In recent weeks, Offset has been strategically teasing the project in other ways. He’s amping up the momentum as he interacts more frequently with his followers. His recent viral appearance on Kai Cenat‘s stream showcased the rapper in high spirits, dancing and creating a vibrant atmosphere. It seemed like high-energy, good vibes all weekend. Offset himself acknowledged the moment and let his audience know how much fun he had. Sharing on social media, he wrote, “I had the most fun in a very long time this weekend.”

In line with his promotional efforts, Offset has previously unveiled a series of visually striking cover art images, many of them drawing inspiration from the iconic Michael Jackson. The album’s cover art, shared last week, portrays another captivating scene. The artwork features an inverted image of buildings consumed by flames, seemingly with Offset descending from the sky. In a sleek all-black ensemble and sporting a single white glove, the imagery pays homage to the legendary Michael Jackson, a recurring source of inspiration for Offset, as he has noted in numerous interviews. With these teasers, Offset has set the stage for a highly anticipated sonic experience with Set It Off. The upcoming album marks his second full-length solo endeavor, following the 2019 release of Father of 4. It’s set for release on October 13.

Drake’s “Slime You Out” Cover Art Results In Negative Review From Halle Berry

Drake’s music isn’t for everyone, but those who support the father of one go incredibly hard for him, even in times of trouble. He’s currently travelling across North America on his It’s All a Blur, while also putting the finishing touches on his For All The Dogs album. The surprise project was first announced several months ago, and while it seemed as though it would be arriving shortly after the news broke, Champagne Papi has been taking his time perfecting his work. So far we’ve heard just one single, “Slime You Out” featuring SZA. However, that’s already gotten a notably negative review from Catwoman actress Halle Berry.

The track hit streamers at noon on Friday (September 15), and many Twitter users have already admitted to being in their feelings over it. “Slime You Out” finds the former lovers singing to each other about their failures in romance, slipping in a few toxic bars just for good measure. Rather than posing together for the cover art, Drake went with a throwback photo of Berry full of slime at the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards, perfectly matching his single’s title.

Not long after the Scorpion rapper shared his latest release, Berry’s Instagram lit up with a message reading, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… Even if you’re a woman.” When a fan dropped by the comments to ask how the mother of one feels about Drake’s image selection, she made followers aware that she doesn’t approve. “Didn’t get my permission, that’s not cool. I thought better of him,” the starlet revealed. “Hence my post today,” she continued. “When people you admire disappoint you, you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

Now that the world has gotten a taste of what Drizzy is cooking up on For All The Dogs, they’re hungrier than ever to hear the finished project. However, the 36-year-old confirmed on Instagram this weekend that he’s dealing with some delays, and is anticipating on dropping his album in early October. Read what Drake had to say about the situation at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Doja Cat’s “Demons” Single Cover Art Is Chilling

It is finally here, the cover artwork is finally upon us! Doja Cat’s highly anticipated new album Scarlet seems to be getting closer by the day. Just a short time ago, the R&B megastar shared the title of her next lead single as well as the cover art. The song “Demons” is going to be out on all streaming platforms on Friday, September 1. We were first teased about the release date almost a week ago when Doja posted to her Instagram. Her silhouette revealed her wearing devil horns with the caption reading, “9.1.23 ⏳

Next, on Twitter, we got another teaser for “Demons” with her sharing some footage from the accompanying music video. It shows Doja in a bathtub from an aerial view with black water and a large, creepy, black hand pulling her head back. Doja’s eyes are rolled back revealing ghostly white eyeballs. If that was not enough to salivate over, her new ink also displays what her new themes for Scarlet will be. She recently got a really cool scythe tattoo that wraps around her entire ear. It is demon time indeed for Doja and her fans.

Now that we are just a few days away from more material from the “Say So” songwriter, the cover art is out. Well, it is here and it is blood-curdling, to say the least. At first glance, all you might see is what appears to be a living room of some sort. A comfy chair, mirror, a table with a lamp, that all is normal. But then you scan the photo and you will notice a woman hanging upside down in all black, creepily smiling at you. That woman is Doja Cat fully embracing her new controversial look. The final touch is “Demons” written into the carpet.

