Wind gusts have also hit about 102 mph according to the AP News. Additionally, over 475 mudslides were reported across the state as well. Tory Lanez is still fighting to reverse his legal case from behind bars, but at least unfruitful and unwarranted endeavors found balance with family. Moreover, TMZ reports that his six-year-old son Kai recently visited him in prison for two weekends straight after not being able to spend the holidays together at all. Their alleged source is Ceasar McDowell, a member of the rapper and singer’s legal team and CEO of Unite The People, who spoke to the publication. For those unaware, Lanez is currently at California Correctional Institution Tehachapi and is about four months into his 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.

Furthermore, an undisclosed family member took Kai to the facility, and Tory Lanez spoke to his son right upfront, not from behind a glass wall. They reportedly sat at a table for about 4-5 hours on Saturday and Sunday on both weekends and played board games, drew, and got some vending machine snacks. It wasn’t quite the extravagant meal that the Canadian artist got for Christmas, but surely a memorable and enjoyable bite nonetheless, especially with the world’s most important company. Apparently, McDowell relayed that Tory loved seeing his son after no holiday time, despite the fact that they communicate frequently regardless of physical interactions.

Lil Uzi Vert is unloading some pretty significant property. Back in 2021, Uzi spent $4.4 million on a mansion in Bell Canyon just outside of Los Angeles. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the mansion is absolutely state-of-the-art sitting on 1.35 acres of land. It’s 7000 sq. feet of house with five bedrooms, plus a pool and jacuzzi. The house has reportedly been Uzi’s primary residence since they made the purchase in 2021 but it may not be for much longer.

Lil Uzi Vert has reportedly listed the mansion for sale for $6 million. The sale could net the rapper a nice $1 million plus in profit if it goes through at the listed price. It’s unclear at the time if Uzi has any idea of where they may head to next for a permanent residence, or if there are any buyers actively interested in the mansion. ACC Adds Stanford And Cal, Officially Killing Pac-12

The presidents and chancellors of schools in the ACC voted Friday (September 1) to admit Stanford, Cal, and SMU to the conference in 2024. This brings the east coast powerhouse to 18 full members, with 17 participating in football. However, the move also officially kills any hope that the Pac-12 brand would live on. Stanford and Cal were two of the four remaining Pac-12 members following a mass exodus earlier in the summer. While some discussions were had about rebuilding the Pac-12, it appears that the two prestigious colleges had other ideas. Previous votes had failed. However, NC State flipped their vote to support the move.

“We are thrilled to welcome three world-class institutions to the ACC, and we look forward to having them compete as part of our amazing league. Throughout the evaluation process, the ACC Board of Directors, led by [University of Virginia] President [James] Ryan, was deliberate in prioritizing the best possible athletic and academic experience for our student-athletes and in ensuring that the three universities would strengthen the league in all possible ways. Cal, SMU and Stanford will be terrific members of the ACC and we are proud to welcome their student-athletes, coaches, staff and entire campus community, alumni and fans,” ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips said in a statement.

Pac-12 Dies As ACC Grows

As mentioned, the move leaves the Pac-12 as the Pac-2 heading into 2024. The only teams left in the conference at the time of writing are Oregon State and Washington State. Those schools had been in talks with the AAC, also known as The American. However, per ESPN‘s Pete Thamel, those talks have broken down as a result of the news coming out of the ACC.

It’s the latest move towards collegiate football adopting a superconference model. The Big 10 and ACC will have 18 schools apiece in 2024. Meanwhile, the SEC and Big 12 will each have 16 schools from next year. If the two remaining Pac-12 schools join the nearest conference, the Mountain West, they will push league membership. All this comes as the collegiate football season kicks off in earnest over the next few days.
