Kodak Black Says He Wants To Be More Well-Known As A Philanthropist

Kodak Black recently made some very interesting remarks on Instagram Live about what he wants to be known as. While many know him as one of the cornerstone artists of the SoundCloud rap generation still making huge numbers today, the Florida rapper expressed a desire to create a different public image around him. Moreover, he said that he no longer concerns himself with gangster attitudes and the lifestyle his music uses as subject matter. Rather, he wants to get more recognition as a community leader and family man. Whether the public reciprocates his wishes or not, he’s taken steps towards that goal.

“People care to be a gangsta,” the 25-year-old remarked. “They care for n-ggas looking at them like they some type of gangsta. I don’t give a f**k about that s**t you heard me? I don’t live for that. I’m a philanthropist, a good n***a, righteous, all that. I only worry about being a good son and making sure my mom is proud of me. Making sure my family proud of me.” Given how his recent legal troubles had minimal interference with his live shows, this is certainly a good sign that Kodak Black will have a much different legacy than what many assumed about him.

Kodak Black Wants To Change His Public Image

However, that’s not to say that his past mistakes have no bearing on his public image today. For example, he notably appeared on Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers as a principal narrative voice, complete with his own interlude. As the album tackles themes of generational trauma, personal accountability, and a host of other dense topics, many saw his inclusion as either righteous or dangerous given his history of assault. Furthermore, fans had to decide whether him being on the album was enough to repent, or whether to still demand a true change of heart from the “No Flockin” hitmaker given his initial lackluster apology and the fact he doesn’t address it on the album.

Regardless of that controversy, Yak positively impacted his community and family in many ways. Cardi B Reacts To Women Bragging About Everyday Sex: “It’s Not A Flex”

While Cardi B’s music has an undeniably sexual nature that hints at regular promiscuous acts in the bedroom with her husband Offset, the mother of two is making it clear that she’s not a fan of being intimate every single day. Earlier this weekend, she went Live on Instagram, at which time she called out women who publicly brag about the number of times they have sex with their partner. Interestingly, the comments come shortly after Real Housewives starlet Larsa Pippen revealed that she and her ex, Scottie, were getting it on for multiple rounds on the daily during their marriage.

“You practically telling the world that your man on drugs,” the New Yorker ranted to followers tuning in on Friday (March 31). “Your n*gga’s on drugs, your man is on drugs. ‘Cause there ain’t no way.” Cardi then explained that she obviously sees the intrigue in having “sex three times a day.” However, it’s not the kind of thing she thinks a person should indulge in seven times a week. “If your man wanna have sex with you four, five times a day… and we do that every day… Girl, your man is on percs, or your man is trying to convince himself that he likes p*ssy,” the Hustlers actress advised her fans.

Cardi B Speaks Her Mind

She later added, “That is not a flex. Go stitch your p*ssy up. Your man is sick.” As HipHopDX notes, many viewers seem to feel aligned with Cardi’s message. One person wrote, “[There’s] no way [two people] working 9-5 with kids are [f*ckin’] four times a day, it’s just that simple.” Another user chimed in with, “I like sex as much as the next person, but some time out the day [you] need me time. When talking about her sex life with Scottie Pippen, Larsa had plenty to say during part two of the RHOM season five reunion. “I had sex four times a night every night. Just a few days ago, Blueface informed his Twitter followers that he believes his mother, Karlissa Saffold, is the most toxic person in his relationship with Chrisean Rock. Since then, the 26-year-old’s opinion may have changed, as he took to Instagram Live on Saturday (April 1) to give followers an up close and personal look into his tumultuous love life. During his stream, the rapper and his girlfriend were feuding – as per usual – though this time was particularly intense as she threw a vase at him while the camera was still rolling.

In a clip reposted by HipHopDX, Rock insists that her man stop recording her and “get off of Live!” but Blueface refuses to give in to her wishes. “Just leave me alone!” he yells, prompting the 22-year-old to walk over to a table, where she picked up a vase full of flowers. “Bro, if you throw that at me, I swear to God, I’ma beat your f*cking…” the Californian declares before the decorative object hits him. “I don’t care! Get off of Live!” the reality starlet responds.

