Beyoncé’s New Madame Tussauds Wax Figure Earns Mixed Reviews On Twitter

Once you achieve celebrity status, one of the highest honours you can have bestowed upon you is a wax figure recreation at Madame Tussauds. Surely the marker of an icon, anyone who’s been recreated has been posed with by millions of fans and is likely well known all around the world. However, the museum hasn’t managed to nail every celebrity they attempt to turn into waxwork – especially not Beyoncé.

In 2004, the London location firstly unveiled its statue of Queen B. It’s since been dubbed the “drunk clubbing girl” version. The figure’s short dress leaves little to the imagination and facial inaccuracies are nothing less than embarrassing. Still, that didn’t stop Madame Tussaud from trying again.

Four years later, the Hollywood museum shared its take on the mother of three, and in 2009, the LA shop did the same. Unfortunately, both of them were major flops, seemingly white-washing Beyoncé and failing to nail important elements like her hair and facial structure.

Recent years have seen other botched wax figures, but in 2023, Madame Tussauds is the closest they’ve come to nailing the Houston starlet. On Friday (January 27), the Berlin location’s take on the vocalist surprisingly surfaced online.

The statue’s look is inspired by her 2018 “On The Run II Tour” alongside her husband, Jay-Z. A black and white Balmain look that she donned during the couple’s show in Manchester was chosen. As Yahoo notes, it was part of their Resort 2019 collection.

For the most part, Twitter seems to be divided on Tussaud’s latest attempt. “This kinda looks good but her eyes look off,” one user wrote earlier today. “She looks [white] in the face.”

Another person chimed in, “There’s so many terrible, offensive wax figures of Beyoncé that I actually think that this one is decent.”

Twitter has certainly been talking about the new wax figures, but that’s not the only conversation that Beyoncé has sparked as of late. Last weekend, she returned to the stage for the first time in years, taking over Dubai to put on the performance of a lifetime alongside her eldest daughter, Blue Ivy.

Common & Jennifer Hudson Reportedly Dating

Common and Jennifer Hudson are reportedly dating each other after rumors of a romance swirled since last year. Furthermore, RadarOnline on Thursday (January 26) that an insider close to the alleged couple confirmed their fling. While fans speculated on their status, rumors of a fling came after the rapper’s split from Tiffany Haddish.

Moreover, the Empire star knew the 50-year-old MC for quite some time before this report. However, RadarOnline‘s insider said that they got closer on the set of their upcoming thriller flick, Breathe.

“Things took a romantic turn while they were filming in Philadelphia over the summer,” they stated. “When the day’s shoot wrapped, they’d always find their way to each other’s side.

“They’ve kept up their communication since shooting the movie,” they went on. “They get together whenever their schedules allow. Of course, he’s known as a total flirt, but Jennifer feels there’s no harm in that, and she’s having fun.”

Furthermore, things spiced up for the two last year when fans spotted them at a romantic Philadelphia dinner. According to eyewitness reports, the Chicago rapper acted “cozy and flirty” with Hudson and there was “lots of cuddling and giggling.”

In fact, the 41-year-old actress opened up about that dinner on Entertainment Tonight back in September.

“People create their narratives of it, and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel,” she expressed. “We shot a film together, and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.”

Afterwards, onlookers spotted the two again when Common picked Hudson up from her talk show in Burbank, California. Still, the two faced some high-profile breakups recently that contextualize this fling. Jennifer split from pro wrestler David Otunga in 2017 and Common broke up with Tiffany Haddish in 2021.

“I was disappointed,” Haddish told Jason Lee of the breakup on FOX SOUL’s Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored. “I was very disappointed, I was like, ‘Oh, OK. ‘Cause that’s not what you told me, but OK.’”

However, Common stated that they were just too busy to nurture their bond.

“I don’t think the love really dispersed,” he explained. “I just think it was like we weren’t feeding the relationship. Neither one of us is gonna stop. We both care about our crafts and what we do.

“We care about love too and partnership, but I think the energy that has been put into our careers and continuing to want to do the things that we do for ourselves and for the people,” he continued. “It was hard for me to balance all of that and keep the relationship fed.”

