Coi Leray Catches Our Attention While Posing In A Towel In Saucy New IG Post

We’re just two weeks out from the arrival of Coi Leray’s sophomore album, and so far, the 26-year-old’s marketing strategy seems to include plenty of thirst trapping. She’s never been one to hide her petite figure from the public eye, but in recent weeks, we’ve been receiving salacious content from Leray on a near-daily basis. The “Blick Blick” hitmaker’s most recent photo dump landed on Friday (June 9) afternoon, revealing to her millions of followers that she’s been living lavishly in London ahead of COI‘s debut.

“Can’t believe my sophomore album about to really drop,” the Boston-born artist reflected in the caption. “Truly grateful… Sky is the limit.” In the first photo, we see Leray cooly relaxing in what looks to be a luxurious hotel pool. She hides beneath a tight black swim shirt in the opening snap. The following images find her wearing little more than a towel while taking mirror snaps in various suggestive poses.

Coi was creative and crafty enough to make both a tube top and skirt out of towels, also wrapping her beautiful black hair up in one when she finished swimming. In the final image, the “Anxiety” artist finally opted to wear a towel in the traditional style, but couldn’t resist snapping a cheeky booty shot in the mirror before moving on to her next activities of the day.

Before taking some time to let her hair down in London, the rising starlet had a wild time in New York City last weekend. Not only was she one of the artists to perform at Hot 97 Summer Jam, but she also shared footage of her getting a little too lit in the Big Apple with her best friends. Upon releasing the @uniqueexvisions-directed effort this afternoon, Leray turned to Instagram to not only share a teaser clip, but also thank the countless people involved in the production, filming, and her glam. The “Players” songstress herself has been labelled as the creative director of the project, proving that she’s highly involved in the details of her work outside of just writing rhymes and dancing along to them.

It remains unclear at this time if the rising star plans to drop another single before COI lands on June 23. We’ve already heard her teasing “Make My Day,” and despite the mixed reception, Leray seems optimistic about the future success of her sophomore release. Nicki Minaj Confirms October Release Date For Next Album

Nicki Minaj’s last studio album, Queen, made its debut way back in 2018, boasting a 20-song tracklist and features from the likes of Eminem, Labrinth, Lil Wayne, The Weeknd, and more. Since then, the Trinidadian has been busy raising her little boy, known as Papa Bear, with husband Kenneth Petty. 2022 saw her make an impressive string of singles and collaborations, but ultimately failed to produce an album. Thankfully, Minaj confirmed via Twitter on Monday (June 5) that her fifth studio LP will arrive later this year.

“10/20/23,” she wrote in a post this afternoon, officially marking October 10th as the debut date of the untitled project. “The Album 💿🎀,” Minaj added after, making it clear she’s coming in full force this fall. It remains unclear who she plans to work with on the upcoming effort, though we’ve already heard her team up with stars like Ice Spice, NBA YoungBoy, and Kim Petras so far this year.

Nicki Minaj is Coming This Fall

Prior to 2018’s Queen, Minaj began to gain notoriety back in 2010 with Pink Friday. That tracklist boasted fan favourites such as “Moment 4 Life” with Drake and “Fly” featuring Rihanna. In the time after that, she gave fans the Roman Reloaded cut of the project, followed by The Pinkprint in 2014. The latter only brought more success the fashionista’s way, specifically thanks to collaborations like “Only” and “Feeling Myself.”

The only solo effort we’ve heard from Onika so far this year is “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” which earned her plenty of praise for expertly sampling a throwback favourite to spit her signature flow over. Elsewhere in the news, Nicki Minaj joined Sexyy Red on “Pound Town 2” at the end of last month. The remix boasts some of her most salacious bars to date, and after it dropped she penned a sweet message to the up-and-coming rhymer on Twitter. Travis Scott Shoots Music Video At Nice Stadium In France: Watch

It’s been a long time in the making, but Travis Scott’s UTOPIA is finally seeing the light of day. The Houston native began teasing his follow-up to Astroworld in 2021. Unfortunately, the tragedy that unfolded at his annual festival that year catapulted him out of the spotlight for some time. Scott has since been able to successfully rehabilitate his image, going on to play substantial stadium shows and headline at Rolling Loud Thailand.

More recently, the father of two’s efforts appears to be laser-focused on UTOPIA. He’s taking no shortage of measures to protect and promote his album. He was spotted at Cannes Film Festival last week, where his luggage made headlines along with an identical one carried by The Weeknd. Scott has yet to confirm a tracklist or any features on the project. Still, seeing as he and the Canadian have collaborated before, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear his vocals shine alongside the Rodeo rapper’s when the album finally drops.

Travis Scott Spotted Filming Something in France

Travis was also shooting some footage for what appears to be a music video while in Europe. He and his crew hit up Nice Stadium for a busy day of filming. A few small clips were captured by bystanders and shared on social media. In one, Scott calmly sits on top of a car, several motorbikes revving their engines in front of him. It remains unclear what song the visual is set to accompany, but the 31-year-old’s fans are excited to see what he’s got in store regardless.

