Beyonce Wax Figure Looks More Like Other Celebs, Social Media Says

Many have tried to imitate Beyonce over the years, but none have succeeded as flawlessly as they’d hoped – including Madame Tussauds. The world-famous wax museum has made numerous statues of the “Halo” hitmaker for their locations all across the globe, some more flattering than others. Their latest take on Queen B debuted today (February 8) in Blackpool. Now that photos of the creation are making rounds online, debate is ensuing about which other celebrities the waxwork looks more like.

On one hand, some think that this might be the closest Tussauds has come to bringing Beyonce to life. Others, however, think the brand has work to do in terms of the mother of three’s face card. Thankfully, her RENAISSANCE Era outfit was perfectly on point, and her hair looked as fabulous as ever. As you might’ve heard, Bey announced just a few days ago that her Cecred line is coming soon to help keep all of her fans’ manes looking full, fresh, and healthy.

Madame Tussauds Gives Beyonce Another Go

At the same time that Bey arrived at the Blackpool museum, they also welcomed a new figure of pop sensation Lady Gaga. She and the Houston native previously worked together on “Telephone,” and now they’re sharing space again on the floor of the UK venue. It seems that little has been said about the House of Gucci actresses’ waxwork online, as it’s relatively close to her actual appearance.

Social Media Reacts

“They can never get her face right,” one Twitter/X user wrote after seeing Madame Tussaud’s latest attempt at recreating Beyonce’s beauty. Elsewhere, others pointed out that the statue seems to more closely resemble R&B songstress Tinashe, or King of Queens starlet Leah Remini. The hair and body are pretty close to Beyonce’s, but there’s obviously still work to be done in other areas. Keep scrolling to read more reactions, and let us know if you think the wax figure resembles Queen B or not in the comments.

Takeoff Wax Figure’s Creation Detailed In New Video: Watch

Artist mr.officials.llc recently uploaded a video on how they crafted the first-ever Takeoff wax figure and the emotive context behind it. For those unaware, Takeoff is a former member of the Migos, one of the most influential and impactful Southern rap groups of all time, alongside his uncle Quavo and Offset. Tragically, he passed away in November of 2022 following a shootout which caught him in the crossfire. This tragedy, in addition to the Georgia native’s musical legacy, makes him a much-missed and much-beloved figure in the culture for generations to come. Through the clip’s narration, his wax figure’s creator spoke on what the process means to him.

“I haven’t posted in a while and here’s why,” they began their narration of the Takeoff video. “I’m grieving and I’m mourning and I didn’t even know it. Some of you may or may not notice that I’m closing my business after three years. I’m losing my car, it’s on its last wheel. I’m driving a 14-year-old car and I soon won’t have that. I’ll be homeless if all goes well. Now before you begin to feel sorry for me, I’m okay. My gift will make room for me because it always has, and even with all my losses I still believe that this is my year.

“I’ve heard God say over and over, ‘Finish what you started,’” they said of the Takeoff piece. “So I thought well maybe I could finish some sculptures. I could finish working on some projects that I started on, but it’s way too expensive and like I said, I need a new car. He kept saying to me, ‘This is not about you. Your gift is to inspire. Finish what you started.’ So, as I continue to finish working on projects, I begin to grieve and mourn the individuals that I was working on. Crying while creating, this young man I’ve been working on is deceased, and yet I still feel a sense to pray for him.

“Praying for his soul, praying for his family, friends and band members,” they concluded. “That’s when it hit me. This will be the year that I take off. God was using me in the life and legacy of the late rapper Takeoff to let me know that he has not forgotten about me. And what’s funny is this isn’t even my prayer. My prayer is not to have a new house or a new car or a new business. My prayer is for this to be your year of Takeoff. Your job will go to another level. Your marriage will go to another level. Even your finances and health will increase. I believe that this will be the year to Takeoff.”

Lil Wayne Was Not Impressed With His Wax Museum Figure

Lil Wayne remains one of the biggest artists in the entire world. In just a few weeks from now, he will be dropping Welcome 2 ColleGrove with 2 Chainz. Moreover, he has Tha Carter VI coming out soon, as well. At this point, Wayne fans are being well-fed, and they cannot wait to see what is on the horizon. Furthermore, he is bringing back Young Money Radio, which will help him get more music out there. Needless to say, the artist is back in a huge way.