What are your thoughts on this single cover art for Doja Cat’s “Demons?” Are you excited for it? Do you think this track will be better than “Paint The Town Red?” We want to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Lil Uzi Vert Reveals “Barter 16” Cover Art

Lil Uzi Vert has been hard at work ever since releasing their latest project, The Pink Tape. In fact, it seems like their next album is going to be some sort of Young Thug tribute. The album name is going to be Barter 16, which is, of course, a play on Thug’s iconic mixtape, Barter 6. Overall, fans are very intrigued about this new body of work. Although we don’t know much else besides the title, it seems like the album could be released as soon as next Friday. This would be huge as Barter 16 could very well be the biggest album of the year.

Yesterday, a lot of people were thinking about Young Thug. This is because it was his birthday. The influential rapper turned 32 years old, and although he is locked up, we hope he got to see what people were saying about him. There was nothing but tributes for Thug on social media. In fact, even Gunna wished him a happy birthday, which led to plenty of amusing reactions. As for Lil Uzi Vert, well, they wished Thugger a happy birthday by posting the cover art for Barter 16.

Lil Uzi Vert Channels Young Thug

As you can see up above, the cover art for the album is a 100 percent accurate recreation of the Barter 6 cover art. Uzi is even naked on the cover, which is exactly how Thug shot his cover back in the day. It was definitely a bit of a risk, but fans appreciate the realism. Moreover, Uzi revealed that the album will be dropping soon. An official date was not revealed, but fans should anticipate some sort of announcement very soon. After all, we do have the cover art.

Hopefully, we get some more details on this project, very soon. Let us know your expectations for it, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always keep you informed on the biggest releases from the biggest artists.

Steven Victor Addresses Backlash Virgil Abloh Faced Over Pop Smoke Cover Art: “That Was Bullsh*t”

Steven Victor, who managed Pop Smoke before the rapper’s death, says that the backlash Virgil Abloh faced for the cover art of Pop’s posthumous albums was “bullshit.” He discussed the controversy during a recent appearance on the Rap Radar podcast with Brian “B.Dot” Miller.

“That was bullshit,” he said. “People sit back and think they know, but they don’t know shit. They’re like, ‘oh, this is not what Pop would like.’ I’m like, ‘fuck you talkin’ about?’”

Abloh originally debuted cover artwork for Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut studio album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, that was replaced after backlash from fans. It featured a picture of Pop Smoke that was the first result of a Google Images search, which fans called lazy. Eventually, artist Ryder Ripps provided a new artwork that depicted a simple chrome rose against a black background.

Victor continued: “When we did the video for ‘Shake the Room,’ like that whole concept and idea was Virgil’s idea, and when we were going through the process, like at first, Pop was like—’cause, y’know, he’d never had a video like that—he was like, ‘I don’t know,’ but he trusted Virgil’s vision, so it would’ve been the same thing.” Check out his full appearance on Rap Radar below.

Steven Victor On Pop Smoke’s Album Covers

At the time of the controversy, Abloh addressed the backlash during an interview with Complex. “I think it’s important that we as young Black kids and community support and reference each other rather than looking for it outside of our ecosystem,” he said. “To me, [the original album cover I made] was exactly that. There was a bond and synergy amongst both of us just being ourselves. It was completely organic.”

Young Thug’s “Business Is Business” Cover Art Revealed

While he remains behind bars for the YSL RICO case, Young Thug is returning to the musical realm. Moreover, he recently changed his Instagram profile pic, which caused a lot of speculation before even bigger news dropped. Via posts from Thug himself, Metro Boomin, and others in the rap game, the official cover art for Business Is Business has released online. Furthermore, it’s unclear as of yet whether this will be a new single or album, although fans are obviously rooting for the latter. No matter the case, the Atlanta trap pioneer is dropping something (hopefully) very special at midnight tonight (June 22).