Ice Spice Had Kendrick Lamar, Azealia Banks, And Nicki Minaj In Constant Rotation As A Teen

Since she first blew up last summer, the world can’t seem to get enough of Ice Spice. The 23-year-old first caught our attention with “Munch (Feelin’ U),” which eventually led her to earn a co-sign from Drake. The Canadian rapper later unfollowed her on Instagram, although she still maintains that they’re “cool.”

Following the release of her debut EP, Like..? earlier this month, the Bronx-born baddie has been more in demand than ever before. It seems as though a new interview has been dropping every day. In one of the more recent ones, Spice revealed some of her earliest musical influences.

During a conversation with ELLE, the “Princess Diana” spitter played a round of “Ask Me Anything.” One of the questions was about her own personal music taste. Surprisingly, she was quick to give Kendrick Lamar his flowers. “I was listening to To Pimp A Butterfly religiously on the way to school. It was like a phase,” she recalled.

Other standouts from the twerk queen’s playlist include Azealia Banks’ 2012 mixtape, Fantasea, as well as Nicki Minaj’s iconic effort, The Pinkprint. Obviously, the latter two are extremely different in lyrical content from the first. Not to mention a wild contrast from the “Instagram caption bars” Spice has been known to drop.

As HipHopDX notes, the redhead was just 15 when Kung-Fu Kenny delivered TPAB in 2015. It earned a subsequent debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Additionally, it sold 324K units during its first week out.

Spice, on the other hand, is on track to move 14.5K with her Like..? EP later this weekend. It’s likely that the six-track project will debut outside the chart’s top 20. However, it still made a splash across social media.

Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes’ “GMA3” Affair Leads To Exit From Network After “Witch Hunt” Mediation

Late last year, one of the most unexpected scandals to rock the internet was the revelation of Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ secret affair. The Good Morning America hosts previously worked together on-air for years. After the public found out about their private romantic relationship, though, they were quickly taken off television screens all across the nation.

Since then, the world has been curious to find out what the TV personality’s fate would be. Some said early on that they would both obviously be let go from ABC. After rumours came out accusing the Black anchor of sleeping with multiple other coworkers, gossip only began circulating faster.

According to TMZ, a marathon mediation session took place on Thursday (January 26), apparently ending with the GMA stars and the network severing ties. Both parties will likely receive payouts as per their contracts.

Sources tell the outlet that the meeting was “extremely contentious” and compared to “a witch hunt.” ABC reps are accusing both Holmes and Robach of various misconduct, including calling the latter out for having liquor in her dressing room.

Of course, this is usually a violation of policy. However, the accusation is being called “ridiculous.” Insiders state that ABC News executives themselves sent the alcohol to plenty of on-air talent. Additionally, the 49-year-old is facing accusations of coming to work drunk after attending the College Football National Championship game.

A source calls these allegations “insane,” noting that Robach was feeling sleepy the following day. Of course, the romance was also addressed, with ABC stating that they waited too long to disclose it to executives. According to the network, the couple’s “behaviour on set” made other staff “uncomfortable.”

It’s been said that mediation will continue until the fine points of the star’s exit are laid out. Interestingly, when they initially booted Holmes and his partner off the air, they made it clear that no rules were broken by the affair, seeing as they were essentially equal in their roles.

The last time fans saw the charismatic duo on ABC was December 2. It remains unclear what their career plans are moving forward, but the internet certainly has plenty of opinions about the messy situation.

Drake’s Home Burglarized In Los Angeles, Man Arrested After Stealing Unknown Item: Report

One of the undeniable perks that come with celebrity status is having the money to purchase luxurious homes. However, that same status and worldwide fame are exactly what makes public figures the unfortunate targets of many robberies and break-ins. The latest star to fall victim to the criminal antics is none other than Drake.

On Friday (January 27), TMZ broke the story. The night before, Champagne Papi’s Los Angeles residence was broken into. At the time, a man snuck into the rapper’s home, consequently alerting his security who promptly called the police.

Officers responded last night. They say that Drake’s team reportedly saw an unknown man leaving the property while carrying an unknown object. By the time authorities arrived, the suspect disappeared and a neighbourhood search began.

Sources tell the outlet that hours later, a man matching the suspect’s description walked down a nearby street. Cops took the anonymous perpetrator into custody. He was apparently still carrying the mysterious object previously taken from the mansion.

