Lil Durk Adopts A Lil Wayne Flow On “Smurk Center”

Lil Durk has never been on the same track with Lil Wayne. However, this song could change that moving forward. Honestly, it is quite surprising that both of them have not worked together. It feels like their styles could mesh very well. But alas we do not have one yet. However, with “Smurk Center” out, maybe this will get Weezy’s attention.

We say that because if you take a listen to Durk’s new song, it is fairly clear who he was inspired by for it. Even the inflection in his voice has hints of the Louisiana rapper in it. The biggest nod has to come from the flow, though. There is something about the cadence that just evokes classic Wayne.

We got the first taste of the album with the lead single, “God Slippers.” While Gates did not announce the release date for the tape, we now have that information at our disposal. However, this could be tentative, as a great deal of artists like to relentlessly push back the date.

According to Genius, we can expect The Ceremony on December 1. In addition to that tidbit, it seems we have a tracklist as well. 17 songs are listed with just two features. Perhaps, that could change too, but for now, that is what we know. Ironically, Kevin has just dropped the song with those guests today. He has grabbed Sexyy Red and B.G. for the second single, “Yonce Freestyle.” This track comes in the wake of Gates teasing it on TikTok a couple of days ago. Fans were chomping at the bit for this to come to fruition and now its here.

Saucy Santana and DJ Akademiks’ feud began when Ak dissed Yung Miami, and claimed her use of a gay slur was disrespectful to Saucy Santana. He clapped back, siding with Yung Miami. They traded various jabs, and eventually, Saucy Santana threated to “beat” and sexually assault the personality. DJ Akademiks then got emotional about the situation during a live stream, claiming to be afraid to diss Saucy Santana because he thought he’d get canceled. While some fans had empathy for his situation, others took the opportunity to remind him that he hasn’t held back with his takes on Black women.

Yung Miami, for example, made note of the impact his comments had on her while she was pregnant. “I was in tears when he laughed and was trolling about my car getting shot up while was 6 months pregnant,” she wrote. Chris Brown Drops One More Track Ahead Of “11:11” With “Nightmares” Featuring Byron Messia

Chirs Brown is one of the most prolific R&B crooners of this generation, if not the most. He drops albums fairly regularly and when he does they are massive listens. For example, his most recent offering, Breezy, was 24 songs and lasted over an hour and 20 minutes. But, it did not stop there.

A deluxe version came out, adding nine more cuts, extending the runtime to almost two hours. Finally, Chris Brown added one more extended edition on November 18 near the holiday season called, BREEZY – It’s Giving Christmas. It brought the final total to 35 songs with a listening experience lasting one hour and 56 minutes. Because of this, fans were saddened by the fact that 11 tracks were originally making the cut.

However, Brown decided to add another 11 songs. We already have some singles out for the project, with “Nightmares” being the most recent.
