Drake Pushes Fan Who Rushes Stage On Tour, Calls Out Security For Lacking

As the summer comes to a close, Drake and 21 Sav are continuing to bring their It’s All a Blur tour to arenas across North America. We’ve seen some interesting moments unfold during the pair’s performances so far, such as an abundance of bras thrown at the Canadian, and a surprise visit from Travis Scott in Vancouver. There are still plenty more shows to catch the Her Loss collaborators at before they head back home to relax, and as Drake nears closer to sharing his For All The Dogs album, excitement is only growing stronger.

On Monday (September 11) evening, the “Ratchet Happy Birthday” rapper was showing out in Texas. Patrons were more than pleased to see Champagne Papi recruit yet another NBA star, Kevin Durant, to walk out with him. As expected, the 36-year-old put on an incredible show, though there was one rude interruption from an eager fan who managed to rush the stage. In the video below, Drake takes a break from spitting his greatest hits to address the crowd when a young man approaches him, looking for some love.

Drake’s Fans Want to See Him Up Close and Personal

Rather than embrace the stranger, the OVO founder immediately shoves him away. However, he did briefly wrap his arm around the concert attendee while walking him to the edge of the stage, where security was waiting to promptly yank him off. “Boy, you slow as a motherf**ker,” Drake appeared to say during the awkward moment, earning a laugh from those watching on. Rather than letting the situation get him down, the legendary artist quickly turned his energy back on 100 to finish his set.

In lighter news, Drake also had a major update for fans last night regarding his For All The Dogs album. While we first thought the highly anticipated project would be hitting streamers in August, the father of one has since confirmed that he’ll be sharing its first official single at some point this week. Blueface Brags About Not Having Security Ahead Of New “Crazy In Love” Episode

Blueface has been in the news an awful lot this year, though not often for reasons related to his music. Instead, we’ve watched the 26-year-old go back and forth between his two baby mamas, Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis, as the former prepares to welcome their first child together. For some time he seemed to be on a path of elevation with the “Stewie” artist, helping her make a name for herself on his MILF Music label. As Rock’s due date nears closer, however, she shared a video of Blue snuggling up with her baby bump, obviously feeling the anticipation about meeting their little one.

Unfortunately, the “Thotiana” rapper was also recently the victim of a stabbing incident, leaving fans concerned for his safety. Despire others urging Blueface to stay safe, a tweet he shared on Friday (August 25) proves that he feels more than capable of handling himself. “They said where was yo security . I am security, square a** ni**a. I ain’t sweating no leg stab, I’m still running fades in Balenciagas.”

Blueface Isn’t Worried for His Safety

As the California native asserts his dominance on social media, his followers are waiting for Zeus to share the latest episode of Blue and Rock’s Crazy In Love reality series on Sunday. This season has been a rollercoaster of emotions so far, from the 23-year-old initially finding out that she’s pregnant to constantly feuding with her future co-parent and her family.

In a preview of this weekend’s installment, the Baddies cast member happily tells Blueface that she got the results of the paternity test he demanded. Her co-star has long denied that he’s responsible for getting her pregnant, though at this point he seems to be accepting responsibility for his actions.

Jay-Z’s Security Hilariously Blocks Fan From Filming

During a recent appearance at what looks like one of Beyonce’s Renaissance shows Jay-Z clearly didn’t want to be filmed. Despite the thousands of cameras probably filming at any moment during the show, he didn’t want any of them fixed on him. So when a fan tried and security got in the way, they ended up with a hilarious clip. “Jay-Z’s security said ‘not today’” the short clip is captioned and it’s a pretty accurate assessment. In the video itself, a fan tries to zoom their phone in on the rapper, only for a security guard to hilarious step in front of him making a very meme-worthy face.

Fans in the comments agreed that the clip was funny. “Lmao just waiting on y’all to meme this,” one comment reads. Another fan compared the security guard to a similar viral video. “Why he look like the guy from the original “bruh” video,” they said. Other fans explained how the gesture wouldn’t have stopped them from filming. “Would’ve had a stare contest. Do sumn,” one commenter hilarious predicts.

Recently, Jay-Z was credited with a massive boost in New Yorkers signing up for library cards. Their reports say that over 14,000 people have recently signed up for library cards. Consequently, those numbers follow the Brooklyn Public Library teaming up with Roc Nation for a pair of collabs. Firstly, the libraries “Book Of Hov” exhibit was recently extended through October. They also released a collection of 13 limited edition library cards with many of Jay’s album covers on them.

Jay-Z recently made headlines for a charming purchase he made. After a fans paintings of Beyonce went viral, they managed to catch Jay’s attention. The rapper liked them so much that he decided to personally buy them. Additionally, pictures from the purchase granted tons of exposure to the artist and made for a great example of why you should always shoot your shot. Russ Helps Fan Deal With Aggressive Security: “What’s Wrong With You?”

