Bfb Da Packman’s Unique Style Is Apparent Throughout “Forget Me Not”

The hype around Bfb Da Packman and his new album Forget Me Not was heavily influenced by Drake. The Canadian superstar was going to make an appearance on track three, “Olympic S*** Talkin.” However, the day the project hit streaming, Bfb and Drizzy fans were severely disappointed. Outside of the up-and-coming Michigan MC getting a huge co-sign, people were expecting this to be moment in which The Boy responded to Kendrick Lamar.

When hip-hop fans first found out about this news, everyone was left in the dark. But Bfb Da Packman revealed that because of the “Like That” verse, it put his Drake feature on hold. This clearly signified that we were not going to get a diss response, but it still would have been cool to see these two work together. Drake has been giving Bfb Da Packman flowers for about a year and a half. Hopefully, we get that collab one day.

Listen To Forget Me Not By Bfb Da Packman

So, without an icon not making Forget Me Not, is this project still worth a listen? The short answer is hell yes! Bfb Da Packman is bringing some creative flare with the hilarious bars. The beats are also a standout, with Caasi handling most of the production. He brings menacing, head-nodding instrumentals across the tight 40-minute, 15-track album. One of the many gut-busting moments includes this bar from Bfb on “Rice.” “P***y so wet, gotta sit that s*** in rice.” There are tons of gems like that, and this project will keep you on your toes for the next “WTF” moment.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new album, Forget Me Not, by Bfb Da Packman? Is this the rapper’s best project of his career, why or why not? What songs are you gravitating toward and why? Why Wasn’t Drake On Bfb Da Packman’s New Album?

Rap fans are looking for someone to blame after a much-hyped Drake feature touted to appear on Bfb Da Packman’s new album Forget Me Not failed to materialize. While the Flint rapper tried to explain his absense, some aren’t buying it, especially after Packman’s story changed a few times.

“I couldn’t get it cleared,” he wrote of the missing feature on Twitter. “Kendrick came out with the diss and he put everything on hold.” A likely story, right?

However, just hours before, Packman tried to ameliorate fans’ concerns, calling reports that Drake wasn’t on the album “Fake news,” and explaining that the version fans on the other side of the date line weren’t hearing Drake was because it was an “old version” and that the updated one had been sent to TuneCore.

The issue is, of course, that Bfb Da Packman has a longstanding reputation for being a bit of a trickster (it doesn’t help that he’s from Michigan, the de facto epicenter of so-called “scam rap,” which mostly revolves around its proprietors’ adventures in committing widescale fraud rather than selling drugs like a lot of street rappers). He’s even joked about being a “capper” in his raps:

While it’s completely feasible that Drake put his team on code red after Kendrick Lamar yelled, “Motherf*ck the Big Three” on Future and Metro Boomin’s album, it’s equally likely to plenty of fans that Packman just took advantage of the kerfuffle to drive streams for his album, relying on his scammy reputation to protect him from blowback. If that was the case, he severely underestimated just how much fans were unskeptically looking forward to the collab, the Flint-ness of it all aside. While he still has his defenders, the hunger for new Drake music does raise the question… If he isn’t number one, why do people care about what he does — or doesn’t do — so damn much?

Drake Supposedly Didn’t Clear Verse On Bfb Da Packman’s Album Because Of Kendrick Lamar Diss

Over the past few days, fans were on the edge of their seats because Drake was going to possibly be responding to Kendrick Lamar on Bfb Da Packman’s new album. However, everyone was hooked and baited, as The Boy was nowhere to be found on “Olympic S*** Talkin.” It was reported late last night that he was not going to be on the record, but there was no explanation as to why. Fans were conjuring up their own propositions online, but now we supposedly have the reason from Bfb himself.

According to AllHipHop, the Michigan rapper hopped on X to clarify why Drake is MIA. “I couldn’t get it cleared. Kendrick came out with the diss and he put everything on hold. FORGET ME NOT OUT NOW 🚀🚀” Of course, that viral lyrical attack was on Metro Boomin and Future’s collaborative album WE DON’T TRUST YOU on the song “Like That.” Fans were already anticipating for Drake to clap back on “Olympic S*** Talkin” when Packman revealed the tracklist earlier this week.

Bfb Da Packman Reveals Why Drake Is MIA

However, there were also some fans that were hoping that the OVO co-founder would not respond to one of the “big three” “on this nobody.” Well, the latter got their wish, but Bfb fans are a little saddened by all of this. “Why’d you lie bro? I was excited about it,” is a common sentiment amongst most of the people that were eager for this collab. The other angle fans are taking is that they feel Drake was not going to diss Lamar back. “We knew that bruh. Like I said earlier, nobody wanna hear new Drake unless it’s a direct reply to Kendrick,” one fan writes. “We KNOW he wasn’t gonna reply on your album… This is chess.”

