Drake Fuels Beef Rumors With Travis Scott By “Shooting” At La Flame Head Prop During “MELTDOWN” Performance

The whole hip-hop world is awaiting a response from Drake after the fury of disses that Kendrick Lamar sent his way. It has been such a smashing success not only for the genre to bring that competitive nature back, but also for the charts. Metro Boomin and Future’s WE DON’T TRUST YOU will be at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 200. Additionally, “Like That,” the song with incredible K-Dot verse, is also poised to reach the top of the Hot 100. Drake has been sending some low-key responses toward the Cali MC as of late, but Travis Scott is also receiving some shots as well.

That is at least what some people are speculating online anyway, after a recent It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? Tour performance. Drake was playing his most recent collaboration with Travis Scott, “MELTDOWN,” from UTOPIA. According to some footage from the show gathered from TMZ Hip Hop, he sent some “gunfire” at a head prop of Travis. Apparently, he does it at every show when Drizzy’s lyric, “Like TV producers we, grr, we airing this s***,” comes up.

Drake Unloads On Travis Scott’s Head

There are some theories floating around that Drake now has beef with one of his biggest collaborators because of this. One of the main arguments for this is because Travis was begging Metro and Future to play “Like That” at Rolling Loud before the album dropped. Scott is not the only rapper “taking a side” in this feud between Dot and Drake. Rick Ross was also seen playing the track while riding in the back of his car. Also, LeBron James was vibing to the track before the Lakers last game at home. Drake wound up seeing that video and liked the post.

What are your thoughts on Drake “shooting” a Travis Scott prop at his recent tour performance and fans creating beef rumors? What kind of message do you think Drizzy is sending by doing this? How much longer will it take for him to respond to Kendrick Lamar? If and when he does, will it be a stronger verse? Sexyy Red Drops Nostalgic Video for "Get It Sexyy"

Returning down memory lane to the MySpace and Juicy Couture era, Sexyy Red has unveiled the video for her latest Billboard-charting single, “Get It Sexyy.” Produced by Tay Keith, the track has already amassed millions of streams and debuted impressively at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Directed by Des Gray, the video captures the essence of the early 2000s, reminiscent of BET’s “106 & Park” playlist. Sexyy Red channels the era’s vibes, sporting tall tees and putting her spin on classic internet dance challenges. Notably, internet sensation Soulja Boy makes a cameo, contributing to a catchy dance routine akin to “Crank Dat.”

The star-studded video features appearances from Drake, humorously portrayed as Sexyy Red’s roller-skating rink date, along with cameos from Adin Ross, Rob49, Wizz Havinn, Fabo, Tay Keith, and more. “Get It Sexyy” marks Sexyy Red’s highest-charting solo single, surpassing her previous hit “SkeeYee.”

Joe Budden Believes Drake Is Secretly ‘Getting Paid’ To Promote Sexyy Red And Doubts The Duo’s Friendship

Despite his ongoing spats, a public co-sign from Drake can catapult any rising musician to mainstream success.

The “You Broke My Heart” rapper’s latest muse, Sexyy Red, has undoubtedly seen a boom in her career. Their time on the road, recorded collaboration (“Rich Baby Daddy“), and flirty energy have made them a fun fixture for music fans. However, Joe Budden doesn’t believe any of it.

On March 28, the podcaster told his co-hosts that he believes Drake is secretly “getting paid to promote Sexyy Red.” Budden’s criticism didn’t stop there. He went on to say that he also doubts the fawned-over friendship presented by the entertainers online.

Although another member of the panel quickly agreed. Trevor “Queenzflip” Robinson pushed back. “Quick, real, quick, real quick, you said this ‘paid on somebody’s deal,’” he said. “Is this confirmed, or is this just some inside sh*t that you are saying?”

Budden quickly snapped: “Oh, you think [Drake] just likes being around Sexyy Red?”

The truth is yet to be determined. But given the extravagant gifts, including cash and lavish purses, Drake gave to Sexyy Red and his appearance in her recent “Get It Sexyy,” they seem to be fine in their friendship.

Drake Trolls Joe Budden, Nicki Minaj Invites Podcaster To Perform Throwback Hit

Drake still has yet to respond to the shade thrown at him by his “Poetic Justice” collaborator Kendrick Lamar with a diss track of his own. This is leaving some to wonder if he’ll ever have any bars to spit about what went down between them. Interestingly, the father of one is still very active on social media. Specifically, he wasn’t afraid to poke fun at another opp of his – Joe Budden. On Saturday (March 30), Drizzy’s Instagram Story lit up with a snapshot of the podcaster wearing some seriously baggy sweatpants.