Thankfully, Drake wasn’t home at the time of the burglary, but he’s certainly no stranger to similar past experiences. As TMZ notes, a 23-year-old man was arrested at the same home as recently as July for misdemeanour trespassing. This surprise visitor was claiming that the father of one is also his dad.

News of the break-in is certainly upsetting for Drake. Thankfully, he’s got great friends in his corner to help turn that around, such as Jim Jones. Earlier this week, The Diplomats artist declared his Canadian friend the hip-hop group’s “fifth official member” following their legendary takeover at the Apollo Theatre.

Prince From “L&HH” Claims Tory Lanez “Threatened” Him Into Alleged Assault Settlement

Even from his new home behind bars, Tory Lanez is still in the middle of legal drama. The latest past enemy to speak out about the “Say It” hitmaker is Love & Hip-Hop star Prince. The two previously got into an alleged altercation with at a club last year.

On Thursday (January 26), RadarOnline shared a report claiming that the reality star has asked the court to throw out a settlement he signed last summer. According to Prince, one of the father of one’s associates joined them when they met in Miami. At the time, he was obviously carrying a gun with him.

As HipHopDX notes, Lanez’s lawyer, Kadisha Phelps, spoke to the court. He said that a deal between his client and the apparent victim was complete. “[I have] information to believe that a settlement has already been reached between the parties and [Lanez] has tendered funds to [Prince] in the consummation of their agreement,” he said at the time.

However, the Jamaican-American model said that last June, the 30-year-old called him to arrange a meeting. When they finally came face-to-face, though, the circumstances were nothing short of hostile. “[Lanez] presented me with a document that he drafted himself and ordered that I sign the agreement,” Prince recalled.

“He told me not to contact my lawyer when I told him I needed my lawyer to review the agreement. This individual is the same individual who was ordered by [Lanez] to attack me at the Vendome nightclub and he did so. I cannot share his identity at this time as this individual threatened me that if I mention his name I would be severely injured or even killed. This individual was in possession of a firearm which was visible at the meeting.”

Elsewhere in his recount, Prince claims that both his apparent attacker and the gun-toting man “aggressively ordered [him] to sign the agreement.” He did so, fearing for his own safety if he failed to agree to the terms.

“I would have never signed the agreement otherwise,” the L&HH cast member admits. “The amount of money that they made me accept was only a fraction of the damages I have suffered in this lawsuit as a result of their repeated attacks.”

In other Tory Lanez news, the rapper became a hot topic on the latest episode of Caresha Please. During her interview, Trina got real with host Yung Miami about her alleged romantic past with the Canadian. She denied that they dated but admitted that he did have a crush on her.

Pamela Anderson Claims She Saw Jack Nicholson’s Playboy Mansion Threesome

Hollywood seems like a huge place from the outside. In the land of celebrities, though, nearly everyone is connected in one way or another. Stories of odd star crossovers often come out in celebrity memoirs, as the elite freely spill the tea they’ve been holding onto for years. Such is the case with Pamela Anderson’s upcoming book, Love, Pamela.

According to an excerpt obtained by Variety on Thursday (January 16), the Baywatch alum may have helped Jack Nicholson reach climax during a threesome at the Playboy Mansion – without any physical touch.

“Mr. Nicholson had two beautiful women with him,” the 55-year-old recalls in her upcoming memoir. “They were all giggling and kissing up against the wall, sliding all over each other. I  walked by to use the mirror, bending over the sink to fix my lip gloss.”

Anderson says she was “trying not to look” at the antics unfolding, but “couldn’t help [herself].” As she watched on, the actress “caught [Nicholson’s] eye in the reflection.”

“I guess that got him to the finish line,” she writes. “Because he made a funny noise, smiled and said, ‘Thanks, dear.’”

The mother of two doesn’t specify when the sexual encounter took place. She did, however, refer to the evening as “complete freedom.” Speaking to Variety, Anderson openly described her time at the mansion. She said, “It was full of artists, philanthropists, intellectuals, chivalry, beautiful women. It was really an experience.”

As Page Six notes, the model was obviously something of a Playboy legend back in the day. Her career with the NSFW magazine went on for an impressive 22 years. She was on the cover more times than any other model – her first time being in October 1989.

Elsewhere in her upcoming memoir, the blonde bombshell recalls the time Tim Allen allegedly flashed her on the set of Home Improvement. Her co-star has since denied the allegations, but regardless, they set the tone for what other tea will be spilled in the soon-to-be-released book.

