Wack 100 Reveals The Origin Story Behind His Beef With J Prince

During his most recent sit-down interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV, Wack 100 finally explained the origin of his combative beef with J Prince. Apparently, Wack sought to protect an older woman who had exclusive Larry Hoover footage and rights to interview him in prison in 1998. He wanted to make a television series on Hoover using this footage and access, particularly around his transition to a more clean and advocacy-driven image. The executive also relayed that he was working with Kanye West a lot at the time, as this was around Ye’s concert with Drake advocating for Hoover’s freedom.

Furthermore, Wack 100 reached out to J Prince to collaborate on this footage’s distribution as a lead-up to a Larry Hoover film. What caused a rift between the two, according to Wack, was how Wack felt that the Houston rap icon gave the woman a poor deal rather than making a fair, fruitful, and inclusive partnership. Then, the Los Angeles manager took this to social media, posting evidence clapping back at Prince’s claim of no involvement, and now they are fully at odds with each other.

Wack 100 Explains J Prince Beef

However, Wack 100 did recognize the good things that J Prince has done for hip-hop, his community, and more, but still expressed his staunch support of this woman throughout this situation. These clashes between executives are nothing new within the game, but it seems like the advent of social media made them even more common and varied over the past fifteen years. Everyone’s looking for a big slice of the pie, and everyone has loyalties that don’t mesh well with business. Nowadays, it seems like a lot of their back-and-forth also involves some street developments, which hopefully don’t escalate.

Not only that, but this feud between Wack 100 and J Prince also roped in their other affiliates, so there is plenty of room for things to get even more confrontational. Again, if they can keep that to social media statements and interview explanations, then that would be ideal. Otherwise, it would just be one more sticky situation that goes far beyond what was necessary.

Wack 100 Further Flares Up J Prince Feud By Popping Off On Willie D

Wack 100 usually finds himself in the middle of beefs everywhere he goes, and his fellow music executives are no exception. For those unaware, J Prince seemed to diss him during an Instagram Live talking about “social media gangsters.” “Ain’t a body out here with me other than me, you know what I mean? Because it’s love, respect and fear,” the Rap-A-Lot Records founder expressed. “[…] I don’t receive [fake personas], I don’t condone it, and I don’t even like the n***as that that support it. Because I over understand what’s going to come with that.” Wack took this personally.

“THIS BOZO @jprincerespect GOT MY NAME IN HIS MOUTH BUT BLOCKS ME FROM COMMENTING,” Wack 100 shared on social media regarding J Prince. “EVERYBODY ELSE CAN COMMENT BUT HE TOOK THE TIME TO BLOCK #WACK[100] FROM COMMENTS AND SAID MY NAME SO MANY TIMES THE CHAT IS ASKING HIM WHY HES SCREAMING MY NAME. I HAVE REAL ESTATE IN HIS MIND. ASK HIM WHY @jprincejr HAS A SEAL FILE ASK EM TO ADDRESS THAT N DA HOOD. WE BOTH KNOW YOU WERE NICE ASF WHEN I CAUGHT U 1 On 1.”

Wack 100 Blasts J Prince & Willie D

Now, Wack 100 took things even further by popping off on J Prince and on Geto Boys member Willie D during a recent live conversation on social media. He brought up his alleged scuffle with the former again and talked about their disagreements and differing movements. This is certainly far from Wack’s only fiery social media feud as of late, as we have another example from the hip-hop-adjacent world to talk about. He and YSL Woody are battling it out online, and it doesn’t look like things are going to get any cleaner for the two.

As for J Prince, he also has his own issues with Lil Woody, but it seems like Wack 100 is not down to find common ground with him. Hopefully, they can hash out their beef in private and not escalate things to an exaggerated degree. We all know how dangerous these feuds can be, especially when they have nothing to do with the craft that these individuals partake in.

Wack 100 & J Prince Appear To Be At Odds Again After The Record Founder’s Shady IG Live

Tell us if you have heard this before… Wack 100 has an issue with someone/something. Well, that’s true once again as the talent manager is seemingly back in a verbal war with record founder J Prince. Wait haven’t we talked about this several times already? We have, yes, but the feud is back on it appears. According to AllHipHop, J Prince looks to be the culprit of starting this off beef with Wack 100 after posting an ambiguous video to his Instagram Live recently. He’s walking in public and starts rambling about “social media gangsters” without namedropping anyone in particular. In the video, Prince is essentially flexing that he can walk around with no one but himself.

“Ain’t a body out here with me other than me you know what I mean. Because it’s love, respect and fear,” he says. He then goes on about others putting on a “fake” representation of themselves online. “I don’t receive it, I don’t condone it, and I don’t even like the n****s that that support it. Because I over understand what’s going to come with that.” This got under Wack’s skin as he took the time to go off on Prince, claiming that he was targeting him with because one of the people tuning into that Live said it was about him.