Crazy In Love Stars Continue to Feud

Later on, in the same video, the “Thotiana” hitmaker makes it known that streaming on Instagram is going to be the thing to “save [him].” He told Rock and fans tuning in, “When you’re found f*cked up, and you go on Live like you do — this is for my safety now.” It remains unclear exactly what Blueface and Chrisean were fighting over this time, though there’s been no shortage of topics that have caused them trouble in the past.

Among them is the Baddies star’s rising popularity within the rap community. This seems to be a point of insecurity for her man, as well as Rock’s apparent pregnancy. When she first announced that she’s with child at the start of 2023, Blueface denied paternity and has even since urged her to get an abortion. Tyrese’s girlfriend Zelie Timothy recently revealed that she was more into Paul Walker at first during an Instagram Live session. Moreover, they hopped on the Gram to dish out some more details concerning their relationship and to generally just have a good time with viewers. Furthermore, when asked about how they met, the actor and singer said he slid into the model and influencer’s DMs. Then, Timothy revealed that she actually wasn’t that interested in him at first, instead preferring his Fast & Furious costar Paul Walker as her “type.” While discussing her emotions, she made sure to pay tribute to the tragically lost actor.

“My type was actually Paul Walker. Rest in peace,” Zelie remarked while caressing Ty. “But [Tyrese] wasn’t my type at all. GloRilla FaceTimes With Lil Durk’s Daughter Who Wants To Collab

In her first years in the mainstream, GloRilla is amassing a huge fanbase. However, no one seems to be a bigger fan than Lil Durk’s daughter. The Memphis rapper has been taking over with her deep-voiced rhymes, moving from “F.N.F.” fame to pop culture appeal. For her next move, Glo released the deluxe edition of her Anyways, Life’s Great project, which hosted a look from Lil Durk on “Ex’s (PHATNALL Remix).” To help hype the track, the pair appeared on Instagram Live together. They cracked jokes about Durk’s daughter’s love for Big Glo during the chat.

In a clip of the rappers’ Live, Durk brought up his baby girl FaceTiming GloRilla. “What she say? She be texting me all the time. She be like, ‘Hey, what you doing?’” GloRilla kidded. Durk said he already knew about it. “She be telling me!” he said. “She be like, ‘Can I text?’” GloRilla doesn’t mind the contact. “Yeah, she be texting me. Durk’s Daughter Wants To Collab With GloRilla

It’s common in Rap that things become a family affair, as many celebrity kids want to follow in their famous parent’s footsteps. According to Durk, his daughter wants to jump on a track with her dad and his most recent collaborator. GloRilla said, “Fa sho! She said when I was talking to her, ‘My dad said I can do a song with y’all.’” Durk was down for it. “Yeah, she called me yesterday talking about, ‘Come on!’ I said, ‘You gotta come out here first!” It all may be jokes, but you never know what could happen in the future.

Meanwhile, GloRilla is feeling the effects of celebrity life. She’s been welcomed with open arms, and her relatable appeal makes her a beloved figure in Rap. However, with the attention also comes negativity. As she racks up streaming numbers and continues to hit stages from coast to coast, Glo has also faced controversy. Three people recently died during a stampede at one of her concerts with Finesse2Tymes. The rappers expressed condolences, but that wasn’t enough for at least one of the victims’ families.

Kid Cudi Hypes Up New Project, Says It’s The “Album Of The Year”

After hinting at retirement, Kid Cudi has been teasing his final album since last year. While the 39-year-old has held an acclaimed rap career since the release of “Day ‘n’ Nite” in 2007, he is bidding farewell to his experimental contributions to hip-hop with this upcoming project. Releasing later this year, Cudi has confirmed that the first track of this “powerful” album will drop on June 1st. On an Instagram live this Thursday (March 9), the Ohio native teased his ninth solo album further, noting how “y’all are going to fuck with this shit in such a major way and I’m so fucking excited.”

