Bobby Shmurda Claims To Know The Origin Of Meek Mill’s Gay Rumors

Meek Mill has truly had a roller coaster career. He was a rising star in the 2010s. Then he lost the Drake battle. He served prison time. Then he was released, made up with Drake, and was back. Meek Mill’s success was cut short again, though. The internet decided to turn him into a meme. It’s seemingly impossible to come across a headline on the rapper without it being negative. Bobby Shmurda talked about this unfortunate shift during a recent stint on The Danza Project podcast.

Bobby Shmurda points out that Meek Mill has been plagued by rumors about his sexuality for years. The rapper alleges that these rumors came about because Meek decided to leave his “team,” and they went and turned on him. The reason Shmurda believes this? Because he worked with the same team of people and also left. “You leave that team, they come for you,” he alleged. He claimed that labels and PR teams wield their influence in a vengeful way if someone “wrongs” them. “We own the internet, we’re gonna spread all these rumors about you,” he stated. “I’m gonna put a thousand, three thousand comments. Make them jokes, I’m gonna pay for comments on every post.”

Bobby Shmurda Claims Meek’s Former Team Sabotaged Him

Bobby Shmurda claims that the so-called “team” tried to spread gay rumors about him as well, but they didn’t stick they way they have with Meek Mill. He also expressed disappointment with the people who believe these rumors just because they want to see a popular artist fail. Meek Mill has, admittedly, tried to deny these rumors. He hopped on Twitter in April in an attempt to clear the air. “I’m from Philly I don’t do coke or freaky a*s molly,” he wrote. “Nobody won’t even offer me coke because I’m that heavy. No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place don’t get flipped.”

Unfortunately, Meek Mill’s affiliation with Diddy has not helped him kill the rumors. The two men were seemingly very close in the years leading up to Diddy’s arrest. Infamously, they wore matching shirts to a party together. Bobby Shmurda doesn’t address the alleged Diddy connection in his claims about teams who slander their former artists, though. It is, admittedly, a trickier situation to navigate. Meek Mill has tried, as evidenced by a recent Twitter rant in which he offered investigators $100K to uncover the origin of his and Diddy’s alleged connection. But the internet, predictably, clowned him.

Bobby Shmurda Links With Norwegian Producer ORIO For “OVERSEAS” Banger

Bobby Shmurda is continuing his run of putting some of his fans onto some new artists with “OVERSEAS”. This is a collaboration with Norwegian/Moroccan producer ORIO. He has been in the industry for about four years up until this point. Overall, he has produced for a lot of lesser-known artists overseas. So, there is a good chance Bobby is the biggest name he was worked with so far. For the latter, this is following up on his previous R&B track with newcomer Eli called “On Something”. Overall, it was a major deviation from what we know the “Hot N****” rapper to be. It was a pretty unsatisfying team-up, but we can admire him for branching out. This time through, “OVERSEAS” pays off. It is a very nice improvement, as Bobby Shmurda is definitely more in his element.

ORIO gives the Brooklyn, New York native an intense and banging instrumental. The beat has a grand feel to it, especially with the string sections mixed in. It is pedal to the metal all the way through, as Bobby Shmurda raps with a lot of energy on “OVERSEAS”. The lyrics are not really the main focus here, as it is more about the catchy chorus and flows. So far, fans seem to be enjoying this one thoroughly so far and are hoping it gets more love. “Bruh someone needs 2 promote this song. I just randomly searched shmurda. This a Hit”. Since its release the single has picked up some solid numbers. On Spotify it is currently in the “Bobby B****” MC’s top five popular. Additionally, it has picked over 30,000 views on YouTube. You might want to check this one before it blows up, so run it up!

Bobby Shmurda Says Streaming Services Made Dropping New Music ‘Pointless’

Bobby Shmurda

Bobby Shmurda is telling fans not to expect music from him. Shmura hit X to reveal “it’s pointless” due to streaming services.

“Stop asking me to drop music,” Shmurda shared. “American DSPs don’t allow real Bodman on playlists because I don’t paint my fingers, so it’s pointless until something is done with the people who own, run and manage these platforms.”

