Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, is apparently “thinking in terms of” supporting a 15-week federal abortion ban. Yes, he said that in an interview that aired Tuesday. Just wondering how we came up with 15 weeks and why. 

“The number of weeks now, people are agreeing on 15, and I’m thinking in terms of that, and it’ll come out to something that’s very reasonable. But people are really, even hard-liners are agreeing, seems to be, 15 weeks seems to be a number that people are agreeing at. But I’ll make that announcement at the appropriate time,” Trump said in a radio interview with Sid & Friends in the Morning. Trump then reiterated his support for exceptions in cases of rape, incest, and when the life of the mother is in danger. 

The former POTUS told Fox News he remains undecided about whether he would back a federal abortion ban but did say, “More and more I’m hearing about 15 weeks.” Over the weekend, he said he would make a decision “pretty soon” on whether he will back a federal abortion ban.

President Joe Biden is attacking Trump over his stance on abortion. Just last month, after The New York Times reported that Trump privately expressed support for a 16-week federal ban. Biden went after Trump by saying the twice impeached former President would “rip away your rights” while falsely casting himself as “running to protect them.”

A Trump campaign spokeswoman told CNN Trump is yet to commit to a national abortion ban. They said Trump would “sit down with both sides and negotiate a deal that everyone will be happy with,” from spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt in a statement responding to the Times report.

Trump has not been clear on this issue, and the national debate has hurt Republicans at the ballot box since the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. Trump has criticized his party over their abortion messaging.

Still, Trump frequently flaunts his role in the elimination of abortion protections on the federal level, which came after he appointed three conservative Supreme Court justices who each voted with the conservative majority that lead to overturning Roe. He calls this a key achievement of his administration. This is what President Biden is up against. Someone who is considering a federal abortion ban. Let that sink in.

Following this leak, Edwards told reporters that he was sorry for what took place and that it was not in his character. It was a heartfelt apology although the damage was already done, in a sense. Anthony Edwards has posted a statement in response to pressuring Instagram model Paige Jordae into getting an abortion after she told him of her pregnancy. Among the insensitive messages Edwards sent Jordae include the directions, “Get an abortion lol,” and “Just take the pills,” among others. Edwards responded to the backlash resulting from Jordae posting screenshots of the texts on social media, on Monday.

“I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man,” Edwards wrote in a statement. “All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them. I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time.”

When Jordae began sharing the messages on social media, she also posted a photo of a wire transfer of $100,000 followed by the texts “I will send you money to help you out” and “you got da money whats the hol up.” Despite the apology, fans on social media had no interest in forgiving Edwards. “‘Get a abortion lol’ is NOT a heat of the moment comment,” one user responded to the Minnesota Timberwolves star. However, every once in a while, she gets fans buzzing with cryptic messages, strange confessions or statements, or hints at some scandalous topic. Now, the rapper is raising eyebrows with her latest post on the social media platform for pretty bizarre reasons, in the sense that it’s tough to explicitly confirm that this is what she’s really talking about. “Stop asking am I next y’all kno what I do,” the “Tomorrow 2” MC wrote. “I damn near gotta membership at dat place.”

Moreover, people think that she’s actually referring to an abortion clinic, which does line up contextually. Folks often ask who’s “next” in line to have a baby, clinics do accept memberships, and none of that is taking into account the pro-life or pro-choice debate, which is a massive can of worms. Just a few hours ago, the “Thotiana” rapper shadily retweeted a video of the Baddies cast member dissing his other baby mama, Jaidyn Alexis. In the clip, Rock rants about how she would opt to have an abortion if the man she was with didn’t want to have a child. Now that Blueface is feeling unsure about adding another little one to his brood, he seems to be wishing the Maryland native could go back in time and terminate.

Following that, he continued to share more messages on Twitter, indirectly bashing Rock in the midst of their messy feud. “Don’t have no baby with no man that don’t want the [damn] baby,” the Californian ranted in one post on Monday (May 8) evening. “Idk [why] she keep saying the baby was planned before she announced. Later, the reality TV star seemingly responded with “F**k ya 100k I got my own tf,” adding a laughing emoji of her own.

Of course, this is just the latest development in an ongoing saga concerning Chrisean Rock’s pregnancy, which Blueface and many others are calling cap on. In fact, people suggesting what she should do with her alleged child really took off both within and outside of their inner circle. Blueface Reacts After Chrisean Rock Considers An Abortion: “Do It Please”