Although Cudi’s current work in the studio is fueled by his contractual obligations to Republic Records, he still has put his heart and soul into this final project. “I’ve never made a project this powerful before in my life. Sitting, listening to these mixes, I just know that this shit is going to move you,” he said on IG. Cudi enthusiastically added, “I just wanted to get on here and just let y’all know that I’m not gonna let y’all down. This is gonna be the album of the year right now, I’m not playing. This is not a fucking joke. Tell everybody you fucking know, ok?”

Cudi Describes His Final Studio Effort As “Powerful”

The mastermind behind “Mr. Rager” also took to Twitter on Thursday to drop some more hints about his upcoming work. “Im directing the video for my first single. Shits gonna get wild,” he tweeted. Cudi also hinted at a variety of other projects unfolding for him this year, with more time behind the camera coming up in the near future. “I also booked a really cool tv gig that im thoroughly excited about. Very big deal to me. The blessings are overflowin. News about that soon,” Cudi announced. In a different tweet, he added, “some movies comin this year as well. Think about 3.”

Though Cudi will be stepping away from the studio, he’ll be leaving behind a legacy that transcends music, film, and fashion. In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the father-of-one disclosed how his retirement was to open up more time to spend with his daughter. Ja Morant Addresses IG Live Gun Incident: “I Take Full Responsibility”

Ja Morant has addressed his recent Instagram Live video, in which he flashed a gun in front of his followers early Saturday morning. The Memphis Grizzlies have since suspended Morant for the next two games in response. He will miss Sunday’s game against the LA Clippers and Tuesday’s against the Los Angeles Lakers. Morant spoke about the live stream in a statement provided to ESPN.

“I take full responsibility for my actions last night. I’m sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down. I’m going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being,” he said, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass additionally confirmed that the league is investigating the incident as well. “We are aware of a social media post involving Ja Morant and are investigating,” he said. Morant has also deactivated both his Instagram and Twitter accounts.

The antics from Morant come after the NBA recently investigated him for an incident that occurred after the Grizzlies’ Jan. 29 home win. There was reportedly a confrontation between friends of Morant and the Indiana Pacers’ traveling party. “While we substantiated that a postgame situation arose that was confrontational, based on interviews and other evidence gathered, we could not corroborate that any individual threatened others with a weapon,” Bass told The Athletic. “Certain individuals involved in the postgame situation and a related matter during the game that night have been subsequently banned from attending games in the arena. If additional information becomes available related to the postgame situation, the league office will conduct a further review.” His longtime friend, Davonte Pack, was banned from FedExForum.

Additionally, the Grizzlies will be without Dillon Brooks for their next game, after he was suspended for receiving his 16th technical foul of the season in Friday’s loss. The team is currently 38-24 and in second place in the Western Conference.

Blueface Clowns Chrisean Rock After Lil Baby Praises Her: “Potential To F*ck Him”

As per usual, Chrisean Rock and Blueface are airing out their issues on social media for the world to hear. Now that their Zeus reality series, Crazy In Love, has wrapped for the season, the on-again-off-again pair has been streaming on Instagram Live every so often. Earlier this weekend, they hopped online to entertain audiences while they ate, although it wasn’t long before another famous rapper caused the pair to begin beefing.

In a clip from the Live that’s been circulating online, the entertainers eat chicken wings while chatting. “I think you be letting too many rap n*ggas be in your face,” Blueface tells the Baddies cast member. “Who in that picture, on my Twitter, in your face?” he then asks her, to which responds “Lil Baby.” The topic is obviously a point of tension for the pair, as Rock assures him, “It wasn’t even like that.”

The father of two presses his partner to reveal what she and the Atlanta rapper talked about, specifically asking if Baby had anything to say about him. At this point, Chrisean begins laughing, refusing to divulge the information. As for what he said about her, apparently the 28-year-old thinks that she has “potential” in the industry.

In response to this, Blueface couldn’t help but crack a joke. “Potential to what? F*ck him?” Rock was clearly unhappy with his response. She then asks him, “Why do you say shit like that?” before the clip quickly ends.

Apart from his latest comments about the Quality Control artist, Blueface also found himself in the midst of a social media spat with Chris Brown earlier this weekend. At the time, the R&B star was being heavily criticized for continuing to collaborate with female artists after facing past abusive allegations. Specifically, many users love to draw attention to his past with Rihanna whenever a new joint effort is announced.

