Lil Uzi Vert said he’s doing less talking and more working and he said he’s returning to the old Uzi. He went on his Instagram story to release a message to his fans in regards of his new music.

The message read, ““This time less talkin’ more working,” Uzi wrote on IG. “Going back in classic mode. I been [through] 2 much this time around. Nothin’ can break me.”

For a while Lil Uzi Vert had been promoting what seems to be his next album, The Pink Tape and has been teasing new music. Although he hasn’t dropped many new tracks, the Phily native has been on wax. Nigo featured him on a track called “Heavy.” Nigo is the founder of Bape and the song was feature on his album  I Know Nigo.

He also collaborated with Mura Masa on “Bbycakes,” and last year he dropped “Demon High.”

Lil Uzi Vert Says He’s ‘Going Back To Classic Mode’ For His New Music

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve received a solo project from Lil Uzi Vert. While he’s given us several fire features, as well a collaborative mixtape with Future, Uzi hasn’t given us a full-length project of his own since 2020’s Eternal Atake. Yesterday, Uzi took to his Instagram story to give us an update on his new music.

“This time less talkin’ more working,” said Uzi. “Going back in classic mode. I been [through] 2 much this time around. Nothin’ can break me.”

Uzi may be referring to The Pink Tape, his long-anticipated follow-up album to Eternal Atake. He first announced The Pink Tape last year, teasing it all throughout 2021. While attending an event at the 40/40 club last year, Uzi said of the album, “…it’s going through the mixing process right now because last time I dropped an album, it did really well,” Uzi said. “[Eternal Atake] was actually my highest-selling album but it was a little bit experimental on the mixing part, not the actual music, so this time, I went experimental with the music and traditional on the mixing.”

While it was originally planned for October of last year, Uzi revealed he is deciding to take his time on The Pink Tape to make sure “it won’t suck.

[WATCH] Lil Uzi Vert Pulls Up On A$AP Bari In NYC

Screen Shot 2022 04 29 at 9.44.34 AM

Apparently, Lil Uzi Vert wanted all the smoke with ASAP Bari, as a viral video shows the Philly rapper pulling up on the ASAP Mob member at NYC swank hotspot Lucien.

The video shows Bari and a crew of people standing up in the restaurant, while Bari is yelling at someone, who is presumably Uzi Vert.

“What is you doin’?!” yells Bari, while the person off-camera is then heard telling Bari, “Shut up, b*tch.”

Uzi Vert needs to tread lightly as he is already on probation for assaulting ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd and SAINt JHn and pulling a gun on them in Los Angeles. Uzi was ordered to participate in a program for mental health and substance abuse issues and has also been placed on a ten-year criminal protective order.
