X4 Arrested, His Instagram Story Suggests

Up-and-coming Los Angels rapper X4 recently took to his Instagram Story– or perhaps someone from his team did– to suggest that he’s currently in prison. Moreover, on a black background, his account simply posted “FREE X4,” and no other details about this alleged arrest emerged as of writing this article. For those unaware, the West Coast MC is among many other lyricists bubbling in the underground right now, one who’s poised to become a big name. For example, he recently released his debut mixtape The Most Important, on which he displayed some creative flows, charisma, and potential to hone his craft.

Furthermore, this arrest is especially disheartening amid the holiday season, as this is a time for family that unfortunately can’t stop harsher realities. Sadly, X4 is not alone in this struggle, as many other rappers and artists either faced arrests from authorities or are in the middle of legal trouble. One other recent instance of this is that of HoneyKomb Brazy, whom officials arrested just a few days ago on Wednesday (December 20). This reportedly relates to various gun and drug charges, and we’re still waiting to see whether this will halt this career or whether it can be sidestepped with accountability.

Fortunately, we have other cases apart from X4 in rap’s legal space that took on more positive connotations, at least when only looking at an artist’s freedom and not the validity of their crimes. Quando Rondo was able to secure bond for $100K, and will reportedly now be on house arrest for the holidays. As such, we expect that he’ll be able to spend time with his loved ones at least a little bit and use this time to cool off and reflect. Hopefully the up-and-comer is able to achieve similar conditions, and then fully hold himself up to his accused behavior.

Meanwhile, other hip-hop figures seek to change the legal conditions that currently constrict them. There is perhaps no better contemporary example of this than NBA YoungBoy’s house arrest, which is still subject to modifications. Jermell Charlo Audio Appears To Include Boxer Bragging About Assaulting His Wife

Audio of Jermell Charlo leaked after the boxer was arrested this week appears to include Charlo openly bragging about assaulting his wife. “I hit that b-tch like this in the eye. Socked her in the eye. Big swole purple thing came open. That b-tch called the cops on me. Like a woman. Like a regular woman,” Charlo can be heard saying in the clip. While his alleged victim was not immediately named, his wife Chyane filed both a temporary restraining order and divorce papers against Charlo. This remains a developing story.

Charlo hasn’t fought since a unanimous decision loss to Canelo Alvarez earlier this year. Alvarez, who had told reporters he was “still in his prime” prior to the fight, spent most of the bout trying to goad Charlo into engaging. Charlo, who was fighting up two divisions, managed to avoid most of Alvarez’s power attacks but rarely went on the offensive himself. “I feel like it wasn’t me in there. I don’t make excuses. You win some, you lose some. I’m undisputed in my weight; I was daring to be great. I’m proud of myself. He didn’t knock me out; he knocked all the other guys out,” Charlo said after the fight. Furthermore, Charlo confirmed that he would be returning to 154 pounds for the foreseeable future.

UFC Star Arrested

However, Charlo is not the only person who has been recently arrested for allegedly assaulting a family member. At the start of December, former UFC champion Jamahal Hill was arrested on a domestic violence charge in Michigan. Hill was booked at a jail in Kent County on November 27 and released later that same day. However, prosecutors also charged the 32-year-old with a single count of misdemeanor aggravated domestic violence. Hill was accused of assaulting his brother James. However, details about the altercation are scarce.

Hill rose to the top of his UFC weight division in January, beating Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 for the vacant light heavyweight title. However, Hill’s tenure with the belt only lasted until July. After suffering an Achilles tendon rupture, Hill vacated the title. Alex Pereria took the vacant belt at UFC 295 last month. Prior to his arrest, Hill was expected to challenge Pereria for the belt once he recovered from his injury.

DJ Envy Arrest Possible If Radio Host Doesn’t Produce Bankruptcy Documents For Ex-Business Partner’s Company

DJ Envy could be arrested if he does disclose documents related to the bankruptcy filing of his former business partner, Cesar Pina. Per Meghann Cuniff, Envy has until January 8 to produce any and all documents requested by the court-appointed trustee of Pina’s Whairhouse LLC. Failure to comply could result in Envy’s arrest and a subsequent appearance in a New Jersey bankruptcy court. This news comes after Envy recently switched lawyers. The radio host dropped high-profile Blank Rome LLP in favor of the New Jersey-based firm, Williams, Graffeo & Stern, LLC.