With Wayne’s celebrity continuing to persevere, the Wax Museum felt like it would be a good idea to commemorate him with one of their infamous statues. However, their statue of him turned out to be one massive disaster. As we reported yesterday, the statue was dragged all throughout social media. Fans could not believe how bad it looked. As it turns out, Wayne felt the exact same way. In a tweet, Wayne displayed his true feelings about his supposed “likeness.”

Lil Wayne Speaks His Mind

“Sorry wax museum but dat shit ain’t me!” Wayne said. “You tried tho and I appreciate the effort.” Fans were quick to agree with Wayne, however, some couldn’t help but post a picture of the figure in the comments. A similar situation recently happened with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. That said, The Rock is now set to help out and fix the statue. Perhaps Wayne will be tasked with doing the exact same thing. Only time will tell whether or not he is interested.

Overall, it is common for wax figures to not look like their subjects. However, that doesn’t mean it’s never not a bit funny when it happens. Let us know what you think of all of this, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always make sure to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Teaming Up With Wax Museum To Fix Viral Statue Of Himself

Making wax figures out of celebrities has become a bit of a time-honored tradition. Hundreds of celebs have shown up to see shockingly lifelike wax statues of themselves unveiled at various museums around the world. Sometimes they’re so real that fans can barely tell the difference between the statue and the real thing. But other times they fall a bit short. That was the case with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who had a new wax figure unveiled at a Paris museum over the weekend. The only issue, fans don’t think it looks much like him at all.

Fans compared the figure to Mr. Clean and Vin Diesel and all seemed to agree that it didn’t look much like The Rock at all. Clearly, Johnson heard some of the criticisms and according to TMZ, he responded in a recent Instagram post. “For the record, I’m going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum, in Paris France so we can work at “updating” my wax figure here with some important details and improvements – starting with my skin color,” his answer reads. The skin color was definitely one of the biggest critiques fans had. The complexion of the statue actually looks far lighter than the man himself. Check out the statue below.

The Rock Vows To Help Fix Wax Figure

The Rock isn’t the only celebrity that’s dealt with this issue recently. Lil Wayne also had a new was figure revealed that fans didn’t take too kindly to. While the team put a ton of detail into the rapper’s dense collection of tattoos, the face is where most fans honed in. They noted that it doesn’t actually look much like Wayne.

In stark contrast, Jack Harlow got his own wax figure earlier this year. That rendition of the “First Class” rapper was called shockingly accurate by many. Consequently, side by side comparisons of the rapper and his statue went viral online as fans could hardly believe how accurate it was. What do you think of The Rock promising to help fix his wax figure? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Wayne’s Wax Figure Dragged Through The Mud On Social Media: Fans React

Wax figures are some of the funniest things to see blow up on social media; fans either can’t believe their accuracy or absolutely hate the attempt. Unfortunately for its creators, the new Lil Wayne wax figure is firmly in the latter camp, and fans are trashing it online. Moreover, at least the shirtless rendition has an impeccable amount of detail when it comes to his body tattoos, which has to count for something. However, it all kind of falls apart when you look at Tunechi’s face, although there was an easy way to cheat this that the team avoided. If you put a pari of sunglasses on it, as he typically wears them a lot, people might not even notice.

Furthermore, this is just the latest immortalization of Weezy F. Baby’s legacy and impact as an artist. It might not be the most artistically sound one in fans’ eyes, but no one can deny that he definitely deserves the treatment. In fact, it also came during a pretty fitting time, considering that Lil Wayne is dropping his 2 Chainz collab album Welcome 2 ColleGrove very soon. As such, maybe it’s the perfect time to capture people’s attention and interest who might not have heard of this otherwise.

Lil Wayne’s New Wax Figure

Regardless, what’s done is done, and it honestly might be better for the wax figure industry moving forward if they were always off the mark. After all, it causes a lot of interest in them and conversation that just doesn’t match the calm and complacent response to an accurate depiction. Maybe Lil Wayne had some input in this design, although we wouldn’t be surprised if he’s just as amused as many folks online. On that note, check out some more reactions to the New Orleans rap legend’s wax figure down below.

Fans React To The Wax Weezy

Meanwhile, we’re happy with any reason to celebrate Wayne, whether it’s his current career or the past. Recently, Birdman reflected on how he feels like he raised him, along with other Cash Money artist like B.G. These legends came a long way… so can we take just a couple more days on the fine wax detail next time? Jokes aside, stay up to date on HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Lil Wayne.
