Adin Ross Gets Upset At Drake For Allegedly Following His Ex and Sister On Instagram

In August 2022, streamer Adin Ross was surprised by a call from Drake while he was streaming. Ross’ star has faded immensely since that point. While still an incredibly popular streamer, Ross is permanently banned from Twitch and currently streams on the controversial platform Kick.

Furthermore, his engine runs a lot more on drama these days. A devout Andrew Tate follower, Ross now generates clicks by telling people to kill themselves on social media. As recently as last week, Travis Scott’s manager told Ross he was a “brand risk” and big-name artists just don’t want to be associated with him. Not surprising given Ross has co-streamed with self-described Nazis. However, Ross now appears to be trying to get Drake back on the phone. Or, at the very least, start some beef.

Ross Reacts To Drake’s Alleged Instagram Follows

During a stream last week, Ross opened up an image posted to his community Discord. The image claims to show Drake’s Instagram follows, with the accounts of Ross’ ex and sister at the top of the list. Ross looks at the image in shock for a few seconds before responding. “Damn chat, so Drake decided to follow Pami and Naomi. Drake. You follow them before you even follow me. You don’t reach out, none of that, that’s cool. I just don’t get why. I just don’t understand how you’re going to follow my sister and my ex and not follow me.” It appears as though Ross really took it personally that he couldn’t get that follow from Drake.

However, as his chat rightly pointed out while he reacted, the image is fake. HotNewHipHop has independently confirmed that Drake follows neither individual on Instagram. It’s likely that the meme was intentionally designed to up Ross and if that’s the case, it definitely did the job. Ross’ reaction to not being followed by Drake is kind of pathetic, especially for someone who supposedly buys into the whole “alpha male” lifestyle. Regardless, Ross was duped by his Discord server and the world got to laugh at his expense. Follow all the latest music news and viral videos here at HotNewHipHop.

Lil Wayne Will Livestream Final “Welcome To Tha Carter” Tour Stop

If you didn’t get a chance to catch Lil Wayne on his “Welcome To Tha Carter” tour, at least you now have a chance to witness its greatness from the comfort of your home. Moreover, Weezy announced on Monday (May 1) that he and his team will livestream the trek’s final stop, which is in The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles on May 13. Furthermore, the stream will begin at 9 p.m. PDT (12 a.m. EDT) that night, followed by a rebroadcast at 8 p.m. AEST and 8 p.m. BST the next day. In order to access these airings and recordings, fans will pay $15 for their livestream tickets, which are available here. The final stop of the 28-date tour might bring more exceptional moments, like when Lil Wayne brought out Drake in Toronto.

Other highlights of the “Welcome To Tha Carter” tour, aside from Tunechi’s consistently amazing performances, involve his guests. For example, NLE Choppa gifted Lil Wayne a stunning custom chain at his Boston concert, which features four Mount Rushmore-like figures of the New Orleans native representing his different eras. In addition, Wayne and Cam’ron performed their collaboration “Touch It or Not” for the first time ever while he stopped at Harlem for his tour.

Unfortunately for some, the successful tour ran into some pitfalls along the way. Fans in Atlanta took to social media to vent after the 40-year-old had to cancel his show there. While neither he nor his team explained why beyond “unforeseen circumstances,” hopeful concert-goers expressed a mix of anger, disappointment, but also concern for his well-being and safety. Fortunately, since then, it seems like things have gone great, and will end even greater now. For more updates on this story and the latest news on Lil Wayne, log back into HNHH.

Frank Ocean’s Coachella Live Stream Seemingly Cancelled, Twitter Reacts

The final hours of Coachella weekend one are winding down. Patrons are certainly eager to catch the most highly anticipated headliner of the weekend, Frank Ocean. The Blond artist’s set is due to begin at 10 PM PT. Many have been counting down the hours until showtime all weekend long. Thankfully for those who couldn’t make it to this year’s event, the festival has been streaming several performances live via YouTube. While fans of Ocean have been looking forward to watching his first concert in years from the comfort of their own homes, speculation began circulating online on Sunday (April 16) evening that Coachella won’t be giving us a glimpse into the final show of the night.

It’s worth noting that Friday and Saturday’s main events, Bad Bunny and BLACKPINK, both made their sets available to audiences at home. Today, however, acts like Bjork and Ocean were notably missing from the streaming schedule, causing major concern to fly. “When is Frank Ocean gonna stop the anonymous game?” one Twitter user openly pondered upon hearing the news. “You’re not [an] underground artist. We all know what you look and smell like and know your favourite colour.”

Frank Ocean Headlines Coachella 2023

Several others chimed in with memes and videos depicting their reaction to the potential cancellation. Though undeniably dramatic, the outrage is understandable considering tonight marks Ocean’s first performance since 2017. He previously trended online last week as music lovers realized he likely wouldn’t be dropping a new album ahead of his Coachella set as many anticipated. Rather, the 35-year-old has kept quiet as of late, with his last official release coming in the form of 2020’s “Cayendo” and “Dear April.”