Wack 100 Calls Out J Prince

Wack wrote back in heated fashion and saying that he’s in Prince’s head. “THIS BOZO @jprincerespect GOT MY NAME IN HIS MOUTH BUT BLOCKS ME FROM COMMENTING. EVERYBODY ELSE CAN COMMENT BUT HE TOOK THE TIME TO BLOCK #WACK[100] FROM COMMENTS AND SAID MY NAME SO MANY TIMES THE CHAT IS ASKING HIM WHY HES SCREAMING MY NAME. I HAVE REAL ESTATE IN HIS MIND. ASK HIM WHY @jprincejr HAS A SEAL FILE ASK EM TO ADDRESS THAT N DA HOOD.” He also called him out for pretty much double crossing him, saying that him and Prince’s recent interaction went well not too long ago. “WE BOTH KNOW YOU WERE NICE ASF WHEN I CAUGHT U 1 On 1,” he added.

J Prince Addresses Rumors His Office Was Raided By Feds

Today, rumors that J Prince’s office was raided by federal agents have been circulating on social media. According to him, however, there is absolutely zero truth to them. Recently, the Rap-A-Lot Records founder spoke with Baller Alert to set the record straight, dismissing the rumors without any hesitation. He also slammed those spreading the false information, making it clear that he’s not at all interested in engaging with them.

“The people that start these rumors, tell lies for a living,” he told the outlet frankly. “I don’t have time to keep up with their bullsh*t.” It sounds like J Prince is fed up with fabricated stories about him popping up online, and fans can’t blame him. Fortunately, it also appears that he has no problem firing back and shutting down people making up their own theories.

J Prince Shuts Down “Bullsh*t” Rumors About Office Raid

This is far from the first one he’s had to deal with lately, after all. In fact, it’s not even the first one this month. During an appearance on Way Up With Angela Yee a few weeks ago, one of Diddy’s former bodyguards Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman theorized that J Prince is allegedly behind the public downfall the mogul is currently experiencing. As for why he thinks this, Big Joe says that Diddy’s alleged fight with Drake several years back could mean that J Prince still has hard feelings.

“After listening to people explain the situation to me, I think J Prince is one of the main culprits behind trying to destroy Puffy’s character,” he alleged at the time. This remains unconfirmed at the time of writing. What do you think of rumors that J Prince’s office was raided by federal agents spreading on X today? What about him finally setting the record straight? Can you blame him for being annoyed? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Diddy’s Former Bodyguard Alleges That J Prince Is Behind Many Diddy Lawsuits

A former security member for Diddy, Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman, continues to deny Thalia Graves’ allegations in her lawsuit that the two witnessed someone sexually assaulting her, and that it was allegedly all on videotape. “I’m not questioning her integrity,” Sherman told NBC. “I’m questioning her claims against me. I wasn’t the head of security. You got the wrong man. I’ve never seen you. I’ve never done anything negative with you. I’ve never been in the same room with you. Not only wasn’t I there, I wasn’t even in New York.” Later, he called into Way Up with Angela Yee to further attempt to clear his name.

“Not only did she DM me, but she also tried to guide me through the DMs, explaining all I needed to do was write a statement like others did,” Big Joe said of his alleged messages with Thalia Graves. “I said, ‘Keep me out of what?’ But then she brought up Mr. J. Prince, saying they’d be down there.” Then, Big Joe theorized that J. Prince is allegedly the person pushing for many of Diddy’s alleged victims to sue him and speak out against him in order to ruin his reputation.

Big Joe Alleges That J Prince Is Responsible For Many Diddy Lawsuits

As for the reason why, Big Joe suggested that it’s because of the alleged scuffle between Diddy and Drake about a decade ago. “After listening to people explain the situation to me, I think J. Prince is one of the main culprits behind trying to destroy Puffy’s character,” he told Way Up. It’s important to note that these are all just allegations and speculative theories at press time, as neither Sean Combs nor the Houston executive have addressed this specific issue as of writing this article.

Meanwhile, others like DJ Akademiks are also trying to figure out who else might allegedly be behind these alleged Diddy scandals. “Full exposé, I don’t care who’s behind it,” he expressed during his livestream. “Meek, send the $100,000 over. By the way, can somebody send this message to Meek Mill? I found out who’s behind the Diddy and Meek Mill press. Everything going out. I found out the person. I have the name, I have the report. But I need the $100,000 in my bank account before I give it to you, Meek Mill. I found out who was behind making sure that a n***a who be in the trenches is actually – his name is going to be aligned with Diddy and other people. But as you said, I need that $100,000.”

