YFN Lucci Drops “Free Me” Amid His Recent Legal Issues

YFN Lucci is dealing with a pretty major setback in his life right now. The veteran rapper hailing from the hip-hop hub of Atlanta, Georgia is currently under arrest after pleading guilty to one count of a violation against the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. This all went down for Lucci just about two weeks ago. However, there is a little bit of a silver lining in all of this.

It was originally reported that Lucci would have to serve a total of 20 years. 10 of those would be in prison, with the second half on probation. However, the sentence was updated to where he will only serve three and a half months in jail. Following that, Lucci will finish off the remainder of it on probation. While it is still not ideal, at least prison is out of the equation.

Listen To “Free Me” By YFN Lucci

Obviously, this has to be a lot for Lucci to deal with emotionally, mentally, and psychologically. One way artists know how to cope is through making music. That is what he has done moments ago, as he returns with a new single. “Free Me” is also the first solo single for Lucci in three years and it begins a rollout for his next album. The last time he put out a project was back in 2020 with Wish Me Well 3. In this soulful and trap-heavy cut, YFN gets out his frustrations surrounding life’s recent events.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Free Me,” by YFN Lucci? Is this the Georgia rapper’s best single ever, why or why not? Do you think he will get parole in the next four months? YFN Lucci Looks Unrecognizable In New Mugshot From Prison

It looks like YFN Lucci finally got that haircut that the court promised him before his trial a couple of weeks ago. Moreover, a new mugshot surfaced of him online on Sunday (January 28), and people were very quick to comment on his bald head after sporting a long and wild look while in the pen. “tf, ain’t this n***a have a full head of dreads like yesterday [crying emoji],” one fan wrote under DJ Akademiks’ Instagram coverage of the picture. “N***a went from Kodak to magic Johnson overnight,” another added, while others had some more pop culture references to give. “He Look like CJ from Grove St [crying laughing emoji],” a user joked.

Furthermore, this follows the news that YFN Lucci received a 20-year sentence in his RICO case. However, given that he will be eligible for parole in just a couple of months -– and the State’s letter to the pardon and parole board that reflects a lack of objection to an early release -– he could be out in three and a half months. Of course, this is all quite muddy thanks to our broken legal system, and many things could occur to slow this down. But the Atlanta native at least has some bright light at the end of the tunnel, and that’s more than most ever get in U.S. prisons.

Meanwhile, another point of contention that came up concerning YFN Lucci recently is his past romance with Reginae Carter, Lil Wayne’s daughter. The two went out before his arrest, and many fans asked her after this sentence whether she’d take him back. Unfortunately for any shippers out there, she seemed to shut down the idea altogether, although that doesn’t reflect a lack of care and support. “I’m not tied to no man, I’m single. I’m Tired of the speculations . And I’m not looking back . At all . Send me everything new,” Carter tweeted.

In addition, the rap world reacted with fervor upon the news of Lucci’s sentence -– and some with boastfulness. For example, 50 Cent took credit for this sentence because he recommended his lawyer, and it ended up working out. Surely more MCs and media figures will respond to all this in the near future, especially as he might find freedom sooner than anticipated. With that in mind, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on YFN Lucci.

YFN Lucci Will Likely Only Serve 3.5 Months In Jail: Details

YFN Lucci is expected to only serve 3.5 more months in jail following his 20-year sentence on Tuesday. The sentence was to be broken down with 10 years of prison time and another 10 of probation. As part of his plea deal, in which he admits his guilt in violating the street gang terrorism and prevention act, the State will write a letter to the pardon and parole board confirming it will not object to his early release. Accounting for the time served he’s piled up since his arrest on January 13, 2021, he’ll be eligible for parole in just a few months.

The deal isn’t bad for Lucci, considering that prior to his acceptance of the plea, he faced several more counts, including felony murder, which carried a maximum penalty of life without parole. Before his sentence was read on Tuesday, he apologized to the victim’s family.