You can read it all from Bobby below.

Bobby Shmurda Works With Newcomer Eli For R&B Cut “On Something”

There were so many people on the Bobby Shmurda hype train back in the mid 2010s. A great deal of hip-hop fans were infatuated with arguably his two best tracks “Hot N****” and “Bobby B****.” However, all of that excitement for the Miami, Florida native went out the window in a hurry after his infamous prison sentence. He was handcuffed for weapons and conspiracy charges for the longest seven years and his return was a bright spot for the genre in 2021. Since being reinstated into society, the 29-year-old rapper has released two full-length projects and a bevy of singles. However, he has not been able to recapture that magic for about 10 years now.

It is clear that Bobby Shmurda is still struggling with songs like “On Something” coming down the pipeline. This is his fifth feature of the year, as he joins a new face to the R&B space, who goes by Eli. In fact, this is the latter’s first-ever release on streaming platforms. It is evident as well because this is perhaps one of the most forgettable songs we have heard all year.

Listen To “On Something” By Bobby Shmurda & Eli

Eli has a painfully boring and generic auto-tuned singing voice that sounds outdated. It is especially unbearable when he goes into his upper register. As for Bobby, his flow is equally boring and sleepy. Unfortunately, there are just no redeeming qualities to this track.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “On Something” by Eli and Bobby Shmurda? Is this one of his stronger features as of late, why or why not? Do you think Eli has what it takes to make it in music? Would you want to hear them collaborate again in the future? Bobby Shmurda Goes Crazy At 50 Cent Concert

Bobby Shmurda and 50 Cent surprisingly have a close friendship than most people might realize. When Bobby was in prison for over six years for conspiracy to murder, weapons possession, and reckless endangerment, he credited 50 Cent as one that was actually looking to help bail him out. Hip Hop N’ More reported this back in 2017, during an interview with Bobby saying, “The only one who really contacted us was 50. Everyone else is just talk. They do it for the people. The only one that is real is 50.”

Furthermore, in an interview with us (HNHH) Shmurda revealed that he and 50 were in talks about landing him a role on one of his TV shows and it was all positive for Bobby. “Me and 50 were on a two-hour call like two weeks ago,” Bobby said. “Some talent agents I was talking to, they help 50 with Power and STARZ and all that other s**t. So you know he wants me to act, and they want me to act, so we just talking about a couple of shit right now.”

It was part of a two-day stop at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Fif has always been one of Bobby’s idols so it was a cool moment to see surface on the internet.

Bobby Shmurda Should Cool It With The Rap Criticisms, Charlamagne Tha God Says

Charlamagne Tha God has expressed his disagreement with Bobby Shmurda’s criticism of rap music. He says that Shmurda should not undermine the genre because he owes his fame and recognition to it. Charlamagne discussed the topic on The Breakfast Club‘s segment, “The Rumor Report,.” He went on to kindly acknowledge Shmurda’s energy and personality. However, he pointed out that the public hasn’t been receptive to his new music since his release from prison.

Charlamagne also emphasized that the culture may not be so keen on the new attitude. While he realizes that Bobby Shmurda has avoided being a snitch and is now creating positive music, the culture doesn’t seem to appreciate or acknowledge that about him. Furthermore, he believes that rap is the reason why people know Shmurda. He highlighted that, because of this, Shmurda’s criticisms of the genre may not resonate well with the audience.

The Origin Of Bobby Shmurda’s Opinion On Rap

The conversation about Bobby Shmurda’s disdain for rap music began when he appeared on The Danza Project podcast. There, he advised children to stay away from hip-hop because he sees it as dangerous. Shmurda expressed concern that kids might take the lifestyles portrayed in rap lyrics as reality. However, he says the rappers themselves may not have even experienced those circumstances. He believes rap music should uplift people and encourage positive change. Now, however, he believes it promotes negativity. As a result of this, Bobby Shmurda shared that he no longer enjoys rap music. Apparently, he only listens to it when he’s at the club.