What are your thoughts on Drake’s verse being taken off Bfb Da Packman’s due to Kendrick Lamar’s diss? Do you buy this explanation from the Michigan MC, why or why not? What fans are you agreeing with? Are you still going to listen to Packman’s new album? Do you think Drake’s next song or feature will be a diss at K-Dot? Is Drake Featured On Bfb Da Packman’s ‘Olympic Sh*t Talkin?’

While much of the world prepares for the arrival of Beyoncé’s long-awaited country album Cowboy Carter, stalwart fans of Flint rapper Bfb Da Packman have been hyping the impending release of his album, Forget Me Not. Rap fans were surprised and enthused when he shared the tracklist, which promised a Drake feature on the song “Olympic Sh*t Talkin” — especially with, well, circumstances. However, there appears to be a wrinkle: According to Complex on Twitter, Drake doesn’t appear on the song at all.

However, Packman responded to Complex’s post, calling it “Fake news” shortly after.

So, which is it? Is Drake featured on ‘Olympic Sh*t Talkin’” or not?

According to Packman, the discrepancy is due to timezones and a recent change to the album’s tracklist with his distribution service, TuneCore. It looks like Drake’s verse came through after the album was uploaded to the distribution service, so an update was made that hasn’t taken effect yet in timezones where the album is already out. The version of the song with Drake’s verse should appear when the album goes live on streamers at midnight ET / 9pm PT tonight.

Packman had one more thing to say on the matter, though. He’s convinced that “someone” (he doesn’t specify who) is trying to sabotage his release. However, it’s more likely that because updates were made at the last minute, they had yet to take effect, and fans commenting on the discrepancy naturally warranting reporting since the song was so heavily anticipated. In all likelihood, Packman may want to view this as a good thing, because it means people are definitely going to be checking for his album, even with a new Beyoncé album on the same day. Pretty impressive for an independent artist.

Of all the co-signs a rising artist could receive, the most coveted is still Drake’s — just look at the response to his remix of 4Batz’s breakout song “Act II: Date @ 8.” Even Kendrick Lamar, who is apparently dead set on going at Drake’s neck lately, owes at least some of his popularity to appearing on the Canadian rapper’s second album.

However that particular situation turns out, Drake hasn’t stopped sharing his platform with up-and-coming artists. The latest to receive his coveted co-sign is Flint, Michigan’s Bfb Da Packman. Drake appears on the tracklist of Packman’s upcoming album Forget Me Not, which he shared via social media on Monday (March 25).

In addition to Drake, Forget Me Not will feature guest appearances from many of Bfb Da Packman’s fellow Michigan natives, includine DDG, Icewear Vezzo, Rio Da Yung OG, Skilla Baby, and Yhung T.O.. West Coast rap impressionist 03 Greedo also makes an appearance, further strengthening the longstanding bond between the Motor City and the Golden State.

Drake’s impending appearance on Packman’s album is already generating plenty of buzz online, as fans of the underground rapper anticipate a glowup of similar proportions to all those who have tapped the reigning star of hip-hop on past projects like Lil Baby, Migos, and more.

Drake’s Appearance On Bfb Da Packman’s Upcoming Album Sparks Idea That He Might Clap Back At Kendrick Lamar

Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been the trending topic for the past couple of days after the viral “Like That” verse. After years of subliminal shots toward each other, the California MC essentially said “enough is enough, I’m coming for his neck.” His aggressive performance also sent some strays at J. Cole with the “Motherf*** the big three, n****, it’s just big me,” line and it was certainly a surprising moment. The spirit of competition in hip-hop might be making a welcome return to the genre all because of one verse. Now, fans are wondering if Drake will respond to Kendrick Lamar when his feature on a Bfb Da Packman album drops Friday.

The Flint, Michigan USPS employee turned MC has been developing a relationship with Drizzy for about a year and a half. Back in December 2022, Drake sent the up-and-coming talent a pair of his NOCTA Air Forces. Since then they have gotten closer and now he scores the biggest feature of his career. With Forget Me Not dropping March 29, one week after WE DON’T TRUST YOU, people are speculating that Drake may clap back at Kung Fu Kenny.

Some Think Drake Should Not Diss Kendrick Yet

People on X are especially sharing their thoughts on the matter with one person saying, “better be the response.” However, some also feel that the For All The Dogs creator should not waste the diss on a Bfb Da Packman song. “This who Drake gotta Collab with now bc everyone cut him off,” someone says. Another shares that feeling, “He better not waste the kendrick diss on this nobody.” If you want to potentially here what Drizzy has to say, he will be on “Olympic S*** Talkin.”

What are your thoughts on Drake making an appearance on Bfb Da Packman’s upcoming album and the theories about him responding to Kendrick Lamar? Are you taking a side in this beef, why or why not? If yes, who are you backing and why? How do you see “Olympic S*** Talkin” playing out this Friday? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Bfb Da Packman Links With His “Hoe Friends” On Latest Release

It’s been relatively quiet from Bfb Da Packman since he shared his Fat N*ggas Need Love Too album last year. In November, “Trick” finally arrived on DSPs. Now, the rapper has returned with another new single, this one explicitly titled “Hoe Friends.”

