Twitter Loves Tyler, The Creator’s “DOGTOOTH” Single

Tyler, The Creator’s last project, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, landed back in 2021. It was highly regarded amongst critics and has remained in constant rotation for many fans in the time since. Seeing as the project’s two-year anniversary is quickly approaching, the rapper’s listeners have been expecting to hear new music from him soon, but they certainly didn’t anticipate what he brought to the table today. On Monday (March 27), he began the week on a high note with the arrival of “DOGTOOTH,” which came alongside a major announcement.

In the new single’s accompanying visual, Tyler revealed at the end that he has more heat on the way before March comes to an end. On the final day of the month, he’ll be dropping CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: THE ESTATE SALE, a deluxe cut consisting of throwaway tracks that didn’t land on the initial album. After hearing “DOGTOOTH” this morning, many are wondering how something so incredible didn’t make the original project, and what other gems the 32-year-old has kept hidden in his arsenal for all this time.

Tyler, The Creator Makes Surprise Return with “DOGTOOTH” and Deluxe Album Announcement

“THE STREETS NEEDED THIS,” Cochise wrote in response to his fellow artist’s surprise single. “Tyler, The Creator dropping ‘DOGTOOTH’ & it not being on the album is craziness,” another Twitter user chimed in. “He slid on this one!” Elsewhere, others have been using their favourite funny memes to represent the joy that the California native’s work has brought them so far.

On the original CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST album, Tyler connected with a host of impressive collaborators. Among them are DJ Drama, Lil Wayne, Brent Faiyaz, Fana Hues, Lil Uzi Vert, and Pharrell Williams. It remains unclear who we can expect to hear from on THE ESTATE SALE version this coming Friday (March 31), but knowing The Creator, he’ll surely have some amazing surprises in store. Keep scrolling to read Twitter’s reactions to “DOGTOOTH,” and make sure to check back later for more hip-hop news updates.

Cher & AE Edwards Making Music Together, Singer Says Two Albums Are Coming

Cher and AE Edwards certainly aren’t the most conventional couple, but they have far more in common than meets the eye. The 76-year-old has graced the world with countless pop anthems over the years, and her younger beau happens to be musically inclined as well. It seems this is just one of their common bonds, and they’ve been working together to hopefully generate some revenue while letting their creativity flow.

Last Thursday (March 2), the fashion icon was attending the Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love taping when she spilled some tea about her and Edwards’ latest endeavours. “I’m going to England to make two albums. Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that,” she exclusively told E! at the time. “He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy.”

Aside from the forthcoming LPs, Cher also revealed that she plans to tour later this year. “I’m trying to get myself in shape,” she said. “I think like any artist when you’ve got something good, you’re excited.” It remains unclear exactly what the California-born performer plans to deliver on her albums, but we’re curious to hear what she and Edwards can cook up together.

It’s been nearly five years since the vocalist’s last release, Dancing Queen arrived on DSPs in 2018. Prior to that, she shared Closer to the Truth in 2013, Living Proof in 2001, and Not Commercial in 2000. Some of Cher’s best-known songs from her discography are “If I Could Turn Back Time,” “Strong Enough,” and “Believe.” With any luck, she and her beau will be able to craft a collaboration that does just as well.

Cher and AE’s Age-Gap Antics

The couple, who have 39 years dividing them, previously confirmed their relationship in November 2022. They were immediately hit with criticism from nearly every corner of the internet, but have continued to enjoy their time together regardless. Edwards, for his part, shares a son with Amber Rose but has obviously since happily moved on with Cher. As for the Armenian starlet, she welcomed two kids in her younger years. Are you excited to hear the couple’s upcoming music releases? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news.

The multi-talent previously broke out on the scene in 2016. His Shit Don’t Stop project helped him attract the attention of countless listeners and contemporaries. As a result of his hustle, he’s since worked with names like Freddie Gibbs, Nipsey Hussle, Mozzy, and Curren$y on various projects.

NAV Preps For “NAV 2” Project With New “Lately” Single

In the latter half of 2022, NAV impressed his fanbase with the arrival of Demons Protected By Angels. The 19-track effort landed on DSPs in early September, complete with guest appearances from Bryson Tiller, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, and more. To celebrate that project, the Canadian will be heading out on his Never Sleep tour next week – but not before sharing a new single with the world.

On Friday (February 10), the 33-year-old delivered “Lately,” which is set to appear on his forthcoming NAV 2 album. According to a press release, the singer’s next effort will be fully written and produced by him. It also marks the follow-up to 2017’s NAV, which includes just one feature from The Weeknd on “Some Way.”

His “Lately” single arrives just in time for NAV’s North American tour, which launches on Valentine’s Day in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Afterward, the artist is due to take over cities like Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, and Phoenix with special guests SoFaygo and RealestK. He’ll also make stops in Vancouver, BC on March 12th and his final performance will take place in Toronto on April 11th.

