Kodak Black Seemingly Gets Emotional After Fan Says He Needs To Go To Jail To Sober Up

Kodak Black’s faced his fair share of legal troubles in his career and unfortunately, they continue to persist. The rapper surrendered to authorities earlier this week a warrant was issued for his arrest in his prescription drug case. Yak reportedly failed to show up for a mandatory urine test. However, he posted bond shortly after with his lawyer asking the judge to remove the tight pretrial conditions. The judge obliged under the condition that his bond increases to $250K.

Still, Yak’s recent behavior created concern among his fans. Over the weekend, he appeared troubled on Instagram Live when addressing his recent legal matters. Fans reacted immediately, believing that he might be under the influence and expressing their concern. However, one fan even went as far as telling Kodak Black that needed to go back to jail in order to sober up. “Damn, what kind of person are you? This motherf*cka say, ‘You need to go back to jail and sober up, Yak. For real, for real, man.’” Kodak said on Instagram Live.

Kodak Black’s Emotional Response

After reading the comment out loud, Yak appeared to be emotional in his response, although trying to maintain a leveled approach. “How and why do you feel like that’s the answer to my… whatever you feel like?” he said. Kodak began to explain to recount a conversation he had with an officer who asked him why he was constantly getting into trouble. “I was like ‘shit… when mothaf*ckas know you chosen and sh*t, that’s when they torment you,” he said.

Clearly, the individual suggesting that jail would help him hit a sore spot, and understandably so. There hasn’t really been a time in the last five years that Kodak Black hasn’t been restricted by legal issues. However, in Kodak’s latest courtroom win, his attorney, Brad Cohen, successfully had the judge remove certain restrictions that would allow Kodak to travel without having to check in with pre-trial. Back in the spring, she confirmed that her next studio album is coming this October, and from the singles we’ve heard so far, Minaj is sure to come through with her usual hard-hitting lyricism that will leave listeners doing double takes before laughing. On Monday (June 26), she surprised The Barbz with yet another must-listen collaborative effort, this one with Young Thug and the late Juice WRLD.

“Money” hit streamers after social media lit up with an Instagram Story interaction between the two creatives. Following the debut, Minaj hopped on Live to discuss working with the YSL leader, among other things. “We can’t not have Thug,” she told followers tuning in. “I didn’t realize… I think a lot of people didn’t realize how important Young Thug is to the culture of rap. We really need him home, like this man is a different level of talent,” the mother of one declared.

Elsewhere during her stream, Minaj invited JT (who’s been in the headlines for reasons of her own lately) to join her for a quick chat. The two chopped it up about plenty of hot topics – namely the difficulties of having large breasts. As you may recall, the Trinidadian hinted in an IG post earlier this month that she followed through on her plants to undergo a reduction after giving birth to Papa Bear.

The City Girl certainly didn’t hold back when discussing the woes of being a big-chested woman, but she did bite her tongue when it came to her viral BET Awards spat with Lil Uzi Vert. According to online gossip, JT threw her phone at her partner after he was chatting with Ice Spice during the event. Kodak Black’s Erratic Behaviour On Instagram Live Sparks Fan Concern

Kodak Black’s eccentric personality is the reason so many of his fans admire him. That being said, it’s also been a major cause of concern in the past. The Florida native has been known to get himself in trouble – both with the law, and his contemporaries. Yak appeared to be doing well in recent months, even performing at a teen leadership conference in his home state. However, trouble struck again earlier this month when an arrest warrant was issued for the “Love & War” hitmaker last week.

In the time since then, fans have been expressing concern for Kodak Black. Not only due to his run-ins with the law but also because he’s been exhibiting troubling behaviour on Instagram Live. As XXL reports, the 26-year-old was streaming on Sunday (June 25). He obviously seemed to be in a world of his own while someone else was recording him. In a clip that’s not going viral, Black sits on the floor shirtless. He looks far more dishevelled than we’re used to seeing him.

While being filmed, the southern star rambles nonsensically about a variety of topics. Not only is Kodak’s speech pattern concerning, but his unusual body language has some speculating that substance use is what put him in such a state. “These people be the breadwinner for their friends and family, make sure everybody straight, and they still won’t do everything to protect them in moments like this. Why tf y’all allowing this and then holding the phone to show the world??” one IG user pondered in @theneighborhoodtalk’s comment section.

Aside from concerning fans with his unusual behaviour on social media, Kodak Black has also found himself caught up in the aforementioned trouble with the authorities. This time around, a Florida arrest warrant has been issued for him after he failed to meet the terms of his probation by showing up for a pretrial meeting related to his drug charges. Boosie Badazz Celebrates Release From Jail With Hilarious Request

Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz was initially arrested by federal agents on June 14. Later, it was revealed that Boosie was facing felony gun charges as a result of being spotted with a firearm during an Instagram Live session. Despite reportedly being granted bond on June 20, federal prosecutors appealed the decision. Furthermore, the appeal was upheld, a decision Boosie called discriminatory on social media. “He [the prosecutor] is racist and has evil intentions,” Boosie Badazz said. “Now they filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in prison.”

However, on June 23, it was reported that Boosie had been granted a second bond. Later that same day, Boosie was seemingly released from the San Diego jail where he was being held. While his initial bond was $50,000, the size of his new bond was not immediately made available. To celebrate, he immediately jumped on another live session to announce his freedom.

Unfortunately, as her position in the industry has risen, so have claims linking her to Satanism and the Illuminati, all of which she initially denied. Upon realizing that the comments likely won’t stop, no matter what she does to discredit them, the California native has been doing what she can to jokingly fuel the rumours. Sometimes she sends out tweets with references related to the controversial group, but more recently, Doja debuted a new look that has her looking ethereal and eerie in tandem.