Envy and Pina, along with Pina’s wife, are accused of running a multi-million dollar real estate scam that defrauded investors out of an amount in excess of $100 million. Envy has denied all the charges against him and has fiercely defended his name. This includes going as far as to sue former NFL player Tony Robinson for defamation. The situation against Envy is an ongoing one and will likely stretch well into 2024.

One person who has been thoroughly enjoying the whole mess with DJ Envy is Rick Ross. Time and time again, Ross has found something new to say about the various twists and turns in the case. “15 names on one piece of land, 14 n-ggas gonna take the stand,” Ross spat on Instagram in October. Ross isn’t the only person who has been clowning Envy about his mounting legal troubles. However, he is certainly the most consistent figure in the whole saga.

Furthermore, Ross also hit up Tyrese for a potential collab after the actor/singer became involved in a separate beef with Envy. “@Tyrese, let’s drop one,” Ross wrote on Instagram in September alongside a picture of Hollywood Unlocked report on claims that Ross wanted to sign the musician to MMG. Tyrese had been feuding with Envy over claims that Envy had mocked the former’s divorce. Things reignited a while later. In that instance, Tyrese took issue with comments that Envy made. Ever since late September, Chandler Jones’ life has spiraled out of control. The former defensive end for the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, and Las Vegas Raiders, is currently on his couch. After a series of concerning videos and arrests, the latter had no choice but to release him. The troubled NFL star rarely appeared for the recently relocated team, and when he did, Jones was not himself. The actions off the field were essentially the final straw, and it seems they are not stopping.

According to TMZ Sports, Jones was at his Arizona home when the police confronted him. As we mentioned earlier, he was handcuffed for violating protective orders. He did so twice, with the first instance involving him going to a woman’s home, stealing furniture, and setting ablaze in his yard. The new footage you can see below is from Monday morning.

They were “there to help,” as this could be another case of him being forced into a mental hospital. Even with Jones not being the best law-abiding citizen, there could be some deeply rooted issues with him.

Keefe D Says His Comments On 2Pac Are “Entertainment”

Keefe D says that the various interviews he’s given over the years discussing the death of 2Pac were for “entertainment” and that he was operating under the assumption he had immunity. His legal team made the argument in a new court filing obtained by AllHipHop, ahead of his upcoming murder trial. Additionally, his legal team says the comments he made in the interviews are unverified.

His lawyers say prosecutors “did not introduce any independent evidence connecting Duane Davis to the shooting” and instead used Keefe D’s book, Compton Street Legend, as well as “an astounding amount of hearsay.”

“The book and video interviews were produced for a financial benefit under the belief that Duane had immunity.” Keefe D’s attorneys continued. “The truthfulness of the content of the interviews was never verified. The book and interviews were done for entertainment purposes and to make money from a situation that Kading and others had already profited.” With their filing, the lawyers argue their client should be released prior to trial. They say he is “not a threat to the community,” nor “a flight risk.” He will even offer to wear an ankle bracelet.

Police first arrested Keefe D back in September and charged him with first-degree murder in the infamous 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur. He spoke about the killing in numerous interviews over the last two decades, as recently as earlier this year with VladTV. Darius McCrary Arrested, Reportedly Owes Over $50K In Child Support

Last month, former Family Matters star Darius McCrary was arrested for failure to pay child support. He was booked on a felony charge on November 27, reportedly owing upwards of $50K. McCrary is a father to three children, two daughters and a son. He was later arraigned and pled not guilty to the charge.

A judge then set his bond at just over $13K, and per their terms, McCrary would have to wear a GPS device. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, however, he’s still in custody. Unfortunately, this also isn’t the first time McCrary’s run into some issues for allegedly failing to pay child support. He was similarly arrested back in 2015 for being behind by roughly $5K, but was released the same day. In 2017, he revealed that he was struggling to make payments due to financial strain, claiming that he only brought in $500 the year prior.