Russ stopped a concert at Calgary Stampede in Canada, earlier this week, when the security team got into it with a female fan. In a clip that’s since made its way to social media, the rapper calls out members of the security for being too “aggressive” and eventually climbs off stage to help the fan.

“What y’all doing?” Russ asked. “Yo, yo, that’s a female bro. What’s wrong with you? Yo! That’s a woman, dog. You don’t need to be that aggressive. It’s five fucking dudes. What are ya’ll doing? Damn dog.”

From there, Russ jumps off stage as fans cheer him on. “All I saw was just five grown men with one chick, like doing way too much,” Russ said when returning back to the stage. “I don’t know if there was a fight — that was OD.”

Many fans online also took Russ’ side in the incident. “Security always doing too much,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Another took to the defense of the security team. “Nah bro. She didn’t leave and grabbed the pole. Who cares if she’s a chick,” they argued. “You fight back with five guys there they’re going to push back. They didn’t hurt her they got her out of s restricted area. Nothing wrong with that.”

Russ Pauses Show To Question Security

Russ’ performance comes just over a month ahead of the release of his next studio album, SANTIAGO, which will be dropping on Friday, August 18, 2023. Russ made the announcement with a lengthy statement posted on social media, last month. “This album represents my mental, spiritual, physical and emotional journey to my treasure (I talk more about what my treasure is on the album but it’s symbolized by the pyramid). The journey at times wasn’t and isn’t pretty,” Russ wrote at the time. “I’ve put myself through the ringer and beat myself up quite a bit along the way. The front cover depicts externally what that sort of psychological warfare looks like.”

Ken Carson Fan Runs On Stage, Gets Tackled By Security

There are many rappers out there who have experienced fans trying to get a little too close while they’re performing. According to XXL, Ken Carson recently became the newest on that list when a fan ran on stage during a show. Carson does exactly what you’d expect him to, back away and let security handle it. That’s right about when a huge security guard comes on stage and tackled the man rugby style. The whole time he’s being carried off stage Carson continues performing without a hitch. Ken Carson has kept pretty busy in recent years. The Opium rapper has only dropped one new single so far this year. His newest song “i need u” came out back in February. That followed his album “X” which dropped in 2022. The 20-track project received quite a bit of attention but also quite a bit of backlash. His style was compared unfavorably to that of his own label head Playboi Carti. Much like fellow Opium rapper Destroy Lonely many have labeled Carson as merely a Playboi Carti rip-off.

Ken Carson’s debut mixtape Project X dropped back in 2021. It followed a pair of EPs that included his breakout hit song “yale.” While Project X had no features in its tracklist it did end up with a hit song of its own. “Rock N Roll” is Ken Carson’s second biggest song to date. He’s also been a part of some meaningful collaborations in the past. In 2022 he teamed up with SoFaygo and the pair delivered yet another hit on the song “Hell Yeah.”

Carson made a memorable appearance on the Yeat album 2 Lyfe last year. He also shows up on “money & sex” the bonus track from Destroy Lonely’s new album this year. Travis Scott And His Security Team Recreate The Beatles’ “Abbey Road” Cover

Travis Scott has recreated the iconic album cover of the Beatles’ 1969 album, Abbey Road. He was photographed in London today outside of Abbey Road studios. The rapper lined up with various members of his security team, emulating the LP’s artwork. One member of the security team even carried the famous UTOPIA briefcase in the photos, which Scott has been using to continually tease his highly-anticipated upcoming album.

He’s been spotted various times with the briefcase in tow. Recently, behind-the-scenes photos from SZA’s “SOS” tour that feature the briefcase were unveiled. A member of Scott’s security team sat with the briefcase handcuffed to him, while Scott was pictured wearing SZA merch. He also brought it with him to the Cannes Film Festival last month. He attended the premiere of The Weeknd’s new HBO series with Lily-Rose Depp, The Idol. Some even claim that the rapper was seen peaking inside the briefcase during the event.

Another person who took a peak inside the UTOPIA briefcase recently is Scott’s producer Mike Dean. He posted a photo alongside the opened briefcase on Instagram, leading fans to speculate on the album’s release date in the comments. He also recently told his social media followers, “UTOPIA will be done with when Trav and I say its done. Let us cook.”

Last month, Scott told Pin-Up magazine the true meaning behind UTOPIA. “Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind,” he revealed. He went on to say, “There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.” Though the album is set to drop sometime this month, no official release date for UTOPIA has been confirmed.

