Megan Thee Stallion Stuns In Her First Instagram Post Since Tory Lanez’s Trial

Megan Thee Stallion is finally getting back into the fold. Over the past few months, the Houston Hottie has rightfully laid low in the wake of Tory Lanez’s conviction. However, it appears that she’s ready to return to the limelight. Over the weekend, she made her first public appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars party where she looked completely stunning. During this time, she also confirmed that she had new music on the way. However, she didn’t provide fans with a timeline on when it would drop or when she might have a new single.

Still, it seems like Meg’s gearing up to drop something soon. If not, she at least wants to stunt on her haters. Megan Thee Stallion shared her first post on Instagram on Monday – her first since Nov. 28th, 2022 when she covered Forbes’ 30 under 30 list. Considering how rampant social media commentary was during Tory Lanez’s trial, her absence was expected. However, fans and peers celebrated her return to the ‘Gram. Yung Miami slid into the comments, writing, “Breathtaking,” alongside several fire emojis.

Megan Thee Stallion’s 2023 Takeover

In the past week, Megan Thee Stallion began plotting her 2023 run. She’s currently scheduled to perform at her first concert of the year. Meg will headline her upcoming show at AT&T Block Party, which she expressed the utmost excitement about. “There’s no place I’d rather be for my first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston,” she said in a statement. “The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe. I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them.”

Perhaps, we’ll hear some new tunes from her forthcoming album. On the Oscars red carpet, she confirmed that she has a new album on the way. Though she didn’t reveal too many details, her upcoming performance at AT&T Block Party and her scheduled set at Outside Lands Festival is a sure sign that she’s coming to dominate the summer, once again. Boosie Badazz Thinks Tory Lanez Lost Case Because Courts Side With Women

A verdict has been reached in the Tory Lanez case, but Boosie Badazz has a few more thoughts about the trial. For over two years, people speculated about the July 2020 shooting that injured Megan Thee Stallion. The incident was a hot topic in pop culture: two chart-topping artists engaged in a scandal where one named the other as the shooter. Lanez denied the accusations as soon as they hit the internet, even antagonizing Megan in his songs. However, after a jury heard testimony and Lanez’s jailhouse call to Kelsey Harris, they found the singer guilty.

Lanez was scheduled to be sentenced weeks ago, but it was learned that the hearing was delayed. As he waits, Boosie Badazz sits down with VladTV, discussing the controversy again. According to Boosie, he knew Lanez would be found guilty because the courts side with women. Additionally, he said he refrained from commenting during the trial because he didn’t want his ideas to sway opinions.

Boosie Predicted The Conclusion

When many Hip Hop figures chose sides in the scandal, Boosie stayed out of the chaos. He previously said it was because he knew Megan and Lanez and didn’t want to get involved. However, now that the case is over, it’s open season. “I can comment now. ‘Cause you know, I didn’t want my interview to stir which way, but I knew he would be found guilty. You never saw a man and a woman go through something, and that man wins. Never. Johnny Depp won. He got that money [from] that b*tch. She went too far.”

“Domestic violence, I’ve never seen nobody win in court when it’s a woman against a man,” Boosie further said. He also named celebrities accused of violence or assault against women. “Mike Tyson, Tupac, it goes on. Bro, I didn’t wanna say this, but I never seen when something like that happens, that a man comes out victorious on a woman. And I been wanting to say this four interviews ago.”

Lanez Fights The Verdict

Meanwhile, Lanez is gearing up for his appeal. He’s hired a new team of attorneys for the next phase of his case, so his sentencing hearing was delayed. He is facing upwards of 20+ years behind bars. His supporters remain vigilant and continue to harass Megan with allegations of making false statements. Her fans have defended her. Check out more from Boosie Badazz above.

Megan Thee Stallion Is Working On New Music, Jokes About “Auntie” Beyoncé

Is it time for another Megan Thee Stallion SZN? Her Hotties believe so, especially after the rapper made a grand return to the spotlight over the weekend. For months, sightings of the Traumazine hitmaker have been few and far between. She’s been laying low since the verdict was reached in the Tory Lanez trial, but it looks like we’re entering a new era for the Rap star. Megan looked stunning at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and hinted that new music was coming.

This look was Megan’s first time on the red carpet since December. She looked radiant in a Bach Mai custom gown while adorned in luxury diamond pieces, including a show-stopping ring. “The designer is from Houston, Texas! His name is Bach. He got me snatched tonight,” said Megan about Bach. There were also jokes about Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour tickets. Megan kidded she wouldn’t reveal who gave her the passes but confirmed she wouldn’t miss it.

The interviewer joked about Megan having a direct line to the Knowles-Carters. She’s managed by Roc Nation, so it was no surprise the rapper would attend. “You know I called them directly!” said Megan with a laugh. “Beyoncé! Let me get a ticket!” Additionally, every year, Bey and Jay-Z host their exclusive Oscars party—and Megan revealed she was also invited to that. “You know Beyoncé is my auntie!”

The Houston Hottie added that she had to stop by the Vanity Fair event for a “quick one, two.” She added, “This is my first night out, and I’m here, and I’m ready.” So, is she working on music? “Oh, I am. New album, f*ck you hoes, bye!”