To complete his fit, Budden added a black hoodie, a shiny puffer jacket in the same colour, crisp white sneakers and a hat that reads, “FREE.” The Canadian’s trolling comes after his most recent performance in New York City, where he got some frustrations off his chest during “Energy.” On the picture of JB, Drake wrote, “What’s the vibes NY?!?” suggesting he was on the hunt for a fun way to spend his Easter weekend.

While Drake continues to troll Budden, Nicki Minaj is surprisingly putting their differences aside to show him love. The Queen of Rap invited her fellow artist to perform during her concert in New Jersey recently, specifically requesting “Pump It Up.” When the 43-year-old shared the news on his internet show, co-hosts and fans were disappointed in Budden for turning down the incredible opportunity. “I ain’t hype no more,” he simply said.

“That was a real song?” one IG user asked in @theshaderoom’s comments. “I thought it was just for ‘You Got Served’ 😭😭,” they laughed. “I’m not gonna lie… If you’re a kid you won’t understand how fire this would have been!! Drake’s “Energy” During & After New York Performance Suggests His Opps Have His Attention

Drake is an MC who leaves both his contemporaries and music lovers divided, meaning he’s been involved in his share of feuds and controversies over the years. Rather than getting physical with those trying his patience, the Toronto native has put out some impressive diss tracks over the years, such as “Back to Back” targeting Meek Mill and “No Shopping” with French Montana, which famously took shots at Joe Budden.

Surprisingly, Drizzy has yet to respond to Kendrick Lamar’s shade on “Like That” in an official capacity, instead seemingly addressing the drama in more subtle ways. On Friday (March 29), the father of one was on tour in New York City, where he let some of his feelings out during fan favourite, “Energy.” As the crowd at UBS Arena in Belmont Park hyped him up, Drake yelled, “I got enemies, got a lot of enemies” repeatedly before adding “F**k these ni**as.”

In the hours after wrapping up that concert, the 6ix God shared a new photo dump on social media detailing the final few days of his March. He and Lil Wayne were both all smiles as cameras caught them in the middle of their show, and Drake couldn’t resist showing off his “HotMom.com” drip. Later on in the post, the “Miss Me” hitmaker proudly showed off his son, Adonis’ basketball skills, plus a cute clip of the young one dancing from the DJ booth at a show.

Drake’s Cryptic New Instagram Post Has Fans Wondering If It’s A Dig At Future And Metro Boomin

In typical Drake fashion, the Toronto rapper made a cryptic new post on Instagram — leaving fans to wonder if he’s throwing a dig at Future and Metro Boomin. The two rappers recently did on a collab track with “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

On it, Lamar took aim at Drake, alluding to his recent For All The Dogs album.

Drake’s latest post is a slideshow that includes several unique images, from an eerie owl with the phrase “We never sleep” and a cartoon of two young boys captioned with “A Story That Has No End.” While we’re not exactly sure what this means, he surely picked it for a reason.

“I could never sell ya’ll out to sell my latest work,” Drake wrote. “Never do you bad out the blue but I’m down to make it worse.”

There has since also been rumors that Lamar will be dropping a solo diss track that fully goes after Drake. According to HipHopDX, Adin Ross recently revealed that the song reportedly exists.

“Past couple nights I’ve been going out… and I bumped into somebody who’s very close on this Kendrick/Drake situation,” Ross shared. “There’s a bird on the street that Kendrick already has a full-on diss track ready to drop for Drake.”

Until then, check out Drake’s Instagram post above.

Drake Subtly Throws Shade At Kendrick Lamar Amid “Like That” Diss: “I’m Down To Make It Worse”

Drake is considered the king of Instagram captions, and he is certainly living up to that name again with this latest shot at Kendrick Lamar. Everyone and their mother who follows hip-hop knows about the recent verse on “Like That.” It has easily been the top performance of the year on many fronts, and it has rekindled the competitive flame in the genre. Fans have been on the edge of the seats since last Friday about how J. Cole and The Boy will respond. So far, Drake has been using those “Twitter fingers” of his to send subliminals toward Kendrick Lamar.

Just yesterday, the “First Person Shooter” rapper posted a collage of photos with the caption, “They rather go to war with me than admit they are their own worst enemy 😂” That came just a few days after Drake put on an empowering speech at one of his recent shows. “I got my head held high, my back straight, I’m ten f****ng toes down… and I know no matter what there’s not another n**** that could ever f*** with me on this Earth.”