Upon hearing about Chlöe’s upcoming single with Breezy, many didn’t hold back on expressing their disdain. For his part, Blueface told the Virginia native that he “beat up the wrong bitch” after he brought up Chrisean Rock. Furthermore, Charlamagne Tha God recently called Kodak the “GOAT,” comparing him to Kendrick Lamar in the same light. “I look at Kodak Black the same way I look at Kendrick Lamar,” the host and commentator remarked. “I’m not even joking. I feel like they’re both two different levels of prolific. They’re telling similar stories, just from different places. They’re just two different versions of the same kid from the hood.”

Meanwhile, Yak actually responded to Charlamagne’s comments, and the Kendrick connection isn’t flimsy given the Florida rapper’s contributions to his album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. “APPRECIATE EVERYBODY,” he posted on Instagram after Charlamagne’s take went viral. “MEANS SOOOO MUCH TO ME.” Even though some people might not see the comparison, it still reflects the impactful, albeit controversial, career of the “Super Gremlin’ MC. Chrisean Rock Claims To Have Had Fertility Issues Due To Past Abortions With Blueface

Recent antics between Blueface and Chrisean Rock have some fans begging for the problematic pair to call it quits for good. As the 26-year-old was celebrating his birthday this past weekend it certainly seemed that way. However, his on-again-off-again lover came to social media with news of a pregnancy and her plans to keep it.

In the past, the reality stars conceived multiple babies. Ultimately, though, the Baltimore native opted to have three abortions. At the time, she didn’t feel financially or mentally ready for one of life’s biggest responsibilities. Now that she’s “got [her] own money” and is something of a household name in the industry, Rock is ready to try her hand at motherhood – with or without her man.

Initially, Blueface promptly denied paternity on social media. “Me [and] Rock are officially done. It’s strictly business, I tried it [and] clearly it wasn’t giving. Before she announces… She’s pregnant with somebody else’s child, not mine,” he wrote at the time. Afterward, the “Thotiana” artist alleged that the 22-year-old “has had encounters with 10 different men in the last year.”

The notoriously toxic pair publicly went back and forth for some time. Afterward, a video of Chrisean presenting the birthday boy with a custom cake (which he didn’t hesitate to aggressively stab) later surfaced online.

Friday (January 20) night’s party is when things got really out of hand. In the early hours of the next morning, Rock randomly pulled up at the function following her and Blueface’s online beef. She wound up being knocked to the ground while fighting two other women. Ultimately, she left in a separate car from her Zeus network co-star.

Presently, the nature of the entertainer’s relationship is more confusing than ever. On Monday (January 23), the Baddies cast member hopped on Instagram Live. She and a female friend chatted as she got a few things off her chest.

“It was a point when I wasn’t getting pregnant ‘cuz of how many kids I was killing,” Rock said, explicitly referring to her past abortions. “I kept getting pregnant and I kept aborting or I would take a Plan B. It was more that I didn’t do nothing, and I’m like, ‘Watch me get pregnant.’”

Apparently, the fact that she didn’t end up with child again was concerning to the young woman. “I went to the doctor and she’s like ‘You’re not fertile, so you gotta calm down with the abortions or you will not be able to have a baby.”

“I remember just praying one day, ‘Hey God, just know this time if you send me a blessing from heaven I’m gonna keep it,” Rock revealed. “And then, through the darkest time of my relationship or career, I got pregnant, and I’m not scared! I have my own money, my own name. I’m good, for real.”

Despite Chrisean’s comments about abortion and fertility, it’s worth noting that the NHS reports that, “having an abortion will not usually affect your chances of becoming pregnant and having normal pregnancies in the future. It may slightly increase the risk of the baby being born early in future pregnancies.”

Outside of her surprise pregnancy, the internet has also had a lot to say about the latest episode of Crazy In Love. If you didn’t tune in, the camera followed her as she sat down with Dr. Ish. The two discussed her traumatic childhood and subsequent toxic relationship with Blueface.