J. Prince Calls Out YSL Trial Testimony: ‘Black-on-Black Racism Feels the Worst’

J. Prince Responds to NBA YoungBoy: 'You're a Dumb Boy with Limited Thinking Ability and Disrespectful

J. Prince is not a fan of everything in the YSL Trial. After another hectic Lil Woody testimony, where he mentioned Thug was “trying to be the J. Prince of Atlanta,” Prince sounded off on the court process:

Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to fake-ass people putting my name in their mouth. But I still find it very interesting how some prosecutors will go above and beyond the call of duty to try and destroy a man’s life for being inspired by a successful Black entrepreneur like myself. Btw, Black-on-Black racism feels the worst. #freeyoungthug

– J. Prince

Lil Woody’s testimonies in the YSL trial get more insane by the day. When reading a transcript, Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, would not say the n-word, which Woody caught on to and asked what “N” was during a court session.

“What is ‘n,’” Woody said to the word’s spelling. “Oh ‘nigga.’”

Earlier this month, the Georgia Supreme Court suspended attorney Jonathan Reuven Melnick for six months due to conduct unrelated to the ongoing trial. Huh, what, wow.

As a result, witness Kenneth Copeland, also known as Lil’ Woody, appeared in court on Tuesday without his attorney—like, no lawyer at all.

During his testimony, Copeland repeatedly responded to Assistant District Attorney Simone Hylton with the phrase, “I don’t recall.”

Get this: Melnick’s suspension was confirmed by a Georgia Supreme Court decision that was released on Tuesday morning. The court order stated, “Accordingly, it is hereby ordered that Jonathan R. Melnick is suspended from the practice of law in Georgia for six months. The suspension based on this opinion will take effect as of the date this opinion is issued and will expire by its own terms six months later.” The State Bar of Georgia’s directory lists Jonathan Melnick as suspended for “non-compliance” with Continuing Legal Education rules, rendering him ineligible to practice law in the state.

So what’s interesting is that after spending most of the morning on the stand, Copeland refused to continue testifying upon learning of Melnick’s suspension, insisting on having legal representation present.

Judge Whitaker, probably as frustrated as everyone else, responded by dismissing the jury for recess and committed to securing a public defender for Copeland in Melnick’s absence. When the court reconvened, Whitaker announced that the appointed attorney would not be available until the next day, meaning Copeland’s testimony could not proceed.

J Prince Goes After Lil Woody & YSL Prosecutor In Scathing IG Post

J Prince called out Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Simone Hylton as well as Lil Woody while sharing a clip from the YSL RICO trial on Instagram on Monday night. In the video, Hylton asked Woody whether he recalled comparing Young Thug to J Prince. The witness claimed he didn’t know who that actually was and brought up his previous admission about lying to police about the rapper back in 2015. “I told you for the 10th time,” he stated, as caught by AllHipHop. “I’m gonna tell the police anything, and that’s what I did.”

“Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to fake-ass people putting my name in their mouth,” Prince captioned his post. “But I still find it very interesting how some prosecutors will go above and beyond the call of duty to try and destroy a man’s life for being inspired by a successful Black entrepreneur like myself. Btw, Black-on-Black racism feels the worst.” He concluded with the hashtag, “#FreeYoungThug.”

As for Woody’s remarks about lying, he made the admission previously during another day on the stand. “The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

J Prince Speaks On The YSL Trial

Prince is far from the first celebrity to speak out in support of Young Thug. In addition to several other hip-hop artists, former President Donald Trump even described his treatment as unfair while speaking with Adin Ross. DJ Retracts Claim That Drake Banned Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” In Texas

Drake’s influence is far and wide. He’s been one of the biggest artists in the world for half a decade. He has a particularly noteworthy influence in Texas, through his connections with J Prince. When it was rumored that Drake and J Prince had banned Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” in Texas clubs, it wasn’t entirely out of the question. The 6 God is known for being petty behind closed doors. J Prince, on the other hand, claims to have been involved with the Pusha T battle back in 2018. His input mad sense too. It turns out, though, that the rumor was untrue.

Ari the DJ was the woman who started the Texas rumor in the first place. She claimed she’d gotten in trouble multiple times for spinning “Not Like Us” via Twitter, which was quickly picked up by various outlets. Ari decided to set the record straight, however, on Instagram. She posted a screenshot of her original tweet, along with a headline detailing the alleged ban. According to Ari the DJ, things got lost in translation. “Headlines can be misleading,” she wrote on her IG Story. “Drake nor J Prince never told me to not play the song.” Ari the DJ then clarified that the orders to avoid “Not Like Us” came from people who respected Drake.