A Rough Season For Thee Stallion

Megan faced public ridicule for over two years after she alleged Tory Lanez shot her in the foot. What unraveled was unlike anything we’ve seen recently, as Lanez and his supporters openly targeted Megan throughout. They argued that she was lying about what occurred, even pointing fingers at one of the only other witnesses, Kelsey Harris. The two women were once best friends, but the incident caused a divide.

Alternative theories were presented during the trial, but a jury found Lanez guilty. He was initially scheduled for sentencing in late February, but he reportedly has to wait until April to learn his fate. Check out Megan Thee Stallion enjoying her night out above.

Megan Thee Stallion Confirmed She’s Working On A New Album At An Oscars Party

Megan Thee Stallion has been laying low for a while but she hasn’t been idle. The Houston rapper made a rare public appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars party over the weekend, where Entertainment Tonight reporters asked her if was working on new music. Her affirmative response came in the usual Megan Thee Stallion way: “Oh, I am! New album. F*ck y’all hoes, bye!” before she scampered off to join the party.

That’s certainly good news — no pun intended — for all the fans who have been waiting for a follow-up to her most recent release, Traumazine. And with Tory Lanez’s shooting trial in her rearview mirror after he was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic handgun, perhaps her next album will mark a return to the carefree Meg that her fans first fell in love with on the Tina Snow EP.

And if not, at least it’s nice to know she’s ready to start getting back out there and doing what she loves. At the end of this month, she’ll perform in her hometown for the first time since 2019 at the AT&T Block Party. With her lawsuit against 1501 Certified Entertainment cleared to proceed to trial, she might be free of her old label obligations, too, so fans certainly have plenty of reasons to look forward to Meg’s new tunes.

Megan Thee Stallion Returns To The Red Carpet For Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party

Hot Girl Summer is obviously on its way because Megan Thee Stallion made her first public appearance of the year on Sunday (March 12) evening. We saw the “Freak Nasty” hitmaker quietly step out for her birthday last month, but for the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, she didn’t hesitate to make her presence felt. She wore a sultry, strapless custom Bach Mai black gown with mesh detailing around the cleavage as well as a flirty mermaid skirt.

Her accessories were minimal and elegant – a silver chain around her neck, a few slashy rings, and beautiful dangling earrings. As always, Thee Stallion’s face card proved to be very valid. Her eyeshadow appeared to be a dusky brown look, and her cheeks were perfectly contoured. As for her lips, the 28-year-old’s pout was camera-ready thanks to a dark shade of liner and a pretty pink glossy top coat.

What really stole the show, however, was Megan’s hair, which she left natural in a gorgeous afro. Her curls, in conjunction with the flared bottom of her gorgeous dress, make the rap diva’s silhouette look more full and luscious than ever before. Not only did she pose for photos on the red carpet, but inside the event, we also saw an unexpected link-up between Thee Stallion and Canadian comedian Seth Rogen, who took several snapshots together.

The Texas native’s absence online has certainly been felt in recent months. Following Tory Lanez’s guilty verdict in their long-awaited shooting trial, Thee Stallion understandably took some time to process her trauma and heal in wake of finally being validated. Thankfully, she also announced her upcoming return to the stage this month a few days ago, which has since had her fanbase, Thee Hotties, buzzing.

A Houston Hottie Homecoming

On Friday, March 31, the fashionista will be headlining the AT&T Block Party in her hometown. This marks her first time performing in Houston since 2019’s Astroworld Festival, which came shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Lil Nas X will also be taking to the stage at the event, though his set will occur later in the weekend. Megan Thee Stallion’s First 2023 Concert Taking Place In Houston This March

Some artists have already begun showing out in the first quarter of the year, dropping off singles and full-length projects to entertain audiences and show off for the competition. Megan Thee Stallion, on the other hand, has kept mostly quiet since the ending of Tory Lanez’s tumultuous trial. It ultimately concluded with the Canadian being found guilty of previously shooting her in the foot. While winning against the father of one certainly felt good, the Texas-born artist has been keeping any celebrations lowkey as defence lawyers attempt to free her assailant.

As per Uproxx, the “Hot Girl Summer” hitmaker has finally announced that she’s ready for a comeback. On Friday (March 10), it was revealed that she’ll be taking to the stage in her hometown later this month. She’ll be at the AT&T Block Party, which takes place from March 31st through April 2nd in Houston’s Discovery Green park. It’s scheduled to unfold at the same time as the Men’s Final Four weekend.

In a statement, Thee Stallion expressed her excitement over booking shows once again. “There’s no place I’d rather be for my first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston,” she gushed. “The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe. I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them.”

Other names on the setlist include Lil Nas X, Maggie Rogers, and Mickey Guyton. Those acts are due to perform after Megan’s show, on the second and third days. It’s been noted that the 28-year-old’s last performance in her hometown dates back to 2019’s Astroworld Festival. This took place shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic shut most of the world down. The Houston hotties are surely grateful for their coach’s long-awaited return to the stage in the Lone Star state.

Future Endeavours for Thee Stallion

News of her return to the stage certainly has the internet buzzing, but it’s got nothing on the intrigue surrounding Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s reported B.A.P.S remake. Director Robert Townsend confirmed earlier this month that the “WAP” collaborators are among those who have asked to be cast in the project. Of course, nothing is official just yet, but many would love to see the two rap divas further their acting skills alongside each other. Read more about that here, and make sure to check back later for more hip-hop news updates.