It’s clear as day. There is no corporation in the YSL case. He will not be testifying in that case. If anybody wants to subpoena him, we’ll file a subpoena to squash that subpoena. He wants nothing to do with that case. He’s made that clear. For three and a half years, he has said he knows nothing and will not participate in that case.”

Chrisean Rock Says “Free Blueface” As She Proclaims Love For Her Former Boo

Chrisean Rock is taking another 180 in her love life, specifically with someone who people thought she was over. Turns out that, when it comes to the volatile and downright combative relationship between her and Blueface, it’ll likely always be a back and forth. Moreover, you may remember that the former Baddies star accompanied him along with their son Chrisean Jr. to turn himself in for apparent parole violations. Following that, she just took to Twitter to proclaim her support and love– yes, love– for the rapper. In addition, Rock included a long video of them at the club, which comes quite out of context as we don’t have a solid timeframe of when this took place.

“#FreeBlueface [blue heart emoji] [rainy cloud emoji] [star emoji] I love you,” Chrisean Rock captioned this video. For any other couple, this would be a sweet moment, but fans have seen this act far too often to think anything significant might change. The two are almost always at odds, whether in true-blue physical fights or disagreements over past relationships, cheating accusations, raising their son, and a whole lot more. However, if we are to give the benefit of the doubt, it seems like actually going through with this arrest brightened her perception of Blueface.

Chrisean Rock “Loves” Blueface, Calls For His Freedom

Furthermore, the California MC also has a lot of love to give, as he apparently love-bombed both of his exes while behind bars. At least, that’s what he showed to Jaidyn Alexis during a phone call from jail that recently surfaced online. Chrisean Rock claimed that Blueface said the same to her, but a lot of people expressed skepticism at that. Regardless of what’s true or not, her being open to a reconciliation is something that could bear much harsher consequences down the line, and we don’t even know if he’d agree.

As such, hopefully the Baltimore native just focuses on her family and her son, patiently waiting for the 26-year-old to return. It’s not like the have to be on bad terms; in fact, it would be great if they can just co-parent happily and healthily. But hopefully that’s what she’s shooting for here, because she has a long list of receipts as to why they just shouldn’t date each other. With that in mind, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Chrisean Rock and Blueface.

Chrisean Rock Accompanied Blueface To Turn Himself In With Their Son, Chrisean Jr.

Blueface recently turned himself in for apparent parole violations, and although that legal case is still pretty unclear, one thing that’s not is Chrisean Rock’s support. Moreover, a new clip emerged of her accompanying her on-and-off-again boo to the jail facility, and she even took their recently-born son Chrisean Jr., too. Of course, a lot of people will be disappointed by this, given that they want the two as far away from each other as possible. Whether you support the Baddies star or the California MC, you can agree that their relationship has been a volatile, chaotic, and overall harmful one on a personal level for both.

But when times get tough, the tough get tougher, and it’s at least kind of heartening to see them put things aside to come together for something much larger-scaled. Chrisean Rock previously seemed to react to Blueface’s arrest with sadness, which let off some warning signs for many fans. Unfortunately for them, their fears came true, but we doubt that this will prompt a full reconciliation. If history’s proven anything to us, it’s that every week is a clean slate when it comes to this couple’s status.

However, it seems like Blueface was more prepared than he should’ve been to react to this trouble. After all, he just dropped an EP titled Free Blueface, a seven-song offering with features from DDG, Kevin Gates, Tru Carr, and YungMagnificent. It arrived shortly after the 26-year-old’s manager Wack 100 announced that he went to the slammer. As it became clear that he turned himself in and that this is as much of a press opportunity as it is a legal move, then all the hullabaloo around this stint makes more sense.