Drake Did Not Tell Club Promoters To Ban The Song

“Promoters and people that respect those guys told me not to and it was understood,” she explained. “That’s it, that’s all.” This isn’t the first time Drake has been accused of making life difficult for Kendrick Lamar and his TDE cohorts. ScHoolboy Q accused the rapper of getting his recent concert in Toronto shut down due to the ongoing beef. “TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH” Q tweeted. Partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium. If we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…”

There’s no evidence to link Drake to the cancelation of ScHoolboy Q’s concert. That being said, the venue for the show did have affiliates with the 6 God, as well as Live Nation. Drake has been quiet on record when it comes to the Kendrick Lamar beef, but rumors have continued to swirl that he has more music coming. The rapper has fueled these rumors on social media. On July 22, Drake posted a photo wearing a Tupac shirt reading: “Only God Can Judge Me.” Sounds like the war is still going on to us…

Cam’ron & Ma$e Rip J Prince Apart Amid Shakur Stevenson Beef

There is a new installment in the Cam’ron & Ma$e versus Shakur Stevenson beef, as the latter’s manager, J Prince, fires back. If you pay attention to the boxing world, you know that the young and speedy fighter has been trading words with the It Is What It Is panel. This heated debate’s origins trace back to last weekend after the still undefeated lightweight boxer defended his title against the underdog, Artem Harutyunyan. Stevenson went on to win by judge’s decision after showing off his incredible defense and tactical approach. However, a lot of viewers of the violent sport are not too keen on his style, including Ma$e and Cam’ron.

Ma$e started things after saying that he does not want to see Stevenson fight anyone ever again during the segment on their show. It got around to the WBC athlete, and that kicked off the beef. As we mentioned, it is still going, as J Prince is now getting involved, according to AllHipHop. If you are wondering why a musical artist manager is speaking on a boxer’s behalf, it is because Stevenson has been a client of his since late 2016. Prince clapped back at the podcast duo by sharing that his last match was the most watched boxing event of the year.

In the caption, Prince wrote, “NUMBERS DONT LIE HATERS DO”. He then went on to @ the talk show, “And to all of you haters who want to escalate that hate outside of the ring I’m Shakur’s manager and I handle all his business outside of the ring. In other words, Cam and Mase I will fade all his shots and take all bets”. However, Cam’ron and Ma$e are standing firm on their position. They returned the favor by resharing an interview with Top Rank‘s Bob Arum explaining why Stevenson’s methods do not attract the eyes. It Is What It Is also had some choice words for J Prince, stating, “THE FIGHT WAS “FREE 99” SO YEA #’s DO LIE SOME TIMES, N****S MAD AT US FOR SAYING WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE SAYING INCLUDING THE PEOPLE WHO #SHAKUR WAS SIGNED TO “FOH”.

Yasiin Bey’s Drake Apology Has Fans Theorizing That A Call Was Made To J Prince

Yasiin Bey and Drake have been embroiled in a bit of a feud as of late. Overall, it all started when Bey came out and said that Drizzy’s music is “compatible with shopping.” Although what he said made sense, there were many fans who were a bit offended. Furthermore, Drake himself was pretty upset with the comments as he went on more than a couple of Instagram story rants. Having said all of that, it seemed like the two men were past all of this. After all, Drizzy has other fish to fry as Megan Thee Stallion is dissing him now.

Well, on Monday night, Bey came through with an apology for the Canadian MC. While speaking in front of his phone, the legend rapper offered some nice words for Drake, while clarifying that he wishes the artist would use his talent for more politically-charged raps. “Drake, if you’d like to speak to me directly, you can at any point,” Yasiin Bey began. “I reached out to [Dave] Chappelle, actually reached out to you. I DM’d you. You are a very talented MC, but for me, I require more of myself and others than just talent or charm or charisma — particularly in times of urgent crisis. And what I would like to see in terms of creators or creative people in the world, as it relates to our culture, is for people to connect with us beyond the jukebox or the dance floor.”

Drake Ghosted Yasiin Bey?

He eventually finished off the apology by saying, “A fair-weather friend can hardly be called a friend at all. The people who party with you — that’s cool. But will they show up for you when you’re at the triage?” Subsequently, fans began to clown on the apology due to Bey’s presence in front of the camera. The angle and the tone of the apology seemed forced in the eyes of some. This led to all kinds of jokes about how Drake put in a call to J Prince. Below, you will find a bevy of tweets in which fans joke about J Prince standing behind the camera, watching Bey’s every last move.

Fans Sound Off

It is highly unlikely that this is what happened, however, Twitter does not care. The jokes are going to fly, regardless. Let us know what you think of this apology, in the comments section below.