Shmurda went on to say that he prefers reggae now. He is so disconnected from the rap scene that he wouldn’t even notice if another rapper dissed him in a song. This isn’t the first time Bobby Shmurda has discussed his decision to distance himself from rap music and make a change. In March, he took to Instagram to share his journey towards self-improvement after being involved in criminal activities. He made it clear that he is determined to pursue a productive and successful future. He says he wants to make the best use of his time.

Bobby Shmurda Has Had It With People Reporting His Instagram

Bobby Shmurda is someone who has a very strong presence on social media. Overall, he loves to engage in some antics. However, it’s not like he is getting into unnecessary feuds with other artists. Instead, he is simply having a lot of fun on his accounts. Although some people have tried to question him and his sexuality as a result of his posting, Bobby continues to do as he pleases. He appears to be living his best life, and he should. After all, he is experiencing his freedom again after being locked up.

Now, however, Bobby Shmurda seems to be dealing with some massive issues as it pertains to his social media. According to a recent Instagram story, he detailed how he has been having many of his posts deleted. People keep mass-reporting him, and he has simply had enough of it. Throughout his Instagram rant below, Bobby reveals just how much this situation is angering him. Furthermore, he questions how his posts could even be perceived as bad. Especially when some people are half-naked on their IG without any repercussions.

Bobby Shmurda Speaks

“These bitch ass muthafuckas need to stop this shit with this reporting me shit bro,” Bobby Shmurda said. “It’s 2023 bro. I been home since 2021 bro. Y’all n****s need to stop reporting me! Y’all muthafuckas reporting me talking about I got girls doing this and that. Muthafucka, every time I look at my timeline you bitches naked. Bitches butt naked! Bitch look like a 13-year-old [and] they butt naked on my muthafuckin timeline. Am I telling a lie? Am I telling a lie?” Whether or not this message is actually going to get across to his fans, remains to be seen.

Hopefully, for Bobby Shmurda, this entire situation gets resolved. When you spend so much of your time on Instagram or other forms of social media, it can be tough to have that taken away. Let us know what you think of this situation, in the comments section below. Should the fans be leaving Bobby alone? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the music world.

Bobby Shmurda Drops Anti-Snitch Freestyle, Wants Young Thug Freed

Snitching has been a hot topic in Hip Hop since its inception, but Young Thug’s case has shone a new light on the subject. Thugger and seven of his co-defendants are currently on trial, and it’s slated to be lengthy. Currently, officials are still combing through potential jurors, and it’s a process speculated to take months. Initially, over two dozen people were arrested in connection to the YSL RICO case. Gunna was the first to strike a plea deal, and soon, seven others followed.

Gunna has laid low as he’s faced critics who say he’s snitched on Thug. However, the “Pushin P” rapper denied the allegations, explaining that he took an Alford Plea in his best interest and has no plans on cooperating with the authorities. Hip Hop has weighed in, with some doing so silently. Several artists have unfollowed Gunna and denounced snitching. Others, like Bobby Shmurda, haven’t referenced Gunna at all, but the New York rapper did share a freestyle where he called out the industry’s rats.

Today (February 10), Shmudra dropped off a freestyle on Instagram, and while he didn’t mention Thugger in his bars, he did include him in the caption. It seems that Thug tried reaching out, but Shmurda wasn’t available. “I missed my n*gga @thuggerthugger1 call yesterday 😖,” Shmurda wrote. “So @4shootersonly f*ck it we dropping this today !!!! Straight from the Supreme Court screaming🗣 #freeslime 4eva 🤢🦁💚.” The performance was on the steps of the Supreme Court, and the rapper was making his voice heard.

Man, f*ck all y’all Rap n*ggas / Most of y’all some rat n*ggas / All y’all chit chat n*ggas, oh yeah,” Shmurda spits. This isn’t the first time he shared a track targeting snitches. In early January, he did the same, and even then, people quickly believed he was speaking about the Atlanta icon. However, it must be noted that Shmurda hasn’t named Gunna, but he has continued to advocate for Young Thug’s release.