Now, Drake is back at it again with another vague message that people are going to deduce is for K-Dot. “I could never sell ya’ll out to sell my latest work. Never do you bad out the blue but I’m down to make it worse 🥳.” This caption accompanies a bunch of random photos. One that sticks out is an owl with the phrase,” We never sleep.” This could be a way for Drizzy to clear up the recent confusion as to why his verse was not cleared for Bfb Da Packman’s “Olympic S*** Talkin.” The Michigan rapper claimed they could not get it out because of the diss from Lamar. That could further confirm fans suspicions that a response was not going to happen yet.

What are your thoughts on Drake Instagram caption that seemingly feeds into the Kendrick Lamar beef? Do you agree that it has something to do with it, why or why not? Could this be a subtle way of clearing up the confusion around the Bfb Da Packman verse? How do you think Drizzy will go about fully responding to Lamar? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Why Wasn’t Drake On Bfb Da Packman’s New Album?

Rap fans are looking for someone to blame after a much-hyped Drake feature touted to appear on Bfb Da Packman’s new album Forget Me Not failed to materialize. While the Flint rapper tried to explain his absense, some aren’t buying it, especially after Packman’s story changed a few times.

“I couldn’t get it cleared,” he wrote of the missing feature on Twitter. “Kendrick came out with the diss and he put everything on hold.” A likely story, right?

However, just hours before, Packman tried to ameliorate fans’ concerns, calling reports that Drake wasn’t on the album “Fake news,” and explaining that the version fans on the other side of the date line weren’t hearing Drake was because it was an “old version” and that the updated one had been sent to TuneCore.

The issue is, of course, that Bfb Da Packman has a longstanding reputation for being a bit of a trickster (it doesn’t help that he’s from Michigan, the de facto epicenter of so-called “scam rap,” which mostly revolves around its proprietors’ adventures in committing widescale fraud rather than selling drugs like a lot of street rappers). He’s even joked about being a “capper” in his raps:

While it’s completely feasible that Drake put his team on code red after Kendrick Lamar yelled, “Motherf*ck the Big Three” on Future and Metro Boomin’s album, it’s equally likely to plenty of fans that Packman just took advantage of the kerfuffle to drive streams for his album, relying on his scammy reputation to protect him from blowback. If that was the case, he severely underestimated just how much fans were unskeptically looking forward to the collab, the Flint-ness of it all aside. While he still has his defenders, the hunger for new Drake music does raise the question… If he isn’t number one, why do people care about what he does — or doesn’t do — so damn much?

Drake Supposedly Didn’t Clear Verse On Bfb Da Packman’s Album Because Of Kendrick Lamar Diss

Over the past few days, fans were on the edge of their seats because Drake was going to possibly be responding to Kendrick Lamar on Bfb Da Packman’s new album. However, everyone was hooked and baited, as The Boy was nowhere to be found on “Olympic S*** Talkin.” It was reported late last night that he was not going to be on the record, but there was no explanation as to why. Fans were conjuring up their own propositions online, but now we supposedly have the reason from Bfb himself.

According to AllHipHop, the Michigan rapper hopped on X to clarify why Drake is MIA. “I couldn’t get it cleared. Kendrick came out with the diss and he put everything on hold. FORGET ME NOT OUT NOW 🚀🚀” Of course, that viral lyrical attack was on Metro Boomin and Future’s collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU on the song “Like That.” Fans were already anticipating for Drake to clap back on “Olympic S*** Talkin” when Packman revealed the tracklist earlier this week.

However, there were also some fans that were hoping that the OVO co-founder would not respond to one of the “big three” “on this nobody.” Well, the latter got their wish, but Bfb fans are a little saddened by all of this. “Why’d you lie bro? I was excited about it,” is a common sentiment amongst most of the people that were eager for this collab. The other angle fans are taking is that they feel Drake was not going to diss Lamar back. “We knew that bruh. Like I said earlier, nobody wanna hear new Drake unless it’s a direct reply to Kendrick,” one fan writes. “We KNOW he wasn’t gonna reply on your album… This is chess.”

What are your thoughts on Drake’s verse being taken off Bfb Da Packman’s due to Kendrick Lamar’s diss? Do you buy this explanation from the Michigan MC, why or why not? What fans are you agreeing with? Are you still going to listen to Packman’s new album? Do you think Drake’s next song or feature will be a diss at K-Dot?