As you may have guessed, his lyrics find the Michigan native comedically telling a story involving plenty of sexual antics. “I’m single now,” he surprisingly declares to listeners. “I got caught cheating with my bitche’s auntie.”

Prior to that Bfb shared bars about “[putting] Granny in a nursing home,” because she’s been “acting extra.”

The infectious production on “Hoe Friends” comes courtesy of BeatsbyTrav and Taz Taylor, as well as Yakree, a press release notes.

In the latter half of the brief song, he rhymes, “For real, rest in peace Mac Miller / She worked out all day just to come lay with a fat n*gga.” His jokes only continue with, “I could’ve made it far without you, I’m not Marvin Sapp, n*gga / My bitch is transgender ‘cuz she always got that sack with her.”

While promoting his work on Instagram, Da Packman assured his followers that his page is a “slut shaming free zone.”

On his debut album, the “Free Joe Exotic” artist collaborated with Lil Yachty, DDG, Sada Baby, Benny the Butcher, Coi Leray, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Now that he’s got more experience and confidence under his belt, there’s no telling what he’ll bring to the table in 2023.

Quotable Lyrics:

For real, rest in peace Mac Miller
She worked out all day just to come lay with a fat n*gga
I could’ve made it far without you, I’m not Marvin Sapp, n*gga
My bitch is transgender ‘cuz she always got that sack with her

Drake Gifts BFB Da Packman New NOCTA Air Forces

Drake is kicking off his holiday gift giving a few weeks early this year. The 36-year old star recently blessed BFB Da Packman with a pair of his NOCTA Air Force Ones. Drizzy attached a note alongside the new shoes, encouraging BFB to continue on his workout grind.

“I hope you enjoy the gift,” Drake wrote. “Best of luck on your weight loss. Keep it up kid.” The Her Loss rapper simply singed the note, “The Boy.” BFB shared his excitement over the gift with a lengthy Instagram caption. “ONE OF THE GREATEST @champagnepapi SENT ME HIS SHOES,” BFB wrote. “AND GAVE ME MOTIVATION TO KEEP WORKING OUT. MAN THANKS SO MUCH. I STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM FR AND TO GET LOVE FROM ONE OF THE GREATS IS MAJOR.”

Drake recently announced the December 5 release of the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Lows. He also gave fans a glimpse at the NOCTA’s Hot Step Air Terra “Champagne” and “Purple” kicks. That’s not all Drake has going on the days. Drizzy recently scored a win in a lawsuit because of his 2020 hit, “Way 2 Sexy” featuring Young Thug and Future. According to reports, the lawsuit was tossed as the plaintiff, Micheldeangelou Perfvwaybelayou, allegedly harassed prosecutors.

Micheldeangelou accused Drake of stealing his song “Reach For Skies” for “Way 2 Sexy.” However, courts sided with the Canadia, according to documents obtained by All Hip Hop. “While Plaintiff does allege ownership of a valid copyright, he does not allege facts to show Defendants’ access to Plaintiff’s song. Nor substantial similarity.“The court grants defendants’ motion to dismiss plaintiff’s complaint in its entirety.”

BFB Da Packman Powers Through A Wild ‘Weekend At Solomon’s’ ‘UPROXX Sessions’ Performance

The last we heard from Flint, Michigan native BFB Da Packman, the jokester rapper was preparing his debut release, Fat N****s Need Love Too. Today, he becomes the latest guest on UPROXX Sessions, bringing his unique, off-kilter lyrical sensibilities to a boisterous performance of “Weekend At Solomon’s,” a standout from the album. Rocking a Day-Glo Balenciaga long-sleeved shirt, BFB swaggers through chuckle-inducing bars like “I had a fat mama, dawg, I dare you n****s blame me.”

BFB is part of a wave of rappers emerging from Michigan by embracing a behind-the-pocket flow marked by smirking, tongue-in-cheek punchlines. He stands apart from them with his externally-facing outlook; while rappers like Babyface Ray, Icewear Vezzo, Rio Da Yung OG, and Sada Baby are more insular, preferring to work within their tight-knit but growing circle, Packman has stretched out beyond the Great Lake State, pulling rappers from all over into his orbit on Fat N****s Need Love Too. While the album does feature locals like DDG, Payroll Giovanni, and Sada Baby, it also employs appearances from Buffalo brick rap powerhouse Benny The Butcher, XXL Freshman Coi Leray, the stoner avatar Wiz Khalifa, and maniacal standup comic Zack Fox. Packman also recently featured on Guapdad 4000’s “Alpha” remix, popping up in whiteface to represent a pernicious Permit Patrick.