Not only that, but this news also comes a week after Gunna dropped his latest album a Gift & a Curse with very little rollout. On it, he addressed the snitching allegations after he took a plea deal in the YSL RICO case and bashed those who turned on him. Considering that YSL promoted the album on social media, it seems as though their relationship is not as contentious as online discussion may have you believe. Still, that’s only speculation, and while it’s unlikely, perhaps this new Young Thug project will have some answers.

Young Thug’s Cover Art For His New Release

Also, this new… something from Thugger comes a little after he posted a countdown on his social media, which many in the game reposted. In fact, Gunna himself shared the countdown, adding to his continued support of Jeffrey through song, music videos, and public statements. While many online sources reported this as an album, it looks like we won’t know for sure until it comes out tonight. Regardless, the uncertainty only further fuels fan excitement a year after the 31-year-old and others were arrested.

Metro Boomin Shares “Business Is Business”

Meanwhile, it’s not like things have been radio silent from the “Bubbly” MC since his arrest. For example, Yeat recently shared his news collab with him, “My Wrist,” which saw Thug stun again with his expressive vocals and flows. Maybe this new release will be a switch-up, especially given the court-themed cover art. No matter what, this is a huge moment for hip-hop in 2023, and fans only have a few hours to get ready. Lil Uzi Vert Says They’re Destroying Their Phone After Dropping “The Pink Tape” Cover Art

Lil Uzi Vert says they’re going to destroy their phone after sharing the cover art of The Pink Tape. Uzi made the declaration during a video that’s circulating on social media. Uzi previously teased a potential option for the cover art on his IG Story, last week.

“I think after I drop the cover I’m gonna break my phone and I’m not gonna need a phone anymore. I’m just gonna let it work, I don’t want a phone anymore,” Uzi stated. “I’m done with having a phone. I don’t really need a phone. If people wanna contact me, via email or you can call my management.”

Uzi has been active on social media in recent weeks, revealing more and more details about The Pink Tape. On Instagram Live last week, Uzi teased how long the project will be. “Probably like 24 or 25 new, well 24 new joints because everyone has heard ‘Just Wanna Rock,’” they explained. “Then two at the very, very bottom, bottom, bottom, bottom that a lot of people love, but the world they didn’t really get to hear them.” Uzi added that the bonus songs “are special to me that some people love that it didn’t really get the reach that they would’ve liked.”

As for when fans will be able to listen to The Pink Tape in its entirety, Uzi has said that it will be dropping in the coming weeks. “The album is coming at the end of this month. I can’t hold off anymore,” they said during one Instagram Live session. “Even if I have to drop it myself, it’s coming out at the end of the month.” Many fans have speculated that Uzi could intend to release the project on June 23 because it’s National Pink Day in the U.S.

Doja Cat Reveals Release Date & Cover Art On Twitter

After many months of deliberation, album name changes, and seemingly endless teasing, it’s Doja Cat season once more. Sure, previous efforts like her remix of SZA’s “Kill Bill” already got fans quite ready for this moment. However, nothing had quite lived up to the solid confirmation that the fanbase just got via the artist’s Twitter account. On Tuesday (June 13), the Los Angeles native fired off a cover art: a triangle messily splattered in blood. That could point to many different things, so drop your interpretation in the comments below. In addition, she revealed a release date of June 16, meaning that this Friday, hype will become bigger than ever for her next album.

Of course, fans have many theories, hopes, and pipe-dreams when it comes to what this hinted project could be. The most prevalent and likely explanation is that this will be Doja Cat’s first single for her album. Furthermore, this is bolstered by the fact that the single’s pre-save link apparently leaked online, and fans caught onto it before it could be taken down. It seems like her and her team weren’t ready just yet to get the ball rolling. Hopefully this announcement was a planned piece of the puzzle, not a scrambled effort to capitalize on tech issues or leakers ruining the fun for everyone.