Lamar Odom Recalls Khloé Kardashian “Beating [A] Bitch Ass” After Catching Him Cheating

Throughout her life, Khloé Kardashian has endured some seriously tragic relationships. Not only was she done dirty by her Canadian baby daddy (on numerous occasions), but she was also cheated on by her ex-husband, Lamar Odom, countless times throughout their union.

By now, it’s no secret that the reality stars were toxic to each other. The athlete has been candid about his severe addiction issues, even recently describing drugs as his “girlfriend” in his marriage to the Good American founder.

According to Odom, Kardashian knew about his bad habits for at least part of their time together. “You can’t hide that forever,” he previously said in a teaser for his Sex, Drugs, & Kardashians documentary on Hulu. “Behind the scenes, I put her through some sh*t. The things that y’all think y’all know, it’s crazy. But the stories that y’all don’t know is really crazy.”

Since that project aired earlier this month, the 43-year-old has been making rounds discussing some of the hot topics brought to light. Among them are his past infidelities, which Lamar reveals once caused his wife to get physical with another woman.

When asked about the craziest night of his life, the New York native immediately had a story to tell. “Khloé, she came into this motherf*cking hotel room… I was at the hotel room with some other women, she came in and she started beating a bitch’s ass!”

At this point, Odom admits he doesn’t know how Kardashian found him but says she started “f*cking the [other] girl up” on sight. “I had to get her off the girl. I’m thinking about someone pressing charges, TMZ,” he recalled. Afterward, the other woman in the situation reportedly didn’t contact the police.

In the same interview, the former NBA star was asked how many times he was actually caught cheating. “Two,” he confirmed. “That’s not bad, she seems like a forgiving person,” the host said in response.

While Odom continues to reflect on his past marriage to the mother of two, her energy has been going towards a different ex – Tristan Thompson. The NBA star’s mother, Andrea, died suddenly in Toronto earlier this month. After the news broke, he and the socialite were seen flying to Canada to deal with the aftermath.

Chrisean Rock Buys Wedding Dress, Says She’s Getting Married

Chrisean Rock stopped by Anita’s Bridal Boutique in downtown Los Angeles to purchase a wedding dress and said she’s getting married tomorrow (Friday, January 27). Moreover, this raised a lot of eyebrows for fans, as her boo Blueface said he doesn’t want to get married. However, eyewitnesses said that Rock was still adamant about her big day.

Furthermore, onlookers spotted the social media star yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at Anita’s. Apparently, Rock told staffers that she needed the perfect gown for Friday. So, if the math adds up, she looked for a bridal dress just two days before the big day. According to TMZ sources, she walked around before spotting a dress on a mannequin that called out to her.

Moreover, sources claimed that she tried the dress on one time, asked for no further alterations, and completed a down payment. Of course, dresses at an establishment like this aren’t cheap. Anita’s prices specifically range from $3.5K to $7K, so it seems Rock is serious about tying the knot. However, is this something her MC boyfriend agrees with?

Although their relationship is hyper-visible and chaotic, they did recently open up to Jason Lee about their thoughts on marriage. While Blueface doesn’t believe in it, his flame said that he’ll marry her one day. It looks like that day has come. However, Rock didn’t specify who she was marrying, according to sources. Even though her and the California rapper seem chronically inseparable, they do like to play it up for the cameras. As such, we’ll see if there’s a betrothal announcement tomorrow or if she’s pulling another wacky move.

Also, Rock recently announced that she is pregnant, a claim that Blueface already relinquished responsibility for. Given the couple’s back-and-forth history, only time will tell.

On Wednesday (January 25), Ashanti’s vacation content markedly continued. This time it became more salacious as her oiled-up, toned figure posed in a blue printed bikini. “Bahama Mama,” she wrote in the description, referencing the location of her luxurious trip.

As if that didn’t already have her fans obviously drooling, on Thursday (January 26), the New York native kept the thirst traps coming in hot and heavy. “Heavy on the gratefulness,” was the message she shared with today’s uploads.

Throughout the collection of images, Ashanti soaks up the sun on a lounge chair outside. She also strikes various poses in her bikini, making sure the photographer catches all of her best angles.
