Ice Spice’s “In Ha Mood” Music Video Shoot Had The Bronx Turning Up

In recent years, no one has had a come-up quite like Ice Spice. Just last summer, it was her “Munch (Feelin’ U)” single that turned the world on its head, and now, her “in ha mood” track is having a similar impact on the masses.

While it first started gaining attention thanks to apps like TikTok, the song is now available across all streaming platforms. From the looks of things, we’ll also be getting an accompanying music video in the near future. If the rising rap diva’s past work counts for anything, this one is sure to be equally as lit.

TMZ obtained footage of the Bronx baddie filming in her borough of the city on Monday (January 16). In the clip, Spice stands on top of a car while rapping along to her bars. Instead of her signature ginger afro, she’s sporting a sleek, straight hairstyle with bangs.

“Like, what? Let’s keep it a buck / Bitches too borin’, got ’em stuck in a rut,” the crowd sings along as the New Yorker dances and flaunts her figure. “Lamborghini roarin’ when I hop out the truck / Pretty bitch like Lauryn with a big ass butt, yup.”

Many eyes were on Spice at the shoot, but the dancers in the crowd are what really kept the energy going. Even in the chilly winter temperatures, they clearly know how to have a great time and enjoy the music.

As it turns out, yesterday’s set was actually for the 23-year-old’s collaboration with Lil Tjay, “Gangsta Boo.” However, the latter is under arrest after law enforcement made contact with him at a traffic stop. It’s been said he was brought in in connection with an “alleged weapons violation.”

At this time, we know that five men were inside the vehicle with four handguns. Fans are presently waiting for more details regarding the situation. With any luck, we’ll see Spice and her colleague on set together in no time.

The Weeknd Heads To Pandora In “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” Music Video

The Weeknd’s returned with a set of visuals for his contributions to Avatar: The Way Of The Water.

The Weeknd dropped “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” in December. The song serves as the official theme song for the blockbuster hit, Avatar 2: The Way Of The Water. Today, he shared the official visuals nearly a month following the film’s release. Directed by Quentin Deronzier, the video captures the mysterious allure of Avatar while flashes of The Weeknd cut in between scenes. Though the singer isn’t necessarily the star, the music video bridges together his song and the film even more.

The Weeknd explained how his contributions to the song felt like a full-circle moment in his life. When the first movie dropped, he was homeless and dropped out of high school without any certainty of where his future was heading. However, the film felt like “such an escape” from his real life. Additionally, Cameron specifically wanted The Weeknd to provide the soundtrack.

“It feels kismet and it’s a full-circle moment for me to be a part of something like this, because it is such an important film for me,” he said.

The Weeknd worked alongside Swedish House Mafia and James Cameron to bring the song to life. “The best part about writing the song was getting notes from James and making sure that all the lyrics and the tones fit the themes of the film. I think I rewrote the song maybe six times to make sure it was perfect, he said.

A$AP Rocky Marks 10 Years Of “LONG.LIVE.A$AP” With “Angels” Alternate Video

It’s been nearly five years since A$AP Rocky delivered his Testing album, and while fans are undeniably eager for new music from the father of one, the hiatus has given us plenty of time to celebrate the rest of his discography.

Today (January 15), the New Yorker’s debut project, LONG.LIVE.A$AP marks its 10-year anniversary. Complete with hit songs like “F**kin’ Problems” with Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar and “Hell” featuring Santigold, the effort has been in streaming rotation since its initial debut.

Another fan favourite from the tracklist is “Angels,” which arrived later on the deluxe cut. At the time it came with a music video, but to celebrate a decade of success, Rocky dropped off an alternate visual for audiences on Sunday afternoon.

As HipHopNMore reports, the clip finds the 33-year-old linking up with friends in NYC. The late A$AP Yams is prominently featured in some never-before-seen footage.

Of course, the new release takes inspiration from the original, though this version is shorter. In his usual fashion, Rakim Mayers made a few noteworthy changes to keep things fresh to help his audience celebrate.

Throughout “Angels,” Rocky chiefly raps about his violent and drug-filled childhood before his inevitable rise to fame. He gets vulnerable about selling marijuana and crack cocaine at a young age and recruiting other children to aid him in his illegal endeavours.

His new visual has been sitting well with fans, with many of them singing its praises in the comment section. “10 years later and still fresh,” one person wrote. “Rocky a real trendsetter.”

Others added, “This song is so timeless,” and “Give this man a Lifetime Achievement Award for visuals while he’s alive please!”

Floyd Mayweather Trains Armani White For New Music Video

Armani White is fresh off the release of his brand new single, “GOATED.” Featuring Denzel Curry, the track finds the two claiming their dominance in the rap game.

An accompanying music video also arrives along with the song. Floyd Mayweather Jr makes an entertaining appearance, training the rapper in his TMT gym. Additionally, it appears as though the duo had a great time behind the scenes as well.

According to footage from TMZ, the pair were putting in some work in between takes on set. The “DIAMOND DALLAS.” rapper gets some lessons on footwork and punching techniques on the heavy bag. Additionally, of course, White returns the favor by showing Floyd how to do the “GOATED shoulder dance” that he’s pushing alongside the song.

The retired undefeated boxer’s appearance is a testament to the Philadelphia native’s undeniable growing popularity in the rap game.

“GOATED” serves as the first single to the 26-year-old’s forthcoming EP, which will allegedly be out later this year. His last EP comes in the form of 2021’s deeply personal, Things We Lost In The Fire.

Of course, White broke onto the scene with his viral hit song from last year, “BILLIE EILISH.” It was popular on TikTok before it even saw an official release. The track is rather short, clocking in at just over a minute and a half. However, it certainly manages to pack a heavy punch, as the Philadelphi’s native infectious energy and speedy flows take centre stage.

Denzel Curry, on the other hand, is fresh off his successful year in 2022. In March, he dropped his fifth studio album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future. The 14-track project boasts features from T-Pain, 6LACK, slowthai and more.

SZA Drops “Kill Bill” Music Video

Since her second studio album SOS dropped last month, fans have made SZA’s “Kill Bill” a standout song on the 23-track project. On Tuesday night, the Grammy-winning singer gifted her fans with visuals for the song, which offers a nod to Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill series.

Featuring Vivica A. Fox, who plays Vernita Green in the 2004 film, the music video shows SZA out for blood and vengeance. After an assassination squad shoots up her trailer, she dons a sword and rides out in the night on a motorcycle to take karma into her own hands.

Finding the man who ordered the hit, SZA then faces him before ripping his heart out. The visual’s final scene shows the singer-songwriter naked and tied up as she continues to sing the track’s melodic lines.

Fans quickly turned “Kill Bill” into a hit, faithfully streaming the song and also making it go viral on social media. With the not-so-subtle lyrics about killing her ex-boyfriend, SZA sings, “I might kill my ex, not the best idea / His new girlfriend’s next, how’d I get here? / I might kill my ex, I still love him though / Rather be in jail than alone.”

“The Weekend” singer continues in another part of the song, “I’m so mature, I got me a therapist to tell me there’s other men / I don’t want none, I just want you / If I can’t have you, no one will.”

Proving to be a solid followup to her 2017 album Ctrl, SOS is already a clear hit. Featuring Travis Scott, Don Toliver, ‘Ol Dirty Bastard, and Phoebe Bridgers, the project quickly snagged the number one spot on Billboard’s 200 chart and remains after four weeks.

SZA also announced her accompanying tour after breaking the internet with SOS. Stopping throughout North America, the St. Louis Native is bringing her fresh hits to Toronto, New York City, Inglewood, Chicago, and more.