Also, a lot of fans pray that we’ll just get the whole album, though that seems much more improbable. Obviously the “I Don’t Do Drugs” multi-hyphenate will do as she pleases, especially considering her comments on her first two records being “cash-grabs.” Still, a single or two leading up to the larger album release, plus some merch or tour dates or media appearances sprinkled in there, seems like the most logical fit for someone of her status. But Doja seems to be quite done with all that, so it’s exciting to think that anything could happen.

If you’re not caught up on all the album rumors and changing titles and whatnot, perhaps it’s best to let yourself be surprised, like a good trip to the movies without watching the trailer. In the meantime, we’ll keep you updated on the single, album, or whatever she’s dropping this Friday. If anything, it’ll be nice to leave the rumor mill and usher in a new era. Jorja Smith Announces New Album “falling or flying” For September 2023 Release

Singer-songwriter Jorja Smith has shared new details surrounding her upcoming album, falling or flying. The singer’s second LP is set for release later this year via her own label, FAMM, and fans can preorder the album now. Listeners can expect to hear falling or flying on September 29, 2023. She also took to Instagram to share the album’s cover art with her followers. The album will be Smith’s first full-length record since 2018’s Lost & Found. It also follows her 2021 EP Be Right Back, and her 2016 EP Project 11.

Smith shared in a press statement “I don’t slow down enough.” “This album is like my brain. There’s always so much going on but each song is definitely a standstill moment,” she adds about the new LP. She also shared an Instagram post today, captioned, “falling or flying, my second album! Smith’s Second Album

The new album will feature two singles Smith also shared recently. Smith released “Try Me” in April, followed by “Little Things” earlier this month. “Try Me” was accompanied by a powerful music video directed by Amber Grace Johnson. It aligned with the song’s intense lyrics, showing Smith enacting a symbolic battle with a lover. “Little Things” took on a lighter tone, with the accompanying video featuring Smith asking people on the street what they look for in a partner. The “Little Things” video was directed by Bolade Banjo.

Smith shared that her newest single is about, “putting yourself out there, in front of a world that has many opinions.” Explaining it’s creation, she says she had “a lil’ concoction — rum, ting, and a magnum.” “It only ever used to be [her] really being [her] own critic,” she explained. Smith also went on to say, “This is the first time I’m putting stuff out there that I can connect with right now.” She recalled “imagining hearing this walking into a party and seeing someone I’d had my eye on.” The artist called the song “fun!” and “pretty self-explanatory.”

Metro Boomin Teases Potential Future Collab Album Cover

Metro Boomin is easily the biggest producer in the world right now. Overall, his Heroes & Villains album was one of the best-performing projects of 2022. Moreover, he always seems to secure features from the best artists. They know what he can do with his production, and he continues to blow people away. That was especially true over the last two weekends at Coachella. Metro’s sets were some of the highlights of the entire weekend, and he teased a bunch of new music.

For instance, Metro Boomin continues to make mention of a potential album between himself and none other than Future. Prior to Heroes & Villains, it had actually been quite some time since they had teamed up. However, it appears as though they are back on their grind. The name for this album is reportedly going to be Metro Pluto. Overall, this is the perfect name for the project, and we’re sure fans agree. Today on his Instagram story, Metro continued to tease the album, with some potential cover art.

Metro Boomin Knows How To Build Hype

In the album cover, you can see how both artists appear to be on fire. Future is on the mic, while Metro Boomin is on the keys. Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether or not this is the actual album cover. Although, the Parental Advisory label on the cover definitely tells us a story. Perhaps the album is actually on the way a lot sooner than many had originally believed. However, there is no exact indication as to when this album will drop. No matter what, it is crystal clear that fans want to see this, and fast. It has been a slow start to the year in terms of releases, and that promises to change, very soon.

Hopefully, Metro Boomin and Future provide more clarity on this upcoming project, soon. Overall, it would have to be one of the most hyped-up projects of the entire year. Moreover, we can only imagine what kind of features would be on here. Let us know your expectations for the project, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world.
