 Pre-save link in my bio”.

What are your thoughts on Victoria Monet hinting at a possible breakup from John Gaines? Do you think it’s that, or is this her teasing her upcoming single “SOS”? If the latter is true, are you excited for some new music? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Rob49 & Cardi B Tease First Collab & Fans Won’t Have To Wait Long For It

Rob49 is bringing some fresh heat to market for the Louisiana rap scene, and he will be again soon with a new Cardi B collab. These two stars are not frequent teammates. In fact, they have never been on a record together, so this is pretty exciting news. This new tandem will be dropping “On Dat Money” on July 19, according to a Rap Alert tweet. The source also appears to have their hands on the cover art as well, which features Rob49 and Cardi B surrounding hundreds of thousands in dollar bills. With the title and artwork available, it appears this record will be a slick and braggadocious banger.

Currently, there is no word on a producer either, so we will have to wait and see who that is behind this next Friday. Rob49 and Cardi B personally hyped up “On Dat Money” on the former’s social media platform just hours ago as well. Cardi claims, “Yeah motherf***ers we got some motherf***in’ heat on the way”. Hopefully, that proves to be case, but fans are already very optimistic about it.

“I know Cardi finna slide on this! She always slide on her features!”, one IG user writes. Fellow collaborator of Rob’s, Skilla Baby, was also hyping them up, “They can’t fw you brudda💯🔥”. This single could also signify a major album for the “TOPIA TWINS” artist. He has not announced a tape for this year yet, but he does have several records out this year that could warrant that possibility. “Wassam Baby” with Lil Wayne and “Off Dat Drank” are candidates, so maybe we will get another announcement closer to the 19. It is also worth noting that he has not dropped a new LP since June of 2023 with 4GOD II.

What are your thoughts on this Rob49 grabbing Cardi B for his new single “On Dat Money”? Do you agree think this track will be a bop or a flop and why? Eminem Reveals The Artwork For Highly Anticipated Single “Tobey”

Eminem will always have fans on the edge of their seats for new music and today is no different. In just a few short hours he will be dropping off the second and possible final single for The Death of Slim Shady, “Tobey”. The track has been generating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced a few days ago. Part of the reason for that is because of the guests coming along for the ride. Two fellows Michiganders, Big Sean and BabyTron, will be lending their talents to the track. Eminem is doing a cool thing with “Tobey”, as all three MCs are essentially repping three different generations of Detroit hip-hop.

Marshall Mathers is playing into that aspect even more on the artwork, which he just revealed on his Instagram moments ago. It recreates the iconic Spider-Man meme where two spiderweb-weaving superheroes are pointing at each other. That iconic Marvel character seems to be the main theme of “Tobey” as the song is a partial homage to actor Tobey Maguire. He portrayed the masked vigilante in the original films in the early 2000s. As most superhero super fans would know, Spider-Man becomes Spider-man after being bit by a radioactive arachnid.

However, for Eminem, Sean, and Tron, they seem to have been nibbled on by a goat. The latter’s lyrics were teased in the trailer toward the end, and he rapped, “Tobey Maguire got bit by a spider, but see, me? It was a goat“. If that is any indication, this looks to be a more of a braggadocious cut. However, we will find out sooner than later, as “Tobey” drops at 12 p.m. EST. Some fans were a little surprised that it did not drop at midnight, but Eminem never revealed the time in the original teaser.

What are your thoughts on the cover art for Eminem’s upcoming single “Tobey” with Big Sean and BabyTron? Is this going to be a better track than “Houdini”, why or why not? Kanye West’s “All Mine” Reference Track Revealed By Consequence

Reference tracks in hip-hop are a commonality. However, it feels like over the last few months, they have been running rampant. That especially been the case with Drake, not only throughout his career, but as of recently as well. The ghostwriting accusations picked up steam once again during his mostly one-sided affair with Kendrick Lamar. Additionally, because it felt like The Boy could not find a W anywhere, it seemed that the leaked ideas were popping up by the second for him. This time though, Kanye West is the artist for discussion, as a reference track for “All Mine” has just been revealed.

