In his native Toronto, Canada, NAV concludes his 22-date Never Sleep Tour with a sold-out performance at Scotiabank Arena. NAV is the first Canadian rapper to headline the venue since Drake, thanks to his performance on Tuesday. During his performance, Nav brought out some unexpected surprise guests last night, including Travis Scott, Meek Mill, and Lola Brooke. SoFaygo, & RealestK were the tour’s support acts.
The producer and rapper, who was born in Canada, has had a successful and still developing career. With four albums under his belt, he has achieved two #1 Billboard Top 200 albums and four Top 10s, accumulating billions of streams. Demons Protected by Angels, his most recent album, is his third consecutive to debut at #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop and Rap Charts. NAV, Wheezy, Pro Logic, Boi 1da, Money Musik, Tay Keith, BenjiCold, Rex Kudo, and others contributed to the production of Demons Protected by Angels, which was executive produced by NAV and Amir “Cash” Esmailian and featured Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Future, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Bryson Tiller, Babyface Ray, and Realest K.

Nav Brings Out Travis Scott, Lola Brooke, Meek Mill In Toronto
Nav is often trolled on the Internet for a variety of reasons but it’s quite clear that the online hate doesn’t translate accurately in the real world. Throughout the course of his career, he’s faced scrutiny for his sound and image but over time, he won the masses over. The work that he put in resulted in a sold-out show in his hometown of Toronto on Tuesday. The rapper hit the stage at Scotiabank Arena for the Never Sleep 2023 tour where he performed his biggest hits and fan favorites but he also brought out a few guests.
Similar to how Drake brings out the biggest stars for OVO Fest in Toronto, Nav took a page out of his book. The Canadian rapper brought out a slew of guests on stage including Meek Mill, Travis Scott, and Lola Brooke, who captivated the crowd with “Don’t Play With It.” Scott came through to perform their hit record, “Biebs In The Trap” while the Philadelphia rapper came out for “Tap.” Nav clearly pulled out all the stops for his latest concert and took advantage of his celebrity resources.
Nav’s Sold Out Show
The Never Sleep tour launched in support of Nav’s latest album, Demons Protected By Angels, which arrived in the fall of 2022. The new album boasted appearances from Travis Scott, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Don Toliver, Future, and much more. The project debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 with 67,000 units sold in its first week. Demons Protected By Angels marked his first project since Emergency Tsunami with Wheezy.
Nav might have just completed his latest tour but he has more music in store for fans this year. The Canadian artist announced that the sequel to his 2017 self-titled project was on the way. Earlier this year, he blessed fans with the single, “Lately” to kick off off the campaign for Nav 2. Unfortunately, he hasn’t set a release date for the project but it seems like it could sometime soon. Nav Will Livestream His ‘Never Sleep Tour’ Closing Show In His Hometown Of Toronto On April 11
According to Nav, Canadians have better manners. So, to showcase the respectable demeanor of his fellow citizens of the North, the rapper has something special in store for the final Never Sleep Tour stop. The tour initially kicked off in February with special guests RealestK and SoFaygoand. Over the course of the tour, singer Bryson Tiller came on board. Now, the tour is coming to an end.
To celebrate the end of the tour tomorrow (April 11), Nav will live stream his closing set in via Twitch. In the announcement video uploaded to social media, the entertainer’s headlining performance at the Scotiabank Arena in his hometown of Toronto will be broadcast for free beginning at 10 pm eastern time via his record label’s official Twitch channel, 3point5.
When discussing how to pandemic shook him after being forced to shelter in place, the producer told Complex, “Being inside the house, it kind of humbled me because I was always on tour, and people were always in my face and screaming for me. It just humbled me and made me deal with a lot of issues that I didn’t know I had. And that helps the music and the content.”