On Monday (June 19) night, the “Need To Know” hitmaker went Live on Instagram as tens of thousands of fans tuned in. While sitting in a pitch-black room, Doja’s face was illuminated by a spotlight, revealing that she was rocking a platinum blonde wig with black streaks at the moment, under what appeared to be a cowboy hat. It was her makeup that caught our attention, specifically her eyes. Not only did Doja put in a set of blood-red contacts, but she also added eyeshadow in the same colour beneath to intensify the look.

Doja Cat Previews Upcoming Single “Balut” During IG Livestream

Doja Cat previewed what appears to be the next single from her forthcoming album during a recent Instagram Live session. The track, titled “Balut,” sees Doja continue focusing on her rap skills in a similar vein to her latest song, “Attention.”

“I think people won’t really vibe with the slow songs,” one fan wrote of the snippet on Twitter. “That’s why everyone likes gun and Vegas. The slow jams like attention are lyrically very great but people don’t listen to music for that anymore if it’s catchy then everyone likes it.” Others were more positive in response. “I think Doja is a fire artist. Love how she does things,” another fan tweeted.

One person unhappy with Doja’s artistic direction is Azealia Banks who roasted the 27-year-old on Instagram, last week. “I really be wanting to like Doja’s music but it’s all just sooo try hard,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Her first album was actually cool as hell,” she continued, calling it “her own authentic art voice.” She added that Doja Cat “sounds like a white girl that grew up in a house,” while remarking that California rap is “purposefully inoffensive and caters to paper shoe Tom and matted hair Abigail.”

Doja Cat has been teasing her fourth studio album for over a year at this point, changing the album title several different times. One point she’s been consistent on is her desire to distance herself from pop music with the effort. Speaking with Variety, earlier this year, she explained, “I know that I’ve done a lot of pink and soft things, a lot of pop and glittery sounds. But for this next era, I’m going in a more masculine direction.”

Lil Uzi Vert Shares New Details About “The Pink Tape”

Fans are hyped about The Pink Tape, the upcoming release from Lil Uzi Vert. Earlier this week, Uzi teased the cover album’s cover art and hinted at potential collaborations. It is believed that Playboi Carti and Ken Carlson will both feature on the album. Elsewhere, Uzi will be headlining at Kid Cudi’s Moon Man’s Landing 2023 event later this year.

The Pink Tape is Uzi’s first major release since 2020. During the first year of the pandemic, Uzi dropped Eternal Atake and Pluto x Baby Pluto, the latter being a collaborative album with Future. Eternal Atake spent two weeks at #1 in March while Pluto x Baby Pluto peaked at #2. Furthermore, Uzi has released two collaborative tracks this year – “I’m Not Human” featuring XXXTentacion and “Watch This” remixed by ArizonaTears. However, Uzi has now shared some more details about what fans can expect from The Pink Tape.

“The Pink Tape” New Details

Speaking on Instagram Live, Uzi gave more details about what fans can expect from The Pink Tape. In regards to collaborations, Uzi continued to tease a Playboi Carti track. “Not that many features but the features that everybody thinks I should have… basically, where I started at is where imma finish,” the rapper cryptically said. However, he did also confirm that a track produced by Ken Carlson would appear.

Furthermore, Uzi revealed that the album will feature 25 tracks, including “Just Wanna Rock” as well as two bonus tracks. Of these tracks, Uzi said were songs that “a lot of people love but didn’t really get to hear.” Additionally, Uzi pointed to a release in the next two weeks (other sources have reported that it will drop on June 30). By now, true supporters of the Baltimore native have accepted that she and the “Thotiana” rapper are stuck like glue. While Chrisean previously shared her plans to deliver her child alone with the support of God, a recent Instagram Live session found her reflecting on the idea of giving birth at home, as we’ve seen other stars like Summer Walker do in the past. “I watched how hospitals do it with babies, and they rough! Lil Uzi Vert Teases More New Music With Bass-Heavy Banger On Instagram Live

Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape is easily one of 2023’s most anticipated and hyped projects not just in hip-hop, but across all genres. That speaks to the reach, acclaim, and success that the Philly native achieved across their stellar career, a status that they’re clearly well-aware of. Moreover, over the past few weeks or so, there’s been no shortage of snippets, teases, and full song previews on the rapper’s social media pages. Particularly on Instagram Live, they shared a lot of as-of-yet unreleased music, whose catalog just got a new entry recently. Hopefully Uzi isn’t capping with the claim that their next album will release later this month.

As for the snippet itself, it’s honestly what you’d expect from the “Watch This” MC, but it doesn’t make it any less fire. There are some powerful and deep bass hits all over the track that really ground it and give it a grimy feel. Of course, there are the trademark Lil Uzi Vert synths present throughout, that do an equally good job of providing both melody and atmosphere. As far as Uzi’s performance, there’s a repetitious chorus and the usual cycled flows, but also plenty of breaks and switch-ups. In addition, no one can rap fast quite like they can, with rapid-fire lines zooming by without messing up their vocal cadence or style too much.

In other Pink Tape-related news, many fans wondered what features, if any, would appear, since Eternal Atake had just one, that being Syd of The Internet fame. However, according to DJ Akademiks and seemingly confirmed by acclaimed producer BNYX, Lil Uzi Vert’s next full-length will feature none other than Houston’s own Travis Scott. While La Flame has his own anticipated-to-death album to worry about in UTOPIA, such a link-up is likely to cause fireworks. The two have only officially collaborated once before on the track “Watch” featuring Kanye West.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old is making sure that The Pink Tape stays safe and sound by carrying it around in a USB around his neck. Even though it may seem more like a promo move than anything, we’re all way too familiar with leaks and hackers ruining the fun for artists these days.