For the Never Sleep tour’s last night in the 6ix, NAV will perform alongside R&B star Bryson Tiller. On the latter’s Demons Protected By Angels album, he linked up with the Kentucky-born singer to craft their “Reset” track. It remains unclear if the latter will make any appearances on the upcoming NAV 2 album, but here’s hoping.

VINSON Drops “Sunroof” Single Ahead Of Debut “SoftSweetRadical” EP

As the final hours of the weekend pass us by, new music posts continue to surface across our site. As always, we have an artist markedly making their debut on HNHH today (February 5) with his “Sunroof” single. VINSON previously dropped the groovy track a few days ago in preparation for his upcoming debut EP.

The free-spirited release chiefly paints the picture of living in beautiful Southern California. “Slick thoughts and office talks done got me here,” he sings over production from Timo and Harriet Brown. According to a press release, the R&B artist took inspiration from D’Angelo and Maxwell in making his song.

“When I first heard the beat for ‘Sunroof,’ I thought of all the fly blaxploitation shit in the ’70s,” VOISIN says of his work. “It kinda feels like we’re living through a period similar to that right now. Finding a way to temporarily ignore disillusionment to stay present and focus on the fly shit,” he further explains.

The lead single also comes with a Mike Harris-directed visual that finds him living the West Coast dream through a yellow-tinted lens. Around him are stripper poles, fur coats, and of course, California’s rolling terrain. It ultimately all comes together to tell the dreamy story found in VOISIN’s own lyrics.

“With the video just trying to convey that feeling through the city I moved to in Los Angeles. It can get hectic out here but you can also create your own heaven if you want to, even when you see and feel the madness in the background. Just don’t get stuck,” he advises listeners.

Along with Sunroof, VOISIN announced that his debut SoftSweetRadical project will arrive next month, on March 3rd. It’s coming via Wichita Records, and the singer plans to celebrate with a release party on March 10th at a secret location in Los Angeles.

Tony Yayo Gears Up For “The Loyal” Mixtape With New “Clown You When You’re Down” Single

It’s been a minute since Tony Yayo gave his fans any solo music, but this weekend, the G-Unit rapper surprised the masses with a new single. As he prepares for his next album, The Loyal, the long-time lyricist is reminding the world that he’s still got it on “Clown You When You’re Down.”

The release comes in at just over two minutes and finds the 44-year-old laying down bars over a style of production that’s unusually different for him. The accompanying visual sees the artist enjoying the crisp winter weather while cruising on a snowmobile. In a recent Instagram post, Yayo reveals he took a trip to Thunderbay, Ontario in Canada for filming.

“Out here snowmobiling in a MINK @DarucciLeather. Where they do that at?” the “So Seductive” hitmaker asked his followers in the caption. “THUNDER BAY we outside TONIGHT.” When sharing the post last week, Yayo didn’t share that it was for a music video, though we now know what he was really getting into during his trip up north.

In another upload, 50 Cent’s frequent collaborator confirmed that The Loyal will be arriving in the near future. “DROPPING FEBRUARY SOON,” he promised readers, though no specific date was given. “Will be available on all streaming platforms,” he later added.

At this time, “Clown You When You’re Down” has only made its way onto YouTube, but that hasn’t stopped fans from listening and praising the rap star. “Glad Yayo is back, it’s his time,” one user wrote in the comments. “One of the most loyal guys in the game.”

NLE Choppa Shares “Champions” Single, Says It’s One Of His “Favourite Songs [He’s] Recorded”

So far in 2023, NLE Choppa has been a force to be reckoned with. The Memphis native previously began the year with an appearance on “Switches” alongside Clay “Krucial” Perry III. Afterward, he came through with “23,” and more recently, “Champions.”

According to a press release, this new arrival is one of the 20-year-old’s personal favourite songs that he’s recorded. “I just feel like it just shows empowerment, determination and motivation,” he explained. “I feel like this song can speak volumes to us [with motivation], but really resonate with those who don’t know what life has for them.”

“My view from the top of the moon / I can see the whole world sittin’ in my hand, amazin’ view,” Choppa chiefly rhymes over victorious horns and militaristic percussion on his first verse. “We finna break the rules / And we gon’ make ’em too.”

As a press release notes, “Champions” is now appearing on ESPN’s promos and various programming.

The new single will also appear on Choppa’s upcoming Cottonwood 2 project, said to be dropping sometime this spring. The predecessor, Cottonwood, first landed back in 2019 and came complete with 10 songs as well as a Blueface feature. It’s since gone on to earn a gold certification.

In a recent Instagram post, the southern star provided more context in his definition of a champion. “Anyone who has faced adversity and still haven’t let it define who they are on the inside,” he wrote.

“You’d think the homeless would be full of things that isn’t divine but instead every homeless person I meet are more grateful than people with everything they dreamed of. That tells me that a champion is NOTHING exoteric, it’s actually ESOTERIC.”