The “CAN’T SAY” artist recently explained to fans what the title of his project means to him. “Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind,” he told Pin-Up Magazine last week. “But you create it yourself. There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.” Do you think that UTOPIA will be Travis Scott’s best album to date? Dominic Fike’s New “Ant Pile” Single Finds Him Reminisicing On A Past Lover

Back in 2020, Dominic Fike offered up an enticing debut project in the form of What Could Possibly Go Wrong, on which he delivered 14 featureless tracks. Since then, we’ve seen him make his acting debut on season two of HBO’s Euphoria, quickly becoming a fan favourite among household names like Zendaya and Jacob Elordi. Now that he has more free time to pour back into music, the “3 Nights” hitmaker is gearing up to drop his sophomore album, Sunburn.

The singer shared the big news earlier this month, along with confirmation of a July 7 release date. So far he’s given us one single, “Dancing In The Courthouse,” which was followed this New Music Friday (May 26) by another sure-fire hit. Called “Ant Pile,” the latest release finds Fike candidly reflecting on his first love, which definitely came with plenty of awkward moments during his younger years. As Uproxx notes, the forthcoming project is autobiographical in nature, and inspired by his childhood in Florida.

Coi Leray Confirms Sophomore Album, “COI,” With Topless Photos, Also Teases “Make My Day” Single

With her debut album, Trendsetter, Coi Leray made a solid impression last year. Across 20 tracks, she connected with the likes of Nicki Minaj, NAV, G Herbo, and Lil Durk, among many more, while also showing range throughout solo efforts such as “Heartbreak Kid” and “Lonely Fans.” After its first week out, the Boston baddie’s numbers came in at 11.5K album equivalent units sold, which is far lower than some anticipated considering the superstar collaborators she had the pleasure of working with.

Regardless, Leray has soldiered on, continuing to share exciting new singles and serve up scantily clad-looks in the months since. After teasing fans with a trio of titles so far this year – “Players,” “My Body,” and “Bops,” – the 26-year-old has, more recently, been hinting at the impending arrival of her sophomore project. She shared a pantsless photo dump on Instagram earlier this week while providing fans with an album update, and today (May 19), the fashionista confirmed exactly when it will arrive.

COI is Coming

Much like her debut, what appears to be the cover art shows Leray posing in a promiscuous position, hiding her bare chest with a massive chain and her hand. The few pieces of clothing she is wearing are all bright blue in colour, and her shiny black hair is styled in a blunt bob. “Introducing ‘COI,’ my second album. Dropping June 23,” the “Anxiety” artist confirmed in her caption, causing plenty of excitement to begin buzzing among fans.

Along with the big news, she also gave the world an early preview of what she says is “one of [her] favourite songs” from the upcoming project. As Billboard notes, it’s sure to be an internet hit, as it samples 1989’s “Pump up the Jam” by Technotronic, following her recent trend of paying tribute to old classics.

Since she first announced the impending arrival of her Clear 2: Soft Life EP at Dreamville Festival a few weeks back, Summer Walker fans have been bubbling over with excitement. With the debut date (this Friday, May 19) quickly creeping around the corner, the mother of three teased fans on Monday with a video revealing the project’s tracklist, as well as some noteworthy features and producers who helped out.

In the short and sweet clip, Walker hangs out with two of her best gal pals – Sexyy Red and Sukihana. The trio hilariously sample caviar while kicking it poolside. “So this is what the Caucasian people be eatin’?” the R&B starlet quips before giving us the details we’ve been waiting for at the end of the visual. If provided in order, the tracklist will begin with “To Summer, From Cole (Audio Hug),” which could potentially involve help from J. Cole, though nothing has been confirmed at this time.

Doja Cat Re-Introduces Herself As Emcee Flapchunks The 3rd After Announcing New Album Name

If you thought that Kanye West’s past album rollouts have been confusing, wait until you see what Doja Cat has had in store for hers. Fans of the genre-bending recording artist have long been awaiting her follow-up to 2021’s Planet Her, which is set to arrive later this year. The Californian previously announced the project’s title as Hellmouth, but according to a recent tweet, she’s since changed her mind on that. “It’s not called ‘hEllMoUth’ either, it’s called ‘First of All,’” Doja wrote in a tweet earlier this week. “And yes I’m announcing the album title right now.”

After watching reactions to that news pour in over the past few days, the “Woman” songstress returned on Thursday (May 11) with another update. “Everyone so angyyyyyyyyyyy MUUUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA,” she tweeted earlier this afternoon, acknowledging the obvious discontent with her recent antics. Shortly after that, Doja said that has a new moniker which she wants everyone to recognize her by effective immediately.

Doja Cat Reveals Her New Name

“My stage name is no longer Doja Cat,” the 27-year-old boldly declared. “It’s Emcee Flapchunks the 3rd, and you’ll address me as such.” Thankfully, some followers have been matching the lyricist’s energy in her replies, writing things like, “I hope [you] have a bad day ’cause I have to change all my passwords from dojacathater to emceeflapchunkshater now.” Another comedic response reads, “Pls point me to Emcee Flapchunks the 1st and 2nd.” Elsewhere, fed-up fans are begging Doja to quit trolling and drop some new music already.

Aside from causing a stir on Twitter, the controversial starlet also hopped on Live a few days ago to preview some of her upcoming work. Janelle Monáe Returns With “Lipstick Lover” Single, Confirms New Album Coming Soon

I’ve had my age of anxiety. I’ve had my age of struggle. And again, it’s not like life is pleasurable every single day, but I think I have actively just sought out… How do I create a space for myself? How do I redirect my mind on how I’m thinking about things?”

“How do I realize that right now in this present moment, moments that we’ll never get back, this is where you need to find your pleasure? This is your moment.