Well, it makes more sense in terms of there being a big marketable push behind it. Why wouldn’t the upcoming Rap Queens West host squeeze out some more dollars from obstacles he has to overcome anyway? All we can hope for is that Chrisean and Junior can reach an uninterruptedly amicable relationship with their currently incarcerated family member once and for all one day. Tory Lanez Gets Prison Visit From His Son

Tory Lanez is still fighting to reverse his legal case from behind bars, but at least unfruitful and unwarranted endeavors found balance with family. Moreover, TMZ reports that his six-year-old son Kai recently visited him in prison for two weekends straight after not being able to spend the holidays together at all. Their alleged source is Ceasar McDowell, a member of the rapper and singer’s legal team and CEO of Unite The People, who spoke to the publication. For those unaware, Lanez is currently at California Correctional Institution Tehachapi and is about four months into his 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.

Furthermore, an undisclosed family member took Kai to the facility, and Tory Lanez spoke to his son right upfront, not from behind a glass wall. They reportedly sat at a table for about 4-5 hours on Saturday and Sunday on both weekends and played board games, drew, and got some vending machine snacks. It wasn’t quite the extravagant meal that the Canadian artist got for Christmas, but surely a memorable and enjoyable bite nonetheless, especially with the world’s most important company. Apparently, McDowell relayed that Tory loved seeing his son after no holiday time, despite the fact that they communicate frequently regardless of physical interactions.

In fact, Tory Lanez showed Kai to the world quite often during his court case, as he took him to trial on various occasions throughout 2022. We all know how it turned out, and no matter which side you fall on with that debate, it’s still quite relevant and important to discuss and evaluate. For example, one of the trial’s most prolific journalists, Meghann Cuniff, recently released merch inspired by Tory’s insults towards her. As such, we’ve seen how, as the factual legal case wrapped up, the court of public opinion remains open long after.

Meanwhile, a recently surfaced picture of him in prison shows him in good spirits. We’ll see if there are any more direct or indirect updates on the 31-year-old’s general state and legal status. At least family is never too far away. For more news on Tory Lanez, come back to HNHH.

I mean front-row seats. When I was leaving, he gave me $15,000.” From there, Boosie recalled plenty of other celebrities remarking, “Free Boosie,” during his time behind bars, but not keeping the same supportive energy when he got out.

Big Meech Might Be Out Of Jail Next Year After Sentence Reduction Bid

Big Meech, the co-founder of the Black Mafia Family (BMF), might get yet another sentence reduction in his 30-year stint, according to AllHipHop. Moreover, he and his legal team asked for another three-year reduction, one that he previously nabbed back in 2021, moving his scheduled release from May 2031 to May 2028. Meech faced conviction for money laundering and running a national crime enterprise, for which he received over $270 million in drug trade profits from the late 1990s until 2007. His previous reduction came after a reevaluation of drug quantity and chemical quantity across all related charges.

Furthermore, now Lil Meech’s father and his lawyer Brittany K. Barnett of the Burned Alive project think they deserve a step further. They motioned for another sentence reduction of three years, which if approved, would set Big Meech’s release date for May of 2025. In addition, their argument cited Section 18 582(c)(2) of the U.S. Criminal Code (U.S.C.), which states a judge can reduce a sentence if sentencing rules for their charges became more lenient after the conviction. This pairs with an April 2023 amendment which eliminates certain “criminal history status points” for select individuals with criminal history.

Big Meech Release Prison Next Year Sentence Reduction Bid

Specifically, it seems like this eliminates “status points” imposed during an individual’s sentence, and Barnett believes this amendment would strike at least two points off the former crime boss. As this law came into effect in November of 2023, they believe he is qualified for another reduction as outlined in the U.S.C. Big Meech has done a lot to change his image, outreach, and philosophy while in prison. For example, he contributed to many charity events in his community and wants to rebrand BMF under the “Build More Families” moniker for positive change.

“Notably, Federal Bureau of Prisons (B.O.P.) staff observed that ‘Flenory has displayed a dedication to remaining physically fit and has taken it upon himself to lead and teach exercise classes to other inmates,’” his lawyer remarked. “He also leads regular focus groups out of various self-help books and appears to [have] a positive mental health effect [on] other inmates.” We’ll see whether the court is compassionate to the “Power” critic’s efforts.