Selena Gomez Confronts Beyonce’s Paris Concert’s Security

Everyone’s been going crazy at Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE tour, and her Paris show on Friday (May 26) might be her most eventful yet. Sure, there’s the spectacular concert itself spanning a lot of her best work, but the show also had quite a few famous faces show up. For example, her husband Jay-Z and Roc Nation-managed MC Megan Thee Stallion danced along to her hits and seemed to have a great time at the show. However, despite the many, many fans that went ecstatic when they saw her, it seems like Selena Gomez ran into more than that at the show. Furthermore, clips surfaced online of the actress having a heated discussion with security.

While it’s unclear what could’ve provoked this interaction, it does remind fans of another superstar that raised their voice at security at a massive concert. That time, though, it was the superstar themselves. During a Philly stop of her “Eras” tour (which is almost as in-demand and hyped as Quee Bey’s), Taylor Swift told security to get off of fans on the barricade. As such, many theorized that Selena Gomez was probably running into a similar situation, or at least something else that was hindering her experience or that of fans at the show.

In other Selena Gomez-related news, she recently had to deal with fans pitting her against Hailey Bieber, her ex’s wife. Fortunately, the two smoothed any speculated beef out and addressed fans who kept trying to incite problems between them. “I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I,” Hailey expressed on Instagram. “The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful. While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together.”

Meanwhile, maybe one day we’ll hear an explanation of what went down at Beyonce’s show. Still, you’ll find so many clips on social media of fans screaming for Selena and reaching their hands out to say hello as she walked past them. With that in mind, whatever happened with security is at least balanced out by the wave of admiration and love she surely felt. Kanye Previews Updated Version Of “Security”

As we’ve seen in the past with Kanye West projects, they’re never actually done. Projects like Yeezus and The Life Of Pablo have undergone significant changes since their release. It’s a practice that he extended to all of his projects, including Donda 2. The sequel to his 2021 album was solely released via StemPlayer without any indication of an official release. Still, Ye continues to quietly tweak the effort. Most recently, fans discovered a new update to one of the highlights of the album, “Security.”

On Monday night, Ye hosted the YZY FREE event on Melrose with an open invite to the public. Fans flocked to the location to get in on the action when they were treated to a snippet of “Security” with mild updates to the production and mixes. It appears this is the first time it was officially debuted. Many pointed out that a similar version emerged shortly after the album dropped. Mike Dean slid into the comment section of @ourgenerationmusic’s post, writing, “Nothing [new].”

At this point, it’s unclear what to expect of Kanye West next. 2022 proved to be an incredibly tumultuous year for him following a string of interviews focusing on everything from his beef with Pete Davidson to his praise of Hitler. Ultimately, these incidents led to the end of his partnership with brands like GAP and Adidas. Around the same time, Def Jam quietly confirmed that G.O.O.D. Music was no longer part of their roster. As a result, Kanye West’s net worth dropped significantly from his billionaire status as his partnerships and sponsors distanced themselves from him.

Ultimately, Kanye is still moving forward with Yeezy, despite Adidas decision to back out. Last week, he held auditions for the Yeezy Fashion show (presumably YZY FREE) so it looks like we could expect a new collection soon. However, Adidas continues to face backlash after cutting ties with the artists. Reports emerged claiming that investors filed a lawsuit against the German sportswear brand after they initially refused to end their partnership with Ye, even while allegedly knowing of his anti-Semitic beliefs. Caleb Pressley says that Drake has the “most security” he’s ever seen. The Barstool host recently interviewed Drake for an episode of his show, Sundae Conversation. Sitting down with Theo Von for an interview, earlier this week, Pressley explained what it was like arriving at the legendary Toronto rapper’s home.

Pressley began by explaining that he was in Drake’s house for at least 90 minutes before he even laid eyes on the rapper. “His security’s insane. He has the most security. You ever seen security? Imagine more.” Fans in the comments section of a post from RapTV had jokes in response to the claim. One wrote, “You know you made it when somebody wanna know if you answer yo own front door.” Another commented, “You know you made it when you’re security got security.”

During the interview, Pressley also spoke with Drake’s son, Adonis. When the child admitted he’s not a strong reader, Pressley asked, “Do you think if he did a better job with you at home that you’d be able to read?” Adonis replied, “Yeah.” As for his conversation with Drake, Pressley asked the rapper about betting. In response, Drake affirmed that his most chips are in on parenting. “Fatherhood. I just mean, in an encouraging way, like, ‘You can always bet on fatherhood. For all the people out there, you can always bet on fatherhood.”

On the music side of things, Drake recently premiered an unreleased song on Friday night’s episode of Sound 42’s The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM Radio. On the track, he samples Kim Kardashian discussing the idea of getting a divorce from Kanye West. The audio comes from an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2021. Drake is also preparing for a collaborative tour with 21 Savage this summer. The two previously worked together on the 2022 album, Her Loss. Additionally, Drake has hinted at releasing a new album of his own before the end of the year.
