Kendrick Responds to J. Cole and Disses Drake
Kendrick responded to J. Cole and Drake‘s “First Person Shooter” via a verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That” from their We Don’t Trust You album. In his verse, Kendrick rapped, “F**k sneak dissin’, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches.” Later in the verse, he rapped, “Motherfuck the big three, nigga, it’s just big me.” With those bars, K.Dot showed he had come for Drake and J. Cole and duly set the rap scene ablaze, shocking many fans. Fans waited to see what Drake and J. Cole’s response would be. They didn’t have to wait long.
J. Cole was the first to respond to Kendrick’s diss directly. He did so through a song on his surprise mixtape Might Delete Later. In the project’s last song “7 Minute Drill,” J. Cole addressed K. Cole made a public apology to Kendrick during the Dreamville Festival in North Carolina on April 7. In his apology, J. Cole said he was proud of his project, Might Delete Later, except for one part. He said, “There’s one part of that sh*t that makes me feel like, ‘Man, that’s the lamest sh*t I ever did in my f*cking life.’ And, I know this is not what a lot of people wanna hear. I can hear my n***s up there right now like, ‘Nah, don’t do that.’ But, I gotta keep it 100 with y’all. I damn near had a relapse.”
J. Cole further said he was blessed to know Kendrick and Drake. He added, “I felt conflicted ’cause I’m like, bruh I know I don’t really feel a way. But the world wanna see blood… so I say all of that to say, in my spirit of trying to get this music out, I moved in a way that spiritually feels bad on me. I tried to jab my n***a back and I tried to keep it friendly.” J. Cole emphasized that being in a rap beef disrupted his peace. He concluded by praising Kendrick, saying, “I wanna say right here tonight, how many people think Kendrick Lamar is one of the greatest muthaf*ckas to ever touch a microphone? Dreamville, y’all love Kendrick Lamar correct? As do I.” J. Cole also promised to remove “7 Minute Drill” from all streaming platforms and kept to his word.

Two weeks after J. Cole apologized, Drake released “Push Ups,” his first diss track and direct response to Kendrick, sparking their rap beef. Fans have taken aim at a Detroit Pistons-affiliated Wingstop promotion as the Pistons matched their franchise-record losing streak. For the 2023-24 season, the restaurant had offered “five free boneless wings with every online order for every Pistons win.” However, the Pistons have now lost 21 games in a row, matching the mark set across 1979/80 and 1980/81 seasons. “Wingstop shamefully moving a little further from the scores after every loss ,” Bleacher Report social media programmer Molly Morrison wrote on X. However, she alleges that Diddy drugged her during dinner, before filming them while he raped her. Furthermore, she claims that she was later made aware that the video of the assault had been shown to and viewed by multiple people. The wave of allegations against Diddy has come after his former long-time partner Cassie released a series of horrific allegations against him in her own suit.
However, the pants-down photo isn’t Fif’s first attack on Diddy since the allegations came out. “LOL. He paid that money real quick, should have done that before the sharks saw the blood in the water. Furthermore, social media users unearthed an old clip from Drink Champs in which Fif spoke on Diddy. In the clip, Fif told a bizarre story about Diddy really wanting to take the G-Unit mogul shopping. It’s unclear what the complete context of the story was. However, Fif definitely appeared to use it to imply that Diddy wasn’t all that he seemed to be.
Famous Dex has issued a warning to Druski after the latter posted a video of the former fighting with Soulja Boy. “Lol @druski u post that old ass video of me an Soulja Boy on Mac grave when I see u ima beat tf outta u. an u can’t come to Chicago cause it’s gone be another chain gone u p-ssy gay a– dude, I don’t play with u I don’t even know you [shrug emoji] But why u posting me like a b-tch can’t wait to see u have that same energy,” Dex said on Instagram. The Coulda Been Records CEO reportedly ran away from Birdman, leaving the Cash Money mogul with Druski’s Coulda Been chain. However, Druski has argued that he held his own in the confrontation. “Of course, TMZ wouldn’t show all the camera angles… I HANDLED MINES #WasRunningToTheTrunk #DatGetbackAMuhf-cka. However, Druski isn’t the first person Dex has slapped with a ban from the Windy City this year. Back in July, Dex issued a similar warning to King Lil Jay after it was reported that Jay had kissed another man while in prison. In a response on Instagram, Dex told Jay he “can’t come back to Chicago” and called him “gay” multiple times in reference to the video. This later backfired, with fans largely taking Jay’s side and accusing Dex of relapsing.
Furthermore, Jay has adamantly denied that it’s him in the video. “Soon as y’all put dude up actually saying some gay sh-t y’all would try to put me on there. Look at that sh-t.