Big Boogie is on a roll already this year, following his previously released “Outside” single with another track today (January 24). The latest release, called “Twelve Four,” is due to appear on the rhymer’s forthcoming mixtape.

According to a press release, Yo Gotti’s protégé will deliver his Definition of Big Dude project on the last day of January. The effort’s sole guest appearance comes from Fat Trel on “P*ssy Monster.” Aside from that, Boogie’s bars will carry listeners through the 14-song tracklist.

Prior to this month’s drop, the last full-length tape the CMG artist gave us was Underrated. That had an impressive run, debuting at No. 9 on Spotify’s Top Albums Chart. Additionally, his “Pop Out” track specifically enticed fans. It subsequently reached No. 10 on the Urban Mainstream radio charts.

Throughout 2022, he grew his audience further with titles like “Off The Top Challenge” and “Scared Of You Too” with Mohead Mike and Boosie Badazz. Before that, his “KeKe” and “Meant Dat” songs both appeared on his label’s Gangsta Art compilation album.

Upon signing with CMG, BB was given an amazing chain from the “Down in the DMs” hitmaker. Since then, he’s proven himself to be a worthy contributor to the organization’s growth.

Chloe Bailey’s Debut Solo Album: R&B Diva Reveals Title & March Release Date

We’re not even a full month into 2023 yet, and already the new music we’ve heard has been undeniably amazing. Besides what artists have already dropped, it seems as though a highly anticipated new album is being announced multiple times a week. The latest lyricist to give us some good news regarding their debut project is Chloe Bailey.

Of course, the world already loves her for her work alongside little sister Halle Bailey on their Ungodly Hour project. That previously landed back in 2020, boasting popular titles like “Do It,” “Forgive Me,” and the titular track.

As the younger of the two began an exciting venture into the world of Disney, Chloe launched her career as a solo artist. She shared her “Have Mercy” hit at the end of 2021. While Halle was “Under The Sea” with Flounder and other friends on The Little Mermaid set, her sibling was performing at the VMAs and teasing more amazing singles to come.

It initially seemed as though we may hear Bailey’s debut album arrive last year, but instead, she built up plenty of suspense with her sultry songs. First, we heard “Treat Me” in April, and after that, she had some fun on the Shemix of “GYALIS.”

Arguably the most salacious of Chlöe’s recent singles is “Surprise,” in which she flirtatiously sings about having her panties pulled to the side.

Finally, Chlöe gave us “For the Night” featuring Latto at the end of October. Ahead of the popular track’s release, the vocalist revealed during a Twitter Spaces session that she wrote it about Gunna and their short-lived fling that took place in early 2022.

Of course, the world has been eager to hear more from the 24-year-old. Thankfully, she’s been sharing countless thirst traps on her Instagram feed to fill the appetites of hungry fans.

One of them arrived on Tuesday (January 24), along with exciting news regarding her long-awaited release. “‘IN PIECES.’ MY DEBUT ALBUM. MARCH 2023,” she wrote in the caption.

The accompanying video clip sees Chlöe wearing bright red locks and a skin-tight dress in the same shade. A front cutout reveals her cleavage for the camera, and gold hoops dangle from her ears. In either hand, she appears to hold golden objects on a platter.

Lil Yachty Unveils New Album Artwork & Release Date

New music from Lil Yachty has been a long time coming. Thankfully, the 25-year-old announced on Tuesday (January 17) that he has plenty on the way before the month comes to an end.

Earlier this afternoon, the “Poland” artist dropped off the cover art and official release date for his highly anticipated Let’s Start Here project. The effort’s artwork sees a series of distorted faces – men and women – manically laughing while wearing suits.

In his caption, Yachty announced an arrival date of January 27th. “Chapter 2. Thank you for the patience,” he later added.

Let’s Start Here marks the Georgia native’s first release since August 2021’s BIRTHDAY MIX 6. For that EP, he teamed up with friends like Lil Tecca (“Virgo World”) and DC2Trill (“Three Six Talk” and “Lord of the Beans”). It remains unclear if the rapper presently has any plans to collaborate on his upcoming album.

As Genius notes, Yachty first teased his work in May of last year. At the time, he wrote on social media, “I try not to tweet ‘cuz I know y’all want [the] album… I’ll come back with that, best one yet. Promise.”

By early October, his “Poland” single was making serious waves about what’s next for the SoundCloud star. At that time, he promised his project in the new year. However, he was granted an unfortunate Christmas gift when the entirety of his work leaked under the name SONIC RANCH on December 25th.

A few days later, Yachty clarified that the title was inaccurate. Still, he planned to move forward with dropping his album in the new year. The official cover, title, and release date still wound up leaking a few days early thanks to a vinyl release website.

In other news, earlier this month the “Yacht Club” artist was on the hunt for an all-female band. Read more about his latest musical endeavours here, and check back later for more hip-hop news updates.