Prior to that, 2019 gave us singles such as “DHL” and “In My Room,” while 2018 saw the arrival of “Moon River.” He hasn’t delivered a full-length project since 2016, though we’ve got our fingers crossed that will change soon. Scroll on to read more reactions to Coachella reportedly cancelling Frank Ocean’s live stream, and check back later for more music news updates.

As for choosing Travis Scott as the festival headliner for Saturday night, Tariq Cherif told Variety that they’ve had a relationship with him for years. “We’ve been booking Travis Scott since 2015. From the way he captivated the crowd on our second stage, we knew he was going to be a star,” he told the outlet. “He’s our most demanded artist and we look forward to bringing him back on our stage.” As for any safety concerns, considering the events that occurred during the 2021 Astroworld Festival, Matt Zingler said that the festival is “taking everything into consideration. “We learned from our own mistakes and the mistakes of others,” Zingler said, before adding, “We take everything into consideration and we’re constantly growing.”

Rubi Rose Exposes Alleged DMs From DDG, His Reaction Caught On Livestream

DDG may be denying that his relationship with Halle Bailey is over, but Rubi Rose has receipts that prove otherwise. Earlier this weekend, the Kentucky native caused a stir online when she seemingly threw shade at the couple on Twitter. At the time, Rose markedly shared a message about an ex of hers letting his “new bitch” wear her old clothing. Internet sleuths immediately realized that The Little Mermaid actress wore an all too familiar shirt in a recent Instagram Story, quickly pointing fingers toward her and DDG.

In another post, the “He In His Feelings” hitmaker made it known that she has no direct beef with Bailey. However, she does think the Michigan native is a “weirdo,” and she didn’t hesitate to tell him so. As a result, hundreds of his fans flooded the replies with receipts proving that Rose herself isn’t exactly innocent.

Most of the drama between DDG and his former lover played out yesterday. On Sunday (February 12) afternoon, though, Rubi added more fuel to the fire with some screenshots from her DMs. The image shows alleged messages sent to her from the YouTuber’s verified account. “[You] still in LA?” he seemingly asked her on Tuesday (February 7). “Yeah,” she replied 16 minutes later.

When Bailey’s beau asked Rose what she was doing, she wrote back, “Getting ready, hbu?” Then, in another message, called him out for reaching out to her while apparently fighting with his girl. “[You] hitting me the day y’all argue is so [you] lol.” DDG wasted no time in responding, “Lol [you] right, lemme go heal first.”

After dropping the receipts, the 25-year-old continued to speak her truth on Twitter. “All boys are the same,” she sent out this afternoon. Afterward, she clapped back at a now-deleted tweet from the Epic Records artist. “[You] so f*cking sassy wtf lol,” Rubi clowned him. “He mad I wouldn’t go home with him after Caresha’s party,” she additionally explained.

Upon seeing the latter comment, DDG vehemently denied the allegations. “Superrr [cap]. N*ggas is not pressed over you.” At this point, Rose took extra measures to prove that she didn’t alter the previous screenshot. The recording artist took a video of her creeping her ex’s profile and subsequently opening the DMs from him.

Unfortunately for the “Elon Musk” hitmaker, he was in the midst of a live stream when notifications from Rubi began pouring into his phone. Based on his reaction, he’s clearly irritated by the situation, and even yells about “hating this bitch.” Watch it all play out in the video below, and tell us your thoughts on the drama in the comments.

Akademiks Gets Egged In The Face During Stream

There’s hardly ever a dull moment on Akademiks’ stream — even if he falls asleep. Though Ak typically only has guests call in during his stream, he wasn’t alone on a recent stream.

As Akademiks discussed the latest development in the FBG Duck murder case, a woman, who many believe is his girlfriend, began hurling things at him during the stream. At one point, Akademiks gets hit in the face with a Red Bull can. Then, the tension builds up and the woman takes a raw egg and smashes it in Ak’s face. Surprisingly, no one noticed immediately as it happened but Ak was left speechless.

Aside from the recent egging, Akademiks and Blueface have continued to throw shots at each other. Following Blueface and Chrisean Rock of public disputes, Akademiks and Blue began to criticize each other of their rap careers and money. Ultimately, it hit a boiling point, and Blueface proposed that they enter the ring to settle their differences.

“Fight the 10 Ni***as who piped ya girl out + the the girl who keep beating ur ass and IM100% down Nigga. MMA shit,” Akademiks wrote. “Imma buy ur foreclosure house and kick u and ur child and the mother of ur child out and the 10 niggas she done f*cked!!!!!”

Akademiks later doubled down, adding that he has $50K to determine whether Blue’s the father of Chrisean Rock’s child.

“I got $5 K per N***a who F*cked BLUEFACE girl who down to get on my twitch stream breaking it down how it happened,” Akademiks continued. “F*ck maury. BIG AK finna do a paternity test for that broke Ass N***ga BLUEFACE . Im pledging $50k for this effort. WHO GOT BLUEFACE girl pregnant.”

In response, Blue wrote, “Ak is offering 5k to 10 n****s to take the fade for him. I must be the big bad wolf or some cuz he was so gangsta for lil baby.”
