Here Are The Louder Than Life Festival Set Times For 2023

The annual Louder Than Life festival will take over Highland Festival Grounds in Louisville, Kentucky from this Thursday, September 21, to Sunday, September 24. Foo Fighters, Weezer, Tool, Limp Bizkit, Green Day, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Turnstile are among the many notable acts, and the festival has shared its set times.

The full schedule is available on the Louder Than Life mobile app, but the festival posted Sunday’s schedule to Instagram.

On September 24, the doors will open at noon local time. The festival features five stages: Loudmouth, Space Zebra, Disruptor, Revolver, and Road Hounds. The likes of Run The Jewels (5:45-6:35 p.m. local time), Turnstile (6:40-7:35 p.m.), and Queens Of The Stone Age (7:40-8:50 p.m.) will lead up to Green Day’s headlining set from 8:55 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.

Per the app, the acts scheduled to perform on September 21 include White Reaper (3:15 p.m., Loudmouth), Beauty School Dropout (4 p.m., Revolver), Coheed & Cambria (4:40 p.m., Loudmouth), 311 (5:30 p.m., Space Zebra), Weezer (7:30 p.m., Space Zebra), and Foo Fighters (8:45 p.m., Loudmouth).

Friday, September 22, will get underway at 12:25 p.m. with Flat Black. Later in the day, attendees will be treated to the likes of Megadeth (5:35 p.m., Loudmouth), Limp Bizkit (6:35 p.m., Space Zebra), and Tool (8:55 p.m., Space Zebra).

On Saturday, September 23, Avenged Sevenfold’s headlining set is scheduled for 9:15 p.m. on the Loudmouth Stage.

Here Are The Fuji Rock Set Times For 2023

Caution: reading any further will likely induce FOMO.

Fuji Rock Festival 2023 is hitting the slopes of the Naeba Ski Resort within Japan’s Niigata Prefecture from Friday, July 28, to Sunday, July 30, with the likes of Alanis Morissette, Daniel Caesar, Denzel Curry, Foo Fighters, Lizzo, The Strokes, Weezer, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and several more in tow.

The expansive event will unfold across eight stages, plus The Palace Of Wonder, and everything will kick off on Friday at 8:30 a.m. local time. Plenty of acts will warm up the crowd for Caesar (7 p.m.), Curry (8 p.m.), Yeah Yeah Yeahs (8:10 p.m.), The Strokes (9:10 p.m.), and NxWorries (10 p.m.).

On Saturday, July 29, Benee will take the Green Stage at 1 p.m., followed by Morissette (5 p.m.), Ellegarden (7 p.m.), and Foo Fighters (9:10 p.m.). The White Stage will host the likes of Dermot Kennedy (2:20 p.m.), Caroline Polachek (6 p.m.), and Louis Cole (10 p.m.). Attendees can also catch D4vd (2 p.m.) or Weyes Blood (4 p.m.) on the Red Marque stage.

The final day, July 30, will still pack plenty of punch. The Green Stage will finish out with Gryffin (3 p.m.), Yuki (5 p.m.), Bad Hop (7 p.m.), and Lizzo (9:10 p.m.). Weezer will close out the White Stage beginning at 10 p.m., and several acts are scheduled to play into the early hours of Monday morning, July 31.

Post Malone, SZA, And Green Day Are Headlining The 2022 Outside Lands Festival Lineup

Along with Coachella, San Francisco’s Outside Lands festival is easily the most comprehensive music fest on the West Coast. While last year’s heavily-costumed edition took place over Halloween weekend as pandemic precautions delayed it a few months, Outside Lands 2022 is back to its usual early-August weekend and the newly announced lineup has a little bit of everything. Green Day, SZA, and Post Malone are headlining the three-day affair, which goes down from August 5th to 7th at one of the greatest venues in country, Golden Gate Park.

The first batch of artists on the lineup following the primary headliners is likewise stacked with Jack Harlow, Phoebe Bridgers, and Weezer coming next. Also performing are Lil Uzi Vert, Ilennium, Kali Uchis, Disclosure, Mitski, Anitta, and Mac DeMarco. And while this is looks like a top-heavy affair on the surface, there’s a seemingly endless list of diverse acts that standout like Pusha T, Kim Petras, Dominic Fike, The Marías, Larry June, Wet Leg, Pussy Riot, Robert Glasper, Griff, Cassandra Jenkins, L’Rain, Duckwrth, and more.

The SOMA Tent also makes its return this year, making it so that the indoor dance music tent seems to be here to stay. While it’s a bit antithetical to the concept of “outside” lands, it was obvious that the festival needed to bring this type of element into the fold so this year’s acts like Claude VonStroke, Tokimonsta, Dixon, and others could play in the club-like atmosphere that their music is best suited for.