In a 2020 interview with VladTV, the actor spoke about the nonprofit he founded, FathersCare. The organization aims to assist fathers by providing them with the resources they need to be the best parents they can be. During his conversation with DJ Vlad, he raised issues with the court system, arguing that it oftentimes “pushes” fathers out of their children’s lives. “My experience with my son has led me down a very difficult road,” he explained. “It’s been a really ugly experience of what the court system can do to men who really want to be in their children’s lives.”

“The system wasn’t broken it was designed this way,” he added, elaborating on his organization’s mission. “It’s a cold-blooded hustle, man. 6ix9ine’s Girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral, Charged With Felony Assault

Yailin La Más Viral, the girlfriend of 6ix9ine, is being charged with felony assault after a video emerged showing an altercation between her and the rapper. She was arrested in Palm Beach on Friday, according to HipHopDX. Furthermore, the charges against her are felony battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, obstruction of justice, and criminal damage to property worth $1000 or more. A bond of $9000 was paid by record producer Santiago “Alofoke” Matias.

Fans of both rappers were shocked when 6ix9ine posted footage of an altercation between himself and Yailin. In the video, she can be seen hitting 6ix9ine with a 2×6 and verbally assaulting the rapper before being restrained by police. Previously, 6ix9ine had posted a video of Yailin threatening him with a knife after accusing him of domestic assault.

However, 6ix9ine is in some legal trouble of his own. Earlier this month, the rapper was ordered to pay $9.8M to Alexis Salaberrios of Florida. 6ix9ine had been accused of hitting Salaberrios in the head with a champagne bottle. However, he failed to attend a hearing for the civil case, leading to a default ruling in Salaberrios’ favor. However, Salaberrios also claimed that 6ix9ine had been deliberately hiding his assets to avoid paying her. As a result, the court moved to seize the rapper’s income to pay the debt.

It’s not the first time that he has been accused of financial impropriety. His former friend SteveWillDoIt took shots at the rapper earlier this year. Steve claimed that he secured 6ix9ine a lucrative deal with video platform Rumble to “play video games once a week for an hour” and that the company was willing to pay $2 million upfront for that. However, Steve claims that 6ix9ine never fulfilled that contract, spent the $2 million on gifts for “black chicks” to “make his ex jealous” and that Steve was left with the $2 million debt.

Unfortunately for him, this is the latest in a series of arrests for similar charges, ones that have plagued his life and career for a long time. It’s important to note that much of this is due to the systemic conditions and circumstances that he faced while growing up in Chicago. Nevertheless, the specific charges include theft of over $10,000 in stolen goods, although the arrest report indicates that it doesn’t reach the $100,000 mark. In addition, this document details the specific firearm charges that he faces.

Furthermore, authorities took custody of Lil Zay Osama for possessing a loaded machine gun on his person and in the passenger compartment of his vehicle. Not only that, but the report also suggests that he modified the gun in some way that left a defaced serial number. It’s unclear what the “Ain’t On S**t” rapper’s status or condition is, as well as whether he’d be able to bond or bail out. Back in October of last year, Lil Zay Osama spoke on another arrest he faced and the circumstances behind his escape of it. “I’m On A 1Million Dollar Bail Rn,” he wrote on Instagram. “Ima Beat This Up Like Rocky Thanks to my lawyer @dawnmflorio [heart emoji] We Locked In 5L. Rich The Kid Arrest Came As Rapper Was Trying To Collect Money From Promoter: Report

As you may have heard, the “New Freezer” artist was arrested when forcing his way into a hotel amid a bomb threat. At the time, he allegedly told security attempting to stop him he would “bond out in 20 minutes” should they choose to take him in. Now, The Shade Room has an exclusive update on why Rich was reportedly so eager to get into his suite at the SLS Hotel as police were responding to a bomb threat last night.

A source close to The Kid tells the outlet that he was due to perform at Hyde Beach Nightclub, which is inside the venue. He and the promoter were planning to meet up so he could collect his payment for the concert, which also scheduled slots for A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and NLE Choppa. He was heading to the front of the building to meet the event organizer and get his money. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to accomplish his goal.