The rapper who appears to have assisted Ye for one of his biggest hits as of late is Consequence. A close collaborator and die-hard supporter, the Queens, New York native gave fans some context across his social media platforms. In the 45-second clip, Consequence shares vocals he recorded over the “All Mine” instrumental and it shows how Kanye threw in the hilarious Stormy Daniels line. The veteran MC did present a slightly different flow than his counterpart, but you can definitely see the similarities.

Consequence Reveals How Kanye Referenced Him For “All Mine”

Consequence was one of many to receive writing credits on “All Mine”, including Pardison Fontaine, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign, 070 Shake, CyHi, to name a few. He made sure to give himself props in the post, saying, “All Mine now has surpassed 500 Million Streams on @spotify… HIT MY LINE IF YOU NEED A SAMPLE 🔌🔌🔌”. In addition to that plug, Consequence also announced a new collaboration coming with Kanye called “No Apologies”, which will drop on June 21. One can assume this is a song to make the cut for his relentlessly pushed back album, Nice Doing Business With You.

What are your thoughts on Consequence revealing the reference track for Kanye West’s “All Mine”? Is this the best song off of ye, why or why not? Is this verse better than Ye’s? Are you excited for them to drop their new song on June 21, as well as the upcoming album? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments section below. Megan Thee Stallion Enjoys A Good Twerk Sesh While Fans Wonder If “BOA” Is The Album Or A Single

With “Megan May” officially underway, her Hotties have been salivating for new music in any form. At any moment, Megan Thee Stallion could drop new music, especially with her worldwide journey on the horizon. The Texas rapper is about to be making these next couple of months extra humid with her Hot Girl Summer Tour kicking off on May 14 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With that in mind, Megan has still not announced the release date of her sophomore album, nor its title. However, over the last couple days, fans have been wondering if an Instagram post announcing “BOA” is the LP title or a single title.

Megan Thee Stallion teased “BOA” in the form of an early PlayStation video game artwork that looks like it was from the early 2000s. “😈🐍🎮 Are you ready to play?” she captioned the post. It sees the “Cobra” artist rocking a cosplay of Boa Hancock, a character from the hit anime series One Piece. Her obsession with the Japan art form was apparent during her numerous photo dumps when she visited the country earlier this year.

Megan Thee Stallion & GloRilla Tease New Song That Samples Soulja Boy’s “Pretty Boy Swag”

Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have just shared an exciting preview of their upcoming song. Two of the biggest female rappers in the game will be teaming up for the first time in what sounds like it will be a banger for the summer. Both artists have been going through a bit of a resurgence. For the Texas native, she has bounced back tremendously with “Cobra” and “HISS,” with both being perhaps the strongest cuts of her career. As for the Memphis star, “Yeah Glo!” has proven to be a return to form in most people’s eyes after some harsh criticism of her recent output.

This collaboration makes sense in that aspect for Glo and Megan, but also for this reason. With Glo going on Meg’s Hot Girl Summer Tour starting in May, they can now perform something together whenever they are both on stage. Megan dropped a short video with her newest collaborator on Instagram with a sneak peek of the track earlier today. In addition to these two teaming up for the first time, the other exciting part about this is the sample.

People who know hip-hop hits from the 2010s will immediately recognize the flip. Megan and Glo are looking to put their twist on Soulja Boy’s classic “Pretty Boy Swag.” The eerie and club-ready beat remains to be mostly unchanged as both femcees trade bars, hyping each other up. “Go Meg, go Meg, go Meg!” GloRilla raps. Conversely Megan spits, “Get em’ Glo, get em’ Glo, get ’em Glo.” Just from this snippet alone, we can tell this will be on repeat when it drops this Friday April 5.

What are your thoughts on Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla’s teaser for their new song? How do you feel about the “Pretty Boy Swag” sample? Is this going to be the song of the summer, why or why not?
